This is one of my favorite places in Williamsburg. Very fresh and good ingredients, delicious flavors, very reasonable prices. One of my go to places. I love the papaya salad and the pork knuckle dish. And their lunch specials are a really great deal! The pad see ew is awesome.

We had the esaan sausage, somtum palaah, curry puffs, pad see ew, and the Tom yum noodle soup. Everything was tasty! The portions are good. We had the Thai tea with lemon and the lavender lemonade and both are so refreshing. Def recommend and we would def be going back! We forgot to take pix but def will next visit

Everything I’ve tried so far has been absolutely delicious and also fairly priced. Everyone who works there is always super friendly and overall just an awesome place to get Thai food. Definitely a go-to spot for me!

Sat outside with 2 friends on a Saturday around 4pm- food was SO good. We got Pad Kee Mao with extra veg & crispy tofu, Fish buns, Basil fried rice with shrimp & a dish with fried snapper over thai herbs, cashews and a fresh tangy sauce. Servings are massive and delicious, we spent less than $40 each and all got thai iced teas too. No beer/liquor, not super vibey but great food and staff. Can't wait to go back.

The Papaya Salad is a whole thing you gotta try on a summer day or evening ...amazing

Got the pad Thai and m’am saman curry and they were delicious! Only complaint was that there was no heat and bathroom

I order from Noods and chill when I’m in the moodle. (Mood for noodles). The Pad Seew is my go to and it never ever disappoints. Much recommended spot for a quick eat and a reliable experience. 10/10 on the food 13/10 for the name, whoever named the place is a genius, my wife and I are expecting our first child soon and it would be an honor if you could help name it. Haha.

Very good food but seating limited. Put your name on the waiting list at the counter and they’ll text when ready, but likely you’ll be sharing a table with someone. Heads up: Don’t expect someone to take your order at the table. Order at the counter and pay in advance. You’ll also need to clear off the table yourself. Ordered a mild pad kee mow but still was pretty spicy, but I liked it. Popcorn chicken and buns were very good.

A
Audra Lambert

Had their pad Khee mao and their curry puffs - asked for the khee mao (with chicken) spicy and it really was! I was happy the flavor was really good and the portion size was great too! The curry puffs were still a little frozen inside but they not only apologized they got me a free soda which was nice - a 4 for food but a 5 overall for service and for hearing out my feedback. Yum!

It's hard to come by somewhere where the food is consistently amazing. is pad thai basic? yes am i also a sucker for N&C's pad thai? triple yes while i love my other thai dishes, i come back time and time again for N&C's pad thai. I've gotten the vegetarian, shrimp, tofu, etc. pad thai and it is amazing every single time. I always get the sambal on the side and it truly hits. I wouldn't really say that the restaurant itself has much of a sophisticated ambiance but this is somewhere to go when you want to be full on good food that's moderately priced and just want a chiller setting. Note -- they don't have a restroom at the restaurant.

Pad Thai was good. I was happy with my meals and it was prepared quickly

Noods n’ Chill is pretty solid, especially for their massaman curry. Some of the dishes are way too sugary / sweet for my taste (like the pad thai), but the savory dishes are good. Great service, too.

L

After ordering delivery several times from Noods n Chill I can attest their dishes are consistently good. Today however, I ordered the the shrimp massman curry and WOW I was blown away. Probably the best massaman curry I’ve tasted— their iteration was well balanced with mild sweetness, spice, and a unique smokiness… hope they keep this recipe going for future orders. Happy customer here!

Believe the high ratings - I always complain about how there is no great Thai food in the are, but this place will silence those complaints. Will add photos the next time we order - which will be very soon! Loved: pad Thai, larb and papaya salad. FYI Spicy is spicy - can’t imagine doing the Thai spicy.

I was reccomended by couple of friends who lived in the area. Delicious food and good music. I like their spicy Tom Yum noodles. Takes me back to street of Bangkok. I will return.

We always get their pad-see-ew, so good! Also love the mock duck option for vegans. When it comes to spicy level, steer clear from the Thai spicy lol. I eat spicy food and normally go for less than mild here.

T

we went here instead of a Michelin star restaurant and we have no regrets. Food was excellent, vibes are wonderful, portions are big, meat was incredibly tender. I would trust them with my life. We got Moo toon, pork dumplings, Thai iced coffee, and lemon Thai tea.

