Food is great, the service is fantastic and the atmosphere is very pleasant. The Station was a regular summer time hangout. Though inside dining is closed because of Covid, I still can enjoy the food for takeout and the frozay drinks, "that joint got a little bite to it." Lol.....

This Young Lady has been enterprising since she was a teenager. As a classmate and friend over the years, watching her flourish to the Business Woman she is today, I must say I am absolutely proud and excited for her trajectory. Humble at heart* classy in personality and confidence is rooted and it reflects in her endeavors. This establishment called "Nostrand Station" might look like just another restaurant; BUT I am objectively here to tell you, my experience to enjoy it as I did was wayyyy overdue. Her Customer Centric environment welcomes you and yours into a Bklyn ambience that spells out: "Spread Love It's The Brooklyn Way!" Her staff are professional and reflective of her cultural background to welcome any patron to her History. Family, Tranquility, Purpose.The FOOD!! OMG, ordered Breakfast and Lunch. Brought in 2020 here with my husband and we had an amazing time! Nice, very chill spot. Drinks and food was amazing! If you go you have to try the honey chicken wings with season fries, you will not be disappointed. I thought I would just share and eat some of my husband food but after I ate two of his wings, i got the feeling he didn’t want to share anymore lol so I had to get my own. Drinks are very reasonable/not over priced like most bars and you can actually taste the liquor lol. Owner is super chill even popped bottles and shared with all customers to help us bring in the new yrs! I definitely will be going back very soon.

Oh man those wings taste real good. Going back for those real soon. Outdoor seating is first come first serve so just grab a seat. Nostrand Station drink, whiskey mojito was not bad. I would try it again. Seasoned fries did not fail as well. Sorry battery was low otherwise I would share photos. But I will be back.

The food is excellent. For Sunday brunch, I advise you to get there early to secure a table. It’s a small venue and is always packed with patrons. The DJ is always on point with the tunes so be prepared for a dance or 2. The service is great also and the bartenders put love behind the drinks they make. Never watered down! You’ll enjoy it there. Make sure to save 20 minutes to look for parking if you’re driving. The area is notoriously known to lack parking spots.

This is a great bar especially for after work vibes, date night, or a lil outing with friends! The drinks are soooo good and definitely strong. I recommend ordering one of their 32 oz drinks. I’m telling you after one of these your not going to need another drink. The 32oz Mega Mix frozen drink or Henny Colada are my favorite! The food was GREATTTT I tried the Jamrock Pasta which is their own spin on Rasta Pasta with Salmon was soooo good it left my mouth watering. Can’t forget about the wings, the bbq wings were probably the best wings I ever had! Definitely stop by Nostrand Station and check it out. They also offer brunch on the weekends!

GET THE SALMON EMPANADAS ! You will not be disappointed ! Good does take a minute to come out though !so if you really hungry food won’t come out for 15-20 minutes ! Totally worth the wait! Drinks were okay ! I would give 2/5

I went here for the first time it first come first serve. It was my birthday! My guest and I were treated real well by staff. Shout out to the server with the red sweater😀. He was the only 1 that came to check on us. The food was good except for the chicken & waffles. Our first round of drinks were weak. But the second round were strong (the server made sure). Our neighbors had the unlimited drinks they said drinks were weak. But overall I had a good time. I was glad to support a black owned business. Tip: please have the young servers pull up their pants and wear a belt. This don't go on downtown.

Very small space. Good DJ on the night I visited. Food for the most part was good. I had the Rasta Pasta with sweet chili shrimp. Shrimp was tasty and cooked perfectly. They put the rasta in rasta pasta as it was very spicy but delicious. Also had a taste of the sweet chili salmon empanadas and it was so good. The sweet chili wings were delicious as well. We didnt enjoy the french fries though. The drinks were alright. Maybe next time I go it will be a better experience in terms of the drinks. Overall definitely a spot to check out.

