Efficient service and no wait to get a table. I had the garden crepe with a coffee. Crepe was delicious! The portions were large too. Lost a star in the review because the coffee was meh and my partner's bacon was pretty burned. Edit: came back at a lunchtime to try the Avocado Cheeseburger (pictured). S.O. had fish and chips with delicious salad (also pictured). Everything was great, so bumping to 5 stars.

We wanted to grab some breakfast before heading to the airport and found Christie's on Google. Um wow!!! I would consider myself a biscuits and gravy connoisseur and this was definitely the best biscuits and gravy I have ever had! The biscuit was fluffy, delicious, and you could tell it was homemade. The gravy was fantastic. Definitely recommend stopping into this place!!

Went there for the first time with some chick's hubby on our first date and oh my God... it was all perfect. Quick service, friendly hilarious staff, and a nice calm place to relax and enjoy a great meal. We shared the food but I loved the biscuits and gravy. He loved the coffee and his pancakes, definitely going there again for more biscuits!

Staff was friendly, had a great conversation with Tonya and Christy. The food came out in large portions and was perfectly cooked. To top it off the atmosphere is what really gives off a homey vibe, would definitely come again!

Great hospitality, fast service, tasty food and an awesome place for families to enjoy breakfast.

I wish there was a diner like this in my neighborhood in SF. Good place for a bite if you're waiting for your car at one of the many dealerships down the street. Fast, efficient service that comes back to check if you need anything often (which is great). The Denver omlette I had was perfection with the right balance of American cheese, ham, onions and green peppers. Crispy fresh hash browns. Buttered English muffin. Bottomless cup of session coffee. Someone is putting love into making this food. You won't leave hungry.

Good food and very nice staff. Not pretentious at all, which I like.

Stopped in on our way to the Airport while traveling through and was impressed. Great local spot with delicious food and hearty portions.

Classic diner with family-owned vibe. Delicious breakfast, friendly service and it really feels like everything from the hash browns to the avocado toast is made with love and pride.

This is seriously some of the best breakfast and lunch food my family and I have ever had. If you can’t tell by the name we are from Cleveland, OH and this place beats out all of our breakfast spots with ease. I would HIGHLY recommend coming here. When we came it was on a Sunday morning right at their “busiest” time and still there was plenty of room and never felt too crowded. Also the pancakes are as big as my head.

It’s a good old school diner for American style breakfast. The restaurant is tucked away far from the busy Burlingame Ave. It looks small from the outside but is actually pretty spacious inside. The food was delicious. We went for the class Eggs Benedict and French toasts with 2 eggs 2 bacon strips. The service was very quick as soon as you ordered. Before that, the staff let you have your time deciding because their menu was quite extensive. The hospitality of the owner and staff were friendly and welcoming.

Simple setting with great food. The portions are as they should be the “American way”. The service is fast and friendly. The coffee is good. My veg omelette was nicely stuffed with veggies and cheese accompanied with a large amount of roasted potatoes and rye bread. We also ordered Christie’s Skillet which was really well presented and super tasty. Give this place a shot. It is right across the train station in Burlingame on California Dr.

We were in town for a wedding. Came in for breakfast with the family and enjoyed our whole experience. The food came very quickly, and it was delicious. The service was great, we got multiple refills of our drinks and the staff was very friendly

Delicious breakfast with a diner ambiance. You pay the bill at the counter. Like most places oh the weekend it was busy. I had their turkey Benedict and the turkey they used was Delicious. They have outside seating on the sidewalk

This place has been around for a long time, I remember going here once before, maybe like 15 years ago.   I'm happy to see that it's still here and survived covid. I just learned this place has been around since the 80s.  Way longer than I thought and way before I was born, lol.   Walking in this place ll it definitely looks and feels like a homey old school diner. Tanya took my order, and she was super friendly and helpful.  She made me feel like I've been going here for so long.  She made me feel like family. I ordered: Meat Lover's Skillet (secret menu) - Bottom has hashbrown and then layered with meat and cheese.   It looks good and was maybe a little more than I expected. It was cheesy and salty with all the meats. Chicken Fried Steak w/ over medium eggs and home potatoes (gravy on the side) - travels better so it's not soggy.   This was super crispy still when I got home.  It was delicious. Portions are ginormous and have great service. Can't really ask for more.   I can't wait to come back soon and try their other items. Parking wasn't too bad, I like that it's a little bit away from the busy area. It's a little hidden gem.

Awesome breakfast find! Came here from a Google search. Wow! So glad we did. Cute diner ambience. Super friendly and attentive servers. Prompt coffee fill ups! Food was a 10! Huge portions. We enjoyed the American Scramble and Corned Beef Hash. Yum! Will come again.

