This place food is so good and friendly. This is one of best place to spend my 13 birthday. Also the chef was very funny, kind and tiny handsome. It very clean and waiter was so nice.
Had a great experience here, the restaurant was very clean, the atmosphere is quaint with a magical feeling..pretty lights and and pretty women.... service was on point, they regularly checked on you without having a smothering effect. Last but not least the food was great, cooked perfectly and no flavor overpowered the other...i enjoyed this establishment with my kids and grandson... thank you MoMo for a great experience
This has always been my favorite place to visit for celebrating birthdays. The staff are attentive and friendly, the food is delicious, and I always enjoy when they cook in front of you. Just recently I decided to try their Amazing Roll, as I’ve lately been really into sushi, and I absolutely loved it. My mother tried it, and was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. Only thing is I wish there were more dessert options besides the fries oreos for the birthday surprise. Other than that, I have no other criticism 🙏🏽
Almost ten years & the food & service is always amazing. If you drive they give yoh a free parking lot voucher, have the man of the family drop everyone off & park the vehicle & return. Two blocks away. No need to look for a park.
Had an amazing time at Momo with my family! The hibachi experience was so much fun and the chef kept everyone entertained while making the food. The steak and shrimp were delicious, and the fried rice was some of the best I’ve had. The staff were super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. The place was clean, and food delicious which made the whole night super fun. I’d definitely recommend Momo if you’re in the area and want some hibachi.
Awesome food and atmosphere. Plenty of things to choose from the menu. A lot of cocktails and liquor for you heavy drinkers!! Hibachi experience was awesome. The. Chef was hilarious and friendly!! The waiter/waitress were extremely friendly! Overall great experience. Prices were pretty cheap compare to other competitors. Street parking only.
Really nice place came here to celebrate my son birthday. Staff is very much waiting on you alot. They dont miss a beat lol. Didn't like the standing around from other staff like they were watching us. One thing I know I wouldn't entertain when I go back is that they had a few other people at our table. I get it but I dont like that. When at Bennihana we had our own chef table no sharing. Oh amd if you celebrate your bday they have a guy go and bang some type of drum on the wall.
The restaurant shares the location of the former historic Lundy's seafood restaurant. It is located in the Sheepshead Bay section of Brooklyn. I ordered the salmon bento box with a side salad. It included fried rice, 3 shumai and a California roll. It was very good with a generous portion of fried rice. I added an eel avocado roll and spicy tuna roll. Both were well-prepared. The restaurant has a bar in the front and tables around hibachi chefs who prepare your hibachi dinner. The staff is friendly and courteous.
Came in on a whim and wasn't disappointed. Food and service was great, our cook was engaged and had a few tricks I've never seen. Staff was friendly and overall everything was delicious. Only call out was the yum yum sauce was a bit watery, but overall great food. They also have a birthday gong!
Came for my a family birthday celebration. Felt kinda rushed it was 8pm. Closing time is 10 pm, so I feel like 2 hours was enough time. Our server didn't understand our request. Our food was jus tossed on the plate. Typical things like the sauces and tableware I had to request. Food was tasty but service needs improvement. As you can see in the photo you can't distinguish the food and I didn't ask for noodles I asked for rice. The roll was amazing and the tempora was good as well. Just the hibachi part was not so good
The servers there rush you, literally on top of you to get you out so the next group can sit in & eat, I understand it’s Hibachi but for the price you pay, it’s not worth it. Once, I told them I wanted 2 bowls of rice & the server said oh no, 1 bowl is good for you, you a big man; I was so furious & humiliated, I personally spoke to the owner who apologized & gave me 2 free mini bottles of Japanese wine which I never touched not forgetting the fact that you just brushed it off as if nothing because she still was serving. After that you won’t see my money ever again, I can only imagine what they say about everyone else who goes there to eat. There’s never any parking & if there is any parking, it’s a hassle. The cocktail drinks are not good at all, always bland like slush with alcohol, barely any flavor. They add gratuity to the bill which is an insult, let me tip what I want to tip according to the way I’m treated & the service we received. The owner clearly doesn’t care but I found a new place called DD Soup & Dumpling located at 111 Jericho Turnpike, Jericho, NY which has parking & they are not overpriced & they don’t charge gratuity & they actually give you money back. Last time I spent $200 there for a family of 6 & we all ate really good food & they gave me back $20 towards my next visit…they have 4.9 stars on google review. These Asian people at DD Soup & Dumpling really treat you with love, dignity & respect. You won’t be disappointed. Don’t continue to get cheated & frustrated with Momo Hibachi because it’s close or in Brooklyn, take the drive to DD Soup & Dumpling where you’ll thank me later, I promise you.
We came here to celebrate my daughter’s birthday and were seated right away with no wait, which we appreciated. We’ve been here before and always had great experiences, so we were expecting the same this time — unfortunately, it was very disappointing. We sat at the hibachi table and the chef seemed like he didn’t want to be there. The cooking felt rushed, with no energy, no jokes, and none of the fun interaction that usually makes hibachi enjoyable. You could taste the rush in the food. The fried rice had a strong burned garlic flavor, my white tuna was dry and undercooked, and overall the food was not cooked thoroughly. There were seven of us, and we all felt rushed and poorly attended to. The waitress was cold, no one smiled, and the whole dinner felt quiet and uncomfortable. We noticed the other table was served sauces while we weren’t — we had to ask multiple times. They also forgot my daughter’s white rice and I had to remind them. For a birthday celebration, it felt like the staff just wanted us in and out. This was a very different experience from our previous visits. Sadly, it left a bad impression, and we won’t be returning.
Valentine’s Day ruined. Asked for a seat and understandably it was taken. Someone wasn’t happy about the request so they sat me and my girlfriend down then wipe down the table while we were seated. Table smelled like bear and was sticky after said wipe down. Left and probably won’t come back. Can get better drinks / service anywhere else. Me and my girlfriend look younger than we are so I’m not sure if that was a factor but the standards should be a little higher.