The food that I had was good. I had baked macaroni & cheese, BBQ chicken, & a salad. When I ordered my meal, the menu stated greens come with the meal, so I assumed they meant collard greens or cabbage. I also assumed, that I would get a piece of breast, thigh, or wings for bbq chicken. But I got a flat, boneless piece of chicken. I was a little surprised & disappointed, but it was tastey. When I return (which I will), I'll be sure to ask exactly what comes with my meal. The drinks were good, but could've been stronger. I also loved the Dj & music. My girlfriend & I, had a nice time. Our waitress was very friendly as well.

Smaller than expected. But the vibe was cool. 1st time going was during Cinco de mayo. They were super busy and understaffed. Buttttttt there was one guy don't remember his name... tall. Slender. He's a bartender. He actually served our table and made it right with excellent customer service since we waited a long time for our food order. The food though? It's was soooooo good! We can't wait to go back and explore the main menu!

The wait was hella long. Kinda small. Need to open the outside dining. But food and drinks was great after waiting an hour and 15mins I wanted to cry. I'd uber eats it now. So that's why 4 stars.

The food is very delicious. I get the same few dishes and they are always consistently good. There is a longer wait for the food but it's worth it. The only problem is they aren't consistent at all with the menu. Drove down there during brunch hours on a Sunday and called before I came and I was told they are only serving g one brunch item on the menu. Huge disappointment. It reminded me of why I haven't been there in a while. If items are on a menu then they should be served as expected. Huge disappointment. Same thing happened 3 years ago and I see that it is still happening now. Also they would benefit from opening up the menu and serving brunch items all day long but they have a cut off time. The people here are nice and respectful but the bartender waits tables as well as bartender and it's usually just him. I would hate to see this place close because food is awesome but Everytime I come the crown is smaller and smaller. Sunday brunch it was just me and one other table

Cool, black-owned 👏 neighborhood spot. Friendly staff, bar foods are cool, especially during ball games. Their brunch is really good, and I think they offer hookah, too. Music is often a bit loud, but something to just roll with.

Decent atmosphere and music . I highly recommend going during happy hour to avoid paying regular prices. Happy hour is Monday-Friday 3-7pm. I ordered chicken pasta which it was good but SPICY. My boo ordered salmon and he said it was really good but also spicy. Cocktails: frozen rum punch and margarita were good Service: It was decent but you will have to request to print out a receipt I will definitely return during happy hour or brunch.

What can i say, the food is amazing seasoning is on point. Drinks were pretty and strong love the real pieces of fruits in it. DJ is live and usually has good choices, projector and tv play sports. Two bathrooms has hand dryers, cozy spot interior. Service was friendly and welcoming.

I came here in March for my friends bday. It was a busy Saturday. At 7pm the wait time took a while, maybe around 45mins. So I went across the street to another bar to kill time. Anyway back the review 😅😅. The food, drinks and vibes were amazing!!!! The food was brought out quickly and it was super tasty. The drinks had me feeling myself lol. I loved that this place played current music. It was moneybagg to, pop smoke, lil baby that was spinning that night. So the vibes were dope. I always recommend this spot to people if they looking to for a chill spot with good food and drinks. Just word of advice come early if you can (I tried to come back a month later around 6pm on a Saturday and they said there were multiple parties so I could only order food to go. I ended up doing that and was forced to order food with my drink. So I ordered fries and the kitchen was backed up. So my drink took 40 mins because I had to wait for fries)

This is a cool spot to go to with your friends or either your man or a woman they have a live DJ after a certain time in the evening they should add a few more items to their list when you’re selling food other than that this is a nice clean atmosphere to go relax and have a drink they do not have much of a choice on the menu.

Long wait time depending on when you go. The food is GOOD but I would prefer a house made tartar sauce to accompany the fish. They have a good playlist while you wait on your food and the drinks got me lit but the presentation was way better the first time I came here. I’d still come again even though we waited a while for our food and drinks. Get the pasta with sweet chili!!!!

This place seems to be a work in progress. Like they're just getting things up and running. Customer service wasn't good. Greeted at the door, asked what we need? Asked for a table and waited quite a bit to order drinks. Drinks took a while to come out. Which is weird since they weren't selling anymore food. Hopefully, they get better with time.

