It's way better than I expected. Seriously, not many good place for Gopchang food. This is one of kind place. 5 Stars !!!!

We were waiting for a restaurant that served traditional gobchang around here and it finally arrived! We ordered combination (abomasum, small intestine, and large intestine) that came with your choice of soup (soybean paste or kimchi), steamed egg, and different grilled sides (potatoes, sweet pumpkin, baked cheese, pineapples, sprouts, onions, and garlic). Another dish we ordered is their kimchi noodle. Side dishes were minimal with good seasoning. Just wished that the steamed egg wasn't so overcooked and spongy. The rice was a little dry for my taste but I'm sure they can easily improve that. The soups were a little salty but didn't bother me too much. Small intestine and abomasum were good but some large intestine was a little chewier than expected. The seasoning was minimal, which was what we were looking for because many places oversaturate it with sugar and salt. Kimchi noodle was okay unless you're really into cold kimchi. Service was good but when it started getting busy, it seemed like the workers weren't sufficient enough to cover the capacity the restaurant was designed for. Overall, it was good and we will be returning to try out different foods on the menu. I have to add that it’s slightly overpriced for the amount of food you get. Still giving 5 stars hoping that the restaurant will improve on these small things :)

They are always super courteous and their food is amazing. They have outdoor patio set up with social distanced tables. I love their service and their food!

I had the assorted beef intestines at Gob Chang, and it was amazing! The staff was very attentive, refilling the side dishes generously and even grilling everything for us. It made the experience so much more enjoyable. The owner recommended the pork belly, so I’ll definitely be trying that next time!

Very tasteful gopchang combo and pork belly, better than the ones we find in koreatown for sure. Great quality steak tartare! Service was very welcoming and attentive. And easy parking in the plaza.

We were coming to visit Orange County and craved some gopchang and picked this place because it was nearby. Best choice we had made! Place was clean and had a nice atmosphere. The person that took our order was very kind and gave us recommendations when we had trouble choosing. I would recommend the medium set for a group of 3-4 if you are not big eaters! Overall we had a really nice experience with the food and service. Would recommend getting cheese fondue and absolutely loved the steam egg!

Got the medium gobchang platter. It's like around $70 - $80 but it was a lot to finish for two people. Maybe 3-4 people could eat that. It came with side dishes and one soup and 계란찜. Really really good! We were lucky to be there on time unless there would've been wait time. Also, the gobchang comes pre-cooked so it was easier to eat and didn't wait too long to eat it.

Really good food! Serving size is plentiful and side dishes/sauces go really well with the pork belly and intestines. Tried the kimchi cold noodles and highly recommend it. It's very refreshing, especially during the summer.

It was awesome experience at here. We were looking for something special food while stayed at Buena Park. We found this place after Google reviews and gave a shot. A manager was so friendly also knowledgeable of food and recommended combination set for us. It was amazing and hard to forget about the taste with the music. We will come back from Texas.

The taste and quality of all foods is excellent. The spicy taste of Jeongol and Hot Gopchang is very suitable for anyone to enjoy. It's a great Korean gobchang restaurant I've never seen in the U.S.

Gob Chang is a hidden Korean restaurant gem in a small Buena Park plaza. With spacious parking (though it can get crowded, street parking might be necessary), this cozy pocha-style spot serves quality meat with fast service. The owner takes pride in their meat quality, delivering an authentic dining experience. This place is my #1 Gop Chang place!!! Great for Gop Chang lovers, though it closes early for soju drinkers :(

The best Gob Chang restaurant in the Buena Park area. Food comes out already mostly cooked and is kept hot on small burner, so no bbq smell after eating. Meat quality is great, and their side dishes are the best combination of the meat. Their pork belly is great also. And definitely try their cold noodle.

Gopchang was a birthday request meal so went to celebrate with family. Every member was disappointed by the lack of service and meal. First of all, got there at 4:45 and entered early due to cold weather. There was 0 wait outside and only 2 tables be served at the time. The quests were to arrive within minutes. Ended arriving 5pm. Within the 15mins the owner kept pressuring and mentioned it gets busy, so need to eat fast and leave. By just those words my mom and husband were put off. We ordered large intestine combo and intestine soup. NONE came with rice! And charged 1.50 for rice. Steamed eggs were dry, half filled and burnt black on the bottom. Never seen cheese on steamed eggs. Had to order another without cheese. For a table of 7 when asked for extra kimchi, the owner said you have one there. So stingy. For convenience normally you bring out 2 sets for each end of table. No one could reach across to the other side. Just getting some plain tap water was difficult. People reviewed better than big restaurants so believed and gave this hole in the wall a chance. But should of stuck to Wang Chang in Buena Park. Side dishes were horrible with no side salad. Large looked like a small, half filled with bean sprouts, onions and potatoes, and pineapples. Reviews must be by family and friends. Business should be run on being generous with food and customer service and most will be touched by the experience and will tip to makeup for it. Being cheap and on budget won't have returning customers. Should of stuck with Yangmani or Wang Chang and not strayed trying to look for better.