Solid, very good food and generous portions! It was full of people of all generations when I went and it was loud with all of the people talking to each other. I can definitely see why it is as popular as it is! Menu prices were a good $2 higher menu pictures posted here! At least for the higher priced items. But I’m not complaining. The waitresses were all friendly and attentive. I sat at the counter and could see the chefs preparing food like a well oiled machine and when I got mine, I had to let it cool a little before starting! Fresh off the griddle and delish! I got their Joes Scramble ($16.95) and modified it with cheddar and avocado. The waitress and cooks were accepting of the mods and was attractively presented when it came out to me. I could tell that, even if it was a little chaotic, the waitresses and cooks worked very well with each other. I liked my experience there and plan to return again!

On a road trip stopped to have brunch this place is awesome. Great service and fast reasonable price and excellent food. Hostess and Server Kassie is very welcoming. Highly recommended and will be back. Best Chicken Fried Steak and Gravy.

Stopped by for breakfast. Looks kinda small from the street, but it's bigger than I thought when I went inside. Seated immediately. They menu had a lot to choose from. I decided on the meat lovers special of the day, and my friend decided to get the California omlet. Omg, huge portions at reasonable prices. Much better than Stacks. We both enjoyed our food and good service. We could have ordered one dish and split it.

To get me to come back a second time on vacation is insane. Amazing food, huge portions, good price, service is quick and polite, atmosphere feels homey. Get the home fries, you won't regret it.

Huge shout out to Christie’s. This place has that true family owned, tight knit restaurant vibe that’s getting harder and harder to find. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the care and pride behind everything they do. The freshly squeezed orange juice is unreal bright, fresh, and exactly how it should be. And the chicken fried steak… wow. Perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and smothered just right it’s straight fire. This is comfort food done right, the kind that hits every note and leaves you already planning your next visit. The portions are generous, the flavors are spot on, and the quality is consistent. They’re also dog friendly, which makes it an even better neighborhood spot for locals. What really sets Christie’s apart though is the people friendly, welcoming, and genuinely happy to serve their community. It feels like a place where regulars are family and new faces are treated the same way. If you’re looking for great food, honest flavors, and that classic neighborhood restaurant energy, Christie’s is a gem in Burlingame that absolutely deserves the love.

Came around 9:30 in the morning, and the restaurant was almost full. We were lucky we got table right a way. Parking is on the street. Interestingly, before we evrn seat, the server asked what we want for a drink. We ordered chicken fried steak with sunny side up and hashbrown. Yummy breakfast. I wish hashbrown is a bit crispier. Really recommend the chicken fried steak. You can also order chicken fried steak with egg benedict. The coffee is average.

Cutie little dinner, the service was really amazing! I had chicken and waffle it was really delicious unfortunately the batter is a little sweet which I’m not a fan of. The country steak was yummy 😋 hot chocolate was perfect! I can say that I would come back to try other things in the menu!

Breakfast was pretty good, coffee was great and service from our waitress (nice blonde lady, the other lady, brunette, wasn't quite as warm and friendly.) I should have gotten the chicken fried steak, which is what brought me to Christie's in the first place, but failed. I got the new York steak, and it was a pretty low grade and was over cooked for medium, but still tasted okay, was edible for sure.

The next time we think of going here, I'm going to think twice. Getting two costly for eggs,toast, and cheese on a plate!

About average for taste, nothing great but nothing terrible either. If you’re looking for old school, greasy spoon diner food, this might be for you. The blonde hair server who greeted us was super welcoming but unfortunately the brunette lady who seated and served us, she’s wasn’t warm at all and kind of checked out (I asked for recommendations but didn’t get an answer, my husband was putting his order in and she goes “wait, wait, wait” turns and talks to some people on the street she’s familiar with for a hot minute and then turns back to us and says “sorry, what can I get you?”. The whole interaction was bizarre and definitely not friendly. The place seems mostly popular for older demographic.

The portion sizes are great, and the service was very good, but the food was a little bland and the coffee is nothing to write home about. The cost is affordable and the place is cozy. My hash browns at home are better. 3 Stars for a decent, not excellent, meal.

Food here is very very average at best. Nothing particular stood out from a quality perspective. The huevos rancheros was pretty disappointing. And the avocado toast with egg is something you can make at home. Decent place if you’re looking for something normal.

As everyone mentioned, the portion of the meal is great. It was enough for me to take left overs after I was full. Unfortunately it may seem the food was contaminated due to me having to use the restroom within 30 min of leaving. To test my theory, I ate my left overs later that day and low and behold I found my myself with my pants around my ankles sitting on the toilet shortly after consuming the take away. 2/15/23

I come to Christi‘s quite often and so do all of my buddies because we live in Burlington. We are musicians. I’m upset at the fact that I love Christi’s hashbrowns potatoes for breakfast And the last two times I’ve eaten there. They have burnt my hashbrowns and gave me the roasted crispy parts that I don’t like and I’m not happy going there anymore.

We were in this restaurant last Tuesday. The servers were very friendly all of a sudden the kitchen staff started to yell at one of servers. We could tell that the server was humiliated. She approached the table and apologized. I am hoping that the management can address this as this ruins the atmosphere of the place. No one deserves to be treated like that it was obviously a harassment.
