Pella Signature

Pella Signature’s amenities are nothing short of spectacular. Is it very visually aesthetic and beautiful! I do think the size of the restaurant is a tad overkill, but as long as it doesn’t affect food quality then there is no issue. The food was flavorful. Every item on the menu is well put together. I personally got the mushroom risotto and I do think the mushrooms were a tad too big. Other than that it was delicious! They have great seafood (lobster bisque was phenomenal but could’ve been served hotter)but don’t come here just for seafood if that makes sense. Staff are all friendly! Desserts are definitely their biggest stand out. I would recommend for an adult night out.

The place and the atmosphere are amazing. The waitress was really nice and smiling. We had fried calamari and grilled seafood for the appetizers and they both tasted good but I loved the grilled one. For the main dish, we had pesto salmon, seafood cauldron, mushroom risotto, and pomegranate chicken which was the least favorite. I expected that they cook the chicken with the pomegranate. The desert was and everyone liked the crème brûlèe.

I recently dined at Pella Signature Restaurant in Burr Ridge, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish! The atmosphere is elegant yet inviting, with modern decor and a warm, welcoming ambiance that makes it perfect for both casual meals and special occasions. The service was exceptional—attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly without being intrusive. Our server was more than happy to offer recommendations and made sure our dining experience was nothing short of perfect. As for the food, it was absolutely delicious! The menu offers a great variety of expertly crafted dishes, with a perfect balance of flavors and presentation. Overall, Pella Signature Restaurant provides a memorable dining experience with top-notch food, exceptional service, and a wonderful atmosphere. Just beautiful! I was grateful to be apart of the friends and family soft opening. The place is a piece of art. My friend and I was seated on gorgeous large patio. We were greeted by our server, Bella right away. She was very informative about the menu and helpful in helping us to decide what we wanted to order. We tried many things that was delicious and the presentation was amazing, from appetizers to dessert. I would recommend this restaurant to anybody with confidence that their experience will be wonderful. If you are looking for a special place..I’m already looking forward to my next visit.

I recently organized an event at Pella Signature, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. Working with Maja was a pleasure—she was incredibly accommodating and made everything run smoothly. The food was delicious, the environment was beautiful, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Highly recommend for any special occasion!

We went here for appetizers & desserts (did entrees at another nearby restaurant) and everything here was amazing. This place is even bigger than I imagined inside. It is also sooo beautiful! Our bartender, Mima, was so sweet & knowledgeable. The service from all the staff was unmatched. Everyone was so welcoming! I highly recommend checking this place out when you get a chance. We had such a great time and will be back soon! The restaurant exceeded all expectations!

I see that there was shady people putting one star before the restaurant was even open. That’s what you call haters. If they are threatened by a beautiful restaurant like this and they should be! That they choose to send the negative energy, it’s only going to make this restaurant stronger! Don’t hate ! appreciate! I came Saturday night for the soft opening and Yes they could improve in service .. but that’s like every restaurant that is new! It takes time to get things right or change things that didn’t work out Etc ..I love the Decor, the food, and the dessert was the best ! And yes, it is pricey but it fits the quality they serve! They are going to do very well and I can’t wait to keep coming back just for the desserts! It’s a great place to be social and celebrate or just a gathering! You can’t expect perfection the first week! I do see it staying for a while because there’s no other place like this .

We happened upon this place while escaping a swarm of cicadas and couldn’t be happier that we did. From the moment we were greeted upon entry until we left, the service was outstanding. They even made an accommodation for us to change to an indoor table because a cicada got into the area and my friend is deathly afraid. Everything we ordered was really great and all staff we encountered were very pleasant. We look forward to bringing our larger friend group there again in the near future.

