I loved the spot that was here before but this is even better. One of the best interiors of any bar in Greenpoint. Bartenders are nice and they make lovely cocktails. The Happy Hour is a good deal for a well-made cocktail. Go here! Even on a weekend night, it was still enjoyable, not too crowded.

Relaxing mood lit cocktail bar with an excellent cocktail program. Had the Trade Route, Tuxedo Mask, Offshore Account, and Spiked Cider cocktails. Each were balanced and memorable in their own right. The kitchen serving food late is great and we had a chili popcorn that complimented our drinks well. Cheers to this new neighborhood cocktail bar for doing everything right. Although I didn't sample the food, I'm confident it's as amazing as everything else. I attended a birthday party upstairs, and it was a fantastic spot. The drinks were excellent, and the atmosphere, nestled in the heart of Greenpoint, was delightful.

I hosted my partner’s surprise birthday party in the upstairs private space and could not recommend Madeline’s more! Brenton and Sam were so helpful and easy to work with. On the logistics side, very responsive over email and answered my (many) questions. The different packages for private events offer a lot of optionality and there are multiple event spaces to choose from. The service was excellent all night and Brenton was checking in on us throughout the night (despite having another large event happening downstairs!). The food was delicious and the options for the larger party format were great - it offered good variety and allowed us to build a menu that worked well for our group. I would definitely recommend Madeline’s for a private party - and also a fun bar to hang out! Trivia on Tuesdays is very fun :)

My wife and I hosted out baby shower at Madeline's and we couldn't be happier. Brenton and Sam were very professional and super easy to work with. They were very accommodating when it came to the space as well as pricing on the food and drinks (both of which were amazing). We were even allowed to set up earlier than the event start time which was very helpful. The main room is a beautiful open space with tons of natural light. Everyone had a great time and everything went smoothly. Brenton and Sam are genuine nice people, the type of people that we like doing business with! We will definitely be coming back and supporting them as a local business in the future.

Madeline's has become one of our local favorites! We stumbled into Madeline's during their soft opening and were greeted with friendly staff and amazing drinks. Brenton was behind the bar and he was kind and friendly and happy to make all of our off menu cocktail requests. Since then, we've been to Madeline's at least once a week and will sure keep coming back. Last week, we celebrated my partner's birthday in the upstairs room and we had the best time. The planning was super easy and Brenton was really helpful in helping us figure out what kind of party we wanted to have, including our food and drink needs. The party was a great success. First, the upstairs room is gorgeous, all of our friends kept telling us what a wonderful spot this was. The staff was amazing and so were the food and drinks! Our guests had such a great time that one of our friends went back the next day to book the upstairs room for his engagement party. Overall, Madeline's is a wonderful cocktail bar that still feels like your neighborhood bar!

The mezz area was perfect for 30-40ish guests, and it was great to be upstairs with a semi-private space (where we could all hear eachother!) while being able to spill into the main bar area. If you go earlier it's a good date & chill hang spot to grab a couple drinks and small plates. Late night on the weekends they have a DJ and it was pretty packed.

We recently hosted our engagement party at Madeline's Greens Point, and it was absolutely perfect! The private event room was stunning. Our guests couldn't stop complimenting the ambiance. The bar team was incredible, working tirelessly to keep the drinks flowing. They crafted delicious cocktails all night long, ensuring that everyone had their favorite drinks in hand. The events team, made the entire planning process a breeze. From our initial inquiry to the night of the event, they were professional, attentive, and genuinely cared about making our day special. Their organization and attention to detail allowed us to relax and enjoy our evening without a single worry. Overall, we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a venue to host their special events!

I hosted my partner’s surprise birthday party in the upstairs private space and could not recommend Madeline’s more! Brenton and Sam were so helpful and easy to work with. On the logistics side, very responsive over email and answered my (many) questions. The different packages for private events offer a lot of optionality and there are multiple event spaces to choose from. The service was excellent all night and Brenton was checking in on us throughout the night (despite having another large event happening downstairs!). The food was delicious and the options for the larger party format were great - it offered good variety and allowed us to build a menu that worked well for our group. I would definitely recommend Madeline’s for a private party - and also a fun bar to hang out! Trivia on Tuesdays is very fun :)

It was for my birthday. And it was a fun place to go. Cocktails were great. I stuck to my tried and true. Table service was wonderful. It is a good place a gathering of sorts.

Very cute place with delish appetizer type food. Went for a networking event so that is all the food I tried. Though the drinks were also delish. Definitely worth a venture and trial, which is huge foe me to say as I don't tend to go all the way out to BK.

Hosted my birthday party here recently! Overall, I’d recommend Madeline’s as a great option in Greenpoint, particularly because you can reserve the mezzanine for a relatively low fee, and there’s no minimum. I was comfortably able to have about 35-40 people attend, too. Some more detail is below! PROS: - no minimum private area (mezzanine) in Brooklyn, which is hard to come by! - good drinks (the tomato martini was a hit) - the DJ the night we were there was fantastic - fun interior / nice ambiance - owner was quite responsive over email which made planning easier CONS: My main con is that the staff wasn’t the warmest I’ve encountered, but perhaps I caught them on an off night. When I arrived and told the host I was the birthday girl and so excited to be there, she just said something like ‘ok you’re upstairs’ - that’s it. I’m not expecting us to be best friends, but a little more enthusiasm would’ve been nice when someone chooses to celebrate their birthday at your place. Some bar staff were also a bit curt from the get-go. There might’ve been another big event that night, so maybe they were spread thin. I still had a wonderful night and would recommend!

Food bad, service great, atmosphere great

It's got a great decor and feel as you come in, but service did not match what we expected for an easy going happy hour, drinks took a while to make it to us, one of the menu items was not available and we felt that we were being passively rushed out. It's a shame has great potential, but service needs to improve to match its potential.

This is the second time i made a reservation here and the second time they didnt honor it because they had “other reservations coming in.” So if you book a table dont expect to get one.
