Sausage kolaches were dry and now have a sticky sweet glaze on them. I was disappointed.

I came in around 0830 on the 21st of Aug and the lady behind the county was rude and rushed. The apple fritter was old and the PITB was cold even after I asked for it to be heated. If your not closed please have fresh product until you close

Uhhhhh... am I being punk'd?? This place is something straight out of a bad sitcom...and NO ONE is laughing. The lady behind the counter LITERALLY yelled at a maybe 12 year old girl in front of me trying to fill her box of a dozen because she was taking too long to decide (in the lady's opinion...I didn't mind her taking time to make choices and my son and I were the only other customers at the time) When the little girl picked something she wanted the lady put a different donut in the box...not one time... not two times...but three times!! And then when the girl asked to use apple pay, the lady SNATCHES her phone and almost throws it back to her after she scans it. My 10 year old was almost afraid to order his breakfast 😅 This lady is a hot dang mess!

Donuts were great. I wish I could say the same about costumer service. My daughter and I felt rushed by the lady behind the donut counter while ordering our donuts (I’m sure we weren’t the only ones that felt that way) and she intentionally didn’t grab the correct donut I wanted because she was rushing to take the other peoples orders.

In terms of actual mileage, this shop is the closest to us. But we usually visit the one further away. Simply because we enjoy the donuts there better. But mainly as others mentioned in their reviews. The first time we went, my wife ran in to get some donuts. She came out with her own mood now bad because of the woman inside. Well, maybe she was having a bad day. So we waited a while to come back, same thing. This time, I go. I thought to myself, I’ll keep my order simple. A half dozen glazed, a half dozen chocolate and a dozen holes for my youngest. I walk in, two people in front of me. I watch the people in front of me, just callous and unresponsive to the their pleasantries. I get up to the counter place my order. Say my usual “thank you” and “good morning”. Nothing. I pay and say thank you and have a great day. I get the stone face “really?” look. Get home so the little can eat before his baseball tournament. Donuts are mediocre at best. Because of the nonexistent good customer service and meh donuts, a return visit is most definitely not in the cards. We will continue to go to the shop in Lavon. But if you like this place, that's fine. And your experience might be different than mine.

I usually only write reviews when service is good but OMG will someone please put another donut shop in Caddo Mills that will be glad to have the business. On 04-14-25 I visited this shop as I do often and although the donuts are great and taste great, it is very very obvious the girl working there does NOT want to be there. Not sure if she is just hired help or a family member but she is obviously very angry about here situation. Maybe she is forced labor..I don't know but she was intentionally going as slow as she possibly could this morning. It was blatantly obvious. If someone ever puts in another donut shop, this would would vanish overnight.

The service is terrible. The lady at the counter is rude. You have to ask for a box otherwise they will shove 12 iced donuts into bags. Then she’s more rude because you ask for a box. When you pay, she does not give you a total, just reaches out her hand for your card. My receipt just says “base pay,” nothing is itemized so can’t tell if you are being charged correctly. Then I had to ask for my receipt that she ripped off of the 30 receipts printed off ahead of me where it’s clear they offer no one a receipt. I will not be back.

I usually only write reviews when service is good but OMG will someone please put another donut shop in Caddo Mills that will be glad to have the business. On 04-14-25 I visited this shop as I do often and although the donuts are great and taste great, it is very very obvious the girl working there does NOT want to be there. Not sure if she is just hired help or a family member but she is obviously very angry about here situation. I stopped coming to this donut store many years ago because of the rude owner..well today i gave her a chance to redeem herself and I should have known nothing has changed. I came here because it’s closer to my home and i should have made the extra trip to royse city. They have no fun kid donuts, my little one was a little upset about that as the one in royse city goes all out. Didn’t help this lady was hateful as hell on top of it. I’ll never be back. I hope they open a donut shop in Josephine or Caddo to make this one shut down, they do not deserve the communities money.

The sausage breakfast taco/burrito is all potato! It is 1 sliced sausage patty, about 4 small egg crumbles, cheese and the rest is mushy mashed potato. No seasoning. Very bland, and a pile of mush. Very disappointed in the breakfast taco. Too much $ for what I got. Mcd’s is better! Donuts are good, could use fresher oil.

The donuts are ok but the service is TERRIBLE. The prices are questionable and she never offers a receipt. I always feel like she’s telling me to hurry up even when the store is empty. My toddler is always wants something fun like a star sprinkled donut and even though that’s what I ask for she’ll just give you any kind of sprinkle.

The sausage breakfast taco/burrito is all potato! It is 1 sliced sausage patty, about 4 small egg crumbles, cheese and the rest is mushy mashed potato. No seasoning. Very bland, and a pile of mush. Very disappointed in the breakfast taco. Too much $ for what I got. Mcd’s is better! Donuts are good, could use fresher oil.
