It's really good and a good spot. We were originally supposed to go to Giovannis but because it was new years eve it was packed the owner recommended we go there. And we're glad we went. All of us enjoyed the food, the wine, and it was nice they had a kids menu. It was also a really cute spot. Perfect for dates. I'll be back, for sure.

Sophia was our waitress this evening and she was simply splendid! The whole family of staff tending my fiancé, Ian, and I were unbelievably attentive and made sure to make us feel like the only two people there each moment. The night was made special with nods to the bartender, hostess, and kitchen which seemed to work all as one. We left feeling like we’d just left our favorite relatives house. This place is a gem with authentic Italian cuisine in an unassuming neighborhood with a quaint, quiet, and romantic atmosphere. It was as if every detail of our evening was planned just as we could have imagined it, except, it wasn’t planned at all. 💜

my boyfriend and I were here for the first time and really enjoyed the experience. The food was superb and the staff was even better. We were treated like royalty. The salmon and sole were excellent. We had hot apple pie. We are looking forward to coming back

The best little Italian spot in Park Slope. The food is delicious. Amid gives the best service ever. Makes you feel like you're home! Love this family owned piece of Italy in the middle of Park Slope. A must go to.

I wanted to leave a review for Sotto Voce whose food and service blew me away. I planned a picnic for my birthday but got rained out last minute. I tried to pivot to a bar next door to Sotto Voce but they turned us away due to having a dog. Sotto Voce not only accommodated our furry guest but also accommodated 12 people on a short notice. The service was fantastic and our waiter made the whole experience so much fun. I was truly having a little bit of a meltdown trying to find cover from the rain and I'm forever grateful for Sotto Voce for saving the day. I will be back often now.

Had a good dinner there with some friends, portions were good. The waiter and staff were phenomenal, very eager to help and help us find what we wanted to eat. Food was tasty, and not too saucy like some Italian places can be.

The absolute best dining experience in a long time! I felt welcomed and like family. The service was exceptional, it was truly the old NYC feel. The food was incredible, from the bread and magic sauce, to the baked clams, the 4 cheese ravioli with grilled shrimp! And of course tiramisu and hazelnut gelato to go along with my espresso and Frangelico (see below). It is an absolute treasure in Brooklyn! Come and check this place out, you will leave with a new sense for life. It’s about sitting down and truly enjoying the meal, that’s the Italian way! <3

Nice outdoor patio. We got a bottle of Prosecco that was reasonably priced. We got the calamari which was only ok and the eggplant pasta which was great. Solid location and fast service.

If I could give this restaurant more stars, I would. The clams oreganata are fantastic, as was the lasagna, filet of sole, seafood over linguine, oricheitte with sausage and brocoli rabe and the desserts. The staff was great and friendly. Do not skip this place!

I can't say enough how marvelous this place was. Authentic beautiful Italian food and hospitality. The owner was so gracious and bestowed on us numerous complimentary items. It was a lovely reunion with friends and we got the royal treatment there like we were family. Go if you have the chance! The purses with gorgonzola, pears and walnuts was exquisite! All the desserts were amazing so leave room!

The host alone made the lunch experience worthwhile. He recited a litany of daily offerings and specials with ease and genuine love for the work. Our meals were exceptional as was the palate sorbet refresh surprise at the end. Bravo!

New to Brooklyn from TN. By far our favorite restaurant. The only thing better than the food is the customer service! We took our friends there when they were visiting and they loved it! My in laws are in town and we have reservations for today (Easter). Can’t wait to share this incredible place with them. We are lifetime customers.

Stopped in b/c my son really wanted fettuccine alfredo and in the end all of the food and drink we tried was so amazing!!! Another customer was rude to the owner so afterwards the owner came over and gave us dessert and drinks on the house just for having to witness that. He was so kind and we really enjoyed talking to him.

