It was my son's 16th Birthday we came with about 13 people. We did call a few days before for reservations. The staff was very accommodating. We paid for all the teenagers meals, and the other adults were able to get their own separate bills. Our waiter was so pleasant. I don't remember her name but she got all of our order correct, she was extremely friendly. She made sure they came out and sang Happy Birthday to my son. The food was good. My son ordered guacamole he said it didn't have enough seasoning, but other than that everyone was satisfied. The drinks were on point. The only thing is they usually have music and that day the TV's were down. It was so quiet. If you just want a quick bite to eat and a nice drink this is the place for it. If you want to get a group together in a couple of days this is the place for you.

It's soo good to know that BBQ is still that GIRL after all these years. The food was great, drinks superb and atmosphere nostalgic! Our waiter, I forget his name, Ibo?? super attentive and when we didn't receive one plate for my niece he made sure to have it out ASAP. Been here a few times with friends. Overall I’d say this place is a hit or miss (hence the 3 stars). Last time I went i asked for water before ordering and got it after I finished my meal. However, I’ve also had good experiences where the person was very on top of it and great! Food is a bit bland. Drinks are large and per my friends, fairly priced. I enjoy that they let my friends take their drinks that they couldn’t finish.

This place sucked. Not like how it use to be. The quality of the food went down bad. The ketchup on the table tasted funny just to look and see it was expired. I just two more bottles on other tables and all expired smh. The only good thing are the drinks and that wasn't even good. Went on a Sunday night and it was mostly empty. I will not be coming back to this location. I was feeling nauseous when I got home.

I want to start out by saying that my wife and I have been going to Dallas BBQ’s as one of our favorite places to go for our date night. We have been to this location from when since they 1st opened, and a few times since. It has been over 3 yrs since our last time at the Downtown Brooklyn location. Upon walking through the doorS, we were hit with a smell of old liquor spilled floors. The floors and the entire interior is in need of a remodeling and renovation. Looking at how the neighborhood itself has changed to a more pricier look and feel with high rise apartments everywhere, then this location needs to keep up with the times. The staff was very pleasant and kind. I was disappointed by them not being able to offer the drinks on the online menu, but the drinks we ordered were great nonetheless. The Vegetable Tempura was delicious. I am uoset that the Gluten Free Soy Sauce was not an option for people with Gluten allergies. My wife ordered the Traditional Quarter Chicken (White meat) with Fries and Cornbread. She said the chicken was delicious, but the Fries and Cornbread were not so much. The fries were over cooked and the cornbread is still the same dry recipe that has been used forever. I ordered the Salmon and Shrimp(Grilled) Combo with Fries. I agree that the fries could have been better. The Salmon was way over cooked to the point that is was dry and tough. Our waiter allowed me to swap for an additional Shrimp. The Texas Size Drinks never disappoint! Henny Coloda is a Go! The interior, and restroom could all use a make over.

Love the food. But I have to be honest about something. Several times I’ve been here and used my debit card I’ve suddenly had a crazy charge on my card. Could’ve just been coincidence, but last time I went there I got a charge for a Harley motorcycle hit my card 3 days later that was not mine. So please be cautious, use cash here.

The food wasn't really good and came cold, The restaurant itself looked nothing like as it was advertised on google, the drinks Look nothing like the picture, Some of the non alcoholic drinks are apparently no longer being sold so I believe the menu should be updated. They must have been having an off day based on all the good reviews they have because the food was so bad. A few of the wings had a little blood in them, the steak was overdone and completely lacked flavor. Pretty much everything we ordered was so bad we didn’t even bother to complain because they would basically have to return the entire table of food. The only good thing was the Henny colada. We paid $30 to park just so we could eat here just to be completely disappointed. I wouldn’t dream of setting foot back in this place.
