Wow such a great thai restaurant, inside of restaurant looks wonderful. Looks like I step in to a magical place. The food here is very tasty and delicious, well seasoned, mouthwatering too. The staffs are attentive and helpful. Atmosphere feels comfortable and cozy, Decor is lovely. Overall might have to come back here when I am in Williamsburg.
This place does require proof of vaccination card for all parties while dining. Masks are required upon entry. Our waiter & waitress were attentive, and positive. Our food came out in a decent time. This place is a Thai fine dining experience that is definitely a destination place for me, always. When in dumbo Brooklyn, GO HERE!
Went here on a Monday around 2 when it was less busy for lunch with the family. Atmosphere was great, the music wasn't too loud, and the decor is very modern and eye catching. The service was efficient, the orders came out right away. It seemed like all the staff works together because multiple people came to our table, whether to drop food, check on us, clear the table. The food was great. We ordered the walnut shrimp, the jade dumplings, and the curry puffs for appetizers. For our entrees we ordered the golden pork belly, Brooklyn basil, fish panang curry. Everything was very tasteful. The spice level was just right for someone who regularly eats spicy food. Overall we had a great experience and would absolutely return.
Sea has been a good spot to go to for as long as I've known about it, me and my family have been coming here for years, and I think we only had bad food maybe once, there is large selection of Thai food all the City but in my opinion Sea stand out from the rest. I load up on their appetizers so much that I can't really eat my entree, it's ok though because the only better than eating your favorite food at a restaurant is eating for favorite food at home. The staff is usually nice and attentive, at night the music gets a lil bit loud it can be hard to converse with one another, the bathroom layout is different and cool, the "pond" in the middle of the place adds to the decor, and you have to have a swing on one of their chairs in the waiting area. Parking isn't as bad as it might seem, and I wish they had high chairs, but I guess they want to discourage bringing the baby. Overall i love this place
I just celebrated my friend birthday here at SEA. The staffs were really nice. They have the birthday service which if you bring cake, they charge $2 per person and $5 for service with neon bday sign which reasonable price. The food was great I recommend crispy pork belly with Chinese broccoli, and the spicy fried rice with bacon! Da-Best! For the cocktail I tried Aiyara the Queen, it was pretty good. 🙏🏻👍🏻 definitely going back!
I've been coming here for the past 15 years and keep coming back for the food. Food: The Thai food has always been great. From the appetizers to the dessert. If you like noodles, the drunken noodles will wake your palate. The chicken is seasoned and juicy. Dessert, well, it just will not disappoint. The cost is affordable and suitable. Look to spend around $12-18 a dish. Ambience: Dimly lit with house music. Seating for larger groups to seating for two. Great spot for dates if you want to impress. Service: No complaints. Very fast and attentive. Like other reviews, this restaurant is a can't miss!
I went on a Saturday afternoon for a 3pm reservation which I made via open table . The reservation was taken on time, temperature is checked at the door and I was seated close to the middle. There was no spacing of tables between me and the other party but the restaurant does have plastics dividers hanging to provide a barrier. The waiter was attentive and quick with my order . I got the sea wings and spicy chicken fried rice . The wings seemed to be a little over cooked and not as good as I remember but still very tasty . The rice was full of flavor and not as spicy as I anticipated. For drinks I had a Moscow mule it wasn’t really strong but it was tasty . I also had a ploy pai Lin which was extremely strong and very good . Everything was delish, and came out in a timely manner which I appreciated since due to Covid restrictions dining is limited to 90 mins . I would definitely return to try a different selection 😋 happy eating !
We had three different appetizers coconut shrimp, that tamarind spicy mayo was so delicious. We also had the grilled chicken sa-te wrap. Wow, that chicken was grilled to perfection, and you could taste the sweet Curry flavor yum. Our final appetizer was the SEA Chicken. It could have used a little more seasoning, but it was juicy and crispy all at the same time. By this time, we were already full, but I still had to get my Drunken man noodles. OMG, they were soooo good. The level of spice was perfect. It was packed with squid, shrimp, and chicken. The portion size was huge. I almost forgot to tell you about the drinks. They are a must! The Muay Thai taster like Rum Punch I was very happy and the shots tasted like candy buy they were strong!!! All and all I really loved this place. Service was great they were very attentive food came quick and it was hot.
