Cute and cozy ambiance. I would recommend sticking with whatever beer is on tap or well drinks. I believe that the espresso martini was pre mixed and for the price it was not worth it.

Bouncer doesn’t know how to read foreign IDs and got into shouting match with people. Followed up with saying he enjoys that and was having fun when people tried to check him for getting so angry. Ended up going to another bar and he followed us down the block, not once but twice?? Extremely weird behavior and concerning. Love this bar but that was a crazy and unfortunate experience.

Service was fantastic, vibes were great - but you come to the bar for the drinks and the cocktail I had…Tina Marie (gin, aperol, lime)… it was undrinkable 😅. Really not good. May be more of a beer bar Reply to the owners comment : I did not tell the bartender I did not like the drink - I paid my tab with a tip and left with the drink 7/8ths full. I did not think it was worth saving .. at baseline the drinks should be drinkable - maybe cocktail-wise, training could be improved. Otherwise great bar!!

The bouncer was extremely rude and disrespectful when my friend had trouble finding her ID in her purse. We were the only ones at the door during a quiet and rainy Sunday night. We were not in the way of others getting into the bar. When she found her ID and handed it to him, he yelled at us to get on the sidewalk and leave. His anger seemed to come out of nowhere- I’m not sure why his emotions escalated so quickly. Truly never met a more disrespectful bouncer. We went to Little Beaver just around the corner and had a great time. Really recommend Little Beaver, they were super warm and welcoming.

One female bartender so nice, other guy a complete jerk. Took the piss out of our accents and made rude comments to my face. Wasn’t the only person in the bar that experienced it

Drink is ok. Honestly I don’t feel the vibe is welcoming from the bartender and other customers too. I hope people just show more respect and kindness. Not going back for sure.

Honesty I didn’t know making a manhattan was so hard. If you want rude service, weird vibes and undrinkable warm cocktails then this place is perfect. $37 I’d rather have thrown in the Hudson.

I got super disrespected by the bouncer while trying to go in with my foreign ID. He probably had never seen a Brazilian ID before and started to affirm that I was using a fake ID and couldn't go inside. My ID isn't fake; it's just not an American ID. Learn how to read foreign documents, or DON'T WORK AS A BOUNCER!!????? He started to scream and try to intimidate me to leave and took my friend's drink from her hands because she tried to talk to him. Then made fun of me as if I was insane for not having my passport out. Mind you, I legally CAN use my ID to enter a bar. The person with orange hair that was serving tried to understand the situation but obviously didn't do anything about the bouncer screaming and making fun of me for having a ''fake ID'' that wasn't fake—pure ignorance. He thought the phrase ''expedido em 2018'' (which means 'issued in 2018' in Portuguese) meant EXPIRED in 2018 and said I was lying and that my ID had expired..? BRAZILIAN IDS DO NOT EXPIRE!!!!!!!!!!! It's in another language. OF COURSE YOU CAN NOT READ IT!!!!!!!! Please educate the people you bring to work with you; this was really humiliating and disrespectful.

Dog lover’s paradise! I met my girlfriend here after work one day and it started off fine until we realized two different people had their dogs on the bar counter. I get people want to bring their dogs everywhere now and I have to make peace with it but there needs to be a line because that is downright nasty. To make it worse, we watched the bartenders pet these dogs and then fix drinks, put limes on the glasses etc immediately after without washing their hands. We left shortly after and won’t be returning. The drinks weren’t anything special, I’ve had worse but it is not worth sharing counter space with animals walking the streets of NYC. Obviously the dog owners that sleep with their pets and lick their mouths won’t think there was any wrong-doing but for those that are semi hygenic, keep this in mind.
