We really enjoyed our stay. We spent a week in the well-equipped apartment! The kitchen had everything you need for cooking, and the balcony was huge. The bar is simply fantastic, the food is great, and the view is breathtaking.

The Usignolo Residence, with its Elios Bar and nearby restaurant, offers everything guests expect. Peaceful surroundings, fantastic views of Lake Maggiore, beautiful rooms, a good breakfast, and excellent cuisine in the family-run restaurant. Beautiful hiking trails, a breathtaking drive over the Colle Pass, a visit to the ancient knight's castle in the middle of the lake, and Villa Taranto in nearby Verbania Intra make time fly by.

Truly a beautiful residence with all the amenities. The room and studio apartment are truly spacious and basic, with a kitchen including a dishwasher. The terrace is huge and offers a spectacular view. Below the residence is the Elios bar, where you can enjoy a delicious sweet and savory breakfast included in the room rate. Wonderful place, run by the loveliest people. When UBER let me down (not fulfilling a previously confirmed reservation) they took it upon themselves to take me to Locarno in the very last minute where I managed to catch my train. Plus, that view!

Such a serene place to unwind and relax. Beautiful view from the apartment from the balcony. Well maintained property, polite stuff. Small garden to play for the kids and nearby there are hiking trails. Would love to visit again. The bar below has live music sometimes and Ristorante Usnigolo are top notch for food lovers.

We stayed for four days through Booking.com. The service was impeccable, the cleanliness excellent, and the rooms were spacious with a beautiful view of the lake. The convenience of having a bar/restaurant below the property is excellent. Highly recommended, especially for those who enjoy walking and mountain hiking, as it's not close to the lake but rather located in the mountains.

It's simply beautiful all around. The rooms are nice and comfortable with a great view of the lake. The breakfast is plentiful, delicious, and varied. The manager is very kind and attentive, as is the entire staff! We'll definitely be back!

A very large and beautiful holiday apartment. Bright, friendly, and well-furnished. Perfect for 2 people. 3 people or an older child would also be fine. For 4 people, it would be borderline, as the sofa bed becomes a bed and isn't even comfortable to sit on. Cleaning isn't done daily, so the dust that accumulates leaves its mark. Towel changes are subject to a fee. One change per person costs €2.50. It's manageable and encourages you to save towels. However, this is only stated in the information in the room upon arrival. A notice on the website would be better. What wasn't okay was the parking situation. Unfortunately, we couldn't use the parking space assigned to our apartment. Either some stupid German was parked there who didn't understand the system, there are special signs posted, or a neighboring vehicle couldn't park. Informing the reception didn't help either. The fact that the reception is also located in the café/bar below the building has its disadvantages. It's always associated with waiting and misunderstandings, as the service changes frequently, and it's unclear whether you're a guest in the hotel, the bar, or the café. Nevertheless, everyone is super friendly and always tries to help. Italian friendliness, that's what you get! The Wi-Fi in our apartment worked perfectly and was included. Another positive thing to mention is the beautiful terrace; ours faced the west, so it received the evening sun – simply wonderful. The apartment's heating system has one drawback: to heat the bathroom, all the heaters come on...and we almost only wanted to keep the bathroom warm. Unfortunately, these are unnecessary energy costs that you don't pay extra for, but are probably hidden somewhere. In the end, the whole arrangement at Usignolo was a wonderful stay, one we would definitely repeat and highly recommend. Because vacation means relaxing and enjoying yourself, and you can do that very well!!!!

We stayed at the residence for three days at the end of July. Our apartment was very modern and clean, and best of all, it had a huge terrace overlooking the lake. The view was simply magnificent. The staff was very friendly, we felt well looked after and would gladly come back. We recommend it with a clear conscience. Best regards to the team, Mr. and Mrs. Freiburg.
