Nosotros fuimos a comer a la terraza por primera ocasión y nos pareció una experiencia excelente. La comida es buenísima, el menú es chico pero muy bien escogido. Probamos una ensalada de tomate que estaba deliciosa, de segundo tiempo ordenamos el risotto con espárragos que estaba espectacular y terminamos con el sandwich de cachete de res que estaba muy rico. El postre de mango nos pareció muy fresco y delicioso. Nosotros fuimos a comer y nos pareció un ambiente familiar, seguro en la noche esta mejor para ir con amigos p con tu pareja. El restaurante está en plaza Kiva, cuenta con estacionamiento y es un lugar muy seguro.

La propuesta culinaria interesante, el lugar bonito y acogedor, volvería por esos tacos de Pork Belly, en función de los platos fuertes creo que deberían buscar opciones también enfocadas a otras proteínas.

Allium ofrece una experiencia gastronómica excepcional con sabores perfectamente equilibrados. Cada platillo es una deliciosa sorpresa que me encantó. El servicio fue atento y el ambiente del lugar muy agradable. Definitivamente, estoy deseando volver pronto.

Ofrecen alimentos de excelente calidad y elaboración creativa. Los platillos son llevados a la mesa con cuidado y presentación muy cuidada. La carta de vinos es amplia. Sin duda, es uno de mis lugares favoritos que te permiten comer, sin prisa, sin acoso de los Meseros. Me gustaría que por las noches pusieran algunas lámparas de Mesa o en la terraza, porque es muy obscuro, tanto que no se ven los alimentos con claridad. Sería agradable que arreglaran las macetas que cuelgan a la calle. El ambiente es cálido y amable.

Si quieres garantizar comer delicioso y fuera de lo común, aquí es donde. Siempre muy atentos, la comida deliciosa, el servicio es de 10/10 Constantemente cambian los platillos pero los estelares permanecen. Sus opciones de vino muy bien seleccionadas

Second time in Guadalajara and so happy that we were able to check out Allium. Highly recommend getting the tosta de escamoles y scallop aguachiles for starters. For the mains, we had mole verde and lengua, which might be the best dish I’ve ever had at a restaurant. And their banana bread was a great way to end the experience. If you are ever in GDL, do check out this place.

Every single time I come to Allium it’s a 5 star experience!!! I’m always greeted with fresh sourdough bread and good quality butter. the staff is friendly and professional and the food is out of this world! My mom and I feel so taken care of here, even when we don’t order dessert, they surprise us with something sweet and delicious (like today we were treated with the best apricot ice cream I’ve ever had and fig cream filled butter cookies!) like where else other than home do you receive such care!?! <333

We are not ones to wax on poetically about a dinner experience, but last night at Allium is worth chatting about. A wonderful, chef centric restaurant with a tight menu, well balanced, ethically sourced, bravo. Atmosphere, music, service, etc…totally on point. Not often do we get goosebumps, but there were several over dinner. We had the tuna crudo and beet carpaccio for appetizers, absolutely lovely. The mains were fish with sikil oak and duo of beef, so tasty, so well presented, thank you Maria (chef)! Almost forgot about the bread service, shame on me, it was memorable. Dessert was their chocolate one (sorry don’t remember the name) recommended by our excellent chef Alexis, divine. We will be going again on this trip for sure. Again Bravo 👏

Super delicious creative dishes in a cute covered outdoor seating area above street level in this shaded lovely neighborhood full of shops, bars, and people watching. We ate a fish centric meal but there were land animal proteins and veggies that looked just as enticing. Soy salts and rice vinegar notes on the ceviche courses and nuanced nutty and mushroom and balsamic sauces on our main course fishes; sustainable farming supply chain. Very friendly and attentive wait staff, very nice wine selección, great bathrooms! Prices very reasonable for such high quality fine food. Best meal in our week visiting and trying too rated eateries.

