I've known this restaurateur for about 30 years. Back then, at S. Agata and now at Ponte Ballerino. I enjoy strolling there in the afternoon and enjoying cappuccino and cake. I only know his hot food at lunchtime. It's delicious Italian "home cooking" in the best sense of the word... always say yes... go for it when there's still something in the pot... the price/performance ratio is right... always, so far...
Good food, excelent homemade deserts, great landscape in the middle of nature. Got there accidentally, will come back for sure!!
Nothing too fancy but great food, authentic Italian owners, would definitely come back. Personally I would always prefer a place like this to a more ‘fancy’ restaurant.

Cute Restaurant a little bit outside from the center of cannobio but totaly worth it to go there! Extraordinary delicious food! Especially lamb and Steak. Also the pasta! Perfectly nice waits and owner!
The prices are reasonable and the food ok. We got the lasagna which was ok, the eggplant Parmesan which was not the best and a sardine pizza. The pizza itself was very very good but the sardines were just too salty to consume. Not sure if that is how sardines usually are. We had to ask numerous times for the bill and they kept saying ok but then ignore us. Overall it’s a nice spot to have some pizza.
We had lunch at the Chiosco Ponte Ballerino restaurant today. The menu is simple, but the food is very good 👍! The service is friendly and very attentive. The value for money is excellent—they offer absolutely fair prices and no "legal" rip-offs. We highly recommend a visit...
A simple, down-to-earth restaurant with delicious food. We got a table without a reservation and were able to order immediately. In addition to the standard menu, there were six or seven daily specials, which the owner explained to us in German. About five minutes later, our drinks arrived, and seven minutes later, our salad for the starter. By the time we'd finished that, the pizza arrived. We also had water, a beer, and a Hugo. We were stuffed, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. With a generous tip, we were very happy with €50. We'll be back ☺️

Good bar
This place is nice to enjoy with the drinks for eat in you might wait a bit long time. Service not too friendly but not too rude. I like Vitello Tonnato and I order here to try it's super sour for me also the veggie in a plate are Pickled vegetables, cheese to put in the pasta for me was not real cheese 😖 taste like a power
Relaxing place by the river. Service a little slow and nothing provided with the beer which was the most expensive we have had so far in the whole of Cannobio including the river front where they always provide snacks later in the day.
Atmosphere is nice on the terrace but service and communication are awful. The food never arrived bc it took so long and we had to leave at some point.
Pizza was not that good. Water is served in a 1.5l Plastic-Bottle like directly pulled up from the local discount-supermarket. The lasagna was good.
The waiter greeted us in a dirty T-shirt. The pizza bordered on assault. Completely burned. The table was cleared away without comment. Never again!
Rude staff, we waited 40 mins for pasta only to be told they hadn't even started making it yet, so we left.
The food is good. We were ordered 2 menu. We were 4 (2 children, 1 1and half years, and 1 2 years old) . They didn't account the menu price when, we paid, we paid full praice for 2 pasta and 2 meat, and vegetables plate . The owner told to us when we went back, - what we think, for 4 person they dont give menu price... I came here quite often, but after this situation I never enter this place anymore.
We waited for over 50 minutes, just to be told sorry your choice is off the list for today. The waiters should be changed all three of them.
