Doubles, doubles, and more doubles!!! However you like them with whatever you like. Roti, bake and saltfish or herring or whatever your palate desires. Every pastry imaginable from rock cake, pone, and sweet bread to bun and home made pound cake. Select whichever beverage suits your fresh fruit or carbonated preference. Ask for Shane - he is amazing! Customer service is top notch and prepare for the light hearted comedy. This roti house is on point.

Well what can I say. I no longer live in NY, I travel 5 hours from where I live back home to NY. As soon as i touch down. I park my vehicle and walk to my favorite bakery in BK. Everything you see taste exquisite. You would never go wrong. The food and pastries are made with family love. You know when families cook for family and then they establish a restaurant and the food sometimes changes to fit the public served... I can definitely say their " hand" remains the same. Do not hesitate to go. Devoted buyer. See you all in a few months. Lol

I have been buying buns here since my children were in the school Upstairs. Only one thing i hate when i ask for the buns in the middle the sales person always saying it will mess up the rest. I hate end. I am paying for what i want.i love the middle of the buns. Keep the sides for someone who likes the side. Like come on now. 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ the buns are freshly baked. All is AWESOME!

Nostrand Ave is not short of Caribbean eateries and this spot is worth checking out. From the freshly baked coconut buns, cassava pone and currant roll. To the perfectly seasoned meats for the roti's. 1 of my go to spot for the real Trini flavor.

I’ve been wanting to go to this bakery for a long time. I bought a sweetbread, a couple slices of cake and cassava poune. The guy behind the counter was very nice and friendly. He chatted with me a couple minutes. All the pastries and bread looked fresh and delicious. The prices was good. For me, good behind the counter friendly service is important. Unlike some of the shops in queens, you’re dam lucky if they ever say hi or even look at you. Took a business card and will definitely go back. Royal Bakery 👍

It's convenient and affordable with a wide range of baked goods and meals. The roti is so good. I've had the oxtail roti. - it was filling. Delicious food, freshly made and reasonably priced, with helpful, friendly staff. Will definitely be returning!

Favorite local bakery, hands down. Super kind servers and incredible baked goods! The cassava pone is soft and bouncy, the currant roles are perfectly flaky, and the carrot cake is the best in the city with real cream cheese frosting.

Coming in every 2 weeks on saturday. The roti is delicious. Doubles are very tasteful. All the cakes are fingerlicking good. Very friendly staff. A pleasure coming in. My neighbor comes with me and he is from Trinidad. He claims this food reminds him of back home.

This bakery is absolutely amazing. I bought currants roll, sponge cake, kurma, coconut roll and pone and all I can say is Wow! There are quite a few other caribbean bakeries on Nostrand Ave, but I highly recommend this place. Very reasonably priced as well.

This is my first time visiting Royal, ordered boneless chicken roti's for my family and a slice on bread pudding. Every one enjoyed the food it was very good will be going back again. They do not take credit cards.

This place is amazing! Have had a delicious fish patty, doubles, and $1.50 per cup dal ((Indian lentils). Ridiculously cheap and simply delicious!! Can’t wait to go back and try more stuff.

The staff is delightful, the food is amazing, the prices are great, and I became a regular instantly. I lived in this area for a month and nearly got a “double” or two every day. 10/10 would and do recommend! I just wish I lived closer.

Plenty of big name roti shops in the neighborhood but this place is a quiet contender not to be missed. Doubles are one of my favorites, don't forget the pepper sauce. Real star of the show is cassava pone. I've impressed all my coworkers and everyone else I've introduced to it, everyone has always asked for more. Perfectly moist, sweet and dense. Lots of other entree options and pastries as well. Cash only!!

I have been going here for years. I absolutely love their goat and beef rotis. The tamarind sauce they have is phenomenal. Every visit I always have to get me a piece of their sponge cake. It is to die for.

Need a trini feel while you're in Brooklyn? Check them out. I must mention their mini beef pies in the showcase close to the window, it's very yummy. Customer service is always on point, they're friendly and "trini".

I go there probably twice a year because, so far, it's the only place that comes close to home original taste. I cannot speak anything else except for the currants roll and the pone. It's delicious! Give them a try!!!! On that note, prices are not the same as before!!

The food is okay. However, the staff that works there (a lady) is very rude and unprofessional with customers. One time she and a customer had a little dispute and she threw the customer's food on the counter . That lady needs to quit or learn to conduct herself in a respectable manner. Having her on the front line is bad for business.

I would think for a black business that's on the upstart, they would give you better praduct particularly doubles for your money yet instead I got paste and goulash for my hard-earned dollar... Now I'm starting to wish I went to dunkin' donuts or McDonald's SMH

I’m writing because I feel disrespected and disappointed in the service I received at Royal Bakery. We ordered a birthday cake which cost $65. When they provided us the cake on pick up day it had no frosting, even though slices of the same carrot cake they sell in the bakery are frosted. When I asked if they could simply sell me some frosting to go with it, the young man at the counter just laughed at me and said no. Perhaps he just thought it was funny — but I did not, nor did the birthday girl. I used to love this place. Unfortunately I will not go back.