I appreciate the atmosphere that has been created for my family and I. The representatives of the establishment are very hard working and welcoming! They set an amazing example for how restaurants and atmospheres should be!
What an amazing spot! The vibe was everything. Literally the Best Thai food I’ve had in awhile. The spicy fried rice was spicy as hell lol. I under estimated it because most places lie. Overall it had a very nice flavor and you can also taste some of the ginger. Our Mango drink was very good too. Definitely recommend
Fast served and amazing food. Place is very nice and service is great. Food has amazing taste, all of the appetizers especially the tim tum are so good and my favorite dish (drunk man noodle)is one of the best if you like spicey noodles. One of my favorite spots to go when I visit NYC.
The food was amazingggglyyyy delicious ☺. Kids and family friendly environment. Beautiful backdrops and props in the entrance for picture taking. Now, for the good stuff. I was with a party of 5, and i made certain that everyone ordered different dishes so that we can all sample off one another, by far the best decision. The server was nice and patient and swift with the orders. Based off my pictures, it was a packed house and we manage to get all our food within 20-25 mins. Ohhh and their Alcoholic mixed beverages are STRONG, WILD and FREE.(not that free though 😂). Enjoy! You won't be disappointed.
Ahhhh this place is so beautiful🥰😍 and I'm super glad my friend recommended it. We had a bunch of different food and EVERYTHING was delicious, and affordable no lie! We had: 🥄Dumplings 🥄drunken noodles 🥄mixed veggies, which came w. Shrimp and rice. 🥄fried calamari 🥄Sea wings 🥄mojito 🥄whiskey& coke Everything was so tasty and nothing disappointed. Everything was a good size I felt like I could eat much more 🙌🏾💯👌🏾 super satisfied. GREAT customer service, clean establishment. Will be back!!!!
One of my favorite places to eat when I’m in the city. I make it a point to get to Williamsburg to enjoy Thai at Sea’s. I’m never disappointed, food is always fast, fresh and tasty. Great customer service. Have friends coming to the city to visit you. Sea’s is a great choice for a place to eat. Make a reservation, or you might have to wait. But it’s worth it!!!
It was so cool to come back after 20 years and see how everything is pretty much the same. They’ve really kept the essence of the place. The decorations are great, and the ambiance is perfect. And the food? Oh my gosh, it was so tasty and had such a great flavor. The only thing I noticed was that the plates could have been a bit more presentable, but that’s just a minor thing. The crew was super attentive and helpful, and the food wasn’t expensive, so it was a great dinner overall. Thanks a bunch to Ilah, our waitress, she was amazing!
I celebrated my birthday here this past year. It was absolutely amazing. I had an 8:30 PM reservation and some of my guests arrived late. Although I had to wait until my entire party of 8 guests arrived to be seated, I was still able to maintain my reservation and enjoy the night. The food was phenomenal. This is one of my all-time favorite Thai restaurants and I must admit it did not disappoint, it gave “feng shui” vibes. I loved when they sang happy birthday to me. They came out with sparkling candles, and a flower garland for my head. Super cute.
Sea Thai will always be a great place to enjoy great food, drinks and good vibes. Place is always packed, but the wait is worth it. After covid, reservations is definitely recommended but you can walk in and be seated. I ordered a glass of Pinot Noir red wine and for the entree the 6'oclock spicy fried rice with chicken and it was more then enough. Enjoyed everything
Great food and an amazing atmosphere! We came right after opening so had our pick of the place to sit and chose next to the water. Food was very good, and can customize if you aren't into seafood. I got the drunken man noodles with chicken only, and my boyfriend got the green curry. The music was at a reasonable level for talking (man, I'm getting old), and service was attentive but not overbearing. Would definitely recommend!
Met a friend for lunch recently and he chose this place! Food was very tasty! Portion size also was good!! Service was attentive and friendly!!! Pricing was moderately high but given the neighborhood I'm not surprised. The decor and interior was open and airy!!