Group dinner...only 1 of us had been there before. We all enjoyed our different entrees & wine choices, the ambience, music, and service. Cozy, comfortable, welcoming atmosphere. Accommodating. Helpful. Knowledgeable. I had one of best dinners out in a very long time...top notch. It was one of the specials of the day ... the scrumptious cheese filled sacchetini in a gorganzola cream sauce, with poached pears & walnuts. Our group shared appetizers of fried zucchini and calamari- fresh & also delicious. Nice variety of desserts but the gelato wirh pear tart was my favorite and provided a perfect ending to my meal. Well worth the trip to Park Slope.

Had the BEST experience at this restaurant, moments ago, I am writing this in my Lyft!! That’s how good it was! For starters, the gentleman that helped us went into detail about all their specials. We found this place on a whim, we wanted to eat pasta and we didn’t expect it to be so authentic! But this restaurant knows what they’re doing 🫶 the hospitality is SUPERB, and although I had plans after and couldn’t stay for dessert…the gentleman still brought us over a dessert to try and WOW. Deserves all the stars in the world, thank you for making this a highlight of my day!! Will rave about this place forever! Love, Aurora

Words cannot describe what an incredible experience this restaurant was. We had a birthday dinner here and the staff was absolutely wonderful!!! The birthday girl said “it was the best birthday dinner she’s had in her entire life” the staff is friendly, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is perfect. I’ll be coming back here every chance I get :) Try the Sacetini!!

Definitely one of the better restaurants in Brooklyn for pasta and well done cuisine. Highly recommend this place. Food, service, and atmosphere is great. The owner and his daughter Sofia were just great. Always make us feel like friends.

So far this is the best Italian restaurant I've been to in Park Slope. Their prices are very competitive, the portions aren't outrageously enormous, the flavors are very well balanced. I had the Ceasars salad to start, the bolognese pasta as the main course and topped off with tartufo. All were divine. The staff and owner are very warm and welcoming. What more can I say?

The whole Sotto Voce experience is fabulous. The staff can’t do enough, especially Ahmed, the proprietor. His description of his menu makes you want to order everything. Nothing will disappoint, including the homemade biscotti and tiny cannolis. Go, feast, enjoy.

Wonderful restaurant! The food was sensational and the owner was warm and friendly! I said I wasn’t a dessert fan and he gave me a sample of the most incredible tasting apple crumble styled sorbet! I was visiting my brother in hospital and having a meal alone, yet it felt cosy and inviting and super welcoming! I recommend everyone to come here!!

I had a wonderful experience here with my family. This was one of our favorite restaurants when we lived in Park Slope and we had many fun times at this restaurant. It was great coming back and experiencing such delicious food. We had the fried calamari and bruschetta to start. Then we had the gamberetti pasta, penne Florentina and the Sea bass. I called earlier to ask if kids were allowed, and the owner said absolutely and there were also other kids eating there too. It’s a lovely family friendly restaurant with delicious food.

Went to Soto Voce when we were staying in Brooklyn for a few days—met up with our son-in-law’s parents for a late lunch. The food was great, but the experience was even better!! Our server was terrific and the whole experience was a treat. We ordered lasagna, pappardelle, and ravioli as well as appetizers (calamari, rollatini) and dessert (sorbet, tiramisu, and hazelnut and cinnamon ice cream, which was my favorite). Not a bad dish in the bunch. I’d love to go back, but we’re in the last 24 hours of our stay. If we come back to stay in Brooklyn again, we’ll come back to Sotto Voce, for sure!

This is a staple in Park Slope. I've been coming here for decades but have never written a review about it. Excellent food for very moderate prices- particularly for this neighborhood. The only thing that could make this place better is maybe a happy hour or an early bird dinner special. Servers are friendly and welcoming. There are so many new restaurants in this neighborhood yet, I continue to return here. I recommend any pasta or fish dish. They also have wonderful specials that change daily. Featured in this review is potato encrusted salmon. YUM. Simply Amazing.

There’s nowhere better in Park Slope to get an innovative take on traditional Italian food. The wait staff at Sotto Voce is knowledgeable, friendly, and so welcoming to us as neighbors in the community. Their famous tomato dip - served complimentary with bread - is so delicious, they let you try and guess the “secret ingredient” for a small prize. We couldn’t get it - but it hardly mattered bc the dip is so yummy! Pasta dishes and all their special entrees are to die for. And dare I say the best Tiramisu in all of Brooklyn. We came at noon on a Tuesday for lunch and a bottle of Prosecco. It was quiet, and the outdoor seating was peaceful.

