I’ve been to Taqueria El Pastor a few times now, both ordering in person and through Uber Eats, and I’ve always had a good experience. The atmosphere is really nice — friendly, calm, and not overly crowded, which I appreciate. It’s a comfortable place to stop by and actually enjoy being there. The vibe is relaxed and welcoming, and the staff are genuinely kind. The girl who works the front register is especially sweet, fun, and friendly — I actually met her last year and ended up making a friend there, which says a lot about the kind of environment this place has. Food is consistently good, service is pleasant, and overall it’s just an easy, feel-good spot to go to. Definitely a neighborhood place I enjoy and recommend.

I love this place! The servers are so helpful and friendly. The place is clean, cute, and a lot of fun. Here, I have tried the birria tacos, vegetarian tacos, and their tacos al pastor. And I have also tried their volcán with carne asada. Everything is so tasty, divine, and fresh. They make their own tortillas, and they are so good! The tamarind juice and hibiscus water are delicious. I have come here many times, and I always leave satisfied and with a smile. Thank you!

This five star review is because the Al pastor tacos are in matched in New York. They have the best ones! And do yourself a favor and get the Al pastor burrito or quesadilla—it’s a ton a food for the price.

Best Tacos in Brooklyn ! Always fresh made to order, try the nopales they’re grilled perfectly. The pastor is also really good and tender. Even tortillas made in house very good place !!!

I’ve gone to most of the taco spots in the area and have concluded Taqueria al Pastor is number one. The food is outstanding, prepared incredibly fast, and the service always amazing. I come back here frequently.

We wanted to try this place for the longest. The wait was worth it!! The food was actually really good. They took a little while because they were busy. The quesadilla was incredible the salsas were not spicy; that would be my only complaint. Besides that, great!!! Everyone was friendly and food was incredible!!

Clean establishment, very friendly & welcoming staff members! :D amazing food even a lil cold, I couldn’t wait when I got home to re heat it, it smelled so good on the walk home and then comes the soaked napkin I almost tried eating thinking it was extra tortilla!! They are so delicious and I will definitely be coming back. Not to mention the free drink that for my first time having was so refreshing! I never tried the dark purple flavor before (I can’t remember the name💔) 10/10 Birria+ consomé <3 thank you!!!

I stopped in just for the tacos — and that’s all you really need to know. The al pastor taco is the star of the show: perfectly seasoned pork shaved right off the trompo, topped with pineapple, fresh onions, and cilantro, all wrapped in a handmade nixtamal tortilla that holds everything together like it was meant to. It’s not the cheapest taco in NYC (around $5.75 each), but the quality backs up the price. The meat was juicy, not greasy, and the sweetness from the pineapple balanced the richness of the pork. Flavor-wise, it’s easily a 9 out of 10. Didn’t try the burritos or other menu items, but the taco game here is strong. If you’re into real-deal tacos that remind you of a Mexico City street cart, this is worth the trip. Would definitely go back — especially to try a few more while they’re hot off the trompo.