Wow! Finally a really good Thai place in Williamsburg. If you are tired of all the basic and mediocre Thai options in the neighborhood run to Noods n' Chill. Everything we ordered was extra good. Lots of flavor, fresh, and quality ingredients from what I could tell. We didn't order any particularly spicy items but the curry we had came with spicy oil that added a ton of depth of flavor and heat. Looking forward to ordering again soon. Major plus, you can order directly from the restaurant if you want to avoid all the insane Caviar fees.

I've been to Chiang Mai Thailand before and had Khao soy there which tasted amazing. Ordered the same dish at this restaurant without any expectations. I must say, I was extremely impressed. It tasted delicious just like the one I had in Thailand. Very authentic! My friend ordered crab fried rice and loved it too. Great place for thai food. I will definitely be coming back!

T

Yums for the tums. Absolutely delicious, try the specials on the back of the menu, please. Super reasonably priced and owner is super nice!

Had the Pla Lui Suan and the Pork boat noodles with a side of crispy pork skins. Both were very good. Very large portion of the fish salad… so could not do full justice, despite being hungry.

food was delicious, wish i sat indoors to have the full taste before the noodles got cold so quickly. soup was flavorful will definitely come back and try other items on the menu.

Five years later, still my favorite Thai restaurant in all of New York. The flavors are incredible and not too oily or overpowering. The staff are so kind and friendly. They do their best to accommodate dietary restrictions and are very thoughtful when dining in. Delivery holds up even the next day for leftovers! Get the crispy pork belly pad see ew, tofu with any curry, crab fried rice, khao soi, the pad Thai!!

N
Nathaniel Chan

Seriously delicious Thai food. Flavour from their soup noodles are hard to find in nyc

P

Thrilled that the Plant Love folks opened a spot near me. Try the blood soup! The veggie crispy salad and duck noodles (pictured) are also great.

D
Devid Hr

Absolutely incredible food! If you’re a fan of spice, ask for “Thai spicy”—they’re not shy with the heat! I tried the Larb Gai (spicy minced chicken salad), and it was tangy, bold, and refreshing. The owners are so sweet; they checked on us and even gave us extra cilantro for the table when we asked.

S

This place never lets me down. Today I got the pad kra pow for lunch and it was just what I needed after a tough morning. The employees are so kind and sweet. P.s. They also serve one complimentary spring roll for lunch!

Our fav spot for takeout. Great pad Thai. We only eat that though so not sure how’s the rest of menu.

My go to Thai delivery place - always so good. Best crab fried rice in nyc! And I’ve tried many. Not too oily and such great authentic flavors

J

Great place! My wife and I ordered some of their appetizers and really enjoyed the chicken and fish buns along with the curry puffs (new in the menu, suggested by the employee)

By far the best Thai food in Williamsburg and the prices are super fair. Embarrassingly eat here way too often cause it’s so good. The lunch combo is also a great option, it comes with food, spring rolls, and a drink (get the Thai tea!!)

Noodles are authentic with thai spicy. And it’s very spicy though. The mango dessert is bomb!

We came to this restaurant on a whim and this place blew our expectations of the water. We got the pad kee mao with pork belly, medium spicy and it was excellent. The pork belly was beautifully crispy and chewy and the spice really punched through. We also had pineapple fried rice which was packed with shrimp and chicken and the pineapple was so sweet and tender. My boyfriend and I were trying to have a conversation but neither of us could focus because the food slapped so hard. Service was also so fast! We were thoroughly impressed. Will definitely be back.

A little slice of Thailand right here in Brooklyn. This family-run spot serves seriously authentic dishes. The Khao Soi (Northern Thai curry noodles) was rich, flavorful, and came with crispy noodles on top. A bit spicy, but in the best way possible.