Went there on the soft opening of the place where they are trying to get feed back on the menu. So here is my honest opinion on the place. Atmosphere: Place looks amazing they did a really good job. 5 out of 5 Service: I know it is hard to find decent servers now a days but the people that served us were young and probably for most of them their first job so they ned more training. The waitress was polite, frendly and antentive but they kept bringing plates and drinks but did not pick up the empty ones. I had to get up and move them to an empty table next to us since we run out of place on the table. 3 out of 5 Food: Some good some bad. I had the 55 days aged ribeye steak and it was ok. Compared to steaks i had in the past in the same level i would give it a 3 out of 5. My wife had the Tagine and realy the only option for vegetarian exept a salad. She liked it and it was fine for me too. I would say 5 out of 5 only remark is this was a serving for 2 so you cant order a smaler portion if nobody wants to share. 5 out of 5 Frend had the mixed grill ( sausage, steak and lamb) i tried the sausage and it was really good, he orderd the steak medium it arived overcooked and lamb chop was ok. 3 out of 5 Frend wife had the seafood cauldron. It was big and i think you can feed at least two people. It reminded me of seafood boil but more like soup. For me this was the best tasting food from the above mentioned foods we ordered for the night. Deserts: passion coconut tart realy realy good defenety recomend. 5 out of 5 Open fire rosted pinaple did not try it frend said it was meh so i would give 4 out of 5 Crema catalina was basically creme brulee with choped fruit 5 out of 5 Gelato did not tried it but my frend and his wife said only one flavor was good cant realy judge this since it is ice cream and they might not like a particular flavor. Over all we had a good time, and i wish best of luck to the restorant success in the future.

Had a great experience at the Pella Signature, such a beautiful atrium. The Olive Focaccia and the Pesto Crusted Salmon were delicious. All the desserts we had were irresistibly delightful- had to order more pastries to-go!

The place is extremely beautiful 😍 Burr Ridge needed such restaurants! It’s huge, have indoor and outdoor seating, very luxurious and good quality details. Octopus is good 👍 Brussel Sprouts salad is good 👍 Burrata is good 👍 Smashed Fries are good 👍 Creme Catalana dessert is good 👍 Food is good, but some items like hummus and pita bread 🫓 are not tasty. I suggest chef works on these. Lamb chops - too much sauce, can’t feel the lamb chop taste. Kids menu is poor. Kids don’t like such dishes. Pasta pene has too many ingredients for kids. Kids like SIMPLE ingredients- butter noodles, marinara pasta, simple soup, white rice. Overall, Good job 👏 congratulations and feels like it will be one of our favorite spots!

We absolutely enjoyed our dinner at Pella Signature. What a beautiful place. The food and service was outstanding. The desserts was out of this world. We had tiramisu, Baklava Cheesecake, pecan, and strawberry cruffin. Thank you, chef Maria Mac for the amazing desserts

Just celebrated my birthday here with my friends, could not be more happy with the service and amazing ambiance. If you decide to dine defiantly try the double bone lamb chops they were amazing!! From the first steps in the hostess’s are so warm and kind, overall great experience! Highly recommend you visit!

Where do I begin. This place is amazing. The food was so delicious. We started with octopus and patatas bravas. We followed that up with the lamb chops with crispy brussels sprouts and the filet mignon with smash fries. 10 out of 10. I was definitely impressed. The atmosphere was great so was the service. Can’t wait to come back again!

Pella signature has outstanding food and service! I would recommend the fried calamari, Crispy Brussels sprouts and Mix Grill which could feed up to three people. The food runners especially stand out the most.

Pella Signature is only 30 minutes from downtown Chicago, and it is absolutely worth the drive. The place is beautiful, very well maintained, and the staff is outstanding—professional, friendly, and always willing to help. The quality of their products and service is truly top of the line. You can see the attention to detail and commitment to excellence in everything they do. Highly recommended for anyone looking for premium quality, great service, and an overall excellent experience.

I've been here a couple of times. I love this place so much! I love it so much that I had my bridal shower here. The food is delicious and fresh. The restaurant is beautiful! They have plenty of options if you're hosting an event as well. They can be a bit pricey, but it's such a beautiful restaurant.

