Great place to get gluten free pizza. Can get any of their pizzas on the gluten free crust. They use a thin crust which is quite good. I usually stop here when I'm in the area because you can't get gluten free pizza in Niagara Falls.. 😕

Needed a quick place with easy access and found this little gem. Had a Hercules on sesame bread with everything and hubby had the chicken parm. Bread was delish, good quality meats and just the right amount of condiments... nicely toasted. Highly recommend!

We were missing our Friday Fish Fry out at a local restaurant. With dine-in closed we ordered 2 Fish Fry's from John's. OK this was the best fish fry we've had in years!!! My wife opted out of the French Fries & got double Cole Slaw. I got Cole Slaw & Potatoe Salad instead of Fries, everything was AWESOME! See you next week Johns!

Great Food!! Try the chicken finger sub it is the best in buffalo! I eat at johns 4-5 times a month it is my favorite place. They have dine in, take-out, or delivery. I have never been disappointed Keep up the great work!

I’m very picky about my wings but this place has amazed me. They have just the right amount of crunch plenty of meat, and the flavor is amazing. I have already recommended this place to some friends. Keep up the good work will definitely be getting my wings here for the football season

This is our go to place for a quick takeout bite to eat. Orders are usually ready in 15-20 minutes. We mostly order the medium one topping with either wings or fingers. It’s pretty reasonably priced at $21 and change including tax. Have been patronizing this place since 2001... only time order was wrong was when they made me a large pizza instead of a medium at no extra cost.

The Cajun chicken wings are 5 stars, pizza petty good most days, not a fan of some of their other foods.... but that's just me. Had no issues with service or delivery, would give them 4.5 stars if allowed, mostly positive experience gives them the benefit to 5 star pizza shop.

Remarkable food and have stayed true to their recipes and product mix over the years. As a guy that grew up here I had to leave a note about how delicious the chicken finger sub was. I will say - the facility could be upgraded a little but not enough to ding a full star. Thank you Johns!

This evening I ordered 2 subs for pick up from John’s on Campbell Blvd. When I got home 1 sub was incorrect. When I called to address it I spoke to the manager Bob & He offered not only to replace it but also deliver it! It was remade to perfection and to top it all off Bob delivered it himself with a smile and an huge apology. He even very kindly declined a tip. There’s nothing better than great food combined with great service! Thanks Bob!

The best specialty pizzas and their basic red pizza sauce is still spot on delicious. I recommend the cheeseteak pizza or chicken finger pizza . Subs and salads are delicious also . Customer service is right on and they will specialize and customize almost anything you ask them to !

I'm replacing my posting of Johns Pizza & Subs on North French & Campbell because they have really pick up the customer service & the food has been better for a while now. Whatever they did good job on bringing back John's Pizza & Subs to life !

The food is good. I've ordered 2 slices of pizza and it has taken 25 minutes. Other people at my table ordered a sub and received their order in 15 minutes.

Friendly neighborhood pizza joint. Tasty buffalo style pizza, and decent wings. They have a cute indoor seating area as well.

5* chicken finger sub. The most “buffalo authentic” if you ask me. Their pizza is far from that, however. This location (Campbell) is my favorite and consistently good!

Gave it 4 stars because I haven't tried their pizza 🍕 yet. But, their Subs are delicious and they make an excellent Beef on Weck. Great place for a quick lunch. No matter how busy it is, it only takes about 5 minutes to get your food.

Usually a great pie, but disappointed tonight. Pizza was small for the price paid and one if the toppings ordered was missing. I will order again, though, because it is a great pizza normally. I'll give them a pass this time.

It has been 5 whole weeks and I still haven't received a refund for an order I placed that never arrived. They said they didn't have my order but the charge hit my account. I've called 12 times (not an exaggeration) and still have yet to resolve this. Its a shame because I really like the pizza here but the customer service.... thats a whole other issue. UPDATE: This has since been resolved and my stars are to reflect my appreciate of the food and prices here at John's. The crust is great, the subs are delicious and its all reasonably priced. Would recommend!