J
Jirawat Sutipayakul

A small restaurant with big heart. This place is a must-try. With wide selections of what consider good and challenge will put you to the test. The restaurant may be small, but with what they have to offer will leave you with zero disappointment. A small restaurant, a size of a typical New York City Chinese takeout place with two screwed down tables that remains unmoved. Luckily, they’ve expanded their dining space and utilized their ability to its fullest potential. I was recommended with pork knuckle and bamee poo moo dang. Though I was skeptical about how they would make their pork knuckle differ from French. They actually shocked me, put me back to my 18+ hours flight to Thailand where I first had it. The pork was well seasoned and given a side of vinegar to add acidity. Good choice. Not to mention, their cut up pickled cabbages are a MUST have with it. Surprisingly did not leave my mouth try from the sodium content. Overall, I was left happy and so, as my stomach once I’ve ate all of that myself.

Just found my new regular lunch spot! This place is so good. Tasty, fast and with a $9 lunch special hard to find a better deal in Williamsburg. The entire menu looks so good, can't wait to try everything. I had the Pad Kra Pow - spicy basil sauce and boy was it spicy!!! I had medium, can't even imagine what spicy would have been. But so delicious and filling. Great spot, quick and functional. Enjoy

So fun! Very quaint, eclectic diner in Williamsburg, NY. They have A LOT of Vegan and Vegetarian options. Super friendly and positive staff! I had the Vegan Spring Rolls and Veggie Bao Buns - fantastic! Please visit or order take out the next time you visit Brooklyn/Williamsburg.

This tiny, hole-in-the-wall place with an admittedly cringeworthy name has some of the best thai food in the city. We were lucky enough to snag the three bar stools in front of the counter, but if you’re with a group, the move is probably to order delivery because there’s only one table for 4ish. The boat noodles (whose existence on the menu is, according to my Southeast Asian friend, a marker of authenticity) were savory and loaded with delicious ingredients. The duck curry was gorgeously rich and flavorful and nicely offset by the crunchy long beans. The larb was fresh, tangy, minty, and spicy— everything you could have asked for in larb and more. Thai iced tea is creamy and not too sweet and perfectly complements all the strong flavors of the food. Definitely coming back for dinner and would also love to try their congee breakfast!

C

The most authentic Thai food I've had in the New York City area since I've been in Thailand. Fantastic flavors and beautiful attention to detail. I would highly recommend!!

While it seems like this place is mostly a takeout operation, we had a great time sitting there and eating. The food here is fantastic. Fresh, flavorful and huge portions. Tip: it’s BYOB so bring your favorite beer and wine and enjoy some great food.

J

My go to neighborhood Thai joint! I usually get the spicy noodle soups to go - the nam tok moo (boat noodle) or tom yum with a size of chive cakes and Thai iced tea

R
Rico Sharp

Very good and authentic Thai food, something that’s becoming hard to find. The fried dough (forgot the name) was great and the Guay Toew Tom Yum was delicious. The congee special is something that reminded my friends of their childhood in Thailand and was delicious. So many other things I wanted to try from the menu but couldn’t fit it in my stomach. Will be back again!

R
Ryan Haj

This place is consistent and fairly priced. I can’t ask for more from a restaurant like this. The appetizer roti with curry is unreal. I crave it. I’ve dined in and had take out both are solid. Eating in is a fun casual experience, but there is a constant flow of delivery drivers coming through the main entrance. Not a big deal at all but takes away from the dining experience.

J

Everything tastes amazing and is so fresh. Incomparable flavours abound in every dish and are worth visiting (and revisiting). The food can get pretty spicy, which I'm a huge fan of. Special shout out to the pork blood broth - I could eat nothing but that for weeks and not get tired of it. Easily one of my favorite places in the area.

I'm a big fan of this spot, I always get their lunch special because it's such a good deal. The pork belly is worth the couple extra dollars. I've tried several of their drinks now and they usually hit every time. Try this spot out if you're in the area, it's a neighborhood gem.

When I got tired of hanging out with friends in Williamsburg, I said I'd pick a place to eat. I met this corner diner! Don't try don't know, this Thai food is really Mrs. Too authentic! It's so delicious! I ordered the Kra paw! The nine-story tower! But I don't want minced pork! I used to eat it in Chiang Mai at the time, fried pork belly with skin, which is pronounced like in Thai "kra paw mu guo"? Do not know if it is right, but want to be the same as me (Figure 9) on this point! It's really delicious! That's a lot! It's only $13! I also ordered a bowl of rice (please call me a rice bucket). And more! Spiciness is what I like! Very Thai! Didn't change the spiciness at all to suit people here! Like ( • A friend of a vegan ordered a Bamee mockduck (Photo 10), which has a green face! She said it was delicious! And bring friends! Another friend ordered duck noodles (FIG. 11) and forgot the name! There's a lot of duck, too! It is very cost-effective! The restaurant brother told us that this outside seat was only opened last month, and before that it was only for business! But I have to say, it's delicious! Not as comfortable as you, of course, but! Ten bucks and you don't need a bike! So sisters, like to eat Thai food Chong! I guess the others I haven't tried must be good too! Come again next time!

