They sell super authentic, affordable and super flavorful pastelitos (Dominican fried empanadas), but don’t let the fact they’re fried scare you away! They make them with different fillings, and they truly don’t disappoint. With many empanada spots opening up, they do not compare because the pricing is high or the flavor is lacking. Here the experience is worth every penny, especially the pastelitos de cangrejo (crab empanada) they make. No hay nada más auténtico que un pastelito hecho con mucho amor. No te arrepentirás, te lo aseguro.

Their variety is amazing. You can also order large quantities for parties and stuff. Just make sure to place the order with them in advance. I love their juices which are very good, the avena flavors ones specially.

Today I purchased a total of six pastelitos (Empanadas) beef, cheese and chicken, ham and cheese; plus a Jugo de avena con chinola (A mixed juice with oats and passion fruit). The words great, awsome, and delicious come short of how this basic Dominican and Puerto Rican snack/lunch was crafted to perfection by this establishment. Honestly with every single sip and bite it reminded me of DR. This is a must for me when im in BK.

Tasty empanadas on the slightly smaller side -- so just buy more, because they're inexpensive and worth it. They run out of some options at night, but cheese, beef, and chicken empanadas are reliably there at any hour. I plan to keep going back!

Wow. Very personable and the pastelitos & empanadas are to die for. They had veggie friendly delicious empanadas. Their choices were very impressive. From shrimp, to three cheese, chicken & cheese empanadas. Make your way there or order by viewing their menu on their website then placing your order. I was/am pleased.

I challenge you to come to this spot and just eat one empanada, the staff is great. The empanadas are great they definitely filling as well as tasty, very amazing, the best empanadas that I have had in NY. After a long search to find a place where the empanadas with a similar taste that we have in Dominican Republic, I found this place, the people of Bushwick are very lucky, to have a spot like this. My favorite empanadas are chicken with vegetables and pizza. They also have all kind of juice, I recommend fashion fruit with milk. They also have delivery.

Stoped by on a Saturday around noon. I ordered a 16 ounce morir sonando and one pastelito de queso that was thin, dry and had little amount of cheese. My total was $10.40!!!!! The drink only had orange juice and condensed milk. Way over price.

I tried to give this place a chance but the pastelitos are sooooooo dry I choked on the chicken pastelitos while I was driving because it was so dry and I had to pull over so I wouldn’t choke and die. They also lack flavor. I had 3 beef and 3 chicken. They are just so dry with no flavor and I hate to leave a review like this but this place has potential to turn that around. Please ! Put some flavor and moisture into your pastelitos
