Great local pub. Exciting, great food, terrific waitress. Sweet potato fries were awesome.

My good friend had recently brought me here. So grateful to him for blessing me with some of the crispest wings I have had. Garlic Parm was banging, need to go back to try the other flavors. We also had a small pizza which was perfect for two people and that was very delicious also. The young waiter checked on us plenty and was friendly. We go seated right away and it was a perfect night out with a friend.

I went for the first time tonight and it was a great experience! Such a great atmosphere and the food was excellent! I had a grilled chicken sandwich with added cheddar cheese and BBQ sauce on the side. One of the best I've ever ate! And the mozzarella sticks were nice and crispy and filling! Food came fast and was hot and fresh! Our waitress was great also!! She was right on point! Super kind! The Green Front definitely got my approval 100% I highly recommend this establishment! You won't be disappointed!

Sweet. Potato. Fries. Quite possibly the best sweet potato fries I’ve ever had - straight from the potato to the pan. I had them with a Beyond Burger that was one of the bigger ones I’ve seen. It’s a cozy little neighborhood spot. I wasn’t there for sports, but if you’re looking to catch a game, it’s definitely a great place for that - there were several TVs with a bunch of different games/channels going. We were there for the food and we didn’t feel out of place or anything, and we could still hear each other talk which was nice. I’d absolutely go again next time I’m in Canandaigua!

Great atmosphere inside and an eye catching exterior appearance. Went with my wife and two kids on a Saturday afternoon. We were seated quickly despite the place being very busy already. We waited for a few minutes longer than one would expect when eating out BUT the service was top notch once they were able to get to us. The food was amazing! My wife had a pizza and the kids ordered chicken fingers and fries. Kids loved their meals and my wife ate her pizza for multiple meals. It was still good two days later reheated. I had a phenomenal burger that was cooked perfectly to order with fries. The bill was very reasonable for our current economic conditions. Great experience that we can't wait to repeat again very soon!

We loved this place! It was recommended to me a while ago by a friend, but had gotten there until recently. We had fried pickle spears, sweet red chili wings, and the Politeness pizza. ALL were amazing, but the sweet red chili wings were the best wings I've had in a while! And our server was fantastic. I wish I remembered her name, but she was super helpful with beer selection. She brought me a sample, then when I didn't love it, she assisted by bringing me two more to try. I'll say it again... we LOVED this place!

We ordered the Italian Special pizza and it was impressively tasty. The pizza dough was very fresh and you could tell hand made and stretched. There was the perfect amount of toppings also. My Fiddlehead beer was nice and cold. It has a very warm and clean atmosphere. Service was right on point. I highly recommend you try Green Front!

What an absolute gem! This was our first and far from last time coming here. You have to look a bit to find it just off the main strip but an old speakeasy that still retains that feeling and look! The staff is friendly and personable and the food we had was delicious. The fried green beans were awesome- and the home made in house Italian sausage with the works-now one of my all time favorites! There were so many great items on the menu and an extensive beer selection as well. The pizza sounds like a must try as well. We sat inside and all we could say once we walked in was "wow and cool". It was comfortable and it's size was surprising- we did not even go upstairs and to the decks! So many great old items adorn the walls and its old school style has been preserved and what a great bar! We now have another "must go to" when in Canandaigua and can't wait to see it at night! We WILL be back!

Stopped in last weekend for a late lunch. Everything was delicious and service was fantastic! Our server was Rhian. She was fast & friendly with refills and clean up. Cute spot, nice window seating.. all around great atmosphere. Even the restrooms where spacious and clean.

I have been to the greenfront twice this past weekend and both times the service was great. Today we went with two toddlers who are best friends- they seated us with plenty of room, were extremely friendly, and the manager came up to us and was extremely funny & personable. The waitress gave our little girls a surprise snack at the end. I've never had such great service at a restaurant before, would highly recommend especially because the food was delicious. All 6 of us loved our meals.

I cannot thank the staff here enough for being so patient and accommodating. We took our elderly father and his friend out to dinner here, they both have a bit of trouble walking and the staff were so so so helpful and patient making sure they were able to get in and out of the restaurant okay. The food was amazing but the staff and atmosphere made everything feel welcoming and warm. Thank you so much!!

