Fushimi Williamsburg was an amazingly decadent time! The ambiance was top shelf. I felt like I was transported to Japan upon entering. The food was amazing my Fiancée had the chicken and shrimp tempura roll. I had 2 signature rolls: the Dragon roll and the Sex on the beach roll, both were amazing! Naomi our sever recommended the mini filet mignon appetizer, which was delicious as well. We felt very cared for and seen by Naomi. It was my birthday and I felt very special. We would definitely come back we are already making plans to come back!
Amazing place with too notch food and service. My go to sushi spot and worth the trip from Queens
had a great night! Summy the bartender is amazing!
Our go to sushi place in the neighborhood. We've been coming here for years now. Sushi is always fresh, perfect temperature, great tasting. My current favorite is the spicy tuna over crispy rice. Drinks are fabulous. I get the Lychee Martini if I want it sweet otherwise I go with hot sake. Finish everything with the Molten chocolate cake. Service is excellent. Spacious with great but not overbearing music.
Let’s get this out of the way first. The sushi is very good quality and fresh. But this place is so much more than the food. Fushimi was the 1990s restaurant experience I never knew I needed. What do I mean by that? Well, upon entering, I literally felt like I was transported back to the 90s. The interior design, the grandeur, the 90s dance hits playlist. Despite the retro feel, the place has been pristinely maintained. It was truly a one-of-a-kind experience. A place I am excited about returning to either for dinner or for drinks and vibes.
Came here on a Sunday after a relaxing day at Bathhouse to celebrate my friends bday. Not too far from the train. Happy-hour is from 4-7pm. Also serving lunch and dinner. Nice decor. Huge space. Full bar. Attentive staff. My friend and I we sat at the bar for the Happy-hour. Our bartender Isaac was wonderful; great customer service and engaging. I liked his energy. We ordered a couple things: I had the Wagyu Nori Taco which was crispy and good but small. The truffel fries were fried well and good. The Spicy salmon and Eel avocado roll were also good. My friend ordered the Corn ribs, which was flavored nicely and very interesting. She also had the crispy rice sushi; very good as well. And the Fish Taco she said, was good. For drinks I had the Lychee Martini and my friend the white Sangria with Twist. Isaac also made us a shot of something that was very good. I'm glad we stopped in and had a great time. I would reccomend to Definitely check Fushimi out
Celebrated my 30th birthday here and had an awesome experience! They coordinated our reservation nicely, and fully accommodated us when I wasn't sure our headcount the day before. She called me again the day of to confirm and was really nice. Upon arriving, she asked who's birthday it was which I appreciated. They brought out a birthday dessert and sparkler which was so nice. The receipt even had a customized message on it. And the food was excellent, great sushi rolls and hot entrees. Will be back!
Went here for dinner and definitely recommend. Have already told several people about my positive experience. Servers Susanto and Coco were fantastic, very attentive, always had the water glass full, and very pleasant. Food was outstanding - had rock shrimp, petit filet, lobster roll, and Parmesan crusted chicken. Can’t wait to dine here again.
My server was a guy named Steven, it was my 18th birthday so i came here to celebrate it. The food was as good as the photos looked and the customer service was amazing! A waiter named Steven is possibly one of the nicest people I’ve met by far and was our waiter for the night! 10/10 place would go again!
This was our third visit to Fushimi because WOW the food always impresses! The atmosphere is eclectic, most of the space is a sit down restaurant but the music, laser lights, and front bar section all suggest dance club. Ultimately you gloss over it because the food is incredible and the staff is always so friendly and attentive. The Chutoro Crispy Rice w/caviar appetizer was unique: the rich Chu toro flavor, jalapeño spice, the salty pop of the caviar, and the crunch of the crispy rice all came together so nicely. The Sex on the Beach roll had a creamy citrus lightness to it that complemented the crunchy shrimp tempura so wonderfully. The Chu Toro nigiri is the stuff of dreams: the meat is a tender cloud of delectable bliss. The Molten Cake w/red velvet ice cream is a decadent finish to all of it. Fushimi is a favorite of ours, we’ll continue to come back! Highlights: All of it really — Chu Toro nigiri (an absolute must), Chutoro Crispy Rice w/caviar, Sex on the Beach roll, Surf & Turf roll, molten chocolate cake Date visited: 1/11/25
Hold your plates tight, they will always try to get it away 😂 If you’re coming close to their closing they will try to get you out of the restaurant asap. Other than that I loved every single thing about Fushimi. Great location in Williamsburg, modern “spacy” design, diverse options for seating (big square tables, round tables, booths, etc). Kind and gentle staff, they definitely know every detail about the food - so don’t be shy and ask, they know all answers! Very patient waiters, friendly hostess. The food is awesome, I love Asian food and this spot in Williamsburg is definitely my go to if I’m in a mood for some boogie fancy and interesting Asian fusion. They have many options: fish, meat, salads, sushi, desserts. Cocktail menu is diverse as well. UPDATE! Was there on Saturday. FANTASTIC service, we had a very good time and enjoyed the food 🔥🔥🔥
I don’t even know where to begin! I absolutely love this restaurant, every detail and thing about it. The food is seriously an 11/10. I wish they had this restaurant in San Francisco! Highly recommend getting a Lychee Martini, one of the best ones I’ve had in NYC thus far. I wish I could’ve tried the whole menu because it’s seriously that good but these were some of my favorite dishes (see the photos). Peep the bathroom, just the coolest spot ever with great music too!
First time here and it won’t be my last time. I came to celebrate a friends birthday and it was an amazing time. We had a hostess named Elaine who was very cordial and attentive to our needs/orders. She was very engaging, and suggested some very good drinks along with food options. The food was amazing. We got the shrimp fried rice, dragon and mummy rolls, fried duck and other items. Everything was delicious and we enjoyed the food. Drinks were amazing, we had 3 rounds each topped with birthday green tea shots from Elaine for our friends. Atmosphere was amazing, and intimate. The music was not too loud so we were able to converse and enjoy each others company. I had an amazing time and will definitely be back.
This is a great sushi spot, with a variety of different options to choose from, including vegetarian and dietary restrictions. The cost for two people, plus sake and dessert, was just around $100 with the tip included. The ambiance has more of a club setting with house music when I was there, but it was not overpowering or distracting to have a normal conversation. Had a great time, and I will return the eel with cucumber roll was my favorite.
Had our monthly team meeting here for lunch. The vibe was quiet and relaxing and the staff was attentive and accommodating. The food was amazing and cooked to perfection. We got the tomahawk steaks and organic bake chicken. The sushi rolls were fresh and delicious. The drinks were all delicious but my favorite was the 7ladies. The creme brûlée and molten lava cake was rich , smooth and delicious. Really wished they had the green cheesecake available. But overall amazing space. Great for meetings, first dates or to host parties.