Amazing place. So personal and service was so good. Great people and food is all we need. The food was great, you need to try the Smoked Salmon and Fissuli pasta like. The cheesecake is to die for. Well be back soon.

My sister and I was waiting for my mom to get out of her surgery and we stumbled upon one of the best Italian restaurants we have ever been to. Not only was the food impeccable, the service was outstanding from the time we stepped foot in the door the owner was extremely welcoming, very friendly, generous, and made you feel like you were having Sunday dinner at grandmas. Our server Sophia …our new bffs 😊.. was so knowledgeable of all the specials and food even played guess the surprise ingredient. Coming here during a worrisome time waiting for my mom to get out of surgery really put our minds at ease! We would highly recommend coming here and we are definitely coming back with our family to enjoy again sooner than later!

Being my first time in this neighborhood, I had no expectations. We read the menu outside, it seemed to have some appealing pasta dishes, and thought, why not? Upon entering we could not have felt more welcome, and quickly we were shown to a really good table. Excellent first impression. The Spaghetti Rustici was so good I’m still thinking of it 7 hours later. Freshness, balance, presentation… all brilliant. The Apple pie and espresso completed what I had now expected. Fresh, authentic, and clearly prepared thoughtfully with great care. As if I was at a dinner party for a friend who was a superb cook.

Price: Specials run from 25+ — regular dinner 13+ Food: delicious. Great burrata, and seafood linguine Accessibility: can fit small wheelchair, in order to use the bathroom, have to be really good at maneuvering or be assisted — small entry space Staff: busy — but it’s a family owned restaurant, our server blue was great. Notes: when you wanna eat Italian but want a grandma/family feel and vibe - this is the place to go. It’s a place to take time, relax and enjoy great food.

Great atmosphere, delicious food, and the warmest service. I’ve never been so inclined to write a review before. The staff was very welcoming, the heated outdoor dining felt super comfortable, and the food was top notch. The price point is more than fair and the food was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend the malt wine!

This place exceeded our expectations. Our group of five tried a range of menu items, and every single dish was a hit! The fact that they also offer a longer than expected list of equally delicious desserts was a delightful surprise. The owner/manager's genuine warmth and his daughter's helpfulness made us feel right at home. This family-run establishment provided a truly exceptional experience, and we'll definitely be back when we're in NYC again!

We are visiting from the UK and a friend of ours who used to live in New York recommended here as he used to eat here regularly. We had lunch here today and he was spot on with his recommendation! The food was absolutely delicious and portions were spot on. The pasta was cooked perfectly and the deserts were yummy - particularly the apple pie! My main reason for leaving this review though is the service - particularly to the young girl that was serving us (I think her name was Sophia?). She was so polite and competent. She really took care of us and knew what she was doing. I really wanted to give her a special shout out! We hope we will visit again in the future and will be recommending to any of our friends visiting New York too!

We called a few hours earlier on a Friday night for last minute reservations and they were able to take us (party of 3). When we got there we were nervous because it was pretty empty so didn't know what to expect even though the reviews seemed decent. We were unimpressed by the appetizers (calamari and bruschetta) but our pastas made up for it, in fact we were blown away by how delicious all of our pastas were! We got the penne alla vodka, penne fiorentina, and the fettuccine bolognese. All three were incredibly rich and delicious! Both the penne pastas were soo creamy but the fiorentina was the one that caught us by surprise! It had a very unique light pesto flavor that neither of us had tasted before so we were glad we listened to the other positive reviews and went for it! I highly recommend this place, service was also great, very friendly and beautiful ambience! Will definitely be back! Picture also includes a side of creamy garlic mashed potatoes and extra meatballs which were also wonderful!

