My first time going to Flaming Grill & Buffet: The location is excellent and it was easy to get to (although I don't feel very safe in that area as I live a bit far away (at least an hour by train). The food is acceptable, you can't expect anything gourmet "you get that you pay for". But, Their fries are delicious compared to other buffets 🍟 There wasn't much variety (I still filled up very quickly and couldn't taste all the food). I loved the Fries, Fried Rings, Fried Chicken, Chicken Skewer, Hibachi Chicken, Seafood Soup, Mushroom, Fried Tilapia, Mussels, But I was a little disappointed for the spring roll, bbq spare ribe, filled scallops and others because it was very cold and the consistency was hard to chew 🙁 Also the ice creams there was no variety and the ones that were there really had no flavor for me. I also liked that all the meals had their legend to know what it is (both in Chinese and English). The staff is really friendly and they have a lot of energy. All the staff (recepcion desk and waiters) from what I saw are fast, respectful and hardworking women!!! I am very grateful with them because a staff like this makes the visit really warm and pleasant ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 🙌 A really positive point because in other Buffets the waiters don't even smile, they seem unhappy doing their job or demand you give tips... The bathroom surprised me by how clean it was and it didn't smell bad 👍 I would really like come back again and bring my friends and family to try Sushi and Hibachi✨ PD. Here they give you fortune cookies before ending your stay, that's very cool!!! 🥺☺️❤️

My family got invitations here we catch up with old friends. We were need it a huge table the place is great when you meet with big group. Service was excellent fast. Every food was fresh. Crab legs no extra charge on sunday. I eat many shrimps seafood crabs sushi fruit dessert ice creams….. multiple side dishes,soups, hibachi section all for $16.99 without drink,so affordable .

Got to know about this place from a friend and I visited with my family. The foods was tasty and we ate to our satisfaction. Average price per person comes to ~$20. The service was OK but not great. One of the server seem to be in a rush to see my family leave which was kind of annoying a bit. Overall, our experience was a pleasant one and we will be returning

OK so the seafood boil is where it's at for me! The flavvoooorrrrrr...yessss!! The salt and pepper shrimp also so delicious. They really season these 2 dishes like mommas kitchen at home! String bean are also one of my favorite healthy options...lightly seasoned with minced garlic and still maintain a slight crunch while cooked thru. Delicious. Mei fun noodles are also really good here. Everything else is pretty much NY buffet standard. Which isn't bad but nothing to shout about.

A group of us made the trip all the way to Flatbush just to try out this buffet. I was pleasantly surprised at the extremely reasonable prices. We paid $25 pp, for the all you can eat dinner and unlimited soft drinks. This price alone was worth the trip. The food area has a wide selection of meats, seafood, sides, desserts and they can even cook your selection on the hibachi style grill. This place is great if you're a seafood lover. I really wanted to try a bit of everything but there was so much food that it was a bit overwhelming. I would say that the majority of the seafood I tried was pretty good. The various styles of shrimp were my favorite. The salmon was also very good. I was not really impressed with the sushi roll options as it was pretty much California rolls and I don't eat imitation crab. My only minor complaints are that I wish some of the dishes had labels listing the ingredients since I was confused about some of the food. I understand that buffet food is not going to be piping hot but the majority of the food was lukewarm.

While the price was reasonable, the food quality could be much better. The dishes lacked flavor, and the buffet didn’t offer as many options as other buffets. Some popular items were not available. Overall, it didn’t meet my expectations.

Price for each adult $18.99. Wednesday dinner. Amazing hibachi section with raw chicken, beef, steak, eggs, noodles ready to be cooked. Most of the food in this buffet was fresh except the steak in the trays). They were a little sour, but hibachi steak was fresh though. but other than that most the food was delicious. I wouldn’t say there was a lot of variety, but you get what you get for $18. Ice cream was good and my favorite was the fried fish. The service speed was amazing though. Incredibly fast. Drinks are $2.5 each with unlimited refills. No wait and no time limit.

I wouldn’t personally come here again. Food was ok definitely had many options especially for those who love seafood. My main concern is the cleanliness of this restaurant, I went over to get dessert and saw many little roaches roaming around in a corner of a wall. I proceed to walk down where the ice cream is located and there’s more roaches! You guys need to do better that’s not ok!! Lastly our server wasn’t very knowledgeable, she did not comprehend basic English. I personally wouldn’t recommend. I gave two stars instead of 1 because staff wasn’t bad they were nice but overall I’m here for food as well and there’s no way I can come back to eat where I see no cleanliness. I’m not the first to observe the roaches, others have left reviews saying the same: why is that not being taken care of ??

