Very nice little cafe. If you're staying in the area it's well worth a breakfast visit.
Fantastic egg & cheese bagel sandwhich and the service and staff were both great. Very welcoming place.
Friendly staff, cozy environment and socially conscious with tasty coffee. Nice little coffee shop in the slope
One of my favorite coffee shops in NYC. I sometimes come all the way from Flatbush just to relax and get some work done
Nice sunny spot to relax, sip espresso, and get work done. Great area in the back for kids too
Friendly staff, good coffee and plenty of space to work from. The additional seating in bavk is nice when it gets crowded.
Very friendly staff, and great atmosphere! Love their caramel latte
Good food & drinks, very friendly & accommodating! Will definitely come back.
Homey atmosphere, good coffee and fresh tasty breakfast sammies!
Great little coffee shop, and they run The Gowanus fridge—a local donation take some leave some food pantry.
Really fun place. Went for Friday night standup, which was a ton of fun. Non dairy option available
Best coffee routine! Excellent cappuccino , good vibes and staff amazing!!
Good coffee, good service, happy Customer 😊
Great energy, friendly staff, and a nice quite spot. This place won't break the bank and I will definitely be coming back.
Great Americano! Very laid back place. They give all their tips to charity every month.
A neighborhood staple and all around great place!
Incredible chai latte
Best coffee house in the area! Always smiling, always nice, always good :)
Friendly spot. Interior wasn’t open to the public, the outdoor seating was just right.
Good coffee, good people who care about their community and trying to do their part to make the world a better place.
Baristas are super nice and cool. Great chill vibes to study or hang out. A favorite of mine in park slope!!
Absolutely love the vibe here... Staff is down to earth and friendly, and all tips go to good causes. Great place to set up and get some work done in a chill environment. I will definitely be back frequently.
Great coffee. Excellent spot to work or meet up. The owner is super friendly. Really cool area downstairs with books. Kid friendly place.
The kind of coffee shop everyone hopes to have on their block - an integral part of the community. Also great outdoor seating and the coffee is fantastic.
They have cookies and coffee so I often go here to get those things. Its seems like there is a no yelling policy because I have never heard anybody yelling in the postmark cafe. I wish they would have that policy at more coffee shops, sheesh. Good prices.
Consistently good coffee, cheaper than others in the neighborhood, has outdoor and indoor seating, and has a community fridge for those in need. Stellar ♥️
For coffee aficionados (and others). They know what they are doing here. The almond milk latte had the depth of aerated milk you would expect of an experienced barista. The experience is as advertised in the About Us section on their website. Only drawback for an intolerant like me is the lack of gluten- and dairy-free baked goods
Great spot for a quick breakfast with friends. Everyone should want to be a regular here. They kindly made me a ham and cheese croissant when they were out
Coffee is solid, pastries are fine, people are great, and the mission is awesome Glad to have them open again just wish they opened at 7:00 instead of 7:30.
Great coffee place to sit and chill with friends. The serving size is a bit small but it's pretty good overall.
Best coffee shop in Park Slope with an outstanding vibe and very friendly staff. Nice selection of drinks and pastries. Must visit!
Hands down my favorite spot to get coffee in the neighborhood. Their lattes, cappuccinos, and cold brew are quite tasty!
What can I say I walked in one morning before work and people were quietly sipping coffee and Johnny Cash was playing in the background but not too loud. They also make food.
Sitting outside here with wifi and a drink on a sunny day, listening to salsa music, was one of my small joys in life. I think I love this place?
Great atmosphere with delicious coffee. I enjoy their tips go to a different charity each month.
I've been coming to this cafe for a year now and it's never a disappointment: good coffee, cosy atmosphere, and all their tips go to charity.
Great local coffee spot. Staff is always friendly and love that the tips go to a rotating charity.
Great place to sit and read or work and feel like you're in a cozy living room. Prices are very reasonable for Park Slope.
Wonderfull local coffee shop. They have excellent coffee and the most amazing croissants. It's my new favorite coffee shop in Brooklyn, I've been three times since discovering this place! Also they donate their tips to local charities, it's nice to support a business that gives back to the community!
I've struggled to find consistently good and unique coffee shops in Park Slope and was so happy to finally find Postmark Cafe! Their coffee and espresso is always great and the staff is very friendly. Their outdoor space is also really cute.
