I’ve tried quite a few teriyaki spots, and this place really stands out for keeping it simple and doing it right. The chicken isn’t overly sweet and has a clean, balanced flavor. The sauce pairs perfectly with the rice, so it doesn’t get heavy or overwhelming by the end. The meat was tender with no off taste, and overall it felt like a well-balanced, satisfying meal. The portions are generous, and they package everything neatly, which makes it great for takeout too. And if you come here, you have to get the taro boba. It’s not artificially sweet—just smooth, nutty, and creamy. Finishing your meal with a taro boba is the perfect combo. It’s not flashy, but it’s definitely a spot I’d come back to when I’m craving teriyaki.

I finally found a great spot! I love rolls, and their crispy rolls are so good. They have a boba combo set, so the price is reasonable, and most of all, it feels like they don’t skimp on the ingredients. We went as a group and ordered rolls, ramen, teriyaki, and a few other dishes—everyone was really satisfied with the meal. I especially love shrimp that’s fried without heavy batter, and I was happy that it came with the Urban Combo. I think I’ll even go back just for the boba!

The food there was amazing!! I tried the rolls and ramen and they were decent. It had a really welcoming and cozy atmosphere! Would definitely go again.

The food at Urban Grill is amazing! Very affordable with big portions and have a variety of options to choose from! The boba they sell here is my personal favorite. Greatly recommend 👌

The bento box was great! Clean restaurant, good quality ingredients. Tempura shrimp wasn't my favorite but the gyoza made up for it. Will be back.

Steaks are always wonderful. I had the steak and grains salad. The salad seemed to not have any dressing on it. About halfway through I finally asked for a side of dressing. Could have been that I was supposed to mix the the rice in it, which I didn't want to do. My son really enjoyed his also, he had a wonderful mac n cheese along with steak. Will definitely be back.

Our dining experience was overall fantastic. Angel, our server, was incredibly understanding when we discovered our tomhawk steak wasn’t cooked to our desired medium-rare. Ramirez, the manager, promptly addressed the issue by bringing out a fresh, perfectly cooked steak. It was a Sunday and they had the most unexperienced cooks and servers working. It was hard to find help when we needed something. Only one of the three steaks was cooked right. The one my dad received, was so overcooked that he couldn't chew it. We actually ask them to correct this one, which ended up turning out great, but it was eaten the next day because it took so long to get back to us he had packed it up to go. He had ate a potato and mushy green beans for dinner that day, they were out of Asparagus. Our bill was about $280. Our server was wonderful, when she was able to get to us, they also appeared to be short staffed. Definitely not a great experience. Update (6/21) just came back for lunch. They charge $0.50 for credit card now and prices have gone up quite a bit (more than 20%). Haven’t eaten yet but already a bitter taste in my mouth. I've moved away, so I'm very sad :(. . Can't vouch for everything on the menu, but the chicken bowl covered in teriyaki sauce and Sriracha is amazing and HIGHLY habit forming. Eaters beware! I use to have one everyday for lunch when I was at work. Literally everyday!

Approximately four times a year my son and I plus a friend meet up for a late afternoon/early dinner meal at this location. In the past, we have always came away with a positive experience; however, this evening (01/20/26) is a different story. From the time the three of us were seated (approx. 4pm) until we left was almost two and a half hours. The service was extremely slow and almost at times painful. When our waiter first came to our table he was a bit quiet but polite. We got our water and drinks in a very reasonable about of time in addition to our order being taken fairly quickly but after that the service went off the rails/tracks so to speak. When our appetizer plate came we had not yet been served the customary brown bread so we had to ask for that. Without going into a long detailed review the service was extremely slow and our food was not served at the same time. We had to ask for two sides that had been forgotten about plus it took three times asking for additional napkins before we finally got those. My friend asked for a simple refill on water which never happened. We were never asked by the waiter if we needed anything or how the food was, etc as we are accustomed to from previous visits. At one point, someone did come by our table to check on things (maybe the manager but not for sure); however, we never saw her again. At point the waiter did bring over a $15 gift card and put in our table but said nothing. We had to tell him what our two dessert choices were as he never asked. We have no complaints about the food whatsoever. That was on point as it has always been. But due to the extremely slow and somewhat un-caring service I have to give this visit a low rating. We appreciate the gift card plus we were given an additional shrimp cocktail free of charge but the service certainly was not what it normally has been in the past.

This is very unfortunate, I’ve been eating here for at least 4 years and just a couple of days ago the food quality went from a 4 to a 0 it’s awful. Apparently there has been a change in ownership. Whatever ownership is doing, it’s doing it badly.

He ordered me and his wife salads as his sides they were served with his dinner over an hour later. My grandson had the kids sliders no cheese he can’t have cheese. There was cheese on there. She just took them back and peeled the cheese off because some was left on there. I could have done that. My mom’s fries cold. It took my sister over twenty minutes to get the desserts that came with their meal. The waitress was terrible. We asked to speak to the manager all she said was I understand. My sister comes from Stockton to eat here because they don’t have a Black Angus. Well until you guys get your staff trained and it’s time to remodel to keep up with th Streets new look. Are family went for the Thanksgiving meal in Brentwood this 2025. It was extremely crowded which we expected. We got seated relatively quickly but the service was extremely bad. After we placed our order, and waiting for an hour and a half without being served, I complained to the manager. We came here last Thanksgiving and the service was good and we were in and out in an hour. I am certain the kitchen staff was so overwhelmed in preparing an extremely large number of take out orders to be ready on time that the in restaurant customers were put on the back burner. The mgr comped our order and went to the kitchen and got our order in take out containers as we just wanted to leave. Black Angus should not do any type of take out on Thanksgiving day and concentrate on in house customers. Very unorganized and unprepared!

Do not order from this place via Uber eats. They offer 6oz top sirloin steak (Buy 1, Get 1 Free). They cut the meat portion in half under this offer but advertised as 6oz. Food is decent but free is never free. Check photos. MISLEADING! I would prefer to pay full price and grab the proper size than get false advertisement and short on my protein. EDIT: 2nd order came with hair in my steak! 3rd order, burned potato and they failed to follow the instructions for the order. This place either has the kitchen completely incompetent or they just don’t care for the TO GO/Delivery orders. Last and final order on Monday this week got me food poisoning. It’s fair to say I given this place a chance. To summarize: misleading portions via uber eats. Multiple occasions where foreign objects were found in food.
