If you're looking for a great restaurant and space to host an event - look no further because you found a gem in Greenpoint. We wanted to find the perfect spot for a Friday night welcome party for our 100 guests as we were getting married the next day - and Madeline's blew us away. The food options were plentiful and all our guests were raving about how delicious everything was! Service was outstanding and there was absolutely no shortage of bartenders and servers. The owner of this restaurant is incredibly kind and made the experience so easy for us. He also went out of his way to just be an amazing host to us and our guests. If you want a cozy modern space with style, great service, delicious food, and just a great vibe for a night time event - this is it!

Had noticed this beautiful place since it opened, finally got a chance to try on a Sunday afternoon. The store is well designed with lots of seatings inside. Staff were superb friendly and helpful, we had short rib nachos, which comes as huge plate, despite it is under Snack on the menu, and it tastes amazingly. Highly recommend it. It also has good selection of beers, cocktails and wine. I love their draft beer. If you have space for dessert after, don't miss their unique cheesecake. A wonderful dining experience.

Really cool spot, easy to reserve mezzanine area for functions, and bartenders / ambiance were super cool. I really liked the Madeline II drink (as a tequila hater lol) and the Hibiscus Chamomile Mojito. Lowkey wish I was hungry when I went, food looked great. Bar also does a house pickle brine that they used for pickleback shots, and it was fire!

Hosted an event here for an organization - the owner was very accommodating, the staff was fantastic, the space was gorgeous. Only hearing great feedback from those who attended. Looking forward to hosting future events here as well as stopping by for a drink!! Thanks so much Brenton! :)

I hosted my birthday party at Madeline’s and it was absolutely perfect! We had the private room upstairs, which was already beautiful and didn’t require much decorating. It even had its own bar, which made it easy to keep the vibes going. The team at Madeline’s was incredibly accommodating and responsive. Planning was seamless from start to finish. I highly recommend Madeline’s for any event! The food is also amazing (definitely try the short rib nachos). My guests are still raving about the party!

The bar team was incredible, working tirelessly to keep the drinks flowing. They crafted delicious cocktails all night long, ensuring that everyone had their favorite drinks in hand. The events team, made the entire planning process a breeze. From our initial inquiry to the night of the event, they were professional, attentive, and genuinely cared about making our day special. Their organization and attention to detail allowed us to relax and enjoy our evening without a single worry. Overall, we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a venue to host their special events!

I threw a birthday party last night at Madeline's and it was a fantastic time! The vibes were perfect, every additional ask was accommodated with ease! The music, food, and drinks were top notch! It wasn't my first time going but it was my first time throwing an event there with 40 guests. The night went off without a hitch! We will be back soon.

The whole team was super gracious and accommodating to our group, and the snacks and drinks were delightful. Making the reservation was simple and easy with Brenton. I hosted my partner’s surprise birthday party in the upstairs private space and could not recommend Madeline’s more! Brenton and Sam were so helpful and easy to work with. On the logistics side, very responsive over email and answered my (many) questions. The different packages for private events offer a lot of optionality and there are multiple event spaces to choose from. The service was excellent all night and Brenton was checking in on us throughout the night (despite having another large event happening downstairs!). The food was delicious and the options for the larger party format were great - it offered good variety and allowed us to build a menu that worked well for our group. I would definitely recommend Madeline’s for a private party - and also a fun bar to hang out! Trivia on Tuesdays is very fun :)

PROS: - no minimum private area (mezzanine) in Brooklyn, which is hard to come by! - good drinks (the tomato martini was a hit) - the DJ the night we were there was fantastic - fun interior / nice ambiance - owner was quite responsive over email which made planning easier CONS: My main con is that the staff wasn’t the warmest I’ve encountered, but perhaps I caught them on an off night. When I arrived and told the host I was the birthday girl and so excited to be there, she just said something like ‘ok you’re upstairs’ - that’s it. I’m not expecting us to be best friends, but a little more enthusiasm would’ve been nice when someone chooses to celebrate their birthday at your place. Some bar staff were also a bit curt from the get-go. There might’ve been another big event that night, so maybe they were spread thin. I still had a wonderful night and would recommend!
