We were here on a Sat with at least 30 people. Charlie and his crew were excellent. It's a real small town atmosphere.
Very personable...if you've been there a few times, they will remember you. Everyone who works there is very nice and makes sure you get a good meal. I always leave with a full tummy and a smile on my face.
Passing through town and found this quiet spot. Very friendly staff ,waitress came back plenty of times to refill my chips/coke. Very nice atmosphere and the enchiladas were amazing!
We came on a Friday and had the All You Can Eat Enchiladas, tacos, chalupa rice and beans. The food was AMAZING.. so delicious!!! And the price had us all smiles!!! We will be back!!!
Excellent meal here today and very reasonable price. Ultra friendly staff who constantly checked if we needed anything else. We're passing through from VT but if we lived here we'd be regulars.
Our waiter was amazing. Very friendly, & just an awesome waiter. You can tell he cares for his customers
Awesome service friendly greeting staff takes great care of you good selection on menu come check them out hope you have as great a visit as we did looking forward to going back
Excellent, authentic, home made quality Mexican food. Absolutely will be back to eat there next time I am in town.
I usually skip over eating the rice at Mexican restaurants cause it's always bland. However here their rice is by far the best I've ever had so certainly don't skip out on the rice.
Right off the bat, everyone inside was super friendly. There was a pretty wide variety of food on the menu and it was all reasonably priced. After I ordered, the food came out in just minutes and it was all fresh, hot, and delicious! I would give 10 stars if I could!
We were passing through the town and came upon this gem! Great prices and the food was delicious! My two toddlers were thrilled with their kids meal options. Great service and the place was decorated so well for Christmas!
Quiet, fast service, and great food!
Very friendly, "down home" feel. Good Tex-Mex food and good value. Basic dishes, not super spicy. Been there twice, and definitely going back.
The breafast plate with beans added was delicious. Highly recommended. Waitress was very friendly and always checking on us. Charlie and his staff have a great running restaurant.
They have a waitress named Elvia. She is the bomb. She is so nice and she's very courteous. She will make sure you have whatever you need for your meal.. So go have breakfast and ask for Elvia tell her Teresa sent you
Ordered take out as we rolled through town. Service was friendly and exceptional with a large personality.#10 was great. Chips good too.
Great service from the wait staff at the moment. Delicious salsa and chips. Cheese Enchilada plate is so tasty and satisfying. Lovely local Mexican food restaurant.
Very reasonable prices and food is excellent!! Staff is super friendly and accommodating. They brought my friend a sopapilla for her birthday and sang to her! Just love this place so much❤️.
Food was great, staff was awesome. Loved the Crispa & Cream.
Welcoming and delicious affordable food. Well worth the stop. Fed my body and soul. 🙏

Excellent food , going to make this a regular weekly stop. Friendly staff and great food. The chop steak and brown gravy is excellent so are the Enchiladas. **UPDATE ** They now serve Breakfast , I just had the Big Breakfast it was Sooooo Good. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. BEST FOOD IN Brownfield. The wait staff is terrific and the owner is one of the nicest people I have ever met .
The locally owned Mexican Restaurant has a great family friendly environment that makes it inviting to bring the family after church or dinner time, even lunch. My go-to favorite is a chicken enchilada plate with rice and beans. Great taste and savory. The chips and salsa are addicting to the hungry customer as a delicious appetizer.
Food was great! The people were fantastic!! We were staying the night in the free RV park, just 1/3 of a mile from restaurant, so we walked to it.
This was a great little place to have lunch. The chips and salsa were great. While some of the food was a little bland for my taste, they had some seasonings there on the table which perked it right up. I appreciate the options especially for people that are watching their sodium or don't like hot, spicy food. The staff was great and Charlie was especially thoughtful with the kids who wanted gum and candy afterwards. At lunch the place was not crowded at all, but my uncle says he's seen it packed with no place to park for dinner.
I love to eat here. Great food and the best service out there! They go above and beyond to make sure you are well fed and happy when you leave!