The ambiance here is beautiful. Service was excellent and the food is varied and delicious.
Amazing food and amazing service and not as expensive as you think I thought I was gonna pay $200 but only payed $100
The food was great. The customer service was excellent, I admire the ambiance of the place.
Wonderful, beautiful and delicious! Go after dark and eat indoors to experience one of the most beautifully-lit and decorated restaurants around. The food was so good and the service was fabulous. …
The food was definitely pleasing to the taste. The service was top notch. The ambiance was nice and exotic to the eye (definitely for picture taking). But let's get into detail. The parking is quite scarce, unless you go to pay for parking in the area (I was lucky to find it in front of the restaurant). They serve in portions. So either advantage to dine appetizer, main course, and then dessert. Or choose to dine with two main courses with drinks. I give this place a 4 star for food due to not having to enjoy the full menu, but a good start by taste alone. Intimacy for dining and ambiance is reflected to dark backgrounds with blue hue lighting. Especially with circular booths by the wall for either 2 or more to a party. Service is very attentive to enjoy the experience of the establishment. For this establishment, consistency is key and they hold it dearly. I'm looking forward to another visit on the future.
It is hard to find the place that has Seafood Bisque Soup and sushi at the same place. I order delivery this time. In the past if I have a chance to go out I always go to eat at the restaurant but during busy weekday, it is more convenient for me to just order out. Food came quickly and delicious.

I came here on Valentine’s Day after having tried it as takeout and was really excited to experience it in person. A few things stood out right away. First, the atmosphere is a bit odd. The photos explain it better, but it feels kind of tacky. Not a dealbreaker on its own, but definitely noticeable. There were also a lot of kids running around, which was unexpected. As for the food, I was pretty disappointed. It’s not bad sushi, but the quality feels closer to what you’d get at an all-you-can-eat place. To be specific, the rice didn’t seem fully cooked or properly seasoned. The fish itself was actually quite good, but sushi is mostly about the rice, and that part really missed the mark for me. Overall, I wouldn’t say it’s terrible, but it’s not a place I’ll be going back to or ordering from again. The quality also seems a bit erratic compared to when I first tried it, which makes it hard to rely on
It’s a beautiful space with comfortable booths and romantic tables and subdued yet colorful lighting and beautiful corridors and clean spacious bathrooms. It lends itself well for a big youthful party grabbing a dinner after exploring Williamsburg. It is NOT the place if you want to get quality Japanese-inspired food. I will give you two examples that will hopefully give you a clue - - crab cakes are made using canned crab. In other words you can make this crab cake yourself by just buying a can of ‘Bumble Bee White Crab Meat’ at Stop and Shop for $3.99 and baking it. - the rice in all sushi rolls is fridge-cold, making them hard, ruining the texture and dulling flavor. No knowledgeable sushi chef would serve them that way
I recently dined at this restaurant, and while it had its moments, I left feeling a bit underwhelmed. We ordered two entrees, two appetizers, two desserts, and two cocktails for $150. While the food was decent, I couldn’t help but feel that the prices were a bit steep for what we received. They also charge $8 for bottled water, which felt excessive, especially considering the already high price of the meal. The tip was included, but the service still felt a little off. The biggest downside was the service. The staff seemed overly eager to clear our table, almost to the point of rushing us. Every time we took a bite, it felt like someone was standing by, waiting to take our plates away. We hadn’t even been there an hour when this started, which made for an uncomfortable dining experience. The staff was attentive, but it came across as more of a pressure to move us along rather than a desire to make us feel comfortable and enjoy our meal. On a positive note, the drinks were fantastic, and the restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful. It’s definitely a place that prioritizes aesthetic, but unfortunately, the overall experience didn’t quite live up to the hype or the price tag.

Waiter rushed to take our order, without bringing everything to the table and also didn’t make sure we got everything. She left the shift without saying good bye she’s leaving or anything we asked several other waiters for our server and they told us she left for the night. As we’re eating the new waiters just start cleaning the table without asking us if we’re done just taking everything away, why not ask if you could take the dishes off the table ? If you see people eating & still drinking why do you think it’s okay to just grab. Got the check & it was 5 of us at the table, menu & website clearly says 18% gratuity added to a party of 6, when we received the check it was automatically added but it was 5 of us. Spoke to manager and he had a nasty attitude about the situation, they did not deserve 18% of gratuity.