Pretty chill place. Food is delicious! Definitely try to sit inside when you can, the outside portion is pretty chilly (Bundle up). I got the Gai Rad Prik and Curry Puffs and Passionfruit soda. All worth it. Will be back...but maybe during the warmer months.

This was great. The spicy was really freaking good. I had the medium spicy and it was hits right. My buddy had the crazy hot spicy & it was super tasty but - wild. Not expensive and super good. It's byob - we grabbed beer from the deli. / good vibes too.

BEST Thai in the neighborhood hands down. Everything tastes exactly as it should and is as authentic as you can get in Williamsburg. I feel like I’m back in Thailand when I eat Noods n’ Chill! All of the restaurants by Plant Love House are incredible too. อร่อยมาก!

2026 edit : quality gone down compared to before. Taking it down from 5 to 4 star Our go-to Thai for delivery. Original review : I haven’t dined at the restaurant but after searching far and wide for good Thai delivery in the area, we’re happy we found this gem. The food is excellent, and is consistently so. Our favorites are the massaman curry and drunken noodles. the Delivery is also very timely and never delayed

We ordered the papaya salad, rice noodles and Thai tea. I like the Thai tea most, not very sweet. Be careful their “spicy” is very 🌶️ spicy

Authentic food with reasonable adjustment for non Thailand customers. Ordered Pad Thai and really liked it. Maybe it is just me but didn’t realize the base price on the menu does not include protein and you pay 3-5 dollars for meat or tofu or shrimp. Beware when the staff warn you the fish is spicy, they actually mean it😂. Bottom line, a nicely maintained restaurant with nice food and friendly people.

S

Food is tasty, but for &18 pad see yu, portion isa bit small

At this authentic Thai restaurant, you order your food through their Square app and they bring out the food to your table. I highly recommend starting with "mild" spice level unless you know what you're doing.

Food is amazing. Good effort on the outdoor seating area. The ordering process is a bit disjointed. Wish they had a table service QR code model from UNION/TabbedOut

T

I got the pad Thai from here, the noodles in there were amazing but I am not so sure about the chicken, the chicken pieces were cut unevenly and it felt like the chicken was over cooked as it was too hard. Would definitely buy again but with vegetables not chicken

R

Veggie buns were absolutely amazing. Tho a little limited in space, this place is very nice for a bite.

C

Cute counter service style spot. Take-out oriented but if you get there a little later in the evening that element seems to wind down. I personally enjoyed the bustle though know it’s now everyone’s style. Very generous servings for the price and great flavors. If I was in the neighborhood more I’d make it a regular spot!

T
Tom McLain

Stuff was friendly and the meal was delecios. The table was a little Bit sticky. Water was free, thats good.

This is a decent but not altogether outstanding thai restaurant in the heart of williamsburg. There aren’t a bunch of great asian options in the area, so it’s existence is welcome. The boat blood noodle soup (pork-based) is probably their stand-out dish. Its not something that is commonly seen on other thai menus, and the broth is truly very rich and not to iron-ey tasting. You can also have the options of adding chicharrones (crackling pork skin) to the dish which adds another layer of texture. Service is minimal so don’t expect the four seasons. Great in a pinch and a lifesaver for rainy day takeout.

I wouldn’t say this is the best thai i have ever had. I was in the neighborhood with a friend and we found this thai spot on Google Maps. We tried pad thai and pad-se-ew. Both were tasty but a little dry. The staff was nice😃 5% off if you pay cash

I order food for delivery; food came on time and everything was correct. - Tom Yum noodle soup: good spicy and good potion 10/10 - Khao Kha Moo: My favorite menu 9/10 - Thai fried rice: good basic Thai food 7/10 - Roti Yellow with Curry Sauce: good appetizer 7/10 Overall, for a taste of food and quality are good.

