My favorite “go to” restaurant in Park Slope. The food is always great and not pricey. There are always Specials. There’s always great music playing softly…Oldies, Frank Sinatra or R&B. I can enjoy it and relax while enjoying my meal. The service is also great. All of the waiters are good but Armando always delivers. He brings menu’s, drinks etc., as soon as one sits…And he comes back often to see if anything else is needed. All In all…great place with great service. Ibon

We had Armando as our server and as always, he provided great service. Gave us really good recommendations and I had the daily special - roasted chicken soup with vegetables and rice. It was what I needed after a cold day.

La Villa is a sunday night family dinner favorite. My parents found this place in the 90s and is has continued to be one of our absolute go tos for cozy Italian food. We always get a calzone, the ravioli (if they have it), the balsamic chicken, and if we are lucky end the meal with the house made tiramisu. We always call ahead of time if they have any tiramisu left that day because it is what we look forward to most when we go for dinner. Definitely check out the specials as well they are usually a hit!

My 8 year old said “I can’t explain how delicious this food is. The pizza is 10/10, and if you ever come here, try the zepolis!” Ask for Victor. He was terrific and made our experience that much better. It’s definitely worth the trouble to find a parking spot.

One of my favorite places in the neighborhood! We been here many times over the years with family & friends & they love it to. My favorite pizza is Prosciutto e Rochetta and for dessert Affogato, you won’t regret it! New favorite is the Fried Calamari & they give you as complementary a focaccia bread which is crunchy on the outside and soft in the inside. The staff is super friendly & the food is delicious, amazing with great quality! You won’t regret eating here is a great experience!

Came here for dinner and the food and service was excellent. We were accompanied by great a server named Armando. He recommended better dishes than we ordered (we asked) He continued to check in with us, making sure everything was perfect . Great experience

12/21/24 back for dinner. I should have read my review first... Ha! I had the Rotini (fusili) Bolognese, it was good, as usual. 3/29/23 it was a nice day, so we took the walk. I had orechette Bolognese and split a calzone. Yeah still great! 3/31/22 finally back here for a meal. I had fusili w/Bolognese. It was good. The focaccia is still good as well. 2018 ? Back for more, pappardelle alla bolognese, it was good. 2017 ? A very nice place with attentive servers. Really really good food and fairly priced. Several families enjoying lunch while we were there. Somehow my order got mixed up, not a big deal and I was perfectly happy to eat the slightly different dish that was placed in front of me. But our waiter insisted that he bring me the correct dish and gave me the first one to take home. That was nice and I was impressed with both dishes! Good flavors and ingredients. I will certainly return, so, thanks to all there. Please check this place out :)

Freddy was fabulous. He made sure we never ran out of that delicious onion bread. Omg. Best bread EVER!!!!!! We had spaghetti bolognese with meatball entree and penne vodka. Both were outstanding. Short wait time. Super clean. Good music and atmosphere. Cant wait to go back.

Sit down dinner in Park Slope, no reservations required. The food and service was excellent. Our server Victor was great. They offer indoor and outdoor seating.

Everything was soaked with oil. We ordered three things: margarita pizza, the beet salad, and fried zucchini. The fried zucchini was unfortunately the least oily of the three. Our plates had dots of oil by the end of our meal, which we couldn’t come close to finishing. Sadly, will not be returning. The service was great, and the atmosphere was nice.

I went here on New Year's day and it totally ruined the start to the year! While the food was ok, the hygiene standards and service was really really bad. My pizza had a strand of hair on it, and I pointed it out to the staff and asked them to give me a fresh plate. The staff didn't even apologize and didn't seem to think there was anything wrong with serving food with hair on it to customers, and the server even came to our table a couple of times after to ask how the food is. We didn't think complaining to her would go anywhere so we just left, but overall it was a horrible experience. Save your money and go elsewhere instead of eating at this unhygienic and unprofessional spot.
