Tip: Go for the fresh mozzarella pizza, as the sauce is reportedly better than on the traditional cheese pizza. Outdoor seating is available in warm weather.

It is impossible for me to walk past this pizzeria without stopping in for a slice. It is in my opinion, as a lifelong NYer, that this is the best slice in NYC. I love the sauce, the cheese, the bread is the perfect thickness. Thin but not paper thin. I always get a plain slice because it's perfect. Everything from the painting on the wall to the fountain soda, takes me back to the authentic NY pizza I grew up eating. I'm telling you, this is the best when you want an authentic original NYC slice. Yes those other "famous" pizza places are good with their wood or bricks or whatever, but give me a steel oven, a no frills slice, with the best sauce and cheese any day over those fancy places. My Little Pizzeria is a slice of nostalgia heaven for me and I hope it stays around forever.
Classic pie shop, been great for my entire lifetime. Favorite street slice in NYC
I ate some extra cheese slices, and they were well cooked and very very streachy cheese. It tasted fresh and hot from the oven and had a tender taste of cheese and sauce, ending in a great slab of bread, a signature new york slice. They also have wonderful options on their menu.
Everyone can argue this, but this is the best pizza in the area. I go there multiple times a day on some days, its that good. True NY pizza!
Been coming year for at least a decade, never disappointed best regular/ pepperoni 🍕 slice I’ve ever had! Taste n texture is always consistent , slightly thin crust never chewy made just right!!!! Seating outside n inside. Only wish there was a an updated bathroom to accommodate. They do allow patrons to use their bathroom but it’s only one toilet ( seems both workers n customers use) Generally dine in/ take out
$3.00 Slice + 50 cents/topping. I had a righteous slice with sausages & peppers, so $4.00 for a LOADED slice. It tasted even better than it looked; so good that I got another, and I was stuffed. Sure, the selections are few (no ham or pineapple = no Hawaiian Pizza), but they are generous with what they have. There are two dining areas with lots of tables AND an outdoor dining area that I spotted too late. I WILL be back for more and to post photos of the spaces. I definitely enjoyed the experience and recommend this tasty spot. Back AGAIN & AGAIN; Still Great ! ! !
If this is your only New York style pizza you get, you won't be disappointed. This is staple fare, with other options as well. In a cool part of Brooklyn, My Little Pizzeria keeps it flowing with customers in their casual eats restaurant. Order up at the counter, and take it with you while you explore the piers. This fresh, hot slice is the first I had on a four slice tour of NYC. It is my favorite (and also second least expensive) of the day.
This is our go-to local pizza spot, and it never disappoints. The pizza is great, and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Whether you are looking for a quick slice or a full pie, this is an amazing place to visit. Features high-quality, delicious pizza that consistently delivers on flavor. The staff is amazing, providing a welcoming and helpful environment. Perfect for both a quick grab-and-go slice or a sit-down family meal.
Always a good quick slice, with a few areas to sit on a nice summer day or cold winter night.
A classic New York style slice, one of the last in the area between Brooklyn Heights and Cobble Hill. Good spot for eating in with plenty of sitting space, old school vibes.
Spacious but barebones pizzeria, almost perfectly equipped to be a dine-in optional fast food venue. Menu is simple and direct, with prices more competitive than its neighbors. Food is solid and may not impress, but definitely won't disappoint.
This is a great basic NYC slice at a reasonable price. I’ve only bought slices here so I can’t speak to the whole pies or other offerings. Though they recently got rid of the fountain soda machine, they have plenty of seating and in warm weather you can’t beat their outdoor seating area - it’s pleasant and quiet.
This is so close to being five stars, especially considering the value for what you get. Got the vegetable pizza and garlic knots. The pizza was huge and loaded with veggies (not overloaded -- there's a difference!). The crust was nicely thin, but held up. The garlic knots are amazing. They're on the smaller side, though still a good deal for 6 knots. They have the perfect amount of garlic (coming from a garlic lover), were so nice and soft, and weren't overly oily. I also really appreciated that they packed them up in a paper boat, foil, and a little paper bag, rather than in some giant plastic container like too many places do. Next time I'll stop in for a plain slice and see how that goes!
Me and my daughter are just pizza joint hopping looking for good pizza. We will still be looking. Pizza is OK nor is it bad. A little on the thin side, but not to saucy or cheesy enough. I bit greasy for our liking but if you are looking for a quick bite to eat, this place is worth a try. This is just our opinion on our search for some tasty pizza while visiting the area..
Regular greesy cheap pizza, much better in the surrounding area, but it is cheap. The guy that is regularly behind the cash register is a nightmare to deal with.
Always ate here for lunch when I worked in the area. Passed by today, decided to grab a few slices. Same guy there with glasses that’s been there for years. Normally professional, but he was disgusting today. Rude, cutting me off before I could finish asking for a beverage. It was one other patron there, relax. Then to start eating the pizza and it’s flip flopping everywhere. The quality definitely declined over the years, as well as the service. Prime location…but maybe it’s time for something else.
Pizza is nasty no kind of taste closed down your shop cause u ant going to make it pal change your entire recipe an staff place was also very dirty inside tables nasty floor nasty and no kind of bathroom for customers 2 thumbs down 🤢🤮😷
Disgusting customer service and not sanitary the cashier took my money for my slice then proceeded to grab a handful of cheese and put it on my pizza with no gloves after cash handling then when I said something he got upset how many pple he has done it to money is so dirty and to grab cheese after touching it for me to eat on my pizza ? Gross
It’s one thing to be out of ranch and hot sauce (hot sauce, really??) but it’s another thing to treat the one white person like trash in the establishment. Between the attitude during ordering. My ride taking longer than expected so I decided to eat my pizza there. To my surprise the man was upset with me eating the pizza out of the box clearly. And when I got up to dispose of it, his attitude caught me off guard about where I can leave the box. Idk it’s just a weird vibe here. The other guys seemed nice but the head was as definitely a surprise.
Pizza is good, but the counter service sucks!! Their customer service is horrible and they treat "darker" customers differently! It is noticeable and being talked about. A lot of their customers now frequent "Layla Jones Pizzeria" 3 blocks away. Layla Jones pies are excellent and their ingredients are fresh with cordial and welcoming counter staff.
Remember this spot way back. They also extended the restaurant very spacious. Fresh mozzarella is my favorite. Very flavorful. There's one employee there he's hefty in weight and wears glasses, he makes you feel not welcomed...he has this demeanor of negativity, he is very rude and he looks like something is always bothering him. Individuals like himself shouldn't work in the social atmosphere. His work ethic is unprofessional.....thought the service was good until I encountered this employee...
