One of the most delicious meals I have had in a while ! This place is a gem, The owners are awesome and down to earth. Definitely coming back here and also ordering.
We dined at PC for lunch and left astonished. From the incredible menu to the amazing service we were just so happy. Our group tried 7 different dishes as well as 2 different bottles of wine. You can really tell they put so much care and love into curating both drink and food menus. 10/10 experience, price for quality is great!
The BEST Mediterranean food in Williamsburg. THIS is my FAVORITE restaurant in Williamsburg. The pita bread is so fluffy and delicious… I have no idea how they make it but it’s the best pita bread I have ever had. They have a great happy hour deal as well where you can get several different types of pita breads, and dip, which I highly recommend. All of the dips are so delicious. They have a couple of great vegetarian options as well. It’s a small space, but with a reservation it’s no problem. I love it here and can’t wait to come back!!!
Best bread and dips in Brooklyn at the moment! I love coming here. They have fun dishes that all rock. Definitely worth it and somehow doesn't get as booked up as similar restaurants in north brooklyn. This one is a hidden gem.
Incredible food. Everything we tried was absolutely delicious - pita & dips, snap peas, lamb meatballs, fusilli. Visited on a Monday and loved it so much we came back again the same week. Best pita I’ve ever had and dips are the perfect pairing. You can tell a lot of care goes into every dish. The flavors, the presentation, the atmosphere was on point. Best meal we’ve had in NYC!
Probably one of the most underrated spots in Brooklyn - P&C does everything very, very well. The pita and dips are my favorite thing on the menu and are some of the best the city has to offer. I have frequented their $16 happy hour pita, dip and cocktail special running every day from 4-6:30pm. Can’t go wrong here.
Was recommended to come here after getting a tattoo. And I am so glad I did. Sat at the bar and our bartender/server was phenomenal! So friendly and so helpful on what to try! Got the 2 different pitas and sauces and we inhaled them! Also got the lamb meatballs and they were so good I was trying to not look like a heffer and inhale them they were so good! 10/10 for the service alone then you add the food and it was a 20/10! If you love top notch service and amazing Mediterranean food COME HERE! I mean if you go to a place and see regulars also there offering you to try some of their food. You know they are doing something right!
I love this cute spot! It’s on the smaller side so may not be the best for bigger parties. The service was really great; they let me sit down even though I was 20 minutes early for my reservation. My friend and I split two rye pitas, labneh, the eggplant and cod dip & the broccoli rabe pasta. It was a good amount of food. The pita is phenomenal, definitely the best I’ve had in the city — freshly made, soft but crispy on the outside and well salted. The other food was very good too! Next time I’m trying their sourdough ice cream dessert option and the seeded semolina pita.
Very delicious, hot, puffy, baked-to-order pita bread, definitely the star of the night. Beside the rye pita bread with bottarga (great!), I had roasted clams and lamb meatballs and a chocolate torte for dessert. All were delicious. Definitely recommend! The place feels relaxing and cozy. I had a seat at the bar and I could see the chef prepare and bake the pita in the oven and that was very fun. The service was awesome. The bartender Joseph was very kind and friendly!
Checked this place out with friends recently and loved it! Love the ambience and the family-style/small-plate sharing vibes. To start with, the pita is excellent - both the semolina and the rye and each with their own strengths when paired with a particular dip. We tried the bottarga onion dip, hummus, and labne and each was great though I think the bottarga was actually my favorite. For our main dishes, we did the agnolotti, the carbonara, the garganelli, and the clams - each delicious in their own way. I love the subtle spice in the garganelli as well as the bacon to pair with the roasted clams. All great! The interior is somewhat small but a nice intimate setting and plenty of space for our party of 6. To top it off the torte was delightful - rich though with the right amount of sweetness cut by the salted caramel. Would definitely come back here!
I’ve eaten all over NYC, and all over the world, and P&C tops my charts of favorite restaurants I’ve ever been to. It’s a low-key neighborhood spot with food that is incredibly inventive and flavorful. The pita is the best pita I’ve had, period (and I’ve lived in the Middle East for years). Pita is an odd thing to highlight and you may shrug it off, but trust me, it’s worth coming just for the pita alone. The duck liver mousse is a staple for me on this menu- I have to get it every time and could genuinely eat a bucket of it. Each dish is unique. I don’t know any other spot in NYC that I could get roasted oysters with cheese and bacon (that’s also done in a tasteful way) and wagyu-beef tongue with shaved horseradish and cabbage. The service also keeps us coming back- P&C is owned by the loveliest couple who truly care about the food and their customers. Just very glad that this spot exists and I can continue to discover new tastes here!
Spent a cozy evening in this neighborhood gem with friends who were minutes away from welcoming their first child (seriously--their baby arrived the next day). I'll always be grateful to them for introducing us to the deliciousness that exists within these walls: - Seeded Semolina Pita and Rye Pita: Could bread be any softer, fresher or more fragrant? I could eat 10 lbs of this every day. Mmmm, carb-tastic! - Dips: Baccala Caponata, Bottarga, Labneh. Fish lovers must get the Baccala and the Bottarga, while savory cream lovers will of course enjoy the labneh - Hamachi Crudo: There's never not a good time for crudo, but the middle of a heat wave is especially apt - Roasted Snap Peas: If all parents could cook snap peas like this, I guarantee no kid would reject their vegetables. Crisp, refreshing, minty, and fragrant--all with loads of vitamin K! - Dry Aged Lamb Meatballs: Classic and delicious - Fusilli: Don't bypass this because it sounds common. This is SHRIMP bolognese, son For a sweet after-finish, the Labneh Sorbet is all healthy granola meets antibacterial honey meets cardamom halva, and you know your mouth's going to be in flavor country. Get it.
My friend and I were lucky to get spots without reservations on a Sat night. Overall great experience. Our server was friendly. Food was good but somethings could be improved. We had Lahmajun as appetizer. Thin pita with lamb, sauce and seasoning on the top. Looked like a cute pizza. Pita was doughy; flavor was rich. But the meat was slightly dry. A note: if you like pita with dip, I wouldn’t recommend this one cause you won’t be able to tear it with hands. 🍝Casarecce might be the best that night. Pasta was well cooked with light but flavorful sauce coated outside. Chocolate torte was kinda disappointing. We couldn’t taste sesame and the texture was clumpy.
Overall rating: 4.5 I went here last year and didn’t really like it too much. I thought it was overpriced and/or should be labeled under fine dining. However, I recently tried again this year for a happy hour special I saw on my feed I wanted to try out. I’m glad I did! They did a redesign of the store and it feels a lot more modern than when I previously went. The staff was soo friendly. The HH deal was a small appetizer and a quick snack for me. I’m still not sure if this is the spot for me, but I definitely liked it so much more. I recommend giving it a try!
