Indulging in the specialty coffee offerings at HARVEST is an experience that transcends the ordinary. From the first sip to the last, each cup is a testament to the artistry and dedication of the baristas. The heart of HARVEST's menu lies in its commitment to sourcing only the finest beans from around the globe. Whether it's a velvety smooth Ethiopian Yirgacheffe or a bold and complex Kenyan AA, every coffee on offer showcases the unique flavors and characteristics of its origin. One standout option is the Honduras Marcala, a medium-bodied roast with notes of caramelized sugar and hints of dark chocolate. Served as a pour-over or espresso-based drink, it's the perfect choice for those seeking a harmonious balance of sweetness and depth
Beautiful building with the exposed red brick. They had a variety of latte flavors, some I'd never heard of before. They have oatmilk which was great. My friend got a slow brew and he said it was wonderful. We didn't get a chance to try any of their pastries/sandwiches, but they sounded delicious. The atmosphere was very chill and nostalgic with the antiques and mismatched furniture. It was a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend this place!
Small, dim coffee shop in an older industrial room. Has a lot of postings for community affairs. I ordered a harvest latte and it was fantastic. Several patrons were reading, working on stuff, crocheting. A relaxed environment where everything was generally welcoming. A little dirty, it could use a dusting, but altogether a good little shop. Bathroom is rough, but they do have a single person restroom.
Nice little coffee spot. Super cozy, well decorated, clean. It was a great stop for a Monday morning coffee. The worker was very kind and efficient. I didn't try any of the food items due to being in a hurry. I'll be back though & I'm looking forward to it. Absolutely love the leg lamp! 🦵
Their lattes are really tasty, but way too sweet so I suggest asking for half sweet. I love the vibe of the place. It always feels clean and classy, and the service is excellent. If you ask for suggestions, the baristas are good about recommending something for your tastes. My biggest complaint is a lack of outlets to plug in computers, and their chairs are very uncomfortable. It's almost like they don't want you to stay very long ;) Overall, a good place to meet up with somebody or get a little bit of work done if you aren't planning to stay more than three hours.
Highly debated posting this review because I rarely share negative reviews, but I figured I would want to share with others the experience we had. I brought my toddler with me to go in and grab a sweet treat on a Saturday morning. I ordered a regular sized hot chocolate and a double chocolate danish. I paid, then sat and waited on my drink and food. I realized when the next people came up to order they were asked if it would be for here or to go, which is strange because I wasn’t asked the same question. They also had a whole conversation with the people who ordered after me, but I barely got 2 words. I assumed because I had my toddler (who was behaving very well) they didn’t want me to stay. When they gave me my drink I noticed it was incredibly light, so when I opened the lid I saw that it wasn’t nearly halfway full. SO disappointing all the way around. It’s a shame too, because the hot chocolate was very delicious and I wanted more. The danish is good, but for $6 per pastry, not worth it. I will say the atmosphere was cute, perfect if you want a quiet place to work on school or a work project. Overall, pricey and I most likely would’ve given a much better review if my drink was at least full and I was treated like the people who didn’t have a toddler by their side.
I ordered the London Fog tea, but they were out of the Earl Grey. I took the suggestion of the barista to try the Oxford Haze instead. It was a delicious tea! The decor is well done (I included pictures). The only negative for me was that the room is loud. I ordered my drink to go, and I will come back!
I used to LOVE this place. However it’s changed and not for the better. The avocado toast is $8 and used to be $5.50. That’s now $4 a slice. Crazy! It used to come with a side salad, which I loved but the worker said it doesn’t anymore. So why is the price so high. Quality of food goes down while prices goes up. Not worth it anymore. I love supporting local businesses but I can’t with this quality and price.
The owner was shockingly rude when I walked in with an outside cup filled with water... yes, plain water. He lectured me about how I should be “supporting his business” and that bringing in outside food or drinks “defeats the purpose of his small business.” What he didn’t know (or care to ask) was that I had already bought an overpriced Chicken Salad Sandwich and a Candlelight Latte, both of which I had finished. Speaking of that sandwich, the menu promised chips, but all I got were two cold, lifeless slices of bread holding a stingy scoop of dry, flavorless “chicken salad.” Honestly, it should be renamed chicken SAD, because that’s exactly what it was. The interior was homey, but I would rather use a port-a-potty than their bathroom. Holes in wall, graffiti, broken toilet and towel dispenser... the list goes on. The coffee itself was decent, but nowhere near enough to make up for the attitude, declining quality, and inflated prices. With customer service this poor and food this uninspired, I won’t be returning.
Literally the most horrifying restroom I’ve ever seen at a coffee shop. Actual holes in the walls stuffed with tiny bits of toilet paper so people can’t look in, a random hole that looks like a rat was trying to sneak through. Why? It would take 30 min and like $25 of spackle to fix. Then, cloyingly sweet coffee, incredibly discourteous staff. And I ordered the chicken salad sandwich that said it came with chips and I got nothing but a lump of chicken salad on dollar store white bread. No toppings, no chips, not even a sad piece of lettuce. Horrible horrible horrible.
Unfortunately I cannot recommend this place. We ducked in on a very cold day recently and first of all I was surprised by the high prices. We ordered and they made me the wrong drink. They apologized and made me what I ordered immediately, but did not even offer to reimburse the overcharge. The back of the coffee shop has what looks like an open storage space with large shelves. It is only a few feet away from one of the tables, and there was an open trash bin on wheels just inches from that table. The sugar station consisted of 2 different kinds of artificial sweeteners and THAT'S IT. No sugar, no simple syrup, cinnamon, cocoa or anything else. There were some dusty looking pastries in a case on the counter (I think it was just for display, not the ones they serve) but they were not listed on the menu. Plus they use disposable cups for everything. It's so wasteful.
They freeze and microwave their danishes. I literally waited for 15 mins for a microwaves danish. There coffee is great. Light roasted. But the customer experience was lacking. I ask about the coffee and the barista mumbled back something unintelligible. Fresh from the freezer to you. Hope you have 15 minutes to wait while we microwave it :(
