I had a great experience at STK Steakhouse OakBrook during lunch. Our server, Meme, was amazing from start to finish welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind. She checked on us at the perfect times, made thoughtful recommendations, and made sure everything was just right throughout the meal. Her positive energy really stood out and made our lunch feel special. You can tell she takes pride in providing great service. I truly appreciated her, and I would definitely return because of the experience she gave us.
Raheen is the best server ever! Attentive, answered my questions, and had a great sense of humor! I love a personable server!
I had a really solid experience dining at STK Oak Brook. It is certainly a different atmosphere than many of the steakhouses in the area but it's honestly nice to have a break in the monotony of fine dining. In a world of having to chose between Tapas with DJs or Fine Dining with Classical Music softly interwoven into the room, STK took the best of all of it, the DJ, the High Quality food, and even the Tapas part. The experience wasn't perfection, but the hospitality was beyond amazing and made up for any hiccup.
We celebrated my son’s 18th birthday here on a Tuesday and the vibes were great. Upbeat with gold drinks and food. Maykayla and Dee were great!
It was my wife and I first time coming here. And im glad that I did. The atmosphere was good and our waiter Raheen was nice and also very knowledgeable of the menu. I would come here again
I Came here right after a long week of work, I know the questions are small for happy hour, but oh my God the flavor of the food was literally amazing. It makes every two bites of the mini food matter so much. I got the flag goose tacos and the waygu bite with fries so Amazing. Daniel was my server and she did an excellent job. I felt very comfortable with him and he made sure we felt very welcomed and I was so glad to have them as a server. We had two managers checked on us, and Jermaine Helped make me feel comfortable and the other manager Dee Created an amazing atmosphere and created us feel very welcomed. I definitely want to come back here. The atmosphere was amazing. The decor was so cute and the food was overall very nice but I think what makes The experience a five out of five Was the staff and management. Period.
Great food and fantastic service! We went for lunch and Les was our server, he was absolutely AMAZING!!!! We went for my mom’s birthday and he was attentive and kind and made our afternoon so special! I was never without a Diet Coke he kept an eye on us and always made sure we had a beverage throughout our meal! And everything we ordered was delicious! My mom got the steak sandwich and I got the lunch special that included a Cesar salad and I picked the steak Frits. We will definitely be back and asking for Les!!!
I visited STK Oakbrook on Saturday, January 10th, 2026 to celebrate my birthday, and the experience was absolutely amazing. This was my boyfriend’s and my first time dining at STK, and from the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. Our server, Teaonnia, truly set the tone for the night. She was extremely knowledgeable about the menu, attentive, and her customer service was top-tier. She made our first visit feel special and welcoming, which really meant a lot. Now let’s talk about the food—hats off to the chef! I had the salmon, which was seasoned to absolute perfection. My boyfriend ordered the steak, and he said it literally melted in his mouth. The garlic butter was the perfect finishing touch and made it feel like our dishes were prepared with genuine love and care. The DJ was wonderful, adding great energy to the atmosphere and making my birthday celebration even more enjoyable. Thank you so much, Teaonnia, for such a memorable experience. We will definitely be back!
I’m still here enjoying myself and had to rave about my experience! From being greeted at the door by MEME, to the receiving recommendations from JESUS, to our table staying cleaned and refreshed by JUAN … but the star of our dining experience was MICHAEL T!!!! MICHAEL T. seriously was so attentive, informative, helpful, and kind. He also told us a great story which was accompanied by a special name he thought of for a drink on the menu, but I will allow him to tell you about that 🤩!! Pls ask him about it, it’s a good one! The food was amazing too, compliments to the chef! The icing on the cake was MEME (her energy is electric!!) checking on us and making sure our entire experience was amazing and it WAS! This was my best STK experience (I’ve visited many locations here in IL and out of state), thank you!! I will be back! ⭐️
Clean and delicious food. Andrea was our waitress, she was fast, friendly, and sweet. All of the food was very good. But oh my those Wagyu tacos are to die for!!! Love this location and downtown
Michael T is a great server very informative, told us everything about the sauces and butter, what people liked, without the pressure of “get it or it won’t be good”. The salmon was delicious and so was the New York strip , the mac & cheese wasn’t bad either. I had the asparagus yum! The music was good too on Sunday night (giving upscale club). The drinks were great also I had the strawberry cobbler & the guava gin that is award winning. He told us snoop & Dr.Dre made the drink & it made the menu. Anyway Michael T is the bomb. Would love to be served by him for the steak next time.
