My dentist is around the corner on 813 Nostrand Ave Painless dental.After I leave the dentist it's a must to purchase Salmon with steam vegetables. The female handler puts on clean disposable gloves and rinse the Salmon off before placing in the basket. Then you choose your vegetable tray small or large. Season your food yourself with the varieties of seasoning on the counter. It's delicious. Plus rest of raw fish to buy is fresh and cleaned for dinner preparation. You have the choice of steam or fried. All fish chosen are steamed or fried fresh. Never in advance. I lived in Canarsie. Their food definitely pleases the appetite. Plus, I ate after having a root canal.

Driving to work, I passed this corner fish spot. Seen it for a few years but never had a chance to stop by or order. I'm guessing this is new management and ownership as the outside looks a little different than I used to see in past. I found a parking right out front and walked in, and i was pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness and fresh assortment of fish and seafood. Looking at the menu, was surprised to see the variations of entrees and a big plus the affordable pricing. Now ordering was difficult, because I literally wanted everything...but we ended up picking the steamed Bronzini with shrimp and veggies, and added a lobster tail for $6 bucks. Then I got greedy and ordered a fried combo of porgy, scallops, whiting and fries for $13 bucks. Got 2 Mexican cokes and Mexican fanta with our meal, came to the office and couldn't wait to try as it smelled so amazing in my car. Upon getting to the office, we devoured the dishes immediately. The bronzino was perfectly cooked with the most intense flavors, the mixed veggies literally had everything you could think of a vegetable market from cabbage, yams, okra, sweet potatoes, and more! The shrimp and lobster tail was perfect with a side of butter. The fried platter was amazing as well with perfect blend of spices and crisp! Definitely will be ordering this coming week for the staff!! 5 stars plus 2 michelin stars for the chef!

This has been my go-to local fish market for a decade. The proprietor and his family are so friendly, and their prices are really good. Nice variety of fish and seafood, tailored to the tastes of the local community. Difficult to find the more expensive fishes like tuna, sea bass, cod, etc but their offerings of salmon, tilapia, branzino, blue fish, snapper, whiting and many others are ample and good.

Steamed fish and vegetables with your own seasonings, just perfect but the price has gone up quite a bit from the first time I started purchasing at this location I am have to reconsider shopping there

This is a decent spot. Youre able to pick fresh seafood and have it made as you wait. It's not a dine in you pick everything you'd like to eat, you season it yourself, wait about 15mins for steam or fried, and take it on home & dig in lol

Absolutely disgusting. I asked that they clean out my blue crabs and they didn't even after charging the extra fee to clean it . Went back for a refund and they refused. Horrible customer service. Dirty blue crabs. The meat wasn't fresh in the crab very brown & of course they topped it off with burnt corn.

Not my first time ordering but definitely my last, Ordered my normal uber eats order. Blue crabs and shrimp I don’t know if it’s cause they were about to close but my food wasn’t cooked properly and I ended up in the hospital last night with food poisoning.
