I drove here from Pismo for a tri tip sandwich and a salad. Never fails to be delicious! Then a quick trip to Moonstone Beach and it's a perfect Saturday afternoon
yo go here a lot because i go to morro bay a lot and this place is pretty sweet. birgers always super diper filling and tasty as well as the fries, althought las papas fritas have some weird seasoning on them thats sort of mid. everything else here is pretty good though, i would eat outside because the inside smells really bad because i dont think they clean los banos bery well
Great menu for the entire family. Everyone was able to get something that they liked. I split a Southwest salad and a tri tip sandwich with my daughter. We bought a basket of fries for our table of 5 and had left overs. Also, enjoyed a "cider of the month".
Food was super fast, and good. We had the ABC burger and the Monster burger, with fries and onion rings. All very messy and good. The burgers are reasonably priced, but a little pricey on the fries and rings. My only question was why we got 2 sides of ranch, I thought it just came with, but the receipt showed that we paid for them when we didn't ask for them. At any rate, we found out that onion rings aren't bad with ranch!
Main Street Grill, Cambria – Review Main Street Grill is exactly what you want from a proper American bar-style spot. Big screens showing football, laid-back vibe, and no nonsense. You come here hungry and you’re leaving full. Portions are big and the food is proper hearty stuff – think classic American comfort food that actually hits the spot, not fancy, just done well. It’s the kind of place you go when you want a solid feed, not a delicate little plate. Beer selection is decent too – enough choice to keep you happy while you watch the game. Overall, it’s a great casual stop in Cambria if you’re after big portions, proper bar food, and a sports-bar atmosphere.
The Tri-tip sandwich is a must-try! The most tender Tri-tip I've ever had! My husband got the pulled pork and it too was amazingly delicious! The Ranch Beans were so good. The overall location is extremely clean and well-kempt. Foods range from seafood to BBQ to salads. If driving on Hwy 1 - don't miss out on this Main Street mainstay!
Wonderful huge open dining, easy , interesting menu! Full of interesting side dishes! Everything is yummy and great quality. Wide variety and great value. Drinks and sports tv’s flowing. Ample parking close to all other places in town .
My boyfriend and I came here two separate times on our trip because we loved it so much. Food was fantastic both times, super quickly made, friendly staff, and the price for the portions we received was a great value, especially compared to other places in the area!! Lots of indoor & outdoor seating. They give you a number and call it out loud so you can pick it up. Nice system. Bar and football playing as well. What’s not to love. (fries were AMAZING)
Decided to come here due to seeing really good reviews on Google. We were staying down the way in San Simeon and didn't want an expensive sit down meal. We were really impressed with the food. Both the tri tip sandwich and pulled pork were fantastic ! This is a must stop if you love BBQ meats.
If awesome tri-tip sandwiches, really good fries, and the Best Value place to feed a hungry crew… this is it! We loved it, the entire family did! Just go!
Great food at a reasonable price. You order and pick it up when they call your number. I got the shrimp and chips and my sister wanted the ABC burger. My fries were well seasoned and the shrimp was crispy and paired with tangy cocktail sauce is close to nirvana. My sister's burger was juicy and full of flavor! My only gripe is seating is not very comfortable and it is a bit stuffy in the room. But a must to eat at if you are in Cambria!
One of my favorite spots in town! This place serves delicious, made-to-order American comfort food with generous portions at a great price. It’s a great casual restaurant to bring the whole family with quick service. It was so good, I had to come back for more!
My favorite place on the coast. I ALWAYS stop by when I go to San Simeon or the Morro Bay area. They also run the dog house grill if I remember correctly. Their Cobb salad is my favorite and no matter how hard I try to get something else I always get a cobb.
A "must stop" during a trip to Cambria or just passing through while taking a road trip on the famed Pacific Coast Highway! The staff is friendly and the food is beyond awesome, especially the tacos! They are oversized and stuffed with whatever choice of meat you select! Puts some traditional taco shops to shame. The burgers are cooked perfectly and the fries are fresh, hot, and one order is a lot! The onion rings also rock!!! The menu selection has quite a bit of variety. Plenty of seating both indoor and outside. Dining outside is a beautiful experience with the fresh air and observing the town of Cambria. Great ambience with a "beach town" vibe!
Great food fast!!! Seriously, all our food was here and ready by the time we returned from washing our hands! Fun place with a bar and tvs. Family friendly. The fries are consistent and delicious! The trip tip and pulled pork are off the charts!
We were greeted by friendly staff. Great burger and sandwich options at a reasonable price. And if you like French fries, this is the place! Their basket of fries is enough for 4 people. Highly recommend if in the area.
Good food here, very casual atmosphere. Order at the counter and pick up when they call your number. Update June 2023: Split the Ortega Burger and the Fish and Chips. Both were superb. The fish and chips batter was really lite and not too greasy and not fishy at all. The fries are awesome. Everything worked really well together in the burger. Never been disappointed here.
My family really enjoy this place. We stayed the weekend in Morro Bay, but decided to take a drive to Cambria to walk the beautiful Moonstone Beach boardwalk trail. After the walk, we were ready to eat. The outdoor seating are was large and offered both shaded, and sunny areas. The food at Main Street Grill was delicious and fresh. The fish and chips was crispy, light, and fluffy. The Pig (shredded pork) sandwich was really good. There was a good serving of meat on the roll - my wife enjoyed it a lot. My Cobb Salad with chicken was really good! The grilled chicken was juicy, the lettuce was fresh and crisp. My son really liked his cheeseburger. It was a good size and the fries were delicious. We are definitely looking forward to returning next time we're in the area.

This is a great place if you want large quantities of food fairly quickly and you want to watch a ballgame with a lot of other people. I bet this place is a blast during playoff games! Kind of noisy but not too bad closer to closing time.
It was ok for me. I can see the appeal of it but the ribs were just ok. The food comes out pretty quickly. I believe they are known for their beans as well, was different.
We ordered a bunch of stuff for dinner, since we have a puppy and the outdoor seating is getting a little cold, we brought it to eat at the hotel. The service was prompt and everything was nearly packed. The food was pretty sumptuous and generally pretty good. Our favorite was the pork ribs. It was soft, juicy, fall off the bone, and tasty. We were surprised at the size of cole slaw, for $2.99 we were expecting a small side but it was like a medium side order. The clam chowder was the next favorite on our list, it was still sufficiently hot when we tasted it in the hotel. The Asian salad was nicely put together with a good variety of ingredients and well presented, though I wasn’t a fan of the dressing, it was oily and didn’t have much flavor, it seems to have missed some soy sauce. Luckily there were plenty of other things that were flavorful, we were able to enjoy the best of it.
Good spot if your looking for a quick bite to eat. Nice sports bar as well if you want to come and watch a game. We ate here twice while in the area. The onion rings and salad were our favorite dishes. The onion rings seemed homemade and the salads were huge and tasty.