Great experience at STK, our waitress Melissa killed it! She was so fun, knowledgeable, gave great recommendations and really made the entire experience. Honestly, one of the best servers I’ve seen in this area in awhile! Great food. Great experience. Cotton candy desert AMAZING

Went to this location for my birthday and it was a 10/10 experience. The atmosphere is clean and beautiful. Our server Kierra was welcoming and personable, and she went above and beyond to navigate me through the best items on the menu:) I got the calamari appetizer and it was good but nothing special, however, I tried the filet with table side melted waygu butter (per Kierra’s recommendation) and it was one of the best steaks I’ve ever had!!
Natalia was amazing. She was very helpful with explaining everything on the menu. She gave us some really great suggestions. We both have not had oysters in a very long time. Great suggestion The food was delicious. The mushroom arancini was really surprisingly tasty !!!! That will become a regular order for us. The drinks were great they were not too sweet. Stopped in for lunch today and everything was super delicious and wonderful. We’ve been to the downtown Chicago location and the oak brook one is just as good. Raheen was our server and super friendly and prompt. Will definitely be back and recommend when we want a nice date night out!

Hands down one of the BEST dining experiences I’ve had at STK and it was all because of Pearl! She is not only incredibly professional and attentive, but so down to earth and genuine. From the moment we sat down, she made us feel like family. Her recommendations were spot on, her timing was perfect, and she anticipated what we needed before we even had to ask. It’s rare to find service that feels both elevated and personal. Pearl delivers both effortlessly. You can tell she truly loves what she does. I will absolutely be asking for her every single time. We went here for our birthday lunch and had a fantastic time. Our server was Jonathan who was amazing. I was a bit of a handful as a guest with a lot of questions and my man Nails every single one. I have been dining at STK's for over 15 years and was thrilled to see one opening in Oakbrook. It was my first time having brunch and it was amazing! The food, the presentation, the diversity of the menu and most of all, the service made for such a great experience. We did the all you can eat offering and added steak which made it an even better meal. We are very lucky to be surrounded by great places to eat but what really made this experience was the staff and overall experience. From the hostess to when we walked in to the waiter and manager, everyone went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed the experience and the quality of the meal was fantastic. We are looking forward to making this a regular thing and want to thank the staff for creating such a great experience
This was my first time at this STK location and it was a great experience! I came in for the Happy hour specials. The bartenders Sisi, Pharris and Angel were awesome. They were so friendly and attentive, I'll definitely be back!!
My host Teaonnia was absolutely great!! The food, the atmosphere, the music, host and management did a superb job in making my husband and I feel very welcome. The food was a 10 out of 10. This restaurant will not let you down. Thanks Teaonnia we will definitely be back.

The steak was cooked perfectly — tender, flavorful, and seasoned just right. The sides were just as impressive, especially the truffle fries and mac and cheese, which were rich and delicious. Every dish was beautifully presented and tasted just as good as it looked. The service truly made the night special. The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, offering great recommendations and checking in at just the right times. You can tell they care about providing a top-tier experience. After a terrible first experience at STK due to our waiter, we were hesitant to return but we’re so glad we did. We were invited back for a chef-curated experience, and it was absolutely out of this world. The food was incredible, and the service completely changed our perspective. Robert was an amazing waiter. He was attentive, professional, and consistently checking in to make sure we were well taken care of throughout the evening. This experience truly turned things around for us. I have a several food allergies and they were checking twice my food inquiries when taking my order! Looking forward to dine here again!
STK is one of those places you go to when you’re feeling a little fancy and your wallet is feeling… brave. We kept it fairly classic and ordered the burrata, a porterhouse steak to split, and the mac n cheese. My wife also grabbed the strawberry mojito, which was refreshing and dangerously easy to drink. Before anything else, the bread came out warm, soft, and doing its absolute best to steal the show. It came with regular butter and a blue cheese butter spread, which was surprisingly good and honestly set the bar pretty high right out of the gate. The porterhouse was cooked well overall, though a few pieces leaned a bit past where we wanted them. We added the wagyu umami butter, which was good, but not quite the “where has this been all my life?” moment I was expecting. The mac n cheese, however, delivered—especially that cheesy crust on top, which might have been my favorite bite of the night. Big shoutout to our server, Michael, who was excellent. Super attentive, answered all our menu questions, and made the experience feel smooth and relaxed. Overall, STK is a decent steakhouse with good vibes and great service. It’s definitely on the pricey side, and while the food was good, it didn’t completely knock our socks off. Still a nice spot for a date night or special occasion.