My all time go to restaurant! I’ve been coming here since 2010. The atmosphere and food never disappoints and it’s always a great place to spend NYE. They’re also great with last minute reservations. I’ve brought so many people here over the years and everyone always loves it! P.S - Please bring back the pistachio icecream with lava cake!
Great spot for dates or a friends' night out. The food and the service were amazing, and our waitress was super nice and friendly. The coconut sticky rice is TOP NOTCH 😋. However, my personal favorite is the Pineapple fried rice with crispy pork belly.
This place has been truly amazingly consistent over the years with its beautiful atmosphere , music, servers and Food ,this place has never failed me or my family , I always love coming here ! I’ve been coming here since before 2010 and I will continue to do so ! Best drinks ever (espresso martini yum) Thankyou SEA!
Sea Restaurant in Brooklyn is a total vibe! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is stylish and energetic, with beautiful décor that makes it feel like a mini escape right in the city. The food is consistently delicious flavorful Thai dishes with great presentation and generous portions. The pad thai and crispy duck are personal favorites, and the cocktails are just as impressive. Service is friendly and efficient, even when it’s busy. Whether you're going for a date night, dinner with friends, or just craving solid Thai food in a cool setting, Sea never disappoints. Highly recommend!
This is a great spot in Williamsburg serving delicious Thai food. Beautifully decorated staff is friendly and attentive. I feel like they have one of the best cocktail menus of any restaurant I've been too and the bartenders are really good at crafting and creating them. One of my favorite places to eat.
Sea Thai came through big time for my birthday. I called super last minute, and they still managed to accommodate my party of 8 with no problem. The vibe was on point—lively, welcoming, and the space is beautiful without trying too hard. The staff made the whole night feel special, and the food was fresh, flavorful, and came out quick. But let’s talk about Javier—the bartender. He makes the best drinks, hands down. That Long Island Thai Tea? Strong, smooth, and unmatched. I came back four days later just to have another round. It’s that good. They really made the night happen—and I’ll definitely be back again.
The dim lights and quietness of this place makes it very Unique. The food is amazing abut the drinks are even better. Parking is hard to find in this area and you might have to park a few blocks away from this restaurant. There are two swings at the entrance where you can take some great photos.

Very nice inexpensive delicious fresh food , the vibe at this place is always cool very lively and the food is always on point !
I didn't try the food, only had a drink which looked very lovely! The place itself is very atmospheric and they have a very interesting looking bathroom. The only thing is we had a late reservation, and they kept rushing us to leave despite having 30 min before closing, even prompting us to tip more...
Loved the place. Beautiful interior design. The food was brought quickly. The food was yummy. I loved the fact there was music playing, so noone has to hear what others are saying. The only thing that needs improvement is the bathroom area. Too dark and tight inside, as well as, having the sinks and the mirrors outside where everyone can see you is kind of awkward. Usually people go to the bathrooms to fix something (clothing, hair, makeup) and it is awkward when there are bunch of people who can stare at you in the mirror. Other than that, it was all good.
the interior is lovely...atmosphere very nice...great for a date...a hang out or family outing. not all food is great. the rolls are great, the seafood pot is yummy, grilled salmon is good...the entrees are very nice. Caesar salad and dried out calamari wasn't great during my visit. sweet sauce...it's pretty much everywhere. definitely recommend.
Service here was amazing! Went here during the day on a Sunday. The servers brought our drinks and appetizers out quickly. I ordered a beverage that I wasn't too fond of because of the lack of ginger and lemonade. It tasted more like seltzer water to be honest. I was able to exchange it and ordered the Muay Tai it had lychee in it, it was amazingly good! I enjoyed the appetizers more so than my meal. I ordered the duck in red sauce and the sauce over powered the entire meal. I was disappointed. However, the crab rangoon, walnut prawns, and tum tum fritters were delicious!
Not a bad place go, especially on a Sunday afternoon. It wasn't crowded at all. The staff was friendly and attentive. Wasn't to crazy about the drinks. Except for the Thai Mule which was very good, The King, and Tut Tut Fun shot tasted more like juice than alcohol. As for the food, The Walnut Shrimp was very good. The Pork Chop was very tender, and the Red Snapper was prepared well. The Atmosphere was very different, compared to most restaurants. Definately felt like I was in a different country. Not bad!