Driving through and stopped for the night nearby, our only disappointment is that this place is not close to home. The Porchetta Sammy was deliciously unique and the cheeseburger all the way was unusual, huge and very good! Not too loud, fun atmosphere, friendly service, would highly recommend!

Green front is always a good time! Came in last night with friends for drinks and pizzas and we were greeted and seated immediately! Our server, Rachel was the absolute best I've ever had there (even though they are all great!) She was so aware and accommodating, checking in whenever she had a second even though it was apparent she was busy. Will 100% be back and hopefully always get sat in Rachel's section!!

Fantastic start to finish. The food is great, with plenty of choices for all, including vegan/vegetarians and arrives fast and hot. Atmosphere is friendly and laid back with great customer service. I love all of the photos, signs and memorabilia, especially the vintage Roseland items.

This was one of the BEST restaurants I have ever been to by a country mile. The food was all cooked perfect, I had the sausage on a roll and they make it by hand in the basement. As an Italian, I've tried a lot of sausage. This one blew everything else out of the water. The staff were all super friendly and willing to make accommodations. My mom HATES pickles and without fail every other restaurant puts it on her plate anyways. Not here! Our waitress was so considerate of preferences and the other waitress helped out and asked us how our food was! I have not been to such an amazing place with great service and prices in a long time. 100/10 would reccomend here if you're visiting for CMAC and not familiar, whatever you order you can't go wrong!

I come to this area twice a week to see one of my stores. I was kind of board with the fast food I grabbed for lunch, this place was recommended by a member of my bank staff , the food is great, I had their hamburger Heel, which was fantastic, the beef was tender and juicy , but not overpowering . I also had some mozzarella sticks which was some of the best, and loved their mild Buffalo sauce . The staff was nice and helpful, and the place was well staffed for a Friday afternoon.

Was really surprised not to see chilli mentioned anywhere in reviews. Was a bit nervous ordering it, no photos nothing. I travel 48 states and have had alot of chilli and alot of chile's, Jess said it was really good, I don't think she gets a percentage of chilli sales so I trusted her and my trust was not misplaced. It was really really good though some of my friends from Texas would have a problem with there being beans, this ain't Texas and beans belong in chilli there buckaroo. Great service, real people great food beer selection. I had the burger special with moz and tomato pesto, bun was amazing, flavors really great, in my humble opinion burger was great size had to be half pound but was just ok as far as flavor texture. I think I'd see what else the purveyor has I was getting amazing American Kobe burgers for a great price from PFG. Or maybe try searing them or something to get more flavor, but I know it's hard when you're hammering out the plates like this place does. Love this place, pizza looked great, looking forward to getting stuck in town again to try more.

A friend and I had lunch there for the first time. Truly enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere! I had the fish and chips with fries and coleslaw. My friend had the Big Beefy. They have a large menu with lots of options. They all sound delicious!I In spite of being busy, we were waited on and received our food quickly. It was hot and delicious! The waitress provided great service. A gentleman was helping bus tables (maybe the owner or manager at the least) and asked and how we were doing. When we left, he was behind the bar and greeted us with a have great day! It felt like a Cheers atmosphere! Will definitely be going back!

Absolutely love this place! It's perfection! Five years ago while passing by Canadaigua we stopped here randomly to get some food. We got the chicken wings, which were a great size, perfectly crispy, and very flavorful. We decided to come back to Canadaigua this year from Canada just to have these chicken wings again, and they did not disappoint! The beer list is amazing, and The service is out of this world! Our server was so kind, informative, and helpful. We felt so welcomed here, and left so full and so happy! Can't wait to come back in the future! This spot is a must try!

I go to the Green Front every time I'm in town. They have the best beer selection anywhere and their crispy wings are phenomenal. It can get loud due to the acoustics but also just because they always seem to be packed. Great service, their servers are very attentive even when they're busy.