The food was not worth the price. The service was nice but the prices are way too high. I had Chilean Sea Bass and crispy Brussel sprouts and apple pie. The sea bass and brussel sprouts were ok but the apple pie needs work. Also the crab cake for the starter seemed like it needed a little more cooking to do. Also not crazy about the DJ music. This restaurant is an upscale but it should be more like Grand Lux.
Dined here for a business dinner last week. Was excited this location just opened recently and I had visited downtown Chicago over 10 years ago and had a good impression. Overall it was a bit disappointing. Here’s the details. The atmosphere is absolutely stunning, the music is on trend, they have a cute Photo Booth and lots of photo opportunities. It’s a good spot for a special occasion. The service was very disappointing for a few reasons. When you’re paying 200-250 per person the wait staff should be VERY attentive this however wasn’t the case. It was a weeek night at 6 pm so it wasn’t super busy. The waiter just failed at quite a few things. First drinks took forever, why?! I can’t imagine how long I’d have to wait on a Saturday night. Second they didn’t even clear the appetitizers or bring the bread until the dinner entre arrived, he said that they take the order all at once and it comes out not rushed, I felt rushed and drinks were empty at this point. Third never offered dessert just brought the bill. Again this is a weeknight it’s not crowded if we want to sit why are you bringing the bill ?! What if we wanted another cocktail. Nothing more was offered. Forth the manager brought our food out and said the lobster butter is amazing on the sea bass which 3 of us ordered so he talks us into it and brings it out (cold) then hits it with a blowtorch. VERY COOL yes it was an awesome ambiance but why didn’t the waiter offer to do that?! It was quite an upcharge I didn’t think it worth it again it was sorta cold. The food was very good. We had the calamari the Burrata and the ceviche as appetizers. We did end up getting the donuts as a dessert. And majority of us had the Seabass one person got fish and chips. The waiter had stated that they were the best fish and chips in the world. We can now say that they are not. Overall, I would return, but I hope that they are able to train their staff a little better on service and not to feel so rushed while dining.
Very pricey for what you get. They offer a lunch special for $45 and hubby got it which included 2 mini tacos and 6 oz filet. We started with Shrimp for an app that was good, hubby's filet was salty as well as his bacon Mac & cheese. I ordered mushroom pie that was ok. All wines are 18 and up per glass and was not impressed with selection. Wouldn't hurry back here. Too many exceptional restaurants in the area
I really hope that they make some changes at this location. Went here with a few girlfriends for galentines and it was disappointing. Honestly, for a restaurant with this rep as well as price point, we do expect service to be at least reasonable. After arriving, they told us that the heat in the restaurant was broken in some parts. It was freezing. The table next to us requested to be moved- they sat another table and one of the women was using a napkin on her back to block the cold air being blown in. One of my friends had to wait awhile for her drink. It was made wrong. After our appetizers, and meals came out, they finally brought the correct drink. No one was around to address it. We ended up having to go to a hostess to get help. When her steak came, it was raw. Literally cold and purple. My other friends steak was also raw. STK is supposed to be an upscale restaurant and this was a very low experience. We were able to get a manager involved but being a business owner myself, I would want to know about the experience consumers are having to make the appropriate changes.
Honestly I was expecting more from the food. It was good but for the price it was underwhelming. Service was excellent. Our server Rudy was awesome and attentive. I'd be interested to see what the lunch menu looks/tastes like. Overall it was a good night out but as a full on steakhouse it did leave something to be desired.