The venue! The place! Its so calm and nice and relaxing and enjoyable. I love going there from time to time to enjoy even a salad after work. This last time we went it was with my coworkers after work and we ordered a variety of plates to celebrate a birthday. We loved the atmosphere and food. Totally recommend this place far from Chicago (like 30 minutes lol) but it is completely worth it honestly. There's easy parking access and stores around the plaza. A very nice place to go on about after the meal of you'd like. Something you normally don't find in the busy streets of Chicago Downtown.

Perfect place to celebrate something special. The service is high level, and the staff are friendly, attentive, and truly caring. I requested a table for a surprise proposal for my sister, and the team made the evening very special. Everything was handled with care. Thank you to the whole team. You did a fantastic job!

This is a great restaurant because the food is just that good! I've been here twice now and was fortunate enough to sit in the big atrium which I would highly recommend because it's beautiful. It has its own bar in there too because I believe you can rent out the atrium which would be a fantastic venue for a reception! The staff there are very attentive and you never have to ask for a cocktail because they are on top of it. Food is spectacular, they always have a nice raw bar selection, the oysters are always a go-to. The ribeye is perfect, the lamb chops and lamb shank, amazing! They have a fabulous beet salad! The menu is extensive, there is something for everyone! Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful and beautifully organized New Year’s Eve celebration. The atmosphere was lovely, everything was well planned, and the fireworks were absolutely stunning. The food was delicious, as always, and the ambiance made the whole evening even more special. It was a great party with amazing energy. Special thanks to Ivona — she was our server and was truly on point. Excellent service! Highly recommend!

Good food, good drinks, exceptional service, excellent dessert. Huge venue, reasonable price for the location. Danielle was our service and her service was sublime. Two of us, appetizer drinks entree and desserts, with a tip ... $300.

Really enjoyed Pella and have been here a few times. It has a very nice atmosphere close to home in the suburbs instead of having to drive downtown. The items we ordered were all good and the steak was surprisingly made really well. The Cacio e pepe pasta is my favorite- looks basic but tastes really good. Some of the appetizers are underwhelming but overall okay. Nice spot for date night and they have plenty of private dining options for small and large groups. Atrium/glass room seating is a vibe too. Bonus points for serving halal options!

The place is modern, clean, and beautiful. The food is delicious! We ordered the mezze platter, which was the perfect appetizer to share, and I had the Shopska salad that was also very tasty. Just to note, the salad came with an avocado paste on top instead of slices, which surprised me since I love fresh avocado. Also, my friend has a the beets and goat cheese salat and the beets were golden, not red as we were expecting. The service was great, and the location is excellent. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars for ambiance is because of the music—it felt a little off and too sleepy for the vibe. Other than that, everything was wonderful!

We went there for a special Valentine’s Day dinner. We got seated in the back room, which is all glass. The environment was beautiful, piano player/singer. Unfortunately, service and food was lackluster. Our waitress was friendly but It took way too long for us to get any attention. We had to ask for some bread, which was just very basic toast. The cocktails were just OK. The food unfortunately was pretty bland. We ordered the saganaki. Also had the wagyu burger (too salty), beet salad (standard), steak with porcini mushrooms, which was nice but standard. Definitely overpriced. Unfortunately cannot give this a five star review. The ways that they can improve would be to have faster service, provide some kind of bread and olive oil or something on the table initially, add more tasty items to the menu.

The ambiance and atmosphere is really great. Amazing outdoor glass room. Deserts are amazing. The menu could use a little bit more flavor. The Kobe beef kabobs lacked flavor. The eggplant dip lacked salt. The Peri Peri Chicken Kabobs were perfect. Took a little while to get served and even poured water I’ll be back once they are more established.

Although I had high expectations for this place, I must admit I was a bit disappointed. The food was tasty, but the amount of salt was over the top – and that’s not just my opinion; our whole group felt the same. Even the steak was too salty. On a positive note, I really enjoyed the tuna tartar – definitely worth a try! The restaurant itself is beautiful and very clean. But seriously, why so much salt in the food? 😀

Great place! We ordered the Tomahawk Steak, and it was juicy, tender, and delicious! The service was great to it took 17 minutes for our food to come. And the interior was glorious, also very modern.