It's a decent spot. The service is slow 🐌 because they add 20 percent to every check which is great for the server, but means they are not motivated to create an experience for you. The atmosphere was cool. The food was a miss for me. But I am sure some folks dig it. All in all. I would not go back

i was sat immediately, which was nice, but towards the back of the restaurant, so my service was less than attentive. the music was so extremely loud that we were screaming at our waiter, which made the interaction poor. my food took about 35 minutes, was hot when it got to me, and tasted okay. nothing to rave about, but the chicken was thin and cooked evenly, and the bread was fluffy so that was nice, and my drink was nice and strong so that’s also a plus. i’d recommend this place for a group that wants to chill or dance, not socialize, because you won’t be able to hear each other; very nice music though.

Me and one of my favs stopped in for some quick late night grub on a Tuesday. We both grabbed street parking right in front and headed inside. There was no wait, with a few tables occupied by whom was observed to be regulars. We grabbed a table and was promptly helped. The square footage is a comfortable size and they have large windows that open up to the street. Our orders were Shrimp Tacos and Fish & Chips. Both arrived with minimal wait. Fries were crisp and fluffy and fish was golden brown and flaky. The fish was a pinch too salty for me but good. I failed to snap pics of everything because it was late and we were focused on tackling the hunger. Nonetheless food and service was good, looking forward to my return when in the area. Just A Note: They have daily specials like “Taco Tuesday” some specials come with drinks. They do run out quick so arrive early.

I'm sure everyone was trying their best but the food service was extremely slow. The kitchen that they are working out of is small so I'll give them slight grace for that. I went for brunch. Get seated at 1:30ish and didn't get my food until 3:30ish. Once I got it, I was disappointed. My waffle was hard and way too sweet. The only thing I could stomach was the chicken. They had a DJ booth set up but it was just somebody's phone on the aux. The staff was nice but you could tell they needed more help.

Drinks are strong and good but do not get the tacos. The chicken taco is a stride strip within a tortilla. That’s ghetto as hell in my opinion. Also, the wings are very smaller than normal. Seasoned fries are ok, they aren’t really seasoned. Empanadas are just meat in a dough and fried. They need more flavored food but eh. Customer service was good at least.

Went to this spot on 3/20/21. The positives were that the food and drinks were good, although the menu has about 15 items on there. Now here's where it goes left. The NEGATIVES... was only able to take 3 bites of my fish sandwich because a huge brawl broke out. Tables tossed, and glasses being thrown. This place is entirely too small, and security/management allowed people to pack the waiting area, so obviously social distancing wasn't of importance. The guys fighting were forced outside, but stayed out front on there phones, so we already knew what that meant. Needless to say m party of 7 broke out quickly. This place is for people 19-25. I didn't even know that City Girls had that many songs, because it seemed as if we were hearing the same song. Lol... So if you're an actual adult, try the food, but get it on a takeout. I don't recommend grown people to sit down and eat here.

4 and a half hours to be seated and I am not exaggerating . I came for brunch and ended up having dinner. The drinks are very good and so is the food but it’s literally like 6 items to choose from all pretty basic at that . What some don’t realize it’s so small only holds 19 people . So with that being said they really need to offer a time span for how long someone can sit & then they don’t do reservations on top of that . It’s a hot mess and no structure . Prolly won’t come back it’s NYC there’s a million places just like this it’s not even worth it .

NO! So I visited this place sometime in July during lunch time on a Saturday. The drinks were okay (the names don’t match what’s given) The jerk chicken empanadas appetizers was great but the meal, NO. I had the chicken and waffles, HORRIBLE. The waiter was cool. But they take their own tip! SMH. Never again. Loud music no crowd.