We had reservations for noon 2 days before Valentine's Day. We were presented with a Valentine's Day menu. A small filet mignon was $80, no side item included. My Girlfriend had a pasta Dish that was around $70. We had a serving of oysters that were $33. The food was good. The service was exemplary. I had one glass of wine and after tip the total bill was 266 dollars. The restaurant was completely empty except for a group of businessmen who looked at the menu and scoffed at the prices and walked out. I was prepared to pay a lot because this is basically our one big splurge of the year. I was particularly Disturbed by the fact that this was not a 10 oz filet mignon. Looked more like a lady's filet. Also, they don't serve bread while you're waiting for the meal. It just irks me that we paid $266 and didn't even get bread, and I even asked for it. Wow, I will just never go to this place again. Like I said the servers and the bus people were wonderful but it was such a rip-off
I came here for the first time on a first date. I want to say that the overall experience wasn’t bad, I was just underwhelmed. I was excited to try STK because I’ve heard all about it on social media and it has great reviews (I’m big on reviews! I won’t go anywhere without reading them first) so I had high expectations. We had a reservation at 8pm and arrived right on time but still had to wait 10 minutes before our table was ready. It was really loud in there and hard to have a conversation sitting across from my date and normally I don’t mind music, but it was pretty loud even for me. Our server was kind and knowledgeable about the menu, he offered suggestions which I appreciated. My date had a sore throat so I asked for hot water with lemon for him and the server told me they’re out. I was like you’re out of hot water at a restaurant? He said another guest ordered some earlier in the evening and they couldn’t serve it but that he would check for us. I had to ask 2 more times after that before we finally got the hot water and lemons but at least it came. Our server was a sweet kid though just a tad forgetful, maybe he was new I’m not sure. (I just went back and read other reviews, this location opened about a month ago so now my entire experience makes sense) We shared the calamari as an appetizer and it was good, no complaints there, we weren’t offered any of that blue cheese bread others mentioned is free. I had no idea about it until now while writing this. I ordered the surf & turf 6oz fillet med well and shrimp for my main course. The steak was overcooked so I wasn’t happy about that and they forgot to give me a steak knife to cut it so I had to ask for one. Not a big deal but it’s a steakhouse cmon 😭 The steak was kind of plain in my opinion you can get a better one from Longhorn I’m not even exaggerating. The steak wasn’t seasoned well. My date ordered the lobster pasta and I actually liked his entree way more. The best part about my dinner was the watermelon margarita I ordered, it was really good. Overall, STK did not meet my expectations or live up to the social media hype. From other reviews it sounds like a hit, but for me this time it was a miss. I didn’t pay the bill but I peeked at it and for $300 I don’t know that I would be interested in returning.
I understand that when restaurants are new, there can be some growing pains, but STK Oakbrook completely missed the mark. First, the space itself is tiny. There is no proper dining room. The small seating area near the front entrance, behind the bar, feels like what most restaurants would consider a lounge, not an upscale steakhouse. Tables are so close together that people constantly have to squeeze past you just to get to their seats. It honestly felt chaotic. That lack of space clearly affects the staff as well. Three separate times in one night, food was brought to our table that wasn’t meant for us. I even watched one server bump into another and spill a drink, something I’ve never seen happen at other steakhouses. The layout is simply impractical. For the prices they charge, this should not feel cramped or disorganized. They should honestly rebrand this location as STK Lounge, because it does not live up to the steakhouse experience you expect from the brand. Another detail that added to the unprofessional feel: our entire group, all clearly in the 30–40 age range, was carded when ordering drinks at the bar and the table. The bartender mentioned that his boss was present so he had to ID everyone. If that’s the policy, guests should be ID’d at the door before being seated, not at the table mid-service. It came across as disorganized and awkward, not upscale or polished. Second, the Valentine’s Day menu felt misleading. The 8 oz filet was removed from the regular menu, leaving only medium and large steaks, which felt very intentional. The 8 oz filet was instead placed on a Valentine’s menu and advertised with lobster on top. What arrived was not lobster, but a shrimp. When we questioned it, the server said it was a “mini lobster.” Shrimp and lobster are not the same thing, and advertising it as lobster at a steakhouse is unacceptable. Please see photo attached of “lobster”. Lastly, part of what sets STK apart is how they celebrate special occasions. At every other STK location I’ve been to, birthdays are acknowledged with a complimentary shot, sparklers, or a small dessert. Here, nothing. If you’re celebrating something special, don’t expect them to go above and beyond like other STK locations; which is disappointing, especially given the brand reputation and pricing. I’ve been to STK in multiple major cities, not just Chicago, and this location was by far the most underwhelming. The only positive was that our server was very kind; unfortunately, that alone doesn’t make up for the overall experience for my birthday.
Absolutely horrible! The colossal lobster tail was so overly seasoned I couldn’t believe it! It was like they spilled a bottle of salt on it and then just decided to serve it. Completely inedible. The cowgirl steak was tough and again, overly seasoned. I like a little seasoning on my steaks but this was ridiculous! The Red King Crab was more like snow crab than King crab. Very small legs and not that great— better than the steak and lobster tail but not at all worth $400. If Sizzler and Ponderosa are still in existence, those are better choices! Coca Cola was flat and they had to serve us bottles and they initially brought me the wrong steak out. Not a good experience!