My partner had 1/2 chicken hoagie and fountain drink. I had a 1/2 Hercules (Ham & Turkey) sub and fountain drink. We decided to eat in because we were on our way to work. The cashier, a young man,was told twice we were eating there, once when he asked us and the other when we were finished ordering. They were busy, it was dinnertime, but when we finally received our food, 15 minutes later, it was wrapped to go. I told the girl it was for inside, she's like would you like plates? Well? Gee, I don't know. They were out of lids for the fountain drinks, so I went up and told the guy, he restocked them. The men's room was dirty, most places are, no big surprise, there was no hand soap. It's these little things that help me make the decision to tip and how much. I usually tip, but with increased pricing and knowing that these kids are making more than the minimum wage of $14.20 an hr in NYS, they didn't receive one. I am only making a few more dollars an hr than this working a more difficult job at a nursing home, so show me some service, please. The food at John's is good and very rarely do we have issues, so good job, in that respect.

I grew up by this place and rarely went. I don't know why. On a whim I went and met my parents and the pizza was, unsurprisingly great. Chicken fingers, hard to mess up, were better than average. The place was clean and the bathroom was clean. Could not ask for more. Also, decent iced tea selection. Extra points.

Fingers where good. Large cups of blue cheese. Actually had carrots and celery with it. Keep it up!

Service was good pizza came quick. Pizza was a little too hot for my comfort but overall pretty good. The bathrooms could use some work as well. The restraunt was a coean environment with many cool pictures and art. Employees are friendly. The table was wobbly which was kind of annoying but it is only a 4 star because of the boring show on the TV.

Been a customer here for over 16 years. Seen many different people working there and going thru different eras of customer service and as of this review's date they are in a good spot! Get a steak sub here usually at least once per week. I Loove steak subs from here. Had pizza many times and it's always good. Not my favorite but never dissatisfied. I usually am quite happy with John's, but this time I ordered a turkey on wheat and when I got back to work it was on sesame seed white. I have diverticulitis and can't do seeds, and it was too late for me to go back. These mistakes are rare, however.

The steak in the grass sub was OK, kind of bland needed seasoning. Chicken fingers are on the smaller size, but decent quality.

Prices were a bit high for quality/quantity of the subs we got. Food was made quickly. Inside was clean, employees are friendly. Will probably stop by next time I'm nearby to try more food.

It's a nice place inside and the food is pretty good. The only bad thing is the prices which are higher than any other pizza and sub place I've been to. For example a 12 inch turkey sun was about $10, most places it's closer to $7.

Food was good but was turned off by the "young women" (using that term very lightly) that seemed to be hanging out visiting with workers at the counter. After listening to them and watching them make fun of an odviously older woman struggling with her walking, they decided it was my turn when I asked for oil on the side that I forgot when I called in my order! I should have said something right then and there but I was afraid of losing my temper!.....pretty sad, thinking manager wasn't on duty because if there was well.....bad business!

Pizza slices where old and dry, it was noon on a Friday. I would have thought they would have better quality food. I used to go there years ago and the food was amazing. Possibly could have been the shift that I went. I would not recommend.

The girl that answered the phone was mumbling so bad I could barely understand her. I ordered pizza and wings for my construction crew, the pizza was delivered an hour after I ordered. The driver forgot the plates but gave me some paper towel from his car, the gesture was nice but it was a little inconvenient for my guys to eat without plates. I also ordered an ice tea and a sweet tea was delivered which I dont drink because of the sugar. The pizza was ok and the wings were dry. I most likely will not order here again, very expensive with a combo.

Lived in the neighborhood for 5 years. Had John's all the time. You can expect a 2-star pizza, 3-star sub and 4-star wings. Solid blue cheese. Prices on the high side. Most of the staff are young, maybe high schoolers, who are usually too nervous to come to the register or too cool to be seen working hard at their pizza shop gig. One time I waited for like 10 minutes at the counter until I realized the only two employees were over flirting in a booth in the dining room. I get it.. young love > my chicken wings. Hope it worked out for them. A couple of the employees are cool, at least pretend to care, and will usually be the ones to take care of you. About 25% of your orders will be missing something.. no tomatoes on the sub, no marinara with your pizza logs. Drive a little further if you're going to be uptight about it. It's close and it'll do in a pinch.

Good food and excellent delivery but they need to quality control their food orders better. Constantly screwing up 1/2 cheese, 1/2 two topping pizza orders. We now have to order two separate pies to ensure they get it right. So unfortunate...