I came here for dinner on Friday evening. I had reservations for two people at 5:30. I was a little late due to rush hour traffic but service was still accommodating which is what blew me away with this restaurant. The parking on the street was bad, so I just ended up parking in the garage. I have an SUV and I paid for 3hrs which totaled to be $27. The way this restaurant was designed is so beautiful. I was able to sit near the water with the boat floating as you can see. It makes the date more intimate definitely a must to sit near. You have to come here for yourself to see how beautiful it was. I had no issues with the bathroom it was fine to me. The service here was good the drink that I got was the Muay Thai and for food I decided to go with pineapple fried rice with shrimp. When I got my food I was given the wrong order they originally gave me the pineapple fried rice with chicken. I told the waitress and she fixed my order immediately. I also tried their Long Island iced tea I wasn’t a fan of it. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to friends and family and I wouldn’t mind coming back here.
Haven't been here in about 6 years. The place still looks the same. Food is good. Price is very reasonable. The only complaint I have is that they use too much sugar in their dishes. Everything tastes sweet even though it is spicy. I ordered the Massaman Curry with Pork Belly amd coconut rice. Like I said it is too sweet for my taste. I mean texture and and spice level is great but only too sugary. The Stuffed Crab Rangoon is a good appetizer to start the main dish. I also got the Calamari Super Bowl. I especially love this because it was done crispy and a, as you guessed it sweet tamarind dipping sauce is provided . Overall it is good place to dine in and try something new from Thailand.
This place has been on my saved list for a long time and I finally decided to go with family on a week night after work. Upon walking in, the first impression is the nice design of the place, large pond in the middle of the restaurant, cute wooden swing next to the restroom area, restrooms were in tree trunk like structures with shared communal sink outside. We ordered a variety of dishes including drinks to get a feel of the style of the restaurant. Overall, the dishes were pretty consistent with your average Thai restaurants. The mule was pretty good but mojito was not. Spare mint, not mojito mint was used in the mojitos and it just did not taste good.
A great restaurant in a nice neighborhood! Cons: such loud music that forget about a conversation with your guests, you can't even hear yourself thinking! Service is decent, although our foods for four came separate and made the moment awkward! Pros : the food was good, it was better than good! Liked it! But due to club like loud drum beats, I won't go there if I'm trying to hold any sort of conversation!
First introduced to this restaurant approximately 10 years ago, it is really satisfying that they still keep the ambiance and congratulations for surviving the Covid pandemic. Food, as always, was delicious, drinks were ok, and in reference to the service, needs to keep an aye on it. Yes, it was a busy night, but there is always room for improvement. I trust that the next time I visit it, it will be way better. Congratulations to the staff and cooks to put all their efforts into its services.
Stopped in for a late night dinner after a concert and there was plenty of space. The decor and pool were cute and would make a fun spot for a date or going out with friends. We both ordered different soups and dumplings. They were good, but nothing extraordinary, and the sauces were on the salty side. There was a broad variety of cocktails and I particularly enjoyed one with lychee and lemon. I'd want to try their mains to get a better picture of their menu.
I love the food there and the decor. I visited SEA several times and the service was great. However, last Sunday it was not. We were there around 5, they were not busy but our waitress was nowhere to be seen. We had to stop another one to place our order and then our waitress comes in with the bill saying that she was leaving and had to close it out. We had to pay tips for the service that was not provided, the waiter she said was replacing her was never introduced and I really felt uncomfortable with this whole experience. But again, the food was amazing!
Very cute spot that myself and friend walked into about 45 mins prior to closing. They took our food and drink orders as soon as we sat down and the food came out quickly. We shared the basil fried rice that was so flavorful and had just the right amount of spice. The drinks were pretty good too, although not sure if there was a lot of alcohol in them. Would definitely come back!
Dope aesthetics, gives a little mix of club like and fine dining vibes. Usually busy in the evening, the wait was around a hour. The drinks were prepared just way I like em, STRONG. The chili wings were very good, I enjoy the flavor of the sauce a lot. The drunk man noodles had tons of flavor and spice to it. My only problem which I can’t put in a picture is the quality of service. Overall I like the spot though food wise, hopefully service is better next time.