The food is very good, and the restaurant is lovely. However, we should have requested another table. There was a party of 18 people seated three tables away from us. They also had a musician playing a bouzouki and singing. The atrium was NO place for a party this size with musical entertainment. They should have reserved a private dining room. We are all in our 60's and 70's, and had difficulty hearing each other.

We visited on a Sunday afternoon around 4:00. We wanted to visit since we are looking for potential rehearsal dinner/wedding shower venues and they have a beautiful four-season glass room. The drinks and appetizers are 10/10! Unfortunately, the filet mignon and the prime Wagyu Ribeye we ordered were both overcooked. My fiancé is not as picky and ate the ribeye as served, but I waited 15 minutes for them to cook another filet. For the price of the dishes, and since the steak is served pre-sliced, I would have expected that this would have been caught and corrected prior to it being brought to the table. They did compensate by bringing us desserts at no charge and our server was great! Overall, the atmosphere is enjoyable and I would return for drinks and appetizers, but would not return for a main course.

We went with a large group, the service was amazing and it's a really nice space. The food was just fine though. I got the pork tomahawk and it seemed a little small for the advertised size. It did taste okay though although some parts were a little over done.

Pella Signature offers a taste of Mediterranean cuisine in a pleasant setting, and my recent visit left me with mixed impressions. To start, my friend ordered the Baked Goat Cheese appetizer. While he enjoyed it, I found it a bit too heavy for my preference. That said, the presentation was appealing, and it might be worth trying for goat cheese lovers. For the entrees, I opted for the Shrimp Kabob and sampled my friend's Beef Medallion Kabob. The beef kabob was the highlight of my meal—it was cooked to perfection, tender, juicy, and paired beautifully with flavorful mushrooms. It was a truly memorable dish that I’d happily order again. Unfortunately, the shrimp kabob didn’t live up to expectations. The shrimp lacked seasoning, and the couscous and salad served alongside were bland and uninspiring. It was disappointing compared to the beef dish. The ambiance and service were definite positives, creating a welcoming dining experience. Despite my reservations about the shrimp kabob, I’m inclined to give Pella Signature another try to explore more of their menu. For now, I’m holding a 2-star rating, hoping future visits will reveal more of the restaurant’s potential. Would recommend: Beef Medallion Kabob Would skip: Shrimp Kabob I'm looking forward to my next visit!

Had a terrible experience at this restaurant! The service was awful, took 20 minutes to get our drinks. It also took a long time for the appetizers to arrive. When our order was taken It took 30 minutes for the server to pick the menus up from our table and that only happened because we flagged someone down to take them. The shrimp cocktail was very good and the mushroom flatbread was also very good. Someone in our party ordered an appetizer as their entree and asked to have it served with the other entries. It was brought out early with the promise that the other entries would be brought out shortly, fifteen minutes later, we still did not have the rest of the entrees, They took the dish back to keep it warm rather than just remaking it. When the rest of the entrees finally arrived they were cold. The lamb chops were expensive and sinewy. I have been trying to speak with the general manager for 3 weeks about our experience. He called back 2 days after my initial call. I was unable to talk to him and he said he would call back the next day. I gave him a time frame when I would be available and I never received another call. Also for some reason, the atrium was closed for maintenance the day that we were there. Not sure why, that was one of the reasons why we went to the restaurant was to experience dining in the atrium. $270 for dinner for 2 for poor service and cold food. Nice presentation, but too bad our entrees were ice cold. Such a poor experience and no resolution from the restaurant, couldn't be more disappointing, and I had high hopes. The response from Pella was bogus! I sent my information to them and the details of my experience and have not received a response since 11/24/23. So ridiculous!

I had a reservation for my anniversary but thanks to Panagiotis for making it worst. The food was good but the service was terrible. The server was not even a bit polite. He was behaving like he was serving us free food. I don’t know how these restaurant people hire them without any ethics. When I was leaving I told thank you and there was no response. I’m not gonna recommend this restaurant if you are going for your special occasion and make it worst.

