This restaurant was the best dinner at the resort. Amazingly delicious!!! We had the salmon, the filet, the roasted chicken, the mushroom croquettes, onion soup, and some kind of tempura onion rings that were equally as amazing!!! Really stellar, for a resort situation. The only downfall was that the service was EXTREMELY slow.

Had dinner here while staying at Majestic Elegance. The service provided by Angel was above and beyond. One of the most attentive servers I’ve ever had. Ordered empanadas and the Picaña. Presentation was extraordinary, flavor was perfect. A level above the other restaurants at the resort, which are also fantastic.

Our server, Erick, at Don Jaume was great. He recommended the picaña medium rare which was excellent (not too garlicky at all) and he took excellent care of us! It was anice break from the buffets, and, bonus, not too air conditioned. 100 times better than the mexi reataurant!

Amazing restaurant with both wonderful service and food. The inside is meticulously decorated and looks like an authentic five star steakhouse. We had Christian as our server several times throughout our stay and he remembered us and our orders. He also got to know us and was extremely friendly and kind each time we visited. My husband ordered the skirt steak and said it was the best steak he’s ever had! I too was impressed with it as well as the French Onion soup. Probably our favorite restaurant at the resort due to both the food and service, I highly recommend it to anyone visiting. Thank you Christian for making our experience special and thank you to everyone at Don Juame!

We were at the resort for a wedding, and since I love steak, we decided to try their Argentian steak house. We had the steak asada, which we were told is the filet, but with the fat cap kept on. I chose sautéed vegetables as my side with the mushroom sauce. Everything was delicious, but it was hard work cutting the steak because the knives were very dull. Our waiter Christian told us new knives were coming from Spain. He was great, btw. All in all, it was a delicious meal.

Le filet mignon de ma conjointe était succulent. Par contre non steak Rib Eye n'était pas très savoureux et tendre. Les accompagnements étaient bons. Le vin rouge maison est correct.

The Filet Mignon, Skirt Steak and Salmon were great, however the salads need some improvement, the empanadas were great as well and so were the onion flakes

The steaks we had were average, especially the picaña steak which I would expect to be better. The rib-eye was better.

This restaurant was one of the top places for us. Food was delicious although service was very slow. There were a couple of large parties so I’m assuming that’s why it took a while. Also music was a tad bit loud so I felt like we had to talk really loud, not really shout but above average inside voices. Overall had a great experience here.

Steakhouse in the resort. Doesn't require reservations but we did have to be wait listed on the night we chose to dine. Had onion soup, ribeye and ribs which were all flavourful and in good portions. Something to mention is how the meat was cooked. It was too well done for me as I did ask for medium rare. All in all a very decent experience.

Waited an hour for food, asked few times for a request which happened only when you get angry with them. Service is 0. Disappointed , will not come back . Go to a buffet instead

Good is very mediocre and somewhat tasteless for a steak. It’s good to have a restraint vs the buffet they offer. The steak was okay just tasted like butter nothing else 🤷🏽‍♀️. Nice atmosphere and nice and kind waiter.

Just had a meal at Don Jaume restaurant at Majestic Mirage in Costa Mujeres. A disappointment. We put in our order and asked to have everything brought simultaneously. Part of our was meal was brought and the other was not. After a while our waiter Raoul,who seemed overwhelmed, finally went to the kitchen. When he returned, he said they had forgotten part of our meal. He promptly left and never returned . He did not offer us a coffee or a desert. Unfortunately our second unpleasant experience here at Majestic Costa Mujeres

Food is terrible from appetizers to entrees. The ONLY good thing was the filet.

这是我来Don Jaume Restaurant 一次最糟糕的用餐体验，整整等了两个小时才开始用餐，餐馆也不是很忙，中间在40分钟左右问男企台食物好了吗？他说快要好了，再过40分钟之后又温馨提醒他好了没，他又说快要好了，我们一直看着旁边周围几桌比我们还迟到来客人餐已经都开始吃完了还有火焰表演在牛排上，等第三次问他的时候，他好像完全不知道这这件事基本上把我们给遗忘了，眼睛在闪躲不敢看我们后来他说要不要叫经理，我们说可以叫经理，但是后来他也没有叫经理来，还是我们自己去找经理，经理来之后向我们道歉说他里面厨房没有我们点的餐，后来说再等等马上做，最后食物是上了，但是服务员很粗鲁的把菜端到我们的桌子上，然后也没有我们要期待的火焰表演，像这种不敬业的服务员是没有资格在餐厅工作，牛肉煮的太熟了，根本很难入口我对他们非常失望，以后再也不会来了

Absolutely awful! My husband and I tried to eat here 2 x during our stay @ Magestic. First time we were rudely turned away because my husband didn't have closed toe shoes on (we were unaware this was a rule). The second time we were turned away because my shoes weren't "elegant enough" (I have a medical condition and am unable to wear shoes without ankle and arch support). When I tried to explain why I had to wear such footwear, I was very harshly interrupted and told "It doesn't matter. It's not allowed!" This entire situation was quite embarrassing for me. I never imagined that I would be blatantly discriminated against for my disability. I was in tears when I walked out.... This was a costly trip for us and we are very disappointed with the service at this restaurant. So much so, that we will not be returning to this resort. If it were possible to give zero stars, that's exactly what I would've given here.