Very good place to eat and chill out. The wings are fantastic, cooked just right, crispy, but tender on the inside. They did seem to have a problem with the sauces. The "honey- BBQ" seemed more like just plain old BBQ sauce, and the Country Sweet wings could have used some more sauce. They do have a good beer selection though, and they had multiple TVs with different games on, etc. Excellent atmosphere. The big one, without a doubt, was their sweet potato fries. Overall the experience my sister and I shared was good. Our server was great and the food came out quickly. Many of the prices were very reasonable as well. The Fries basket was only $5.50 and was easily enough for us to split. However our main courses were underwhelming. She got the Italian Sausage sandwich on a heel and I got a cheeseburger with cheddar on a heel. If you order The Italian Sausage make sure to order the works on it because if you don’t then the sandwich is just that, a flab of sausage on bread, no lettuce, no tomato, no cooked peppers. The cheeseburger I ordered with nothing extra on it but I was underwhelmed by it too. It was cooked medium well as stated on the menu but it lacked seasoning. All In all the service and atmosphere are good the food was just okay. We will be coming back to try other food as we have heard good things about the restaurant.

Nice place without of history and memorabilia. Took a while for the hostess to get to us but it was Satuso I get it. Ordered two beers which came fast. Ordered garlic parm wings. Meh, they were big but dry and lots of oil on the basket left. Tried the Jamaican jerk sauce... not even. Lose to Jamaican Jerk... more like BBQ sauce. Packaged blue cheese dressing which was a disappointment. Ordered deep fried pickles which were frozen and you can tell. Pleasant experience but I'd pass on the wings if I came again. However the steak salad a lady at another table ordered looked AMAZING!

We enjoyed our visit here a lot. Staff and management seems to really care, and are much more engaging than merely going through the motions. The fun and imaginative menu highlights wings and they did not disappoint. Our waiter helpfully suggested the extra crispy versions. Beer menu is solid too. Stopped in for dinner after a Sunday on the lake. Neat local pub, it was busy and our group was seated at the long bar table with stools. Service was quick (not overly friendly) and the food was great. We ordered the dusted wings and sausage sandwich. Both came highly recommended and they didn’t disappoint. Beer was refreshing and cold!

From the exterior it somewhat resembles a dive bar, so we were pleasantly surprised upon entering to find a quaint bar/restaurant. You can definitely tell this is an establishment that the locals frequent as it seemed like everyone knew each other customers and waitstaff alike. The portions are very large and I could've easily split my burger with my husband. The beer selection was large and included many local craft beers. Our server seemed disinterested and disorganized so we were very glad that there was other staff willing to check in on us.

Stumbled upon this extremely popular local spot and turned one beer into three hours and some insane monster roaster wings and a few more beers....the customers were as friendly as the staff. Dont miss this one!

We had several people recommend the Green Front, so our expectations were high. They did not disappoint. The food was pretty good. My wife tried the Friday fish fry and it was very tasty. The fish was fresh and juicy, the batter was crispy. And the fries had a great flavor and were very crispy. I asked about the house favorites and was told the sausage is homemade and everyone loves it, but the pizza is the best in town. Being a pizza lover I gave it a try. I don’t know about the best in town, but it was delicious. I got a small Polimeni pizza. It was perfectly cooked, crispy, and the toppings were fantastic. All around it was a very good pizza. I would like to highlight the service. Our waitress was lovely. Her recommendations were a hit, she was friendly and conversational, and she always came around when we needed something despite how busy it was. The atmosphere is a very comfortable. We didn’t feel too crowded and the decor was pleasing to the eye. The price seemed well worth it considering what other restaurants charge for fish fry nearby. The pizza was $20 and there was plenty for two of us and then some. We had a cocktail and were surprised that it was under $7. Being one of the only places open after 9pm is a huge plus for them. We will definitely come again!

The photos essentially speak for themselves. Typical yet satisfactory fried bar food. Had the sausage sandwich on hard roll with peppers and onions which was slightly above average. The onion rings were a little too well done. Chicken fingers and French fries were more than passable. The atmosphere is what you would expect from most bars masquerading as restaurants, however, the saving grace at this establishment always has been the consistency of the food quality, taste and the ever-friendly, welcoming and attentive service. Our waitress, Mercy hit a home run with us and tended to our every whim with a smile and delightful personality. She is an extremely sweet and polished young lady as are all the ladies who have waited on us in the past. Kudos to management for their ability to attract and retain quality staff. Only recommendation I have is to offer haddock instead of cod in their fish sandwiches and take a walk on the wild side with more innovative specialty menu items. In summary, The Green Front is a very well-run, local restaurant albeit a little on the higher end of the decibel spectrum due to its smaller size and hardwood floors. It is definitely not a place to hear yourself think or have a delicate conversation--- so do not expect it. Prices are reasonable all things considered, and portions are sufficient except for the chicken fingers.