Hands down the best Italian restaurant in Park Slope . Always greeted and taken care of right away. This place goes above and beyond for it's customers... I went on my birthday this year and it was great.. last week late night walked by and they are closing... The owner was nice enough to still sell me some cheese cake. Well be back

I was at the Brooklyn Museum and craving Italian after my visit and Sotto Voce was a 20-minute walk away and close to an F/G subway stop so I reserved a table using Google. It was easy to find and I was there at around 4 pm so there was just me, someone at the bar, a table that had just checked out, and another with 2 diners so it felt safe. Anaci was my server (I think he’s also an owner) and he was very convivial. The place is nice, like a Mom and Pop and the menu was easy to navigate. Anaci rattled off the specials and he had me at LASAGNA. I had a very good Chianti with it and not the wine and pasta were absolutely delicious. I ordered the apple pie (touted as Brooklyn’s best) but it looked old as the crust was soggy. It did taste good as did the cinnamon gelato that came with it. The meal was pricey but I was totally satisfied. Would definitely go again. Grazie!

Returning to Sotto Voce after 25 years was like stepping back in time. This restaurant was an absolute favorite during our time in Brooklyn, and on a recent visit to New York, we had to go back. To our immense joy, it felt like nothing had changed – even the owner's warm smile and incredible hospitality were just as we remembered. He made us feel like cherished guests from the moment we walked in. The evening was a culinary delight, from the incredible appetizers to the delicious main courses, the perfect desserts and even accompanying dessert wine. We were served by his daughter, whose professionalism and attentiveness were truly remarkable. The food itself was, of course, outstanding. My beloved Chicken Sotto Voce was as delicious as ever, and the pasta with vodka sauce was declared by my daughter to be the best she ever tasted. My husband and son were equally impressed with their choices. It's a testament to their dedication that Sotto Voce continues to deliver such a high standard of quality. Here's to many more years of this Brooklyn gem! We are eagerly anticipating our next visit!

Absolutely amazing. Ambiance, staff, and food. Old school service friendly and attentive. Amazing food, wouldn't even refer to the menu unless you find yourself craving something specific because the specials were/are surprising and legitimately amazing, from the appetizer to the dessert, spoiled for choice and flavor. Though the classics don't disappoint but shine, the homemade pastas with proper sauces are incredible. Quash the craving of old school Italian with new influence and freshness there.

This was my second time frequenting this establishment and it didn't disappoint. I fell in love on my first visit with the calamari and zucchini fries and had to have them again... amaziiiiiiing!! We had a delicious spread...

I love SotoVoce!! We had my daughter’s bridal shower here. They treated us like family, attending to every little detail💕 I am sure to visit SottoVoce every time I am in Brooklyn! Had a wonderful birthday dinner at Sotto Voce last night! The staff were very friendly and made sure we knew about all their nightly specials. The food was spectacular from the appetizers and salad to amazing entrees and of course dessert! We enjoyed a few bottles of wine and lemon cello shots on the house for my birthday. Great place for a special occasion or just a great dinner out. My daughter lives across the street and I will definitely be back when I’m visiting Brooklyn.

Great Pasta restaurant for the area. Came here for Mother's Day. I got the Frutta di mare linguine, my girlfriend got the Linguine with meatballs. Not pictured was the fried calamari & fried zucchini appetizer that we demolished because we were pretty cold in the tent we were in. Luckily we asked to turn on the heat lamp they have above the tables.

Amazing Italian! Many delicious vegetarian options and super warm hospitality. Received a complimentary tiramisu and round of champagne from the manager, and everything from the starter bread salsa to the penne a vodka was delicious. Fabulous specials. Thank you!

I just came back from traveling in Italy and this place rivals the restaurants I ate at in Rome and Sardinia! The best Italian food I’ve had in New York so far after 3 years living here. I had a special ravioli with burrata inside and a Gorgonzola sauce with poached pears. So unique and incredible. The service was very friendly and authentic. I don’t live close by but I will be making a special trip back out specifically to eat here!!

