The drinks were great and the view of the beach was great. My only issue with this place was the outrageous price. I had a cocktail a water and I ordered a catch of the day lobster that came out to over $120 US. To top matters off the lobster had turned by that time of the day and I couldn't even eat it. I doubt I would return but its a nice place nonetheless

Way too expensive!! for just an ok burger street tacos and 3 drinks it was $72 US The Cat 5 Hurricane was pretty good but the first was wasn't frozen. Second one was perfect! Music however was the highlight of the Fat Tuesday experience!! They played lots of old school R&B and Hip-Hop so of that's your thing (it's definitely my thing) then you may be able to over look the inflated prices! They do not take credit or debit card so be sure to bring cash!! Do NOT I repeat do NOT use the cash machine they try to send you to right outside the restaurant! It charged a 10% exchange fee to dispense US dollars plus $5.75 ATM fee. Basically it cost me about $52 to get $400 out of the ATM because I didn't have enough cash.

It's no longer called Fat Tuesday, it just says Daquiri Shop, or something along those lines. I'd recommend having pesos handy in general(for all these bars) and have smaller bills also, you're liable to get ripped off if you want to pay with your cc or even dollars. This place is fine for just a couple of beers, and people watch if you get a table closest to the sidewalk. The DJ plays mostly hip hop, the pushy women/dudes selling shots mentioned in other reviews, can get annoying, I had to tell them no, a couple of times, and had to be stern so they would no longer come. The waitress I had was fine, not bothering too much or avoiding me either.

Drinks are nasty and overpriced. Taste like a bunch of mix with no liquor. I asked for frozen and it came out watery. Environment extremely loud and overcrowded. The music had a lot of bass and sound like it would blow a speaker. The inside is extremely small and people kept bumping in to me. People just standing around inside and outside. Not to mention it’s attached to a flea market. Will never go back!

Great drinks and service. Server Paloma was awesome!! As plenty of the reviews state about their self-tipping method, I noticed is actually common practice that I noticed in Cozumel Fat Tuesday as well. That taught me to check the receipt and ask questions. I did question my receipt and the "That's a tip for everyone but ME" was explained to me. In which I left a little extra for her. No customer SHOULD have to do this, but seems like it's a free-for-all on your money. We bought a $20 Yard drink with $10 refills only to find out the next day that "it JUUUST went up to $13.50 today"😶. Especially annoyed by this in particular, we will not be returning and spreading the word for people to beware of this place. Apparently these remote locations aren't regulated by anyone but themselves. Check your receipt, check your receipt, check your receipt.

I attended this bar today with a friend. They charged me 188 US dollars for 8 vodka cokes. They also stated they didn’t take card, which seems convenient. I was guided to a cash point that charged me a further 15 US dollars for a withdrawal. The staff were rude and as for the toilet. There was one singular toilet shared by both men and women. The smell was something I can only describe as foul. Do not attend this venue. You don’t want to feel regret.

We are here on vacation at the Riu Cancun Resort. We decided to have something different and visited Almadia for a late lunch. I don’t write reviews, but BUYER BEWARE. The Restraurant is beautiful with ocean views and indoor/outdoor seating. Services was excellent and the food was ok. The problem is how they do the bill. They add an additional $40 American dollars to your bill if you are not paying with pesos. When I showed the young man that in Pesos it cost this much and should cost this much in American $$$ he said the conversion was incorrect. Weird because we almost had the same bill last night at diner and the cost was about less. Needless to say they didn’t get a tip OR THEY CHEATED ME FOR A GREAT TIP. and I want everyone to know that the trickery is not worth it. I would NOT eat there again even if the food was amazing. They will recruit you but don’t go!

You will get taken advantage of at this bar. Stay away from this place at ALL costs. Read the other 1 star reviews, it really is all thieves and scammers at this bar. You could easily end up with a couple hundred dollar bill at this place. The prices they advertise on the menu are different than what you actually pay. They are EXTREMELY pushy trying to get you to purchase tequila shots ($12 USD each) We had to tell them at least 4 separate times we didn’t want shots. Hookah is $40 USD and tastes terrible. They even let people come in from outside the restaurant to try and sell you their items.