Wait TIME: Let's start off with the line outside.. I waited 45 mins before someone came outside to inform us they were wrapping up an event to which they then allowed other patrons to enter before despite there being a line and they have a no reservation policy. Upon entry they had you write down ur info and took your temperature. (The machine malfunctioned a couple of times to which the front end allowed the patron to proceed despite not being able to capture her temperature.) At least they adhere to 19 ppl for indoor dining. Seating:I was seated really quickly. Table for 1 pls. I was seated in the corner next to the speaker but at least I had a window to looked out of. Service: I waited 10 mins before someone handed me a menu and another 30 before someone came to take my order. I felt like I keep playing a waiting game for my entire experience. Service is beyond subpar. In actuality it's trash to the umpteenth power. Ambiance/Music: If you're looking for a loud brunch spot then this is definitely the place but despite the noise level at least they had a good brunch music selection. Drinks/Food: I wasn't given any water, cutlery.. I had to wait yet again, I did notice other patrons who arrived after me being served so that baffled me to why I couldn't at least been served some water or the bottomless that was apart of my meal.. Sigh.. In total between the time between ordering and recieving my drinks to get served it was about 15 mins. When the Sangria arrived it was warm not chilled and it was very strong (it had my throat burning and my eyes twitching) if you like strong then this is the place to be. I then had to wait over 1:10 hr from the time my drink arrived to when my food arrived, in the mean time I was checked upon once to ask if I was ok. Sigh.. at this point I feel like I could've traveled to the city ate and be on my way back home. Btw the other patrons who came after me and ordered after me their food came before mine. I mean its just eggs and french toast. Which end up being wonder bread and banana... taste good but 🤷🏽‍♀️ nothing to write home about but enough to write a review tho. Overall: I wouldn't recommend coming here unless you want to wait damn near 3 hours to get some eggs n french toast and some insipid warm Sangria.. I wonder how bottomless is the brunch if they only bring one mini pitcher of drink.🙄 welp it  cost me $50 of a $35 dollar brunch and about 3.5 hrs wasted.. Do u know what was speedy tho??? THE CHECK, it came quickly at about 15 seconds after I asked for it. HOPEFULLY they get their customer service thing together but i wouldn't hold my breath.

Saturday night was a fiasco. My friends and I experienced an all out brawl between staff and patrons outside. Tables were tossed. No one checked on us and my friend was injured as we tried to run for cover. To add insult to injury, the restaurant called my friend asking for payment. They didn’t ask if we were okay. They didn’t offer any kind of restitution or an apology.

If I could give 0 stars I would...... THE WORST EXPERIENCE...... I got there and waited outside for over 2 hours. No one ever called my number that they requested when I put my name on the waiting list. After much frustration and aggravation..... I checked the list and there were people that came after me that had been seated before me. They never apologized. All they said when I realized the error on their part was “Wow” and a blank stare then they told me it would be another 30minutes. I left.

This place is absolutely a 0/10 they aren’t staffed enough to be attentive. Unless you’re sitting directly at the bar to get better service. I waited at my table for about 20 minutes before they took my order then another 30 to even receive my bill. The food was unlovely wings were extra breaded you ate more breading than chicken . Overall wouldn’t recommend .

I really really wanted to love this place but the service was horrendous! I came all the way from Queens to support this establishment and it was a complete let down. My husband and i went for brunch and we were told the wait was an hour ok cool no problem, they took my number and said they would call with an update. An hour and a half later we get a call that it will be 45 more minutes. Finally we get a call that our table was ready! We go in and there’s confusion so i say “ you called me and said my table is ready” they sit us at a counter by the window and completely forgot about us! 30 minutes sitting and no one introduced themselves or took our order! I had to angrily wave some one down and got attitude! The nerve ! The waitress takes our order brings the drinks and disappears for another 30 minutes! I had to once again wave someone down to ask about our food! We ordered chicken and waffles! Nothing complicated and it took forever!! The food was basic and not worth the headache. I will never visit this establishment again. GET IT TOGETHER NOSTRAND STATION!

They opened at 1pm on Saturday, we showed up at 1:20pm requested a table for 3. Gave my number, was told it's an hour wait and they'll text when a table is ready. Go to my car, an hour passes. We go back and they seated 5 other groups, skipped us, and made us wait an extra 15mins. They offered a pitcher of water, never got it. Food wasn't worth the price, small portions. Drinks were decent but not worth the price.

The wait time is terrible!!! Over 2 hours for simple food such as tacos or chicken empanadas is ridiculous ! 95% of the time they never have the best dish there which are the chicken empanadas ! There is no organization ! You wait on one line outside the restaurant ! It was over an hour of standing in 30 degree weather waiting for a table inside before the woman at the take out window decided to start asking people if they wanted to do take out orders ! Then another hour and a half wait to receive Tacos ! The food is good but not worth the wait in the cold.