Best Thai food in town! Huge portions. Friendly and fast service. Would recommend for takeout. The tables to eat there are either inside the hot restaurant or outside in a patio. All with nonA/C

Nishita Saha

Food was delicious and huge portions - got the pork blood soup, a pad gra pow, and papaya salad for two! We ended up with the papaya salad most leftover just because the mains were so filling. It does seem set up as a delivery hub as there was only 1 table inside and 4 tables in the patio (all 2 seaters, but a couple could be combined). You also order the food online via a QR code and then the servers bring it to you. Due to these factors, there wasn't really an ambience, but I think it would be a lot nicer in the summer time. Overall, the food was delicious (most important) and worth the trek for us!

We’ve had their food twice. Once dining in and ordered takeout last night. Def authentic and recommended! Be mindful of their spicy level. I normal order spicy at other places but Nood’s spicy level is higher lol.

people were nice and food came put ridiculously fast, but i just didn’t really like any of it 🤷‍♀️ tofu texture was dry/not bouncy, the flavors were a little bland. sticky rice was good.

M
Maram A

Very popular place. People were coming in and out. The restaurant isn't cozy so I don't recommend indoor dining. I ordered the eggplant tofu. It was decent. The tofu, I'm pretty sure was precooked so that they could add it to any dish that needed it. Tofu was hard and flavorless but with the sauce with the eggplant, it wasn't bad. The pad thai with shrimp was really good. It had a good peanut flavor and wasn't too sweet. My friend also got fish balls and he devoured them. I didn't try rhem but by how he ate them I would say try them.

E
Eliot Quon

Interesting and diverse menu. The beef rib noodles had a flavorful soup and the meat was falling off the bone, but relatively flavorless. Not all the signature items screamed authentic, but maybe we should not have ordered something billed as “popcorn chicken.”

L
L

Thai food is good here, but not anything too special. I do enjoy their pork belly pad Thai here a lot! It is a little pricey compared to other Thai in the area. This is definitely a more casual vibe as well—they have some indoor seating and more outdoor seating. Good place to swing by if you’re in the area.

K
Kevin Shim

The Pad Kee Mao (Drunken Noodle) lunch special comes with 1 spring roll. The Pad Kee Mao itself is decent. Not the best, but good enough for lunch. It’s flavorfully cooked with the option to adjust spice levels. Although I got spiciest level, I didn’t find it spicy whatsoever. The spring roll that comes with the lunch special needs improvement. I found it to be quite bland, if not bitter. It doesn’t come with any dipping sauce. Honestly, the lunch special is better off without it. Overall, I thought the food was okay. The restaurant decor is charming, and the service was great.

Laura Green

The place is good for taking photos which makes it hot on social media. But the taste is not so good. Generally it is too sweet for the noodles which makes it taste weird. And the environment is not so clean, I have seen some flies dropping into the water bottle. Only the pork dumplings are good to try. Overall, I don’t recommend dining in it for the environment.

Erik Johnson
Erik Johnson

Really a machine for take out. Not recommended for dining in. They sort-of have a couple of tables inside. The outside dining set-up is rustic and unheated. Counter service only,. The food is just okay. Try the popcorn chicken.

chris yo

Food 3/5 It was hit or miss. The tomyam soup was a bit bland and didnt taste like traditional thai tomyam. I did love the shumai which has to be eaten as soon as it is served, otherwise the skin hardens which I didnt love. The crab fried rice was okay, for the price, I would have expected more crab. Looking around, a lot of people was getting Khao Soi which we did not order. Perhaps that was what this place is famous for Service 4/5 Kitchen staff doubles as wait staff. One of the kitchen staff will pause preparing food and take your order at the counter so do expect a wait when its busy. Self service with everything including cleaning up after the meal. I think this may be due to covid. Otherwise, staff are friendly and everyone is wearing a mask Ambiance 4/5 Super tiny shop. Like a bar sitting area by the window and another table on the other side. Tables outside but no enclosure.

J
Jackson May

You're not a take out restaurant if you ask for tip when I order food for eating in barely heated enclosure. No bathroom even for sit down customers. The food were pretty good. But asking for the tip in the app and then saying you're take out restaurant and no bathroom for sit down customers. That's hypocritical. Won't be back even though the food was actually pretty good.