Food is very good and reasonably Priced. I would recommend
Good place to eat .... Very friendly waitress...
The beef enchiladas, rice and beans were tasty and spicy. Chips and salsa were generous. Service was prompt and friendly. The interior needs attention;. No alcohol is served. If I pass this way in future, I would eat here again.
Good customer service. Very polite. Food was good average Mexican food I'd say but more like ma pa owned. Not very big store nor small. Food was good..

Fast, friendly, efficient service. Food was good. Portions were okay, could have used a little more rice and beans. Price was about right for the area. The seasoning that you put in your salsa or on your chips is great!
Nice little Mexican place we visited in our trip back home. The service was good and the food was delicious and served pretty quick. The owner came out and spoke with us and he was very friendly and gives you that feeling like you're a neighbor.
Just discovered this place 3 weeks ago and have been back four times! The nachos deluxe are fabulous with queso… We Have had nachos for many places, and this is the absolute best! Services is wonderful, Very attentive, and always go above and beyond. We have ordered the nachos to go a few times and the portions are just as good and they also include a side of chips and salsa with your to go order as well So the quality is exactly the same as going in if you would like to take it to go…. The only thing I would change is having fresh Homemade salsa. I think that would just set this place over the edge and my rating would be five star instead of four…. Highly recommend this place…. 💜
Very good food was out fast and hot. Service outstanding. Will for sure go back if in the area again!

Pretty good Mexican restaurant, but if you like spicy food not the place to go. A little bland , but there Fajita burritos are AMAZING!!! Great tamales too!
I can't stop thinking about this place, but not for great reasons. They have a "seat-yourself" policy, but you might have to clear your own table. The food, overall was fine, but boring. I asked for limes and cilantro, and was told they didn't have any, which is strange for a Mexican restaurant. The staff was, however, pleasant and friendly, which is worth something. Wouldn't be my first choice if I was looking for dinner. Edit: I have to confess, I ate here and reviewed under the guise of this being a Mexican restaurant, but it's not, really. It's Tex Mex, something entirely different. In that case, my food rating would go up, but the other factors are still the same I suppose.
Wanted something gluten free, dairy free. It had a tiny scoop of guacamole and I ordered an extra $1.50 scoop. Iceberg lettuce was cold and crisp. Bland but filling.

Cheese enchiladas were pretty decent, crispy tacos, chips and salsa were so-so. Nothing was gross, but it's about what i expected for a very small town hole-in-the wall. With that said the customer service was great and the guy at the window was very friendly and helpful.