The good is nice, the service is good. The restroom is Strange/Novel! The Sea Wings were tasty but get the sauce on the side. The duck Pinang curry was delicious and the cocktails were maybe slightly under-proofed but tasty overall! I AM slightly bothered by what appears to be the gendered nature of the restrooms, although there IS a unisex restroom. I don't think this (pictured) restroom is just for men. Anyhow the food was good but leaving the restaurant, I did observe a Grade Pending sign
They made a stunning entrance . You'll be astounded by the decoration as you walk in. Food was delicious right now. You won't get the authentic Thai cuisine; instead, you'll get a fusion of Thai flavors. But some beverages were enjoyable. The service was really slow. They take far too long. But the staff was friendly. The washroom was confusing. There is no Proper sign. And the placement was bad. By the way, some drinks are mismatched. A lady ordered a virgin drink, but it was served with alcohol; she informed them of this, but they paid no attention. They were confident that they couldn't be worng When the manager eventually showed up, he apologized and gave some discounts. And absolutely everything is good.
We went here for a date. Enjoyed the atmosphere and service, very friendly staff with good prices for the area. We had the Chicken Buns, Jade Dumplings,Green Curry rice with chicken and Shrimp noodles dish. Food was delicious the Jase dumplings were great really loved the sauce 😋. Thank you
Went to Sea Thai in Brooklyn for my friend's birthday. Finding the restaurant was a bit difficult with the bright lights and unique store front. However, once you step inside, it is very beautiful. The bathrooms are off to one side, with a DJ booth on the other side. You can be seated by the center pool area or at a table/booth on either side. The food, while a bit pricey, was large in portions and very delicious! My friends and I shared the Stuffed Crab Rangoon, Sea Chicken Wings, Siam Crispy Pork Belly Salad, and Classic Tom Yum Soup. The Stuffed Crab Rangoon was, by far, the best. A light crispy skin with a soft filling of crab meat, scallion, and cream cheese inside. The honey chili sauce made it taste even better. The Sea Chicken Wings were crispy, juicy, and full of flavors. We also ordered the Royal Pork Red Curry, Red Curry Pineapple Duck, Seafood Rice Pot, Seafood Combo, and the Siamese Fried Rice. I loved the Royal Pork Red Curry. The Thai red curry was smooth and creamy, with a very light kick. The apple, pineapple, basil, and crispy pork belly were all delicious and, when added to the rice, were heavenly. The Seafood Rice Pot was better than expected. A huge variety and portion of shrimp, squid, fillet of white fish, mushroom, and mixed vegetables were placed over jasmine rice. A heaping of gravy sauce was drizzled over the entire bowl, making everything balance out perfectly. I do wish they made the restaurant a bit brighter. Other than that, perfect service and delicious food. I plan on returning to try their other specialties!
Food came out fresh and quick. Wasnt packed when I went. I didn’t need to reserve either and still got lucky by sitting next to the “pool”. It’s a nice cute little pond inside. Cute atmosphere and staff was friendly. Will come back here
This place is absolutely beautiful, I’m glad I came during a non busy lunch time. The food was great as well and I was super glad they came with delicious appetizers. The chicken pad Thai was nice, but a bit bland, but I would still recommend it. Wasn’t too happy about the expectancy of tip despite it already being added into the bill when there was not much costumer service interaction. The appetizers saved the meal and were the best part.
I was excited to see that Sea Thai was still around because I hadn't been in at least 15 years. The decor can use a bit of a touch up, but I love the reflection pool and Buddha, and the swings add a nice touch. The food was fresh and tasty, but we found the sauces to be overly sweet. The portions are generous. Service is very attentive, and the food came out very quickly. They also did a lovely job at dessert time by adding sparklers to the dessert and bringing a fun light-up birthday sign to the table. We will be back!
The service was excellent—the servers were very attentive and patient with us. The food was enjoyable overall. We tried the pad thai, which had shrimp and chicken; it was good but could use a bit more flavor, in my opinion. The drunken noodles, made with chicken, shrimp, and squid, were definitely on the spicier side—perfect if you enjoy heat. The tom yum soup was packed with seafood and absolutely delicious. However, the female bathroom needed attention, as there was a full roll of toilet paper in the toilet, and the area wasn't very clean. There was also a DJ playing very loud music, which felt a bit confusing since there wasn’t a dance floor. If you don't mind loud music while dining, it’s a fun spot overall.

