I forgot a valuable in the restroom at night. A staff who took my call in the morning took extra step to call the staff from previous night and found out she kindly stored it in the safe place. When I visited the store, they were happy for me to found it. Amazing hospitality.

Where to start. After the passing of the queen, I was devastated until my experience at this Starbucks. My coffee was hot and I felt the love dripping down my throat comforting, every last heart broken cell in my body. The service was amazing, I think I’ll name my child after one of the many helpful baristas. I could taste the care in the handmade bagels and store churned butter. Thank you for being there for me, Starbucks. There wasn’t any toilet paper but that’s okay; the napkins are just as soft.

I an not a fan of Starbucks in general; but this particular Starbucks is outstanding. The interior is open and quite spacious. The staff is friendly and helpful. There seems to be a large selection of snacks. It's a great place to meet a friend, or several, and dawdle over coffee and conversation. Great ambience.

The food is surprisingly good, and if you want Starbucks, its the only one in Carmel. The staff has always been friendly and follows procedure whole still finding time to avoid rushing. Its usually busy, but the wait is rarely more than eight minutes. The parking is plentiful, but traffic around this part of Carmel is an example of recreational stupidity. Be careful on the way to get your first cup of the day.

What can I say? It's Starbucks. Overpriced code. Frozen food. Big lines. However, what I can say is that it is convenient. This Starbucks had nothing really special about it. It's Starbucks. I can say that the restrooms were clear. We ordered one chocolate croissant and one green tea matcha frappaccino in tall size. The staff were friendly but I saw that they were taking a lot of mobile orders. Overall, I rate this location four and one half stars sure to it being above average for a Starbucks location.

Biggest Starbucks I've been to!! Lots of seating and very helpful and friendly staff. Only downside is they close pretty early for a tourist town 9:00 p.m. but other than that will definitely go again when visiting!

I don’t frequent corporate coffee shops often but the staff here is exceptionally kind- and consistently so- over the past few years I have gone in and out of there. It’s a much better place to study than the other coffee shops in the area because they are open later, the wifi works, and the front of the shop has two large wooden tables conducive to working. It’s the only reason why I frequent this Starbucks in particular.

This Starbucks is a modern, clean and spacious. It has ample seating available. It is located in a good spot, close to Carmel by the sea or on the way to Big Sur. I was hoping to do a drive thru unfortunately this one doesn’t have it. Barista were friendly and served quickly. The restrooms did not seem like the supplies were replenished frequently. Paper napkins were not present and the hand dryer wasn’t functional.

Sometimes the order is correct sometimes it isn't. But they do remake it. Just a waste of time.

Working like a well oiled machine. I liked the new shaken Americano with oatmilk. Also really enjoyed the bacon gruyere egg bites.

The last coffee shop before headed down to Big Sur, which is the only reason I sometimes stop here. Nothing wrong with the location or the coffee, but there are better options in Carmel.

What can you say about Starbucks. The coffee is aight but the ice cream that they call coffee is pretty good. The formula works well here.

Not bad. My four stars was because of the restrooms being in bad shape. The women's was dirty and out of toilet paper and paper towels and the men's was dirty and had an inop urinal that had stagnant urine as well as trash on the floor of the toilet stall. Fire the janitor 😂

Never had a bad experience at any Starbucks. They always get my order right. The choices and variations are many and the price is, well it's always worth it. Good service, patient people, clean place and good restrooms.

Unfortunately, they didn't have mobile order available but they jotted down my order from my mobile app and made it to order. I ordered about 8 drinks and all of them were made to the customizations that I requested within reasonable time. They also maintained crowd control and enforced mask wearing, which I appreciate.

Typical Starbucks: this location gets a good, steady business from the locals. Service is pretty friendly and quick. There is plenty of seating inside, though not too much outside.

Drinks well crafted but needs to make sure the lid is tight as it ended up all over the floor and took staff away from running the register to clean up while busy.

Conveniently located right on the corner of Rio Rd & Hwy 1 in the Crossroads. Mobile ordering available. Great option for studying, working remotely, meeting a friend for coffee, etc. due to the large seating area & number of tables compared to most Starbucks locally. Only reason for 4 ⭐'s is that this location tends to be incredibly slow in comparison to the one I usually frequent on my way to work out on Hwy 68 near Ryan Ranch or the ones I sometimes visit on Alvarado in downtown Monterey, the one next to Home Depot in Seaside, or out in Sand City across from Target.

Turn down, or better yet, off the noisy music. The constant bombardment is not conducive to pleasant conversations which is what we sit down here for.