Food quality has been getting worse and worse. Whoever is making the pizza is drowning it in sauce. Stop putting so much on. Whoever your supplier is of wings, switch now! We got wings tonight and they are literally the smallest I have ever seen. $30 for 20 wings when you would seriously get the same amount of meat off only 10 wings anywhere else.

We ordered a team lunch, it was just so-so. Prices were very high, the lunch special wasn't very special; Bland, dry, and expensive. Although the "half" sub was huge, it wasn't good and mine was missing toppings. The staff at the counter was very friendly and helpful. And it was very clean inside. They also had gluten-free pizza which was a great option, but they did not half gluten free sub rolls.

$6 for two convenience store slices of pizza, I sure will return. you need to go to Kenyans and try one of their slices and maybe try to repeat their process john

I really didn't love my sub, and neither did my husband. But while we were there, there was a constant stream of customers. So they obviously have people who love their food.

Garlic parm wings had no flavor. Pizza was burnt. Blue cheese was decent but sweeter than I remember. Delivery was close to on time and friendly.

Got a couple of slices of cold bland pizza with a drink. Overpaid after being told of a slice special and was informed that many of the prices are wrong but the owner is too lazy to update. Sad.

Sub was inedible, but the manager was more than helpful to reorder the following day...

Now I see why it's rated a 3.8. I ordered the lunch special of a 1/2 assorted sub with fries and medium drink which was 9.75 plus tax. The cashier told me it was 12.88 after tax in which I said that's not right. He then proceeded to get the manager or owner (I'm not sure) and she said "there is tax on everything". This comment shocked me because it insulted my intelligence so I said to her that I understand that but what kind of taxes are you charging? She wouldn't even look at me. I should have just walked out and spent my money elsewhere but I was on a 30 minute lunch break and 10 of that was already gone. Sub was sloppy, fries were overcooked and the only good thing was unlimited soda. Guess what? I won't be back again just because her nasty attitude!!!

I am slightly offended that you would purposely deceive me - but not surprised. Still evaluating and sceptical based on other reviews. In fairness the food is decent but like almost everywhere getting to be overpriced

Haven't been in a while, maybe year. In the area today, and decided to get a pizza. Bad choice, even the air fryer could not fix it! Bad sauce, doughy pie, just tasted uncooked. Probably the last time , sorry, ate some, but it's garbage night.

Ordered a $9 greek salad that was the size of the palm of my hand. I could not believe how small it was let alone that it was mostly lettuce with barely any toppings.. Staff, a younger girl was rude as hell when I questioned it. The attitude was just ridiculous. Ordered a slice which was cold. Didn't even ask if I wanted it warmed. Never had issues at the other location on the blvd. Won't be going to the one on Campbell again.

The only problem I had was their delivery service. I was sitting one room away, nobody home, perfectly quiet and I hear no doorbell and no knock. I get up to check my phone and I find out that they've already had it delivered almost an hour before I found it. My food was cold and I had to reheat everything. It just doesn't taste the same after that.

Went here for their famous chicken finger sub. Have been going to this restaurant for a while for their chicken finger sub my last visit here it tasted like the chicken fingers were deep fried and very old oil. I paid over $16 for it. They should change your oil out more

I ordered 2 subs and some sides to come with. i didn’t get my cookies, and the subs were made very incorrectly. I’m very unhappy with johns, haven’t been before. my steak hoagie was dry and had unwanted mushrooms on it.

Ordered delivery from here 3 times now. Each time the food took 11/2 and arrived cold and gross. I only live a few minutes away too. Don’t waste your time ordering delivery from here !

Low quality pizza that was expensive with poor customer service. Employees were messing around in the back while my pizza sat on the counter getting cold while I waited to pay.

I tried to make an order by phone, something I have done for years. They would not take the order that I was to pick up without a lot of personal information aside from my name. Will not do business with this establishment again and will warn everyone I work with in the tech field, family and friends to do likewise. Looks like they are collecting date on potential and existing custormrs, stay clear of this business to protect your digital privacy.

