This restaurant has a great variety of Guyanese and West Indian food. We got the oxtail, jerk chicken with rice, multiple sides. Everything was very flavorful and delicious. The place is very clean. The servers are very nice. They gave us complementary desserts and pastries. Would definitely recommend and come back again.

Food was delicious. After taking a few bites in the car shortly after leaving, went back in to get more of that Provisions and Salt Fish. Norissa was absolutely the best; very charming and professional when caring for her guests. You must go!

This place is amazing! I grew up in Guyana and when I find a place that makes food as good as it is in Guyana or even as good as my mom, I make sure to make note of it. This place knocked it out the park, food was DELICIOUS AND ON POINT, Service was incredible and the staff was SUPER friendly and welcoming. I got pepper pot, cook up, metai and phoulourie and everything tastes just as if my mother prepared it back home. I would give 6 stars if I could and they gave us free fish cakes as they were closing up. A must try if you’re in the area and want some REALLY GOOD Guyanese food! 🇬🇾 also, the passion fruit, pineapple and ginger drink is a must try. So good!

I had the oxtail, it was delicious and very soft! My husband had the jerk chicken. It was juicy and full of flavor, not too spicy.

My wife made the best jerk chicken I ever had before I came here. She is in full agreement and encourages me to admit that this place surpassed hers by miles. Fall off the bone, flavored to the core. The ladies who run the joint seem to be really invested and involved in the business, from cooking to serving. It feels like a worker-owned business.

This is truly a hidden gem. I tried this spot out for lunch two times this week and it will be my new regular lunch. All the food is fresh and authentic. You get a lot for an affordable price. They’re quick and friendly. Norissa took good care of me! I’ll be back next week!

I usually get the aloo pie or the oxtail meal whenever I come to Roti on the run. It’s the best.

Staff was friendly, place was cozy and felt very family-friendly, and the food was great as well! I got a plate of boneless jerk chicken and rice, and the house-made mauby juice. The jerk chicken was one of the best I've had, it was seasoned just the right amount and not too much like I usually find, and the homemade mauby was a nice balance of sweet and bitter! The employees were very proud of their food and it shows.

I frequent the area biweekly for my haircuts and after every cut i alway have to come here! Not only is servers out of this world but it’s also HALAL!

Roti on the Run is a perfect fast casual eatery. You order at the counter, you can get whatever you want from the extensive steam table selection, and they have lots of tables for seating inside and outside. Vegetarians and meat eaters alike will be happy! The chickpea channa is delightful, the rotis are thick, and the flavors have lots of depth. I can’t wait to eat there again sometime!

Food was so good. We got the Roti with buss up, some phoularie, and doubles. The Roti was my fav but my girlfriend absolutely loved the phoularie. On top of that, the service was top notch. They made me feel like I was back home in Trinidad. I will definitely add this to my list of places to eat while in NYC.

Delicious food, and lovely service! I got a double, and an egg ball, as an appetizer and a jerk chicken special, that had the most delicious fluffy and flavorful rice and peas. The lady who served me was so sweet she insisted I try a mini beef patty, and wow it was tasty! I also got a peanut punch, and a cheese pastry for dessert and enjoyed it all. I cant wait to go back!

Roti On The Run is the best halal Caribbean food spot in all 5 boroughs. Came here for the first time a couple days ago and have came every day since. Everything goes crazy. Very humble and kind owner aswell.

Great spot not too far from where I live in Bushwick. The workers are amazingly nice and professional. Doubles are cheap and super tasty. I also had some Oxtail which was amazing and SOOO much food. I tried the rasta pasta too and that was tasty. Have good ambiance for dining in too. Right near the J/Z train and plenty of street parking.

It might've been that i was cold and desperate in the 9 degree weather, but the doubles really hit the spot. A gentleman that works there gave me a sample of a new mango chutney recipe they were working on, and it was a perfect, pleasantly spicy match for their pholourie. Good honest homestyle Caribbean food, and warm, welcoming people serving it. I don't pass by here often, but it'll definitely be on my to-do list next time i fly out of jfk.

Best doubles I've ever had, might even be best meal I've had in New York. I had the doubles & aloo pie - both vegan, both so delicious. The staff gave great honest service and felt like being in my auntie's kitchen. My meal plus my cousin's meal of two doubles cost us around $9 altogether. Plenty of seating inside & outside. Loved it here. Will be coming back!