Awesome, amazing, authentic family owned Italian restaurant. My family has been coming here for over 20 years and we are never disappointed. What an authentic Italian dinner and experience. The service was off the charts and we were treated again and again with little extras with our meal. As visitors in Park Slope, we wanted Italian for dinner. Boy, did we choose well! We had an outstanding meal this evening! We started with a red sangria and their unique twist on a cosmopolitan; both were very good. For starter, we had the well-dressed bruschetta and a side of their delicious "magic sauce". I enjoyed the wonderful homemade Lasagna...my go-to Italian. My wife ordered their exquisite Sacchetini in a Gorgonzola cheese sauce with poached pears and walnuts. It was Devine! They finished strong! We had their chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream which was good. However, the other dessert we had for the first-time anywhere was their remarkable, unique, and oh-so delicious Tartufo...a must have! Of course the quality of the food was matched by the quality of the service from the manager, Arturo (sp?], and the waitress whose name escapes me. You have to try this restaurant!

The food was incredible. The service was second to none. We came here for Christmas Day dinner with the family and their Christmas Menu was delightful. So many great choices! And don't get me started with the desserts! I had the Panettone but the Tiramisu looked amazing as well. We all left the dishes squeaky clean! A bit pricey but worth it, especially for Christmas;

🎶 You wanna go where everybody knows your name 🎶. That’s how you’ll feel from the moment you walk in the door at Sotto Voce. Anaci will greet you warmly and launch your enjoyment of the most pleasant and delicious meals from his amazingly long list of excellent specials - from apps through desserts everything is house made and delicious. He’s a great culinary guide for even the most sophisticated diners - let him suggest a dish to riff on whatever you might fancy on any given day. Don’t overlook his wine selections and save room for some fabulous desserts (which we love to pair with one of his lovely dessert wines). So glad we live in this neighborhood and can easily meet up with friends to enjoy truly outstanding hospitality and cuisine. Unlike many other good Park Slope restaurants this one will not break the bank. Never disappointed here!

What an incredible experience. We came here for my birthday dinner and the manager took care of our table, thoroughly explained each dish and special in detail for those of us who are new to fine dining. The service was incredible and hospitable 🙏 The food was immaculate in every way and flavours on point in each dish! Appetizers we had were brushetta, burrata, and garlic bread which were all fantastic light bites packed with delicate dainties. Our main courses through the table were fettuccine Alfredo with grilled chicken which isn’t exactly in the menu however I’m so grateful to the cooks in the kitchen who made it special for me 🥹💖 The lasagne was beefy, saucy and rich, and the salmon which was served with a decadent sauce so good you almost want to lick the plate! This restaurant is truly outstanding and the manager surprised us with new items to expand our taste palette including a lemon sorbet at the end of our meal! 🎉 I’m so grateful to have had this experience last night and I highly recommend SottoVoce to anyone who desires an amazing fine dining experience with an atmosphere of care and hospitality like no other ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Stumbled in after an afternoon in Prospect Park and was not disappointed. Amazing neighborhood and family friendly restaurant with Star treatment right from the start. The owner is charismatic and sat us down and walked us through the menu and was so nice and friendly. Gave us a very generous pouring of a taste of wine that was essentially a full glass. Gave us free dessert and checked on us the whole time .

We had dinner Sunday evening with another couple. We were greeted by a very friendly staff and then one of the owners who went over the menu and made suggestions. The food was terrific including the lamb shank special. The recommended wine was a perfect compliment to the meal and the deserts were marvelous. We definitely will return soon!

Great neighborhood / local spot. The owners are so warm and welcoming. Pasta dishes and eggplant rollatini are delicious. Pistachio tartufo is the best I’ve ever had. Whether it’s a date night or you have a family - it’s the best Italian meal.

Went for a lunch on a day-off. Very good food and personable service. I live nearby but have never stopped by until today. Will try dinner with friends next time!

This place is exceptional. A true hidden gem. The owner personally walked us through the menu and I had the homemade Sacchettoni. Everything from the wine to the pasta to the bread and olive oil was reminiscent of being in Italy. Can't wait to return!

We had a wonderful family dinner here on a weeknight and couldn’t have been more pleased. The service was excellent: attentive, friendly, and perfectly paced. The quiet, relaxed ambiance made it easy to enjoy conversation and linger over our meal. Everything came together to create a lovely evening. Highly recommend for anyone looking for authentic Italian food in a welcoming, peaceful setting.

