Short version: Top food, top service, top price Long version: We ate there a total of three times during our vacation. Two of those times we went without a reservation. We always got a table outside. It should be noted, however, that we were there right after they opened. The service was friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful conversation with the young lady, even in English. She also made a great effort to explain the desserts to us and show them on our smartphone. The dishes we ordered were fantastic. Authentic Italian cuisine for a reasonable price, compared to German prices. There were three of us there and we paid just under €50 each time – three main courses, at least one dessert, and drinks. The restaurant is located in the pedestrian zone (ZTL). Therefore, you can hear the hustle and bustle of the street. We didn't find this annoying, but rather pleasant. Parking is available within walking distance in two nearby parking lots – free of charge. We highly recommend the restaurant.
Very good pizzas, would recommend to anyone I know. The dough, sauce and toppings were excellent!! We were a large party of 10 and service was good.

I'd like to say to Angelica, Mrs. Sabrina, and her son that we found everything EXCEPTIONAL. The people are always kind and helpful. Whenever we want to eat an excellent tagliata 🥩 and pizza 🍕, we always come here to Pizzeria Borgo Antico in Brugnato. Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts. I have to thank my owner Tatiana of Ristorante da Rino in Levanto, who introduced me to this wonderful place.

We ordered pizza with pomodoro, cheese and prosciutto, which was mediocre. The dough was meh, there was not enough cheese but the pomodoro was good. We also ordered grilled vegetables. Zucchini, pepper and eggplant. They looked grilled but I guess they were only grilled for a minute or two because they were completely unprepared. The eggplant was white and completely uncooked and inedible. I don’t think that somebody who ever tasted this dish could have possibly serve it or cook it. The zucchini wasn’t ready either, but I am okay with raw zucchini so I ate it. My friend couldn’t. The pepper was fine though. Surprisingly the desert was the best part of the experience. The service was quite slow and the grilled veggies took extra 10-15 minutes to arrive after the pizza. We were sure they forgot them.

the food was very delicious, but the service and the atmosphere spoiled everything. They were not nice to us at all and made us feel that we are not Italian.
Me and my two friends went to this place tonight right after they opened and asked if we could get a table, the manager told us they were full for the night. The place was totally empty, we asked if we can order, but she pretty much refused to talk to us. We passed the place about an hour and a half later and it was still completely empty. Thank you for the welcome ...
Not helpful personel. Did no effort when we asked for a table, just walked by several times. Called to make a reservation later that week. Nothing possible. Seemed like only locals were welcome.
