Delicious food and nice service. Had the curry soup which was so full of flavor it was ridiculous. Also had the banh xeo which was perfect flavor and texture. Spent a month in Vietnam so have experienced the country’s food first hand and have to say was impressed by this resto. Excited to come back!
The pho with rare steak is amazing and the crispy calamari appetizer is also delicious! The staff is very friendly and it's a quiet little restaurant that is nice for a relaxing dinner.
Ha Noi in Brooklyn hit me like a surprise vacation. The food was incredible, comforting, sharp, and perfectly balanced. I ordered the BBQ pho, and it might be the best bowl I’ve ever had. The broth was rich, the meat smoky, and the noodles held together beautifully. My partner finished hers fast enough to prove I wasn’t exaggerating. And then there’s the bathroom. Anthony Bourdain once said, “I won’t eat in a restaurant with filthy bathrooms. They let you see the bathrooms. If they can’t keep those clean, imagine what the kitchen looks like.” Ha Noi’s was spotless. That kind of care tells you everything about how they run the place. I’d go back tomorrow without hesitation.
Delicious pho and plenty of vegetarian options! There’a indoor and outdoor seating. Service is friendly and the vibe is very relaxed. Good for dine and take out (if you live nearby).
There simply aren't enough great words to describe the love that goes into the food and is showered on patrons at Ha Noi. The pho is always super fresh, piping hot, and so flavorful. The beef rolls are so tendered and delightfully grilled. The green papaya salad was perfectly spiced. The pineapple fried rice was slightly sweet and savory and simple. Adding the shrimp was a nice option to get some protein with the carbs! The heat of the beef sate builds as you eat it and warms the tongue so nicely, and the veggies in it retain their crispness. The noodles with beef were yummy, as well. And I can't say enough about the warmth and kindness of the staff! Grace is such a beautiful human! If ever a name matched the person, this one absolutely did! Really lovely to be able to sit outside when it's nice out.
First time trying Vietnamese food and Ha Noi gave me a great experience!! The service was 10/10 and so was the atmosphere! The garlic fried rice was devineeee!!! I might be be dreaming about it 🥵 Update: came back to try some more dishes! flavors were immaculate! the shrimp with special sate sauce is so good!! Ohhh and the calamari too!!
Food was amazing. Service was perfect as well. I went on a Friday afternoon while everyone was at work. The food arrived fast and tasted delicious. The waiters were helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this place for a sit down lunch. Atmosphere was very calming. Perfect place to sit down and chat with your friends and family. The decorations fit perfectly into the theme of the restaurant. Pure Vietnamese food no lies told. Subway is a few feet away so it’s very accessible and buses run in the area. Location is perfect.
Fantastic Park Slope Vietnamese, been to several Vietnamese places in the area and this is my new favorite. Good competent hard-working staff, nice menu and good food. Had the beef rolls and pork dumplings as appetizers, both were fresh, perfectly cooked and nicely spiced. We all had Pho as main meals along with a side of barbecued pork, everything about the Pho's were outstanding. Excellent broth, nice rare steak, brisket, tripe, chicken and other meats all fantastic. We'll be back to try the rest of their extensive menu.
Fresh young coconut milk served in 🥥 shell, with a tiny umbrella... yes please! First time visiting this Vietnamese place and the tastes were outstanding. Hospitality was very pleasant and the food came out super quick. We ordered Mango Salad, Avocado Salad, Beef w/ Lemongrass, Vegetarian Stir Fry and steamy Jasmine Rice. Note to self: Order papaya salad next time as well as the hot, sizzling Curry Beef (bo um cari) skillet that passed our table while we enjoyed our meal! Good lord that smelled good! OH and the coffee flan 🍮 We will definitely keep this spot in mind on our next trip to NYC 🇻🇳 Thơm Ngon!
This place is fantastic. We came here after a walk since we live nearby. The shrimp with mixed vegetables and chicken with curry. It was fantastic and the rice is just sufficient. The food was more than enough. We spent 20 per person including our vietnamese iced coffee. The staff are so friendly and nice. The food is fresh and delicious. It's good food.
Solid 4/5! It’s a tiny spot - but if you can snag a table, recommend the lemongrass wings for sure! Also got the bun cha pork noodles (not my favorite but good if you like fish sauce/tangy flavors), classic beef pho (so good I finished the whole bowl)! I liked the open kitchen concept. The side of pickled garlic and chilli sauce is pretty good!
This place is known for its pho and I concur. It's very good. We enjoyed it a lot. The flavors were there and the services is very friendly.
This place has a unique interior, and the staff are friendly. It’s a great spot for individuals or families with children, and the dishes are delicious and home style. We’ve got a pho and steamed angel hair noodles. Also ordered a coffee flan for dessert which was rich and dense but a bit too sweet of the flan itself however when paired each bite well with the coffee topping, it balanced out the sweetness perfectly!
The purpose of this review is not to hate or harm this restaurant in any way, shape, or form. That being said, I hope you take this review as an informative review. Atmosphere: A pretty spacious place, with a good number of tables in and out. However, I would say that seating inside the restaurant is best since there are many flies around the front outdoor area. The decor inside the restaurant is well thought out, and it is clean for the most part. Service: I won't generalize the poor service I experienced from one of the waitresses. However, it should be nice if all of them gave the same good service. My waitress literally forgot to give me my utensils when she placed my order in the table. I had to ask her for utensils and later on I even had to ask for extra napkins. Food: I honestly think there's a combination of good food and not so good on their menu. I ordered the Ginger Fried Rice and the Tofu Vietnamese Sandwich. The Ginger Fried Rice was lacking flavor and most importantly, it was lacking cleaner shrimp. They did not properly remove the insides of the shrimps. A restaurant with the kind of level they want to set should be able to serve de-veined shrimp. The Tofu Vietnamese Sandwich was pretty good. Price: Prices can vary from fair to high depending on the food quality.
Last time I order from here! One of our dishes was just bad water spinach and my wife got sick later in the evening from something in the meal. When we called to let them know as long time customers they just kinda said oh sorry and that’s it. No offer to credit me back for the bad dish etc as a long time customer the quality of food and customer service has gone down while prices have doubled in 4yrs lol. Done!
Atmosphere was beautiful, staff was amazing but the food was not appealing.. The chicken was very rubbery, like calamari consistency and the rice had old dry basil with hard shrimps..We asked for extra egg and they gave us pieces The dishes didn't come with rice on the side as normal Vietnamese restaurants I've been to does. They actually charge $2-$3 more for rice.