Ordered a large pizza with half cheese and half pepperoni and mushroom. Paid for it and waited five minutes then they tell me they made it wrong put half mushroom and half pepperoni no half with cheese. They ask if this is ok? Uh no. Not what I ordered.So they say they will remake it. No apology. Basically no comment. Then I wait twenty minutes. They hand me pizza again no comment. No apology. I get home pizza is disgusting. Totally undercooked. Dough is soggy, mushrooms cold and even pepperoni not cooked. Threw it out and so disappointed. We have ordered from there for 13 years. Wouldn’t do it now!

John's has gone way down hill. Used to be the best. For me now I will be getting my fingers from the Audubon on Campbell. Their fingers are home made, they are huge and so tastey. Johns was Always expensive compared to Besta Pizza, Bocce and francos but the food was consistently good. the last straw for me ever ordering there again was the order of garlic parmesan chicken figners I attached a picture. You can't call these chicken figner you can call these chicken nuggets. Every singe one was smaller literally than the size of my finger. There food this last year consistently sucks. I had gotten a chicken figner sub there. Same thing. You could call it a lettuce and tomato sub for $13.00 with delivery and tip. I'm sorry for 13.00 you should have 4 chicken fingers on there not 2

Incompetent staff. Placed online order for 6:15 at 4:40. Came to pick up at 6:15. Girl said error with card(I entered in a wrong digit). My phone number was on order. You think they could have treated it like a pickup order(cash). Or here's a novel idea, call my number on the order. Left at 6:30. At least besta and bocce has their act together. Pizza undercooked. Wrong dressing with salad.

Always get told they don't sell slices after 2pm and on the off chance they do its like dry cardboard. Struggles to get orders correct regardless of simplicity. I've ordered here 6 times and only had a good experience that seems like it was a fluke.

I placed an online order to get a full sub, an order of poppers and an order of onion rings. The total was $21.72 however, I accidentally selected pick up instead of delivery. I called the location on Campbell to let them know I wanted it delivered. The woman who answered said she couldn’t fix my online order so she cancelled it, took my order again and told me my new total was approximately $23 (I don’t know the exact total because I never got a receipt). When my order got here I had only received half a sub. The delivery driver told me that the receipt had only said half a sub. Instead of trying to solve the problem with the delivery driver who could do nothing about it, I called the restaurant. This time a man answered the phone, I explained the situation to him and he apologized and told me he would personally deliver the whole sub to me as soon as it was ready. 45 minutes went by and I called the restaurant to check on the status of my order. This time a different man answered the phone and when I asked him the status of my order he said “honestly I have no answer for you because the delivery driver has the list of drop offs but he should be there within 5-10 minutes”. 20 more minutes go by and I had now been waiting over an hour for my sub. I called back the Campbell Road location and asked to speak with the manager. After explaining the situation to the manager he told me that I will not be receiving my sub, he had no idea who answered the phone and promised me the whole sub but it was my fault that the order was not put in right. I work at a group home down the road from the restaurant. My co-workers, residents and I order from the Campbell Road location several times a week however, after the way we were treated tonight we will not be ordering from here anymore.

Came here on my lunch break and ordered the lunch special of two slices and a drink. I was given a selection of what kind I would like, which I chose chicken finger. I waited 5 minutes and a girl came out to me to tell me they ran out and had to make another pizza that would take 10 minutes, so I decide to wait since I had already paid. 10 minutes the girl comes back out to tell me they still haven’t started it, seriously?? Got my money back and left. Awful place, won’t give this location my business again.

Only giving 1 star because I can't give 0. Every time we order from here, the order is wrong. Even when we mention to them at the time of pickup, we're treated with condescension and as if WE did something wrong. On top of that, their menus are outdated and they are well aware. When asked why they keep providing menus to people when the prices are much higher at checkout, we were simply told "everyone's menus are wrong". What an absolute ridiculous statement as a business.