Before we ordered i asked if the refried beans were made fresh, they tasted fresh from the can, our burritos we were served were nothing like the pictures, we asked for quacamole, lettuce sour cream like the picture showed, ordered were messed up, they were small, wrapped in foil, carna asada was very chevy, VERY SALTY!, tables were dirty, food on them, floor was dirty also, Lot of employees just standing around could have cleaned the place up, but our waitress did keep our cups full, owner seemed nice so I'll give them atleast 2 🌟 stars.
Clean place with good service. The food was served cheerfully and speedily. But-- the taste was bland! The chicken fajita was rubbery and tasteless, and the taco salad was the same and lukewarm. A disappointment.
Bad experience they couldn't even get two club sandwiches out and we were the only people in the restaurant
I ordered a coffee and Huevos Rancheros with eggs over easy. Coffee wasn’t hot but no cream or milk was offered. I was given powdered creamer. Food arrived not quite warm; mostly room temp. Eggs were fried hard and not over easy. No Ranchero Sauce. Cream never arrived. I waited for a while for cream and Ranchero Sauce but after the coffee and the food were cold, I left.
The place all together was a waste of money & time. The chips and salsa to begin with is just plain and taste like tomato sauce , the beef or meat used taste like water it has no flavor what so ever. The tea was plain too didn’t taste like sweet tea just a tea bag with water. Never again would I eat here. Definitely should’ve have paid for none of it.
I went to visit my mother in brownfield. I wanted to take her out to eat. But all other Mexican restaurants were closed besides this one. Nice friendly staff. But I do not suggest eating here!!! The food was disgusting. The only thing we liked were the rice and beans. The enchiladas were SWEET!!!!!??? Like who does that??? If I wanted something sweet I would have ordered ice cream or something. It's so sad I had to pay 50.00 for nasty food. My husband ate fajitas and it only made 1 tiny burrito and after we got home we were all sick!! Worst experience I have ever had!! Why is this place even open?
"Do I have to give it a star?" is the question to answer. I have to tell myself that the people that rated this restaurant must not get out enough to experience real Mexican food. I should of known when I first walked in and the salsa was just tomatoes sauce in a can. Very bland beef tacos, and I have to say I did get conned on ordering the all you can eat tacos and enchiladas. If I would of known I wouldn't have considered the place. Luckily the price wasn't as expensive as it could of been if I would of eaten at a Authentic Mexican restaurant. Either way the waitress gets an E for excellence cuz she did come by and make sure all was well. The food Poor. The setting poor.
How can anyone truly give this restaurant 4 or 5 stars. Ceiling leaking with owner complaining that it was two months since repairs started. No heat. Food cold and bland. Uncomfortable seating. Won't ever return.
Dont let these reviews fool you like i did. The food is the most bland horrible tasting slop to ever enter my mouth. Slasa. Terrible. Just tomatoes. Tacos. Cooked ground beef. No seasonings at alllll. Enchiladas same ground beef. Beans and rice horrible. Great service. I was in town for 1 night for work and after a 14hr day what a waste of money. Taco bell has better flavor.
Omg The absolute worst food I’ve ever put in my mouth $76 for microwave tamales that had been sitting out for several hours the chili was I kid you not wolf brand the tacos look like dog food smelt like it to obviously will not be back and I do not recommend

This place used to be great, but now it's trash. Overpriced disgusting samples is what you can call the plates. The little male waiter is extra rude and condescending. His clothes were dirty, the place smells like sewage, and there is paint flaking above multiple tables. Do yourself a favor and stay away until they find their passion again.
If you like cheap, lazily prepared, borderline gross tex-mex, you will love this place. The waitress and manager were very nice, pleasant and did their job, and that's the only good thing I can say about this restaurant. Besides that, the food was terrible; the chips were no good, and the salsa to dip them tasted like watered down tomato purée. I had the enchilada taco combo, which I'll say was edible at best: they use barely seasoned, plain ground beef, not minced or shredded like is normal at pretty much any decent mexican place. Given that the taco shells are not fresh, but Old El Paso store-bought hard shells, I'm not convinced the enchilada tortillas weren't also store-bought. I took one bite of the tacos and, rather than eat them, decided I was better off paying my tab and leaving. I'm not kidding, they literally use Old El Paso hard taco shells, lightly sprinkled with, again, regular ol' ground beef that I could've prepared better in a microwave, chopped lettuce and diced tomatoes with cheddar cheese tossed on top. I wouldn't go back to this place even if they wanted to make it up to me because I'm not confident they could make a meal worth eating.
This was absolutely some of the worst food I've ever had in my life. I got it $11.50 burrito that would have been overpriced at $5. The portion size was ridiculously small. The burrito was the size of a hot dog without a bun. Came with a tiny spoonful of rice. The whole thing was about 6 bites. Wife got eggs that came on a plate with disgusting beans, a small microwaved piece of ham and about a cup of water on the plate. Everything was wet and disgusting. The only thing good was the chips. The salsa tasted like tomato puree straight out of a can. Avoid this place at all costs. Normally you can't go wrong with a small Mexican diner. You would be better off eating gas station sushi.