The best coffee shop in the hood! Very welcoming and kind vibe. Excellent quality coffee, the bagels are delicious! I hope this small coffee shop to continue to flourish so I can continue enjoy the delicious bagel sandwiches
Very good coffee shop. My mom, sister and I visited and the coffee is really good, plus it seems that they donate their tips to a good cause every month (Oct 2017 was for Hurricane recovery in Puerto Rico). Plus it has plenty of seating options, including a couple of outdoor seats.
Best coffee shop in the area. The staff is so friendly. Wonderful outdoor seating area. Their coffee is unique and fantastic. If I could give them 10 stars, I would.
I love this place. They donate the tips to charities, the staff is really, really friendly and the coffee is delicious. It's not too difficult to find enough space for you and 2 or 3 friends as well on the weekend. I used to go regularly on Sunday mornings/afternoons with friends.
Thank you so much Berlin for your wonderful hospitality and kind, cheerful & warm assistance on our lil whims amd silly questions. We very much love to catch up at the Post. Great food, great people.. will be back soon..
Some of the best coffee I've ever had period. The bagels and pastries are a delight. Cute hip decor and great friendly staff
Such a great cozy cafe. Came here on a Friday evening for the free Living Room Comedy Show hosted by Aaron & Turner. Wished I could attend the show more regularly to support all the super talented, genuine, true life sharing and usually under appreciated comedians.
Well priced delicious coffee, friendly staff and owner and cozy inside space and street side patio. Great place to get some work done! What’s not to love?
The americano was rich and delightful and the banana walnut muffin was the perfect complement. What a wonderful pick me up to start the day after a sleepless night. I’ll be sure to come here even after a full nights rest. A neighborhood treasure!
Super chill atmosphere. Good place to sit down and get some work done or just to read a book. All tips are donated to charity that vary from month to month. Coffee is good too.
Postmark is the best coffee shop in Park Slope, and quite possibly in all of New York. The coffee is great and reasonably priced, the owner is kind, and the people that work there are kind as well. It's a perfect place.
I tried a maple latte and a ham & cheese croissant, both of which tasted amazing and had a good price. The seating by the window was a great place to peacefully read a book while enjoying breakfast, and the staff was friendly.
Postmark Café has become one of my go-to spots in Brooklyn, and it's not just for the coffee (which is solid, by the way). What really makes this place shine is the atmosphere. The exposed brick walls, wooden tables, and cozy seating make it feel like a little retreat from the outside world. There's something really authentic and personal about the space - you don't feel like just another customer; you feel welcomed into a neighborhood spot that truly cares. The music here is always on point - a lively and fun playlist that sets a relaxing yet upbeat tone. Whether I'm popping in for a quick coffee or staying to enjoy the ambiance, the vibe always lifts my mood. The staff are friendly and seem genuinely passionate, which adds to that human touch that I think a lot of places are missing. The café isn't huge, so it can fill up quickly, but that never feels like a downside - more like a testament to how beloved it is by locals. It's not just a place to grab a drink; it's a place to slow down, chat with friends, or get some work done. If you're in Park Slope, I highly recommend stopping by for the full experience.
Love this cafe! I’m new to the neighborhood and coming here to work has made me feel so welcomed. The owner and baristas are so sweet - I love hearing the pick-up window interactions with neighbors. Super stroller and dog friendly. I can't have caffeine so my go to is a cozy turmeric latte. The cup lids are a bright pink so everyone will know you came from Postmark <3
I love this coffee shop. It’s really affordable (and I feel like coffee is getting more and more pricey everywhere!) and the coffee tastes great. I’ve only had the coffee and iced tea, which they brewed for me right there. So good! Plus everyone is really friendly which is huge points from me. Will come whenever I’m in the area.
Best drip coffee in the neighborhood, both hot and iced. A wonderful place to hang out, which feels like a real community, both with the wonderful people who work there and the regulars. Brad goes out of his way to give back to the community as well. A Park Slope institution.
This place is lovely. I'm in NYC from Mexico City for a conference and I came here to work on my paper, and this is probably the most relaxed and comfortable I've been my entire time here. This middle aged guy, I think he might be the owner or manager, is super approachable and kind. He chats with the customers and employees and makes one feel welcomed. This place is very unpretentious, chill, cozy, and child-accommodating. There's good strong wifi and even a printer if you need. The coffee is great, the pastries are great and I was shocked by how inexpensive it seemed compared to everywhere else I've been in New York so far. Honestly I can't say enough good things about this place and the employees. If you're in Park Slope and wanting a coffee come support this place. Much love from CDMX!!
