El Pueblo is one of my favorite restaurants. The fish tacos are a wonderful combination of cheap and high quality. Food always comes out fast, staff always pleasant especially Robin. Patio is nice, great restaurant!

this is my go to place in one of the only places open 24 hours a day. Robin always hooks it up. Come here for the fish tacos, but don't sleep on the taquitos or the tacos. Always easy to park and they take good care of you.

Icker and Robin are the best. Food was beyond good. I drive out of my way to come here. Carne Asada Burrito is so tasty tender and clean, fish tacos are better than any I have had. Cant say enough. Highly recommend.

El Pueblo’s Cardiff location is unquestionably the place I eat after 10 PM. The food is consistently good. The staff is consistently friendly ( Especially Lily, she’s the best! ). Prices are great. Phone gets answered quickly. Vicinity to I-5 couldn’t be more convenient. It’s convenient, easy and delicious.

Been coming to this spot pretty regularly and man they never miss, the fish tacos are always so damn good. I even got hooked up with a free drink as a token of appreciation since I promised to write a genuine review whenever I had time. If you ever want to eat some amazing fish tacos, these are probably the best in town especially for the price. The customer service is also amazing, everyone seems to be very friendly and helpful.

El Pueblo Mexican Food in Cardiff was excellent. Fast service and great food across the board, but the fish tacos really stood out—they were fantastic. My family enjoyed it so much that we ate here twice in five days while staying at the Hampton Inn Cardiff. That says a lot. I highly recommend this place and only wish they had a location where I live. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re in the area.

I recently came to El Pueblo after hearing a variety of good things about this place. I was first greeted by the amazing smell of authentic Mexican food, which was followed by a very pleasant and welcoming cashier (Kazye), she helped me pick out various items on the menu that she recommended based on other customers, she was very helpful and kind. Kudos to Kazye!

I really enjoyed my experience at this Mexican restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, full of authentic flavors, and clearly made with fresh ingredients. Everything we ordered was well-seasoned, beautifully presented, and very satisfying. On top of that, the service was excellent — the staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a proper meal. I would definitely come back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for great Mexican food and outstanding service.

This place is known for their baja style fish tacos! Not only are they well priced but also fresh and made well. They have plenty of other items on the menu but their famous fish tacos are what most people go for. The salsas located at the salsa bar are also very good with my favorite being the dark red chile, it's not too spicey and full of flavor.. stop by and give them a try.

Sits near the Freeway, so you always have the background noise, but El Pueblo (at Valero Station off Birmingham @I-5)has the best fish taco (corn or flour) at the best deal $1.39. Open 24 hours, 363 days/year! Alo the Cheese Quesadilla is amazing at $10.50. I've eaten here 30 or lore times but rarely get anything else, but they are so good!

El Pueblo has been a favorite of our family for years! We moved away and have missed it constantly. The fish tacos, taquitos, carne asada, hot carrots... All of it. We are back for the holidays and it made us so happy to pick up an order of our favorites. And Arturo was great... Greeted us with a smile and spot on customer service. The fish tacos are cheap, plentiful, and delicious. If you order anything else it will also be pretty good, but kinda pricey. Those fish tacos get you in the door so the friend who always gets the adobado burrito can financially subsidize your visit to the pueblo. This dance has been done for centuries, the steps echo throughout history, as the Loss Leader. The vibe is pretty tight beyond that. There's no reason to go anywhere else after midnight tbh

A great spot for quick tacos. The fish tacos are only $1.39, taste great, and are very filling. I usually get those every time because it is such a great deal but I also got a carne asada taco and it did not disappoint. It was crowded and parking was hard but those are good signs when you want great food. I got three tacos and left full. I ate one fish taco before I took the picture because I was hungry.

Alright San Diego...When they Say your food down here is Freaking Awesome...El Pueblo Did Not Dissapoint!! Who doesn't love a Hole in the wall in between a Gas Station and a Carwash?? Stop here and take down anything on the menu and you'll come back for another. We ordered everything from the regular tacos [Adobada, Carnitas, Chicken, and Carne Asada] and of course their Famous and Killer $1.39each all you can order fish tacos!! Yes...I said $1.39. This thing hit so good!!! The toppings were fresh and the tortillas were good! The Surf and Turf Burrito was Was Awesome! And so was the Torta de Adobada. If you guys would smile more, and take advantage of small talk you guys would have gotten a 10 in Service as well. That however does not take away from the whole picture. We even came in with a family of 9, found seats, and were eating in less than 20 min!! Travelers and Locals Alike will agree..You miss this place...Then You really Missed A Whole lot!! So do you and your family a favor, and come over. It will become a San Diego Tradition!! Cheers and GOD Bless!!