I had extremely high expectations for Pella Signature in Burr Ridge, and unfortunately it was one of the most disappointing dining experiences I’ve had. The steak was genuinely the worst I’ve ever been served—overcooked, tough, and completely lacking flavor. The sides somehow managed to be just as bad, bordering on inedible and clearly an afterthought rather than a complement to the meal. The service made the experience even worse. Each round of drinks took about 30 minutes, our food took over an hour to arrive, and once we were finished, it took another full hour just to get the check. The only bright spot of the entire meal was the seafood tower, which was fresh and well-prepared—but one good item isn’t enough to justify the price or the frustration. For a restaurant that presents itself as upscale, the food quality and service were shockingly poor. I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend it unless you’re only stopping in for the seafood tower and have a lot of patience.

I generally avoid posting negative reviews, but this entire interaction was unacceptable and worth sharing. I had a very disappointing experience with Pella Signature in Burr Ridge. I reserved a single table for a small group. I initially booked 12 guests through OpenTable with no deposit required, and I have email confirmation documenting this. When I attempted to increase the reservation to 13 guests, I was prompted to call the restaurant directly to complete the booking. I did so in good faith, simply trying to be honest and accurate about my guest count. During that call, I was unexpectedly required to pay a $350 deposit for a standard restaurant table, not a banquet hall or private event space. At no point was I told, verbally or in writing, that this deposit was non refundable. No terms and conditions were provided, and I was NEVER asked to acknowledge or agree to any policy. In fact, I was told that cancellation within 48 hours would allow for a refund. I canceled the reservation almost four weeks in advance, giving the restaurant ample time to rebook the table which was supposed to be placed in the center of their public dining hall. Despite this, they refused to refund my deposit, citing a written policy that was never disclosed to me. I have documentation supporting all of the above. What made the experience worse was my interaction with the general manager, Christoph. He was incredibly rude, raised his voice, was dismissive, and ultimately hung up on me when I attempted to discuss the lack of disclosure. Clear communication and basic professionalism matter. Charging a large deposit without transparency and refusing a refund weeks in advance feels misleading and unfair. Based on this experience, I would not recommend booking here if you value clear terms and respectful customer service. This review reflects my own individual experience and is supported by documentation.

What an extremely disappointing staff and experience. As a soon to be bride, I was so excited and looking forward to celebrating my bridal shower at Pella Signature. The staff are beyond disrespectful. Christopher or Christoph, the manager, has a terrible attitude and does not know how to deal with customers. Making my family and I feel less than or too broke for this “million dollar” company as he said. Saying our money isn’t worth it because we reached out three times in one week to discuss details for an event. Not to mention Maya making inappropriate and discriminatory comments because my dad is Palestinian. Saying, “ I don’t like to deal with Palestinians”. How disgusting. When I told the manager that I will be leaving a review he said he couldn’t wait so that he can take it down. So this will be posted every single day to make sure it stays up. As a multimillion dollar company I hope you do better. This will be going to the owner Alexander Kostandinov.

Very Disappointing Valentine’s Experience As a professional waitress and bartender, I carefully reviewed the $115 Valentine’s 5-course special for couples before booking. We came as three couples, and although the atmosphere was nice and not overcrowded, the service ruined the evening. Our waiter was unfriendly from the start, didn’t introduce himself, barely communicated, and seemed annoyed that we ordered still water. He never once asked how the food was or whether we wanted another drink. Midway through dinner, I didn’t even have a drink and was never offered another. The lobster in our surf & turf was raw inside. We ordered crème brûlée shown on the website but were served strawberry cheesecake instead. The biggest issue was the bill — the $115 couple’s special was charged twice, bringing the total to $344 with just two glasses of Chardonnay. After questioning it, it was corrected to $172. This felt extremely dishonest. For a restaurant at this price point, the service was unacceptable. We won’t be returning and cannot recommend it.
