A classic aperitif spot. Excellent wine cellar. Young clientele, trendy venue with excellent service. Very good food. Recommended for groups of more than four; reservations are recommended.
Wonderful bar with a traditional feel. Cappuccino, freshly squeezed juice, and divine croissants. The staff is incredibly friendly and ready to welcome you with kindness and a smile. Highly recommended!!

Brought here by friends who live in the area, I found a welcoming and informal atmosphere, where the quality of the wines and accompanying dishes make an evening aperitif a rare and satisfying experience. Highly recommended!
The small but welcoming atmosphere makes you feel right at home, especially the aperitif served with a variety of hot and cold dishes. It's family-run (always friendly and courteous!) and the wine list is also excellent.
For me (not a Carate native), it's been a meeting place for a few years, appreciated for its friendly and welcoming atmosphere. A good selection of wines, aperitifs accompanied by interesting snacks, with some seasonal specials. Silvia's spritz is always delicious.

All in all, absolutely the right choice...without high expectations, but perfect for every occasion. A very laid-back location, a lovely and friendly owner, and the idea is to enjoy a family atmosphere. I've tried a bit of everything, but I've always focused on the aperitivo. Considering the quality and service, I'd say the prices are fair.
Enjoy a delicious aperitif with a platter, cheeses, and wine. The place is very nice and welcoming. Service is a bit slow, but the staff is friendly.
The owners are always kind and friendly, the atmosphere is pleasant, and the products are good. It's a shame that the service is often a bit cumbersome and slow, but there's room for improvement.
For me it's the only bar in Carate with character.

We discovered this place by chance while looking for a place for a pre-dinner aperitif with some friends. It was a great impression. The prosecco was very good, and the atmosphere was welcoming and homey. If we ever get the chance, we'll definitely be back.
A good bar in the center of Carate, near the Carate library. A good place for breakfast, informal and welcoming, with delicious croissants. It's also great for a quick aperitif with friends and a glass of wine, as there's a wide selection.
Recommended by a friend. Silvia was really rude. I headed over for an aperitif and a spritz... The offer seemed interesting! After waiting for five minutes, I went to ask for it. I asked for a spritz and she asked me for my ID. Since I didn't have my wallet with the ID to prove my age, this Silvia started asking personal questions... which aren't usually asked. She thought I was a minor. I pointed out that there was a group of minors outside that I knew. At that point, the aforementioned Silvia replied to me in a passive-aggressive, vulgar manner, with unparalleled rudeness; and a lack of attention to the customer. Then she started insulting me, telling me not to spread false rumors. To me, this amounts to slander. Then she also asked me if I wanted a Coke... after all the disgusting and irrational insults directed at me. I don't recommend this experience. If you go, bring identification.