I had a VERY disappointing experience at this restaurant and would NOT recommend it for large gatherings. A couple of weeks before my mother’s birthday, I called to confirm that they had a party room. I was told they did and it can accommodate up to 100 people, so I reserved it for 50 people and paid a $100 deposit. I sent out invitations to my guests and even called the restaurant to confirm the amount of guests. When we arrived, we were asked to pay immediately at the entrance, only to find out there was NO PARTY ROOM at all. Nothing had been prepared for our group; tables were not set up and we ended up scattered across different tables throughout the restaurant. Staff never apologized for the misinformation or the chaos, nor did they offer any kind of compensation. The food selection was decent, but the stress of the situation made it very hard to enjoy. For anyone planning a large event here, please be aware of how disorganized things can be. It was straight chaos, but we made the best of the situation. On a practical note, they do have rooftop parking, and there is an elevator that takes you down to street level through an adjoining supermarket. The area is also very busy, so allow extra time for parking and navigating the surroundings. Unfortunately, I would NOT return to this location if I can help it.

i don’t usually give out bad reviews, but i feel like this is well deserved. if i can give zero stars, i truly would. i went to this place with a couple of my coworkers and i got food poisoning. the second i picked up multiple different plates and couldn’t find a single clean one, i should’ve walked out, but i didn’t. i washed my plate and my boyfriends plate myself in the bathroom bc when i asked them for a hot rag to clean my plate, they started talking in mandarin and quite literally ignoring me and my friend who also wanted a hot rag. if their utensils and plates aren’t even clean, i don’t even wanna know about the food. i had to go to the hospital bc of how bad i was projectile vomiting. i will never be going back.

I’m 15 I went with my family there for my dads birthday, the food there was mid, the kids are running around the whole place there was no adult there to stop them and one of them bump into me, after about 30 mins when me and my family was eating one of the lady’s start to side eyeing me and my family and start speaking in Chinese and fuzhounese complaining for no reason, me and my family were nice we were helping them cleaning up not making no mess and was really respectful to the people that was serving us, it said 18 dollars per person but that was not the case it was 21.55 per person it was all false advertising, and my family was nice enough to leave them a tip because I was saying that we don’t need to because the service was bad and they be talking about us for no reason thinking that I don’t understand Chinese we only been there for 30 mins other people that was there before us been there longer then us they don’t have a problem with them but they have a problem with me and my family that is just so messed up, other then that the food there was not fresh instead it was old there was a bbq section the meat there underneath was dark and not fresh AT ALL and they think it’s good to serve that to people, there was not a lot of options and there was no snow crab no nothing the food there was so mid that I would rather go to McDonald’s, overall the place it look nice but the food was mid the service was bad and the staff was rude and you just can’t trust nobody bruh, god forbid I didn’t get food poisoning from that place I’m just greatful that I’m not in the hospital right now so don’t go here if you don’t want food poisoning.

The buffet is simply not worth it because none of the food is good. It all tasted off, bland, or mediocre. Some of it was genuinely beyond disgusting and I saw several health code violations like the ice cream scooper being stored in dirty rancid water that almost made me puke. A lot of the food doesn't even have a sign so you have no idea what it is, I accidentally ate fish, ew... and this is a huge issue for people with allergies as well. I would never go back. The service was also awful, I saw 2 workers doing inappropriate things out in the open... 1 was feeling the other one up! Ew?? Can't believe I tipped these people.... I lost my appetite before I could even eat my money's worth. DON'T come here!

I've seen this place in TikTok and Rednote so I thought I'd try it out. Turns out it's true: 1. Don't trust the Internet. 2. You get what you pay for, and I'd good pay money to never have to eat here again. The food was bland and tasteless, even for cheap buffet fair. The sushi was full of cream cheese or smothered in mayo. The majority of the food was not even Chinese or Japanese inspired, it was all greasy and fried. Some highlights were bananas in cherry sauce that tastes like Robitussin, crab shells filled with mayo and God knows what else, raw oysters that were dried out from sitting on an ice bed, and bbq chicken so dry I mistook part of the meat for a bone. There's wasn't a single dish I tried that I enjoyed. Also, you pay before you eat, but the waitstaff comes around and puts an empty bill tray on your table asking for tips? I'm not opposed to tipping at a buffet but it really seemed like a move to get you out the door, just add a tipe line when people pay... Overall, I consider this an absolute waste.