The food is okay- ambiance is alright, overall 2/3 out of 5 experience. I feel like the food could be better but feels like some apps missed flavors.

I can here alone. The ambiance was incredibly intimate and beautiful. I am on the heavy side and the booth seats are narrow. Enough space between tables. I did not have a reservation and was seated…
Really liked the vibe of the place — relaxed but stylish. Cocktails were well made, and the fried rice with duck and the curry were both very tasty. Overall a good experience, woul come back.
Let's be clear this place is BEAUTIFUL ! But if you don't like Tai food don't eat here, I had to learn the hard way.. everything was plated beautifully and fresh but the flavors was just not for me. A ketchup sauce on a broiled seafood combo ? I don't get it and the wonton bowl it was served on top of had duck sauce underneath. Just alot going on but I enjoyed the atmosphere and the drinks
This was my second time at this restaurant. It's been many years since the last time I ate here. The crab rangoons did not taste the way I remembered them. They were not good. The outer layer was too thin and the filling was very bland. The honey chili sauce served with the rangoons didn't help with the taste. The Patpong green curry was good! My niece had the wings and pineapple fried rice. She said the wings were crispy and good.
The past time I came here was 13 years ago. Then I thought it was amazing. Now I think it is 3.5 stars. As a vegetarian there are now much better options in New York. We spent circa 40usd each including tip. This was for a drink each, 1 starter and 2 mains, rice and noodles. Our favourite was the vegetarian duck. We came for a late lunch around 3ish and did not book. We were luck enough to sit by the pool which was really nice. I would recommend you sit by the pool if you can. Worth a visit if in the area.
Very nice atmosphere in the restaurant. Very nice decor once you walk in. A lot of amazing areas you can take some nice pictures. Upon checking in for our reservation we learned someone had supposedly already checked in under our name so we had to wait a little to sort out. But once seated it was in a very awkward table in the center of like 5 other small tables. We were a party of 5. The space seemed very cramp but we still had a good time. They prepared very nice and tasty drinks. They have a large variety of drink that seems very delicious and picture worthy. The food was good. We ordered some appetizers and they came out very fast. They were really good for the most party. Then we placed our entree orders and the food came out really fast again. I was a little nervous in the rate of turn around in orders. I know we want our food to come out asap but this seemed a little to fast! The food was good it was very tasty. But it wasn’t anything that left me wanting more or saying I have to come back. The food was a touch better than your regular Asian take out place in your neighborhood. I really wanted coconut shrimp but they were sold out. Which seemed weird for something so common to serve at a restaurant. But then they had other shrimp dishes which confused me. Like what did you run out of that you can’t make the coco shrimp!?! Weird! Our waiter was extremely slow and consistently kept forgetting about us. It took like 20-30 minutes just to get and another 20-30 minutes just to pay the bill. Overall I don’t think I would personally make plans to come back here but wouldn’t be mad if I was invited here again. If that makes sense.
Sea is an experience, without question. The restaurant is nicely appointed. This was my third visit there and, as an out of towner, I was excited because my previous experiences were outstanding. Unfortunately, this time was different. The food was disappointing. Presentation was lackluster and taste did not measure up. The whole snapper was rubbery and not flavorful. The basil eggplant was not good, at all. I took one bite and the rest was brought home and trashed. The Grilled Salmon was too salty and slightly overcooked. To their defense, it was later in the evening so the service was good but not excellent.
Went for a weekend for lunch special. The food was okay. I ordered the curry and wished they gave a little bit more rice. Place was quiet but ambience was missing something. Maybe some better lighting or some more green around the water. I can see that maybe it's more of a night time spot.