Came here one evening after a busy work week. First time visiting. Everything was lovely, the ambiance, the food, the service and the attentiveness. The pasta I had was just as lovely as pasta I’ve had in Italy. Honestly. I had a wonderful time. 10/10

Words cannot express how amazing this place is, especially the owner who is so welcoming and always happy to go over the menu + specials of the day. I wish I took more photos but was too busy enjoying my food and drinks. Will come back again 1000/10

This is my favorite meal I’ve ever had in NYC. We selected this restaurant purely based on a craving for pasta and the fact that we could have our dog outdoors with us. It was the GREATEST decision we ever made. The service was authentic, genuine and we shared a true human connection throughout our lunch with the GM. The food was incredible. We ate every single bite! The artichoke appetizer was so fresh and flavorful. He shared their “magic sauce” with us with bread and it was impossible to stop eating it. I had the penne alla vodka which I will forever dream about. My husband had a homemade pasta with sausage, mushrooms and a cream sauce. We were totally blown away by the flavors and quality of the ingredients. The tiramisu was like eating a literal cloud, so light and fluffy! I can’t say enough nice things about SottoVoce. I highly recommend coming here for lunch or dinner! I’ll be back every time we come to New York.

My sister and I are regulars here. This is hands down our favorite Italian restaurant in Brooklyn! We’ve tried many different dishes on the menu, and each one has been phenomenal! And, make sure you try their delicious homemade desserts!! Not only is the food amazing, but the ambience and service are bar none. This restaurant has the best manager there is! He always makes us feel right at home and his energy is contagious. He is so warm and welcoming and ensures that you have the best dining experience. We’d eat here daily if we could!

On vacation in NYC, we passed through Brooklyn. The food here is particularly delicious: special mention for the lasagna and the slice of apple pie with cinnamon ice cream. If you want to taste Italian cuisine this restaurant is a must. Thank you for your kindness and your smile!

Simply Superb! The food is downright delicious. Take one bite and be transported to a traditional Italian home cooked meal in Nonna's kitchen. Although there were only 2 people serving all tables during our visit, the service was warm and friendly. The bread is fresh, crispy toasted crust, soft and delicate inside, served with a delicate sweet tomato sauce mixed with herbs and olive oil. Must try - the tastiest bruschetta. Calamaris - fresh, cooked to perfection and served with fried zucchini. The vodka sauce and pasta was one of the best I have savored. Also recommend the pesto sauce. The Tiramisu, very delicious, is worth mentioning -- a good portion to share if you are full from your meal but still have space for some sweets. SottoVoce exceeded my expectations for a NY Italian restaurant. You'll be glad you visited.

Amazing customer service, fantastic food, and a great location for people watching (if you sit outside). I'm not sure if he was the owner or a manager, but our server was one of the nicest people I've ever met, with a genuine excitement to share his happiness of the food with us. When he found out my companion and I are in the restaurant industry, he brought us a tiramisu (one of the best Ive ever had) to enjoy before work. Try the eggplant rollatini, house made lasagne, and if available that day, the cheese "purses." I'm so happy this is in my neighborhood, I look forward to bringing more friends to check out this local gem.

Service was exceptional by the owner and his daughter. She was very young but experienced and attentive to our needs. She and her dad treated us like royalty for my son's graduation lunch. We will definitely make a trip back. The food and wine was great too.