For $45 brunch, there's no reason why I should be eating with plastic utensils or drinking from disposable cups. The interior was all black and not very inviting for brunch. The French toast was good, but it was a far cry from bananas foster because the fruit wasn't carmalized. I expected the slices to be think and fluffy, but they were not. I will not be coming back.

Me and my pregnant best friend went, it took us an half hour just to reserve seats. We were told it was an hour wait to be seated. We waited about 2 hours in the cold to be seated before we decided to go somewhere else. Keep in mind that we reserving tables, they take your name and number. They never called me.

Didn't get to enjoy it because the earlier party refused to leave. I haven't heard anything bad about this place but also nothing good; thought that night would be my time to get the full experience. We were all disappointed. I left after 12 minutes; stopped at Crown Fried next door (which was helpful) and we walked home.

I would never come back here again, the owner was rude and disgusting. The whole time he was drinking with his friends not paying any attention to the customers, and then had the audacity to catch a attitude . Please I do not recommend this place AT ALL as a community we have to do better !

Finally visited after the hype & this place is not it. Went to catch up with a friend for happy hour. It wasn’t even busy and no one was there to greet us or sit us. They took forever to acknowledge us to order and then were forgetting drinks. The waiter then left to the store and we had no idea so we had to get up and walk to the bar to order what we wanted. They automatically include tip but don’t tell you. They didn’t let us see the bill customer service is definitely lacking. Felt neglected I don’t know if it’s a race thing but won’t be going back and don’t recommend.

I missed choir practice to get here by 6:45pm and make their happy hour which is until 7pm (according to Instagram and their website). However, when I got there the staff explained that I wouldn’t be charged happy hour prices being that the specials were “sold out”, however they were still serving tacos (a happy hour item) just not for the discounted price… so they weren’t “sold out” they just cut the happy hour prices at 6:45pm.

I went to this location w 3 other people. We all ordered the bottomless brunch. Everyone got their food after waiting an hour. This was only 2 hrs after they opened. There was one host, one server, & about 3 bud boys. By the time I got my food all of my friends had finished eating. I asked them about 5 different times and they never got back to with any information. I asked at the end if I could get a discount for the horrible service and all they had to offer me was a free drink. Obviously I up and left. Would not recommend. Wait time is terrible & service could’ve definitely been better. To the business owner please do better

Extremely disappointed with the service. We waited over 10 minutes just to be greeted, and the place is not crowded at all only three people at the bar and two occupied tables. We ordered a hookah, which took about 15 minutes to come out. When it finally arrived, the service continued to be careless. Our table had three people, yet the waiter brought only one cup of water. After asking for two more, he returned with just one. We had to ask again for the third cup, which still didn’t come from him. When we asked for someone to check the hookah because it was too harsh (more coal than shisha), the waiter responded with an attitude and then ignored us completely. Thankfully, the bartender stepped in, tried the hookah herself, and agreed it was too harsh. She redid it for us, which we appreciated. She also ended up bringing the third cup of water that our waiter never did. Throughout our entire visit, the waiter never checked on us…not once. The lack of attentiveness, poor attitude, and overall disorganized service ruined the experience. I will not be returning.

First thing off the bat I came in w my friend didn’t get seated so we just sat anywhere, they took forever to take our order. The music playing was soo loud I couldn’t even hear myself talk. The frozen rum punch was crazy strong idk if that’s a good thing. They got my order wrong and my friends order wrong gave her chicken instead of the fish she ordered. The chicken sandwich tasted funny. Tasted frozen still I literally spit it out. It’s so unfortunate cus I wanted to like this place but it’s a no for me .

A place with a lot of potential. Their drink selection is promising with the frozen options. When it comes to the food there are improvements that need to be made. Wait time for brunch selections are an hour +. When our food arrived we noticed the portion control was not consistent. Other tables had more or less on their plate. The chicken tenders/strips and waffles (chicken tenders/strips were hard and over cooked, the waffles were mushy and had the consistency of frozen waffles). Once again this place has a lot of potential, and the drinks were good.