UPDATE (August 2022) We came back a year later and the owners Adolfo and Maria remembered us! They created a special tasting menu for our visit so we can try many dishes. The quality of ingredients and flavour combos were just amazing. The service was personable and warm. I’ve been to a few fine dining restaurants in the world, and Allium is definitely at the top of the list. I would return again and again not just for the food but for their attentiveness and making us feel like a friend. I would ask them for a tasting menu (it’s not advertised) it truly worth it! ORIGINAL (August 2021) Allium was the gastronomical highlight of my trip to Guadalajara. A really cute open air boutique restaurant with great menu and good selection. On our visit they had 241 promotion for wine. The food uses freshest local seasonal ingredients and were beautifully presented. We were hesitant to try the ant larvae (Mexican caviar) but curiosity got the better of us and we’re glad it did! It was cooked in garlic butter on top of freshly baked brioche. It was savoury and sweet; amazing taste sensation. Unfortunately our meal got cut short due to heavy storms and they lost electricity. We were gutted and went back the next day as we really wanted to try their duck breast and Ox tongue. Unfortunately their electricity was still out 😫 Adolfo was so apologetic and gave us a bottle of tequila. We were so touched by his king gesture. Which restaurant does that?! We’ll definitely have to do another trip to Allium to complete our meal.

We had a great time at this restaurant! The staff was friendly and the service was good! I visited there with a friend from Belgium.It is a good memory in our list of places in Guadalajara. We got a nice dinner with some traditional Mexican dishes, a bottle of sparkling wine and yummy dessert.

Allium is an absolute must-visit for a higher-end dinner out in Guadalajara. It is refined, beautiful cooking at incredibly reasonable prices. We absolutely loved the duck, the beet salad, and the hoja santa panna cotta. The bread even was warm, amazing and served with exceptional salsas and butters. Affordable fine dining that doesn't compromise on service or flavor. They mostly focus on seafood and have a large variety of dishes... I have dined here twice and was really happy both times. Today I also made a to-go order over the phone, literally eleven minutes before closing time (7pm during the pandemic), and they were super happy to accommodate me. I arrived as they were finishing basting a piece of fish and I left a minute later as they were finishing to close up... I just finished my meal and was so happy with how it tasted that I'm here leaving the review. Thanks for saving me from a night of mediocre uber eats food! Something pretty unique (at least for me), was the escamoles toast... exceptionally good for something so simple... I've had it twice!

1st, look up ESCAMOLES, perfectly paired w/arugula citrus salad. The amuse-bouche, ceviche taco but saturated w/aguachile flavor. Pork belly w/runner beans & smoked salsas. Great use of local grown produce to highlight the pro-green aspect lost in alot of protein rich menus today. Not to mention how awesome the service was. Everyone was great!

The Way We Saw It

We absolutely LOVED the food, we had duck prosciutto sandwich and beetroot salad followed by catch of the day fish with peanut sauce and the other one was the brandade. Together with great glass of rosé and our favourite mineral water. The staff was great, courteous and super friendly. One star goes away because it was cold (half open terrace) and the choice of music. You can do better than that... Absolutely recommended though!

ERA mi restaurante preferido en Guadalajara. Una verdadera lástima que no sepan manejar una inconformidad de uno de los comensales por la extrema lentitud en el servicio de bebidas. Cuando llegaron por fin, habíamos terminado el plato fuerte. En lugar de pedir una disculpa y corregir el error, como toda empresa de servicio debe aprender a hacer, ¡nos quitaron platos y bebidas, literal, y nos negaron el servicio! Todavía no asimilo el shock frente a semejante grosería...

Nos corrieron. Después de pedir 3 veces una bebida, y cancelarla, la decisión fue CORRERNOS. Se puede entender que haya más personas de las que están acostumbrados (había 4 mesas de 9) Pero, nunca me habían corrido de un lugar. Les falta ser más conscientes y sensibles, entender al consumidor. Contexto: la mesa era de 8 personas, pedimos las bebidas, y durante la comida pedimos dos bebidas más (una cerveza y un vino) la cerveza la tuve que pedir dos veces, no estaba en comanda, el vino 3, al pedirla por 4ta vez le dijimos al mesero que si no la traía, ya la cancelara (ya estábamos por acabar nuestros platos). Su respuesta fue “que tenía mucho trabajo” y “más mesas” , el problema es que en un restaurante que está catalogada como uno de los 50 mejores del mundo esperas mejor servicio. La chef encargada salió y en lugar de entender y solucionar solo generó más problema, escalo la situación y decidió corrernos. Y algo importante, no nos dio la cara, mandó a otra persona a recoger la mesa y “pedirnos que nos fuéramos” Se intentó pagar la cuenta y no nos dejaron.