The best West Indian food I’ve had in a very long time. The food was so fresh, perfect temperature and so delicious. This place definitely have the flavor of the Caribbean ( I never been there) but it surely made me feel like I was. I had the jerk chicken with veggie rice. The sorrel beverage perfect not overly sweet or bitter. All meat is halal! I give it a 4 out of 5

Their saltfish fry is so good. incredibly crispy. I would give a 5 but got my order wrong ( ordered curry goat and got curry chicken) it was still really good though! food is 5/5

I wouldn’t go here for curry anything. Curry shouldn’t taste like cinnamon & nutmeg. The cuts of meat used are inadequate/ mostly bone no meat. Curry gravy is full of oil. The jerk chicken Rasta pasta is good tho.

Got this rancid jerk chicken not even sure how considering that what I saw on the counter looked amazing but someone’s gotta eat the inedible.... no offense if you like your chicken mummified. Two stars because the protein out weighed the carbs for nutritional reasons.

I was thinking of giving 5 stars for every aspect. However, my last three visits have been a less than decent experience. Either the management has changed or something has gone very wrong with this place. I’m thinking they’re going downhill pretty fast after a great start. From the service to the food, something’s gone terribly wrong. This use to be my go to spot for breakfast; but no longer. Perhaps if you visit and have a decent (at best) experience, I’ll be very happy. I really had high hopes for this place. I hate to see a business like this not do well — they really had so much potential to shine and show why immigration and immigrants in our country is a great thing. Unfortunately, I’m not holding my breath that they’ll improve unless they change many things, very fast. Truly, I say: Best of luck!

Ordered via uber eats. Specifically asked for channa and to wrap the roti. However got roti soup. Also the phoularie tasted spoiled or sour. Had to through them out. The little container of tamarind sauce is not enough for these big phoularies. I also ordered a plait bread which did not make it to my house...am not sure if it got lost on the way. Taste: nothing to talk about. Need more flavor. To bland!

I ultimately feel if you aren’t a local and someone they decide deserves to be treated well that they have a rep-or with they will try to deter you or pick and choose how they do business with you .The customer service regarding over the phone delivery ive found Disappointingly odd and Ill mannered . I have tried to place orders for delivery multiple times over the phone only sometimes succeeding .I’m deeply offended by the dismissive attitude and disregard to a very respectful paying customer . It shouldn’t be a challenge for me to get a bite to eat . Delivery is offered here , I live nearby the establishment, I don’t understand the what feels like disdain towards a customer who hasn’t done anything wrong. And it is very deterring to make it harder for someone to support your business when they have done nothing to disrespect you or said business .Due to that despite the food being flavor full and the store never seeming untidy I would say the manner in which I’ve been spoken to is borderline disturbing and I don’t appreciate being almost “bullied” out of being a customer somewhere . I ant believe what I just experienced.iv been coming here for years today I go with my sister (mind you we are light skinned Spanish people) and my sister is deaf. Not only did they just ignored us. They over charged us like really $25 for a plate of pasta and oxtail. But I get. The. Make a mess when they bagged the food like come on oil all over the food plate bag. Real sloppy can’t believe how they treated us and just was ignored and over charged us cuz we light skinned. They lost my business. I’ll go to Singh’s on liberty. They never treat us that way.

I ordered the stew oxtail with rice and peas. The rice and peas was soft but the oxtails were hard. I couldn’t even bite into it and whatever was in the Garvey or made with it was burnt little pieces I kept spitting out the whole time. Everything looked good inside the restaurant but this order was not it. I wasted money I can’t get back. However, the Jamaican beef Pattie was good.

The curry IS NOT IT! Watered down and the portion size was very disrespectful 6 chickpeas and 1 potato plus 3 pieces of chicken is wild. To top it off the Bussup was an overcooked roti skin. First impression was my last suggestion here. I honestly didn't order curry chicken soup

Bought a few things 10/30/24 the cheese pie had mold. I spoke to the owner and his attitude was worse than the mold on the cheese pie. He also own Bakewell on liberty. You should hear how he speaks to his workers SAD

I ordered curry shrimp with Dhal puri Roti, and they sent me boneless curry chicken with buss up shots.. when someone orders something through Grubhub, you send them exactly what they want and if you don’t have you let the customer know.. you don’t send the customer what you want.. I was very displeased with the food . And I wont be ordering from their again
