Hello guys, today I went to a restaurant called Home taste. Prior I had done my research because I wanted to go to an authentic Chinese restaurant and here it was. So I ordered the Qishan noodle soup (spicy) the broth was very flavorful and honestly the noodles remind me a little bit of spaghetti but it was pretty nice. I was actually surprised with this one because of the fact that it didn't have as many vegetables but a lot of bra and noodles and some meat and then some what looks like leaves on the side of it to add that oomph! Mwah💋 I definitely recommend this dish as it is very flavorful Rate: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We also ordered some steamed buns with beef inside of it. The bond was very fluffy and I love the texture of it that made it very enjoyable since I have a sensory thing you know. The meat was also very good inside although it wasn't as much in it also I did not expect the Buns to be that big but it was nice cool. The steamed buns came with what looks like chili sauce or chili oil and I with every bite I always dipped it in chili oil it's kind of. sweet and sour and I love it Rate: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The person that I was with had some General Tso's chicken and it came with a side of sticky rice. One thing that she noticed about this General Tso's chicken that set it apart from takeout Chinese places which in my opinion is fake Chinese is that the meat was fresh and very good and she would also put some of the chili oil on some of the sticky rice. After this experience she is going to eventually take her daughter there to try it because her daughter likes food that is fresh and likes to try other culture food. Rate: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Lastly I have a milk tea drink which tastes like it is consisting of honey it is not too sweet but not too bitter you can taste a lot of milk. Not bad Rate:⭐️⭐️ Based on all of my rates for all the dishes I conclude that home taste is a Hidden Gem so please if you're around Buffalo New York I urge you to come by and have some food. You'll be amazed by the authenticity

HomeTaste is hands-down the best Chinese food I’ve had in Buffalo. Everything was bursting with authentic flavor and came out fast, fresh, and perfectly cooked. I tried several dishes and loved every one: The Mapo Tofu with Beef was beautifully spicy and savory with that signature numbing Sichuan heat, perfectly balanced with tender beef and silky tofu. The Egg Tofu was delicate, rich, and lightly crisped on the outside, absolute comfort food! Stir-Fried Green Beans and Cabbage are classics, both dishes were simple but incredibly flavorful. The Chongqi Little Noodles were chewy, spicy, though it is a special, my group agreed that it wasn’t a favorite compared to the other dishes. The Fish Soup with Clear Noodles were light, fragrant, and soothing; a great contrast to the spicier plates. The food came out quickly, and the service was friendly and attentive. The space is very small, so it’s worth keeping that in mind if you’re planning to dine in, but it adds to the cozy, home-style charm. If you’re looking for authentic, flavor-packed Chinese cuisine in Buffalo, HomeTaste is an absolute must-visit!

Authentic and delicious Chinese food. The Northeastern dishes are excellent, and the lady boss is warm, friendly, and beautiful. The dumplings are handmade, with generous filling and juicy broth. The pickled cabbage is homemade and naturally fermented.

Home Taste is my go-to spot for delicious dumplings! I’ve tried every variety they offer—shrimp and pork, Napa cabbage, and more—and each one is always amazing. You get a generous portion for the price, and the quality never disappoints. On my last visit, I tried the green beans with pork tenderloin for the first time, and they were phenomenal—flavorful and perfectly cooked. The atmosphere is clean and welcoming, and the service is always friendly. It’s a great local spot, and I’m always happy to return. Highly recommend if you’re in the area!

Amazing hole in the wall with incredible authentic Chinese food! We ordered the pork and shrimp fried dumplings, pork buns (which were huge), shredded pork with bean sauce and onions, and chicken cubes with cayenne pepper. The portions were huge and lasted us two full meals. 10/10!

Great little place with amazing food and friendly service. Based on other reviews, we ordered the spicy chicken w. Red peppers (n.43). It was delicious! I hate saucy chicken dishes, and this was perfect. No sauce, perfect amount of spice, crunch and saltiness. We also ordered n.42(shredded pork and scallions) which was so delicious and a cozy dish. The dumplings and buns were also great! Remember to order your steamed rice separately as the dishes do not come with it. Will be back!