I've always enjoyed Green Front. I've eaten here many times. However, my most recent experience was very disappointing in terms of the food. The service (provided by Faith) was excellent. She moves around like the energizer bunny. I've always liked the atmosphere ... that hasn't changed. Getting back to the food, however ... We first had the pretzel bites and beer cheese. They were indeed "bites" and there were only a few of them. The beer cheese was bland. For the price ($11.95), it was a total miss and I would not recommend it. The biggest disappointment was one of the daily specials we ordered, the "large" chicken florentine pizza. To call the toppings (e.g., chicken, spinach, onion) skimpy is an understatement. There were literally no more than 1 or 2 small pieces of chicken, spinach, onion on each slice. So, portion-wise, it was insulting. Moreover, the pieces of chicken were totally bland ... no discernible seasonings at all. It tasted like frozen chicken you'd buy in a bag from Walmart. The ONLY thing that was positive about the pizza was the crust. It was perfect. However, that wasn't enough to justify paying $22.95 for the stingiest and lackluster toppings on a pizza I've ever had. It seems to me that you're paying far more and getting much less ... not to mention poorer quality. I don't think we'll be back.

I really wanted to like it since many of the reviews state "best pizza in the area" "greatest wings" but everything was ordinary. My son's chicken tenders (not from kids selection) looked overcooked and appeared to have 2 different types. Looked like sysco chicken tenders. Great draft beer selection though!

Got food to go and stood at the bar to wait. Bartender did not offer any help for a few minutes, spending some time with other customers, understandable. The food was okay. Not sure what the excitement or buzz about it is or was. Nothing we ordered jumped out as exceptional. I would say decent bar grub. Seems to be a very popular place for the neighborhood and that's okay. Every neighborhood needs a spot.

Waitress was outstanding 👏 Pizza was floppy and extremely greesy. Burger was sub par. The noise level was so loud we had to literally shout to hear each other. (Maybe because it was the weekend?) We went because it was recommended by friends that lived in the area. Unfortunately, we weren't impressed and that's saying a lot.

The wings were the best I’ve ever had—large, crispy, juicy, and bursting with flavor. The pizza was tasty too. One of the standout dishes was the fried pickles. They had a great breading, just the right amount of flavor, and were fried to perfection. I’m not sure if it was the ranch dressing or the flavoring, but they had a delightful kick. Unfortunately, the good food was overshadowed by poor service. We waited an eternity to place our order after the waitress had already taken our drinks. When I finally flagged her down because our drinks were empty, she only returned briefly. She had the time to attend to us, but she was too preoccupied chatting with the other waitresses (I could see her). We got so tired of waiting for her to come back that I had to get up to go pay my bill. The waitress again was so in conversation with the other waitresses that she seemed annoyed to assist me.

Ordered shrimp bombers that were ice cold in the middle . Twice. The cheese on my big beefy wasn't even melted and the bun wasn't toasted. The server was rude and gave me dirty looks the whole time I was in there. But and I quote" I'm good" according to the kitchen manager. Good to know that spending over 100$ can get you trash food and bad service. Additionally, Pizza Rolls are better than the pizza we recieved.

I recently went to green front with a group of friends on super bowl Sunday. We were excited to watch the game, but especially the halftime performance by Bad Bunny. When the halftime show started, the entire performance was muted. I asked what was going on and they explained that the manager personally did not like Bad Bunny and had put money in the jukebox to mute the performance. We were honestly shocked. It felt unprofessional and disrespectful to mute a major part of the super bowl just because of a personal preference - especially when people are there to watch it. We understand that not everyone enjoys the same music or artist, but as paying customers at a public establishment on Super Bowl night, we expected to be able to experience the halftime show like everyone else. It was definitely disappointing and changed the vibe for us. I hope they handle things differently next time.

Came in to town for a concert. I don’t know how this place has any four star reviews. I am leaving hungry. I ordered the fish fry, the fish was flavorless and cold in the middle. Kids ordered pizza, it covered in grease and flavorless. Our waitress was nice and the food came quickly. Would not recommend this place
