I had the pleasure of going this morning and my experience was great staff was friendly. The food was amazing! Place is small so if you plan to eat there come early to get a seat. I had the Everything Sando and added Salmon 😍. I got the toffee banana bread and the vanilla bean cake both are great and good size for the price. I will definitely be back great NYC gem.
my favorite place in the neighborhood! I’ve had the majority of their soft serves and I still can’t wait to see what it’ll be every week! they also have the best breakfast sandwich and the best baked goods. honestly I’m in awe, shouts out to dolly’s and after every visit I look forward to stopping back in for the next one. kind people and amazing everything!
I almost don’t want to post this but love supporting small businesses. The breakfast sandwiches are incredible. We got both the everything and BEC. The raw honey cinnamon bun with cream cheese frosting was so airy and not too sweet. It was so good that we had to get back in line to bring two more home. Dolly knows what she’s doing!
Ordered two of the breakfast sandwiches, rice crispy and sticky toffee banana bread. Really liked the breakfast sando. The BEC fell a little short for me. I loved their coffee. The workers were so friendly and charming. Loved the music and the vibe of the place. Will love to revisit.
Literally my favorite pastry shop, please tourist understand this is the hood so please be militant and pay attention. Just wish you guys were open everyday. Also love the owners.
In love with this place the owner is so creative I wish it was a restaurant my favorite things are the honey bun the sticky toffee banana bread thin mint latte and the chili and cornbread special also the cacio E Pepe bread is sooooo good . Love this place !
I don’t care where in New York City I ever live. I will always come back for Dolly’s. 10 out of 10 every single time. Autumn puts love into everything she puts out.
I love this place... i will continue coming back all the way from LI. They make the best pastries and ice-cream...everything else is good too but those are my go to. I love all of them
This banana sticky bread is delicious. Moist even though it's a corner its not hard. The sticky doesn't make it too sweet. It's perfect. Especially with their expresso which is super yummy.
Amazing coffee shop. Warm food and great service. The drinks were refreshing and the pastries were reasonably priced. Went around Easter time and must say they had seasonal eats as well. Must try anytime in New York
After moving to NYC, I became a fan of the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich, and damn, this was by far the best one I had, probably ever! It is a small coffee shop that makes everything by hand daily, and you can 100% taste that and appreciate the passion and dedication of the staff at Dolly's. I loved the twist and uniqueness of their sandwich. First of all, it comes with an ash brown (yuummm), and secondly, it's in a focaccia, not just any industrial roll. It was really delicious and juicy, 10/10. The barista and the person at the counter were also really lovely and hospitable. They also have what seems to be some really delicious sweet treats like honey buns and banana bread, which I didn't get to try this time. It's definitely worth some train time from Manhattan! See you soon :)
Coming this place even when they were called bread and butter So far so amazing, delicious, Normally I don't like eating flour , I am more like a eat proteins type of person, But this place has amazing food with flour and dessers !!!! We like their hot cholate and coffees as well really tasty 😋 only criticism on my end give us one more croissant with the tomato 🍅 soup please !! 1 is not enough 🤣 and may be beef, lamb dishes please Must come , must try thank you guys !!

Great ambience & service. They need to win an award! Everything is fresh never stale
This place never disappoints. Got the everything sandwich the other day and it was great. Menu favorites include: taro bun, sticky toffee banana bread (absolute perfection) and the pecan bar was delightful too. All their seasonal bun options are so good (blueberry, peach, biscoff)

Amazing spot that has hands down become one of my favorites. The food and pastries are delicious and the staff are so kind! All around wonderful vibes and atmosphere!
The honey bun was really good and well balanced, not too heavy. The cheesesteak and egg sandwich was also good, but it didn’t quite do it for me. All of their baked goods looked pretty great. The place gets quite busy, so go early to avoid the crowds.
Their everything sando with smoked salmon was maybe the best breakfast sandwiche i’ve ever had, so much so that I went again the next day. Their honey bun was also spectacular and I wanted to try the other sweets but the portions we’re just too big (no complaints) The cafe is quite small so it doesn’t lend itself very well to sitting in, but there are tables outside for the warmer months! its also a bit on the pricier side but worth it for a treat imo. the staff is kind and helpful and everything is very clean, i’ll definitely be back **shout out to whoever had the perfect soul playlist going on monday morning, nov 17th**
i would give 10 stars if i could! the honey bun was soft and perfectly sweet without being too much. the white chocolate and raspberry cookie was also good. however the service was what made it really special! everyone is very kind. loved it.

Ended up trying the cookies and creme brownie, sticky toffee banana bread and their chocolate chip cookies. I really liked how you could smell the items, especially their banana bread. When I went, everyone was in there for coffee. The place is quite small, so it does have that cozy vibe, however because of how packed it is, (which I would say is a good thing), it is a bit hard to move around in there. Overall, a pretty decent place, and I would recommend people try the treats they have in there.
Fantastic breakfast sandwiches. Tried out the everything with lox and bacon egg cheese. Some of the best breakfast sandwiches I’ve ever had, especially on the foccacia which leveled it up. Tried the honey bun as well. So good. Not too sweet no to heavy. Light and delicious but decadent as well. I unfortunately did not get to try the banana bread but I’m sure it’s also great. Got the chocolate chip cookie and the chai latte. These are whatever, you can skip. Their prices are unfortunately incredibly high. Spent about 50 dollars in total. Also the shop is tiny and a line did build while I waited and all seats were taken so I was constantly being bumped. I waited about 30 min for my food so definitely not a pop in before work spot but quite good if you have the time.
The best and bougiest Bacon, Egg and Cheese sandwich ever. And the cinnamon roll is to live for! The service was great and friendly. My only minor gripe is that it takes a bit of time for the orders, but can't rush perfection. I will be back.
Dolly’s Coffee Shop Layout/atmosphere *Four high tops; tables on sidewalk Food/drink *Iced Chai Latte - Good *Sticky Toffee Banana Bread - very good; slices of banana visible *Everything Sando (scrambled egg, scallion cream cheese, pickled onions, hash brown & dill on everything Parker roll) - Good; crunch from hash brown; contrasting blend of textures

The food is great, but if you decide to go there - check the prices they charge when ringing you up! The prices in the display case are cheaper than the price they charge at the register. For example, the rice crispy treats had a $6 tag in the case, but rang up as $6.50. Fifty cents isn't really a huge deal, but its actually a very dishonest was of making more money off customers who are mostly distracted on their phones or chatting with each other. They also used to do this back when it was called Bread and Butter, before they reopened as Dolly's. I stopped frequenting Bread and Butter after they pulled this sneaky move a few times. When they reopened, I thought I would give this local, small business another chance. I was bummed and disgusted to see they are still doing the same thing. Also, I ordered an iced mocha during my last visit and one of the ingredients had clearly gone bad. The drink burned my tongue from such strong acidity that I had to return it. The owner was so rude, she practically threw the money at me and didn't offer a replacement drink nor did she account for the upcharge for oat milk in the cash she shoved my way. I am always happy to support small businesses, but not when they are dishonest and ungrateful. I will happily take the $25-$30 I was spending there weekly elsewhere.