Came here for the restaurant week special, i had reservations for 1pm that was never saved in their system. Then the server took 16 minutes to take my order while the restaurant wasn't that crowded. I ordered my steak medium , the server asked me pink all the way through and I said yes. It took them 30 minutes to bring me my steak and it was well done. I also ordered the Burrata special for my appetizer which was extremely bland and flavorless. While waiting for my food the table to the right of me went off on the manager for the restaurant trying to overcharge him and the table to the left of me had to have their food sent back because it was the wrong order. Overall this was a horrible 1st experience in this establishment and I won't come back anytime soon. The only upside is the manager didn't charge me for the food due to this issue.
I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at STK Oakbrook. We chose this restaurant to celebrate my fiancé’s birthday and made reservations well in advance. We arrived on time, valeted our car, and checked in, expecting to be seated shortly. However, we immediately noticed 10–15 people waiting in the lobby, which was concerning but something we initially brushed off because we had a reservation. When we checked in, the hostess informed us there would still be a wait. When my fiancé asked how long, we were told there were ten tables ahead of us waiting to be seated. This was shocking considering we had a confirmed reservation. The hostess explained that “the app” had double-booked the restaurant and mentioned this was not the first time it had happened, although they hoped to resolve the issue soon. We asked to speak with a manager. While the manager was polite and apologetic, she explained they were running behind because guests were lingering at tables and that they were working to clear them. By this point, it was already after 8:00 p.m., and we ultimately had to scramble to find last-minute reservations at another restaurant. I have several concerns about this experience. If double-booking is a known issue, why has it not been resolved? Why allow reservations to continue if the restaurant cannot accommodate them? Additionally, why are there no dining time standards in place, especially on a busy Saturday evening? Established restaurants often implement time guidelines to ensure reservations are honored. This situation significantly dampened what was supposed to be a special birthday celebration. We were very excited to try STK, but unfortunately, this experience left us frustrated and disappointed. I can't review it on anything pertaining, to food, or service, but felt that this experience needed to be noted.
The place was very loud not from people talking but the music. Usually what happens in these situations is that people start speaking louder because the music is so loud which then makes the place overall very loud. First issue I had was that I ordered their old-fashioned which was way too sweet. They swapped it out with another old-fashioned that was just as sweet. I ordered my steak medium, but it came out medium well This place takes service to a point where it becomes very intrusive at several points. I had different servers whooping from behind me just to ask how everything was. At first, I didn’t think much of this, but after a while it kept on happening where it just became startling when somebody was swooping from behind you and start asking you questions while you are trying to just eat your food. I get that they’re trying to show that it’s a team effort, but I told my server if they’re going to do that, please approach the table make eye contact with me and then engage with me because at one point while having food in my mouth one of their other servers came over out of the blue and started talking to me, and I almost choked on my food because it was just very startling. Towards the end of the my meal, our server came over again to ask how everything was doing, and I told him probably the best thing to do in the future is to approach a table make eye contact, and then ask how things were because it was very startling and the spike this no manager came over to apologize or addressed the situation which basically told me they really didn’t care what I thought. I would not recommend this place for anyone that has either friends or family who are very sensitive to loud noise. Lastly, they didn’t seem to know if certain of their foods were gluten-free, which can be dangerous to certain people. The bill ended up being over $300 and I would have not rather had spend that here.
Arriving valet was unorganized. That was the 1st red flag. Waited about 20 minutes to valet that was never successful. We eventually just found a park around back. Our reservation was for 9:00pm. So, we ordered a couple drinks & appetizers. Those were ok. It is now about 10:00. Now the waitress brings us shots of juice because there wasn't any liquor in them at all! She's steady telling us the food will be out in a bit. Another hour goes by it's now 11:00. I have to work the next so, I'm ready to go at this point. About 11:30 the food comes out & is not what I expected. I ordered the king crab pasta & it was nothing more than a crusted mound of Mac & cheese with specs of crab meat for $70! He had chicken & it was the smallest half of chicken we'd ever seen. He never even had the opportunity to taste it because they took his utensils & never returned them. The atmosphere was entirely too loud. I will never be returning. They will not last there unfortunately.
