All in all, absolutely the right choice...without high expectations, but perfect for every occasion. A very laid-back location, a lovely and friendly owner, and the idea is to enjoy a family atmosphere. I've tried a bit of everything, but I've always focused on the aperitivo. Considering the quality and service, I'd say the prices are fair.

We discovered this place by chance while looking for a place for a pre-dinner aperitif with some friends. It was a great impression. The prosecco was very good, and the atmosphere was welcoming and homey. If we ever get the chance, we'll definitely be back.

A good bar in the center of Carate, near the Carate library. A good place for breakfast, informal and welcoming, with delicious croissants. It's also great for a quick aperitif with friends and a glass of wine, as there's a wide selection.

Recommended by a friend. Silvia was really rude. I headed over for an aperitif and a spritz... The offer seemed interesting! After waiting for five minutes, I went to ask for it. I asked for a spritz and she asked me for my ID. Since I didn't have my wallet with the ID to prove my age, this Silvia started asking personal questions... which aren't usually asked. She thought I was a minor. I pointed out that there was a group of minors outside that I knew. At that point, the aforementioned Silvia replied to me in a passive-aggressive, vulgar manner, with unparalleled rudeness; and a lack of attention to the customer. Then she started insulting me, telling me not to spread false rumors. To me, this amounts to slander. Then she also asked me if I wanted a Coke... after all the disgusting and irrational insults directed at me. I don't recommend this experience. If you go, bring identification.