Food was delicious. They actually got better. I use to come here all the time many years ago. Place was empty for a Friday night usually pretty packed from what I could remember. Drinks were pretty good also I’ve had worse. The place needs an upgrade. It was cool back in the early 2000’s but they need a new look. Menus looked horrible old water logged menus just makes the experience feel like a diner. Place doesn’t look clean also saw a critter around the table when about to leave. Waitress wasn’t the best didn’t check up on us after we got our food and drinks. Our drinks were done for like 15 min only the busboy came. No reason why we have to signal for her if our drinks are done and we need napkins. Definitely needs improvement in cleanliness and etiquette.
We ordered the Shrimp Siu Mai as an appetizer, and unfortunately, it didn’t meet our expectations. It didn’t taste fresh, and the accompanying sauce was overly sweet, which we didn’t enjoy. If you don’t like extremely sweet flavors, I would suggest skipping this dish. For our entrees, we had the Pad Thai and Nabon Noodles, both of which were excellent—great taste and very fresh. We also tried the Singha beer for the first time, and it was really good. The service was generally good, but a bit rushed. They cleared our plates while we were still eating and almost took our beers while there was still some left in the bottle. I appreciate efficient service, but this felt a bit too hurried. Overall, the place is nice and spacious with a good ambiance.
This restaurant has been around for some time. It still feels trendy and it’s huge inside with a bar in the front and even bigger one in the back. Classic commercial Thai food at normal prices for this day and age. Late dinners have a raunchy playlist so beware of you are bringing kids. The dishes are large and sized to share. The whole snapper is pretty good. The shrimp taste like they are farm raised. Service is slow even though there are many employees moving about. We didn’t have a reservation and got seated right away in the 7 pm hour. Street parking and garages nearby if you don’t use car service or local transit. Handful of restrooms in the front by the bar. Cool place for gathering.
The food has decent flavor depending on the items I personally enjoyed my dish however the people I went with both times all said their meals were lacking. The drinks were okay, but the visuals are…
The food here never disappoints, but the service has gone down hill. I've been visiting Sea for about 20 years and the food remains consistent. But service, not so much. We had reservations to sit …
We made reservations for 7pm which was honored at our arrival at 6:30pm. The establishment was semi full. Once seated the table was a tad sticky and no one wiped it down. Our waitress came over to take our beverage orders and this middle aged gentleman came over and pushed her so hard she almost fell. We found this rude and quite disgusting. He in turn became our waiter and was not fond with his service or his comprehension of the items we wanted. We ordered the chicken and the duck which was over cooked and not tasty at all. We also ordered the shrimp shumai which was hard and not cooked properly. We ordered two alcoholic beverages which came super watery and in small glasses. The place is beautiful and the decor is great however the food, service and beverage services were horrendous. We highly recommend another Thai restaurant for your enjoyment. The two stars are awarded because of the horrible service and the food was not great at all.
I have been to this location twice once for my anniversary and recently for New Year’s Eve when I went for my anniversary the atmosphere was incredible and the restaurant was beautiful and the food Was good however, nothing exceptional. the service was okay too. My most recent experience on New Year’s Eve, However, was extraordinarily disappointing. The atmosphere is still beautiful and the service was still OK. However, this time the food was abysmal. I got the seafood mix dish. It was called the Brooklyn something and my partner got the drunken noodle with tofu. The food was extremely poor. It was definitely not worth the price and we both ended up not finishing our meals purely because it was so unsatisfactory. the drunken noodle with tofu lacked any sort of flavor And both our dishes Seem to be rushed and brought out within five minutes of ordering it. I attempted to call the restaurant and speak to a manager about this and I was told that they were very busy and that I would receive a call back later on. I never received a call back. The person talking to me on the phone asked me what my table number was, and who my waiter was, and took down all my information, including my phone number however, I never got a call back. I was waiting to write this review based off of how they would handle my experience, but not calling me back has certainly sealed my decision into giving this place a two Star. The experience was extremely disappointing, and I would not recommend going to this place. To be fair, the atmosphere is one of the best I have ever seen in New York, but the food and service left much to be desired. Overall, I would not recommend this Restaraunt if you are looking for quality food.
I had a meal here a while ago. The food was good and the atmosphere was great, had good time wkth my friends, but at the end as we were getting up, we saw a giant cockroach on the wall, it was absurd, we were in shock, and no employee seemed to have noticed it. We ran away immediately and didn’t look back.. photo is just to prove that I was there.