Chicken was dry, noodles were dry, found a hair in my dish and they refunded the one dish (not the others) without push back and that’s the only reason I’m giving this place 2 stars as opposed to 1

Ordered a Beef Pad Kee Mao for lunch. The lunch came with a spring roll. You have to pay extra for protein so the beef was an extra $3. However the beef was dry and chewy. Didn't come with a lot of noodles either.

Noods and Chill is a convenient spot for Thai food in the neighborhood. I’ve ordered from them a lot, but the quality of the food can vary. Most of the dishes I’ve tried are pretty good, but sometimes they’re not. I usually order Pad See Ew, Massaman Curry, or Pad Thai. I’ve recently started going to a new place called Am Thai that’s a bit more authentic.

Food was fine. Ordered out. No hot sauce or utensils even though it was requested. They forgot the crab rangoons and I had to go back for it. Only apologized on my way out.

I really want to love this place since the food tastes genuinely authentic. Unfortunately, I ended up with the worst food poisoning I've ever had. It seems like they have some serious hygiene issues.. definitely wouldn't risk going back again. Edit: In response to the owner's comment, I ordered the Numtok Noodle Soup for dine in.

Noods n' Chill was honestly one of our favorite Thai places in New York City when we first discovered it during the pandemic. It was a different kind of Thai place. An inexpensive place with a small menu focused on creative pairings of flavors, textures, and ingredients. We really found the food here inspiring. We took friends and family here. Every time we went there was a line out the door. In fact some of the dishes we had here honestly inspired us to learn more about Thai cuisine. This was one of our favorite restaurants in Brooklyn. And then something happened. I don't know if management changed hands, or if their previous chef moved on to greener pastures, or if they simply couldn't afford to serve food of the quality they aspired to when they first opened. We went back recently, and the menu was completely different, a new long menu focused mostly on takeout it seems. The flavor is all wrong now. They serve mounds of bland noodles, inedible pork belly cooked to the consistency of cardboard, and dry bao buns stuffed with dry pulled pork without even a hint of sauce or vegetable. Honestly writing this review is just making me sad. I really loved this restaurant! If they changed things around, I would go back in a heartbeat. But what they're doing now is unsustainable... Or maybe I'm wrong. Maybe serving bland take-out classics really is the only profitable option in Williamsburg these days. Whatever the case may be, Noods n' Chill is a tragedy. I just want the old Noods n' Chill back... please?

Unfortunately negative experience. I found this place while sightseeing in Williamsburg and immediately regretted it. I was served a vegetarian pad thai that smelled disgusting, and I immediately had the feeling that the ingredients were not fresh and the hygienic conditions were not good. The meat that was in my friend's pad thai had clearly gone bad.

Ordered pad see ew w chicken.. this is the most saltiest dish i have ever eaten from thai selection. My tongue is numb and my 7 year old is complaining how salty it is. Idk about other dishes but do not order pad see ew its just so bad.

I called Noods and Chill to order Tom Yum, a lady took my order didn’t specify anything , so When I got home and found this I got really upset, coz this doesn’t even look close to Tom Yum. I called back and she said that they are not making a traditional version of Tom Yum and didn’t offer any solution. Well, so sad, used to be my favorite Thai place .

The staff are very very bad, they don't cooperate. They didn't tell me how long gonna take to make the order.

Food was so bad - pad see ew was worst thai food ive had for takeout. Tofu was so hard and overcooked. Portions for the thai tea were awful, they overfilled with ice and didnt even fill to the top

There was glass in my food! I'm extremely disappointed. My girlfriend and I ordered UberEats from here––I usually really enjoy this restaurant––but she bit down on something hard and turns out it was a small shard of broken glass. To make matters worse, UberEats refused to give a refund. They completely stonewalled me, which I recognize doesn't have a direct correlation with the restaurant's policy, but it really leaves a bad taste in our mouths (pun intended). Her gum is cut and still hurts. I really used to like the food here, but the quality control must have really gone down. Something to keep in mind before you order from here.

Worst Thai food I’ve ever had. I read some reviews saying this place has gone downhill and seems to be true. Pad see ew had zero sauce, was just bland noodles. Green curry had 3 pieces of chicken and was filled 1/4 of container. Feels like robbery!