Very warm and welcoming cafe with ample indoor and outdoor seating. With all of the breakfast places in the area I was surprised to find that they have probably the best egg and cheese bagel sandwich around. To top it off the owner is friendly and always sparking fun conversations with patrons.
The flat whites were good, slightly darker roast then the other shops around there that seem to have third wave coffees. The atmosphere is homey, friendly, with a good outdoor seating area, and an all around great vibe.
Love this spot! They are kind and friendly and the coffee is good. I really really appreciate the outdoor window, that is specially useful for those of us with two kids on bikes in tow, and those of us who like to avoid indoors! Also like the decent discount for reusable cups :) A lovely neighborhood business.
Quiet and comfortable cafe. Great place to read, study or take a break from the day. Kids area, plenty of seating options, and even a vintage phone booth, if you need to make a call. Very good spot to visit if you are in the park Slope, Brooklyn area. Coffee and tea is very good. Brad is a staple and sets the tone for this neighborhood cafe. Come see for yourself.
Great small hip coffee shop. Lots of little vintage collectibles & beautiful hand drawn signs & art. Very cozy, warm & friendly feeling. Big table, couches & high chairs at the window. Additional seating is available with Kids section. Parking is available on the avenue by paying the meter.
A solid neighborhood coffee shop that mixes local hangout vibe with socially conscious fundraising efforts. Free wifi and room to sit. Food is limited and Brooklyn Roasting Plant coffee is a specific taste (not my favorite).
Easily the best coffee shop in Park Slope from an atmosphere perspective. However, the can definitely improve the quality of the coffee getting pulled.
A nice little neighborhood nook with a nice artistic cozy atmosphere. The coffee is pretty good and the service is fast, even when it's super busy.
great ..this is one of those computer artistic people cafe....warm, two rooms , one with windows to the streets other inside without windows more private and ready for children play (no more of 3 kids there)even is not big space...parking is terrible in this area
$1 refills! <3 Great staff too who don't mind if you hang out, buying refills, doing work during the day. Can be a trick to get a table.
A great place to work and eat something. The coffee was just ok, but I don't think they market themselves as a shop with specialty coffee.
I'm a student at M.S. 51 middle school and since we are allowed to go out for lunch I am beginning to know the restaurants around here very well. This is one of the good ones. Since I'm not going to drink coffee before I have to focus in school, at lunch I usually get their delicious, creamy macaroni and cheese, and a hot chocolate. The hot chocolate is very rich, made with steamed milk. The atmosphere is relaxed and cozy, with easy chairs and lots of art on the walls. The staff are very friendly and funny. My only complaint is the downstairs seating area. There is a lot of room down there, but the only seats are a bench, a small table, and an easy chair. I understand that this café is not meant for so many kids, but since it's near a big school, there should be a couple more seats. Overall, it's not expensive, the food is original and tasty, the staff are nice, and the atmosphere is pleasant. Try Postmark, especially if you're looking for a quiet place to work. Just don't come between 11:40 and 12:20, you'll get mobbed with hungry students! usually
Good coffee shop with knowledgeable baristas. My wife is not in love with their espresso drinks, and the inside doesn't always handle crowds well. Otherwise, this is a lovely little neighborhood cafe with a coffee window that is downright irresistible.
It’s a nice place to stop by! While I didn’t try much the coffee is nice and the cookies that they have are tasty. No complaints!💕
nice hip coffe, the barista antipater
First, the...alright part: They have good wifi, I was able to work on my laptop without internet-related interruptions. The music can be a bit loud and distracting but not terrible with headphones. I ordered an iced coffee with milk and it was pretty standard, not exceptional but it was an iced coffee. The bad: There were flies EVERYWHERE, there were about 2-3 flies at my table, I had to shoo them away every couple minutes while I was working. The workers also had a fly swatter to kill those flies. Super annoying. The space was also very hot, there was no ac.
This is a sweet coffee shop with a sort of miss-matched, cozy vibe. However the barista was really rude and the chai latte was way too sweet
Coffee was kinda cold... So was the basement space. But a great place to work if you need to get things done on your computer. Very uncomfortable chairs, but wasn't staying long. Free Wi-Fi! Like that they donate tips to charities, but feel bad for the server. I guess they get the karma!
It’s a funky, not all for the better, basement vibe coffee shop. The focus does not seem to be on the quality of coffee or skill of the baristas. My cappuccinos have been like coffee flavored hot milkshakes. The outdoor seating is a highlight. Service is slovenly. Computer crowd seems to love it.
