Absolutely delicious. From the moment I walked in, everything on the menu sounded so good it was hard to choose, and the person working was incredibly nice and genuinely generous, which made the experience even better. One thing I loved is that they actually call their cream cheeses schmears—something I’ve rarely seen in California—and the variety of flavors was amazing. I ordered a breakfast bagel with all the classic breakfast toppings plus their special that includes a hash brown, and I added the roasted garlic schmear. It was incredible. The bagel itself was toasted perfectly, not hard at all, and every bite was so flavorful. Service was super quick, and this place seriously deserves more recognition because it’s that good. I would 100% stop here every time I’m passing through on the way to San Diego.

Inglorious Bagels is the real deal - my wife’s from New Jersey and a total bagel snob, and even she’s fully on board. That alone says everything. These are hands down the best bagels in North County - perfectly chewy, super fresh, and loaded with flavor. They’ve got a huge variety of sandwiches and shmears, and honestly, everything I’ve tried has been absolutely delicious. The vibe is always fun, the staff are friendly, and it’s one of those places that just gets it right. Bagel game: strong.

Great little bagel spot in Carlsbad! We got the egg and cheese on sesame and lox on poppyseed. Both bagels were delicious and fresh, the lox bagel was STACKED with smoked salmon and the thinnest sliced red onions. Vibes were good in the shop and everyone was helpful and kind during our ordering interaction. While it was quite packed and busy, it did take a bit of time (~15-20mins) for our bagels to come out, but with a rainy morning and nowhere to be, it wasn’t a problem for us. Will be back!!

We drove out for a while to get here but it was worth the trip. Crunchy on the outside, chewy on the inside, these are the best bagels we have had in San Diego. It met all of the criteria. Latkes were good as well, will visit again.

I’m from the east coast and let me tell you, this is a damn good bagel. I got the hot honey, bacon, and chive cream cheese on the spicy bagel and it was phenomenal. Definitely pricey but 100% worth it

Best bagels in the area. They’re fresh and perfectly cooked. I had the everything bagel and my kids got chocolate chip bagels toasted with cream cheese. Everything was top notch. This will be our new weekend breakfast spot, as it’s right down the road from us. My only complaint is that it doesn’t open until 8 on weekends. We’d go as early as 7, so I think the 8AM open will probably result in us going here less frequently than we’d like. I think it may also help with spreading out that morning breakfast rush.

I believe I tasted cardamom on the jalapeño cheddar everything bagel. I do not like the flavor of licorice, other than that the bagel is good. Next time I’ll just get the regular Jalapeño cheddar.

First time to this location. While the selection of bagels are good and the smears are on point the overall experience wasn’t great. We ordered 2 bagels and a coffee(just hot coffee, nothing fancy). The bagels arrived somewhat quickly. We asked about the coffee and were told “he’s busy”. After we finished our bagels the coffee still wasn’t done. Finally they called our name again. Another patron said “it’s been so long I forgot I ordered a coffee”. If you are looking for quick service, keep looking.

My first time to come here since the old bagel placed closed. I only give 1 star since there is no option for ZERO.. I ordered an open faced bagel (regular) with salmon and cream cheese. The cost is $18.80. Paid this amount. There were 6 People there, but only 2 people actually worked. I waited for a long time (20 mins). After these, I was given 1 regular bagel a smear of cream cheese and a “flavored” other half bagel. You guys be the judge… so much disappointment for a high cost bagel sandwich ugh

I've had bagels here before the one time I had bagels before the guy who used to work, the front end was quick fast. It did his job really good like legitimately. That guy was so quick. He had like twelve orders, and he was doing all of them right away, and I got my bagel real quick. However, this time I came in and the front end guy. I guess you wanted to have a conversation because the guy who came in as a Ferrari and the guy with a Ferrari wanted to start having a full on conversation about basketball and sports right in the middle of there were 3 other people in line to be exact myself, my wife and another lady who seem to be drinking. A smoothie Waiting to order yet. Somehow Your front end thought would be a great time to have on a full conversation about sports. When he has other customers, so now nobody was able to order in a movie here. Waiting for 3 minutes already. And there's no point I'm waiting anymore, didn't even waste time looking at us. Just straight on having a conversation. What's the guy in front? Because maybe he has a Ferrari, and maybe he's talk to him about sports. And so that's what you customer service is like. It's terrible I am very disappointed, and that's horrible, terrible customer service. The bagels were all right last time I had them, but So what's the point of having R? At bagels, if you can't even have good customer service, and you have a full on conversation. In the front end, when it's still morning and people are still gonna come in. I want to order bagels, very disgusting service. At least today was getting completely ignored.

I drove 20 mins to go here and I saw the reviews but the experience was unfortunate. The white guy running everything wasn’t friendly and short with everyone. He had an unnecessary attitude about him. They could not make an iced americano properly. They tried twice. It was water when he handed it to me. The coffee was made with so much lack of care but whatever. I got a refund. Overall the ambiance and the experience is a 1 star maybe 0 and the bagel was well… just a bagel. Not worth my drive. I envisioned a lovely morning getting a coffee and bagel but should’ve stayed home.