Ordered a drunken noodle dish, it had what looks like a piece of plastic. Seems like the corner of a zip ziplock type of bag. Won't be getting food from there again.

I ordered salmon and mixed vegetables. Honestly I'm in disbelief, because wtf is this?!!!!!
When today after a while, food was very nasty. The duck is not the same tasty as before and the calamari also very bad. No flavor. It's all greasy!!!\nThey might change the chef .\nThe waitress ver…
This place is garbage. Customer service is worst than a takeout place. experience I ever had in any restaurant and the food is not that great either. And the tip came out more than any dish I ordered

The food was good. We paid for the meal. We prefer to give tips in cash. Unfortunately we didn't have any. The waiter/hostess ran us down and attacked us for a tip. Then she stated she doesn't work for free like we didn't pay for the bill for our food. That will be the last time we dine there. That was unprofessional!
The food at Sea Thai Restaurant was good and the service was friendly, but I was disappointed to be charged extra for using my credit card instead of paying cash. There was no clear sign or notice about this fee, and I only found out when it came time to pay. I understand businesses have processing costs, but it would be much better if this policy was clearly stated upfront. It left a negative impression after an otherwise nice meal.
After having been to SEA multilple times, I was surprised by how much it has changed. The food was mediocore, lacking were the flavors SEA has been known for. We ordered : Curry Puffs , these were awful. They tasted of aluminum (like taken out of a packaged, tossed in a fryer then served). The TumTum Fritters-just ok. Fried Rice with Shrimp- My sister found a big chunk of ginger in her rice, generally they would be diced up. Paid Thai(Tofu)- bland. The Service- non existent (the place was not busy), our waitress only showed up 2x's , we had no re-fills of water for quite some time. Perhaps they changed management, Generally SEA was known to be packed, literally. Patrons would be spilling onto the side-walk, Surprisingly , for a Friday night, one could move around freely. Gone is that vibe. Pros- The DJ.
I had a terrible experience here on my birthday. I burned my hand and it took about 30 minutes to get a first aid kit. When we asked for help, the staff seemed annoyed, didn’t apologize, and didn’t check on me properly. They still tried to charge us the full bill, and the manager only offered 40% off. Overall the service was disrespectful and the worst birthday dinner I’ve had. I don’t recommend this place.
This has always been one of my favorite restaurants, and I’ve recommended it to others many times. However, after my experience last night, my feelings have completely changed. Discovering fake seafood in my meal was extremely disappointing and unacceptable. The scallops and crab were not real, and that alone ruined the entire experience for me. When you’re paying for seafood, you expect authenticity and honesty, not imitation products being passed off as the real thing. It feels misleading and disrespectful to customers who trust the quality of the food being served. Unfortunately, this experience has made me rethink supporting this restaurant going forward. Once trust is broken, it’s hard to enjoy a place the same way again.
I wanna give this restaurant a 0, because, first off i celebrated my daughter 16th birthday there, service was HORRIBLE. Our server was not there most of the time, we have to look for her and waited almost 1 hour for her attention. secondly, I brought my own cake which i had to pay for for them to keep , at the end when they brought the cake out, it was melthed, they never put in the freezer (again i paid for it for them to keep refrigerated) i can go on and on of all the horrible mistakes, but let me stop here.
Honestly, I am very angry with my visit today. This place is nothing like it used to be before. The food is not what it used to be and taste is no good, drinks are overpriced and not good enough. Service was what upset me… it was 4 adults and 1 8 year old child. Waiter came to take our order and disappeared the whole time. We did not receive napkins as I asked politely nor did we receive any service whatsoever. The only time someone came to the table was the busboy when we were ready to leave and annoyed. After she (the waiter) looked at us and saw we were annoyed she then asked if everything was ok. I just asked for the check and come to find out the bill came out to $200 with tip. I will never complain to pay a bill if the food is good and service is good I even tip up to 25 percent but for them to add automatically 20% and not even walk to the table ONCE is crazy. I told her I will pay everything but next time with others if they want to automatically add 20 percent tip to actually give service. I was very upset and disappointed. This restaurant is not worth it don’t waste your time. There are wayyyy better thai restaurants out there. Will never go back !