We visited SottoVoce with a friend on Saturday night. When we arrived we were greeted warmly and taken to our table. Our friend had a bit of an issue and was delayed and the waitress was really accommodating about the delay and kept the drinks coming! Once our friend arrived we order appetisers; calamari, bruschetta and the meatballs. The calamari was a little underwhelming but the other 2 dishes were good. For main courses 2 of us ordered the seafood linguine (one in white sauce and one in red sauce) and my other half ordered the spaghetti rustici with chicken. My linguine in white sauce was a little under seasoned but the pasta was cooked well. My other half loved his spaghetti though, he actually said it was the best pasta dish he has had so far in NYC. For dessert we ordered the cannolis, pear tart and were also given a complimentary tiramisu. The pear tart was just ok (the ice cream it was served with was pretty grainy) but the other desserts were lovely. We ended the meal with espresso martinis, which were delicious and I highly recommend. All in all I would say our experience at SottoVoce was fairly mixed, with some dishes being a standout and others underwhelming., and I would give it 3.5 *s. The atmosphere is great, very homely feel, and the service was really good so I would revisit (but probably order a different main courses). Our total bill for 3 people (including pre dinner drinks, 3 bottles of wine, tax and tip) was $400, which we thought was pretty reasonable for what we had.

I’ll make this quick because the only thing which made this place memorable was the fact I’ll remember not to spend money here. I had a taste for lasagna and called around the afternoon to ask if they had any available. The man on the phone was courteous and informed me they did and it would be 20 minutes to pick it up. I picked up my food and started to dig in right in the car, but the food was less than impressive. The lasagna was barely seasoned and the béchamel was odd. I took 4 bites and as much as I wanted to finish it for the sake of not wasting my money I instead pulled into a McDonald’s drive-through.

Fried zucchini and calamari unevenly portioned, only like 3 pieces of zucchini and the rest are calamari, and the calamari is very hard and rubbery would not recommend it and wish I could get a refund. Ordered pickup and the marinara sauce cup was microwaved with the food and cap melted into the food. Spaghetti with meatballs are ok but I’ve had better at other restaurants

Update – last visit was a disappointment in terms of food. Sent back the eggplant parmigiano because it wasn't cooked. It came back not much better. I should have send it back again, but felt sorry for them. Nice people, but the kitchen staff has gone way downhill.

They added a 20% mandatory tip without notice—only lowered it after we complained. Food was meh and portions were small. Won’t be back.

Unfortunately, I didn't like my experience in the restaurant. I order Spaghetti Meatballs, and the pasta was right-cooked but the seasoning was so bland. I had to season my food with the salt that was on the table. I couldn't taste anything, even the meatballs - zero salt. My wife ordered the chicken, and it was dry, had no seasoning, and tasted like the grill wasn't cleaned. The service was okay. I hope we can come back one day to eat so much better than this day. It's a nice place with good potential, but the food could be a lot better.

My dish was ok, it made me enjoy mushrooms, small portion. Was charged extra for 'substituting' mashed potatoes for a handful of spaghetti and wasn't told, it was added to my bill. The baked clams "special" were Littlenecks smaller than restaurants usually use, as in practically empty. Meal was disappointing.

To the parents of this nebour hood. I when and ask to use the washroom and there bluntly refused me. I had the baby with me and these workers was very bad . Not nice place to go.

Terrible service from start to finish! First class service from the owner, I think it's terrible. It felt like favor. DIRTY child's seat, he didn't even wipe it with a cloth. EXTREMELY small portions. . Just a thing for people who save food. Salad with half a tomato??? 8 sheets? I told! Truly absurd! And he adds 20% to the bill without me asking. I'm disputing the 20% on the credit card and I've already reported it to the city of NY because he added it without giving me the option to choose the 20%!! I hope the donation queue reaches this place quickly. And as you shouldn’t receive uncle!!’n you don’t tip the owner!!! Don't go to this place!

We were served by a very strange server at this place, brought the bill without warning and included a 20% service charge for two (it's legal in NY by the way) where weird. We tried to find out why he did it, but no answers! we wanted to decide for ourselves how much it costs to maintain. Also the pasta was delicious, everything else 3 points. the apple pie in dessert was dry and terrible. Never ever!!!!

Food was not to my liking. I ordered chicken marsala and it was very sweet. The side it came with was mashed potatoes but they ran out. They served me a very tiny portion as if that was enough for the side. It was not. I had to order a secondary side to which I was charged. I didn't think that was right. In the middle of my meal an Asian lady yelled at the waitress and an Italian customer cursed her out in response. I did not enjoy my food. I did not enjoy my experience there. I will not go back and I do not recommend.