Slices are so small🙄🙄 there basically the size of 7-11pizza. fountain drink is basically water or soda water😭😭😭. I won't be back💯

Customer service is nice but the food needs some serious help. I can tell they’re cutting costs through various orders. 4” crust on my pizza in the past as well as one chicken finger per sub roll on my chicken finger sub, with very very little BBQ sauce on it. Which confuses me because a simple BBQ chicken finger sub was $12.28 and I feel like I get ripped off each time I order from there. Unsatisfying experience each time

Wow! I have been ordering from here for years. Tonight we ordered at 745. The girl had no clue what was going on from the sound of it. Called back at 845 Still no food delivered. Called again she said ... " The delivery guy left about 15 mins ago and I'm positive he has your food. If not call back." It's now 2 hours later. Still no food ,😡 I'm never calling back now! Honestly I am a loyal customer but I'm never ordering from here again!

Ordered online... simple greek chicken wrap. Just the way it is on white tortilla. Had it delivered to my work for my short lunch break. Came super quick, probably because they didnt pay attention to the ticket and made it too fast to remember what they put on a wrap. I received the wrap on wheat (I cant eat wheat) and there was no greek dressing like stated on their website menu. I tried eating the insides, but it was so dry and the chicken was so hard. Unfortunately, I did not have the time to call and have this corrected as my lunch break is short. I'd stick with the pizza if you are ordering from here. Especially for the price.

Place an order at 6:54 it arrived at 8:04. All the food was cold. If I realized before the driver left I wld of had him take this back. You can tell food was sitting for a min. $40 just to heat food up ugh. Hardly any sauce on chicken fingers. This location never again

First and last time ordering from this place. Wanted to try the Reuben sub, sub was super greasy, corned beef was overcooked, and all I tasted was grease and sauerkraut. Fries were sub par, not crispy. Curly fries were not seasoned and tasted like they were fried in old oil. Overpriced for the quality of food.

Order was called in. Asked for oil and extra oil on side and also onions. Didn’t get any of it correct. Spent $45 for small pizza and three subs. Called manager and asked him if he could credit me the sub they messed up. He said no only would credit me a couple of dollars. Really? I just spent $45. Will not do business with them again. Can get a better meal elsewhere for the money.

Their description of the best chicken finger sub is way off. The picture shows onions but onions dont come on it. The bread wasn't toasted so it was soggy. I ordered hot and they were barely mild. 1st time ordering and it'll be my last. The guy at the counter was very nice, only positive.

Couple weeks ago Ordered a large pepperoni, guy on the phone gave me attitude when I asked a question. Showed up they made a smaller square pizza on accident. I didn’t mind. The catastrophic upset stomach I got after eating this pizza, I did in fact mind. I don’t know what to say, they have been a staple in the community for so long, waited to see if I would get over it and order from the again. Food is good. Disappointed in the service. I ordered online as I figured that is the easiest way to not get any mistakes on the order. I placed my order at 4. First it said it would be ready by 445. Then I get a message saying they are behind and would be ready at 5. No problem appreciate the heads-up. However I get there at 5 and they only had 3 of my 4 subs. The 'manager' didn't apologize but after I showed my receipt in the email he said to give him 5-10 minutes and would rush one out. 10 minutes later I was asked by an employee what I was waiting on and I said 4 subs. He then disappeared. Another 12 minutes goes by and I ask another employee. Who says he doesn't know and go gets the manager. Who then finds my 4th sub and gets it to me. No apologies or anything. I know it is a holiday today and they are busy, however I feel it isn't acceptable and will not be returning. The plan was for an easy dinner so I could get my littles out for Halloween trick or treating and were severaly delayed.

I put in an order hours ahead of time on their website to pick up for a party. I got there when the order was scheduled, and they barely acknowledged my existence. My order wasn't ready. The sub wasn't even started. After 10 minutes, I asked about how much longer the order would be. The guy at the register again didn't acknowledge my question. After another few minutes, he finally said it would be a few more minutes. I ordered ahead to avoid a wait. I understand that Friday nights are busy. I ended up waiting for a lot longer than expected because this restaurant couldn't manage their time. The worst was that there wasn't any type of apology or expectation set for a wait when I arrived. If you can't handle scheduled online orders, that shouldn't be a feature on your website. Edited to add: The pizza that took so long to get was also burnt to the point pieces of it were inedible.

Ordered a chicken finger sub but got this chicken nugget sub instead. The sad thing is the photo makes it look bigger than it actually is. I recommend avoiding this place and going to Johnny Cs, where you get 4-5 big fat tenders for the same price… Or heck, even your local gas station for a better sub.