I'll start off saying I really do like this Starbucks. The staff is probably the nicest of any ive ever been to, and I've never had an issue with my order. That being said, I come through on my way to work a couple mornings each week. I dont think I've ever waited less than 10 minutes for my coffee. Normally its about 15-20. For just a coffee. I understand it's a busy time of day when I come through, but they seem to completely prioritize mobile orders, while people physically in the store are waiting quite a long time to get their orders. Moral of the story, this is not the place to stop if youre looking to grab a quick cup of coffee.

I wanted to say 5 stars, but maybe they need to hire more staff if they want more stars & business. Restroom on this eve was under cared for. Messy & dirty, low on paper products. Drinks were great, staff polite but only 2, I saw, both working hard tending customers, 1 taking orders & one making drinks, & both cleaning back counter area after. Front areas & restrooms in bad need of attention. Should be kept clean throughout the open hours also. Again, maybe an extra staff to clean restrooms for customers would have given 4-5 stars.

Well, this Starbucks doesn't get my usual good or great review. Went in during afternoon rush and asked for pour-over decaf tall and Pike tall. Got the tall Pike right away but apparently the barista forgot to enter the pour-over on the order screen. We waited about 15 minutes and saw many get their orders w/o the tall decaf. Wife went to ask when it was coming out and no order on screen. One of the baristas working the prep area got right on it and it was out ASAP. Good service then but shouldn't have been an error. Not a difficult order. Oh well, there goes the good reviews.

This place gets a ton of volume of people. Best to order in advance. They are short staffed this leads to queues. Baristas are okay, drinks are fine too. Wish they could gear up better to handle the volume.

I personally frequent this Starbucks multiple times a week. Everyone is very friendly except for the young man named “Christian”. He does not seem to be having a good day any time he is at work. Blank stare, no expression, just rude. I asked him “may I please have a straw” and he slapped it in front of me without saying a word. It makes want to go somewhere else when I see he is working.

The baristas were nice. Unfortunately they failed to give me part of my mobile order. Half my food was missing from my bag.

Super slow service despite the fact that there were quite a few baristas working behind the counter. There was a degree of sloppiness in crafting the drinks. I had about 10 min to watch while I was waiting for them to be made.

Not the best. I just went with my parents after church and to our amazment the store was dirty, had no napkins, no half and half plus the trash was overflowing. To top it off they messed up 3 things we ordered. Needs serious adjustment

Both the Interior and exterior of this place are dirty the tables outside are never clean typical Starbucks. The smell inside is musty like B O maybe it’s all the homeless people around

Ordered two lattes online with one and two extra shots respectively. After we left the area, we tried the drinks and it was apparent that they had only made “regular” drinks, with no extra shots.

Terrible. Got my order wrong 3 times. Only wanted a decaf cappuccinos and a skinny latte. How hard? Obviously very as I got an ice brew cappuccino, latte with syrup and then a cappuccino. Rubbish.

The lattes we received tasted like milk. As if espresso was not added. A soy latte was what was ordered. She said it was because she used 2% milk so she made another. It was just as bad. Weakest I have ever tasted. And the facility was filthy. As if the floors hadn't been cleaned in days. The cashier who helped us was very pleasant but was not the one who made our lattes. We Won't return.

there was 1 other person in the whole starbucks and it took 40 minutes for them to get us just 1 drink and 2 heated sandwiches. you could tell that other people were frustrated at the wait as well. they also forgot to add coconutmilk in my drink. the staff were nice but just wayyy too slow. this isn’t the first time starbucks has taken over 30 minutes for a drink. wouldn’t come here again and don’t recommend if you’re in a rush

This would be a nice place to come to, but unfortunately they allow all of the homeless people in the area to hang out in the store from early in the morning to closing. If you had seen what I have you would never sit on the upholstered furniture!!! They also let them smoke right outside the doors so you get to walk through their second hand smoke to get inside. This goes on daily. I've never lived In another area where this is allowed to go on. It's very disappointing and Starbucks couldn't care less!

Actually I give this store ZERO star. I’m a gold star member. But this store failed me. I have a daughter who is a special needs and when we ordered our drinks she asked to use the restroom, the barista said it’s only for employees, I told her my 10 year old daughter is a special need kid and may not be able to hold it. She said she will asked the manager and she ( manager)told me flat out , my dtr can’t use the restroom and told me that we can go to the gas station across the street. Really??? Why are they letting people in the store, buy stuff and yet she cannot use the restroom! Is this what Carmel Valley Starbucks is all about! What inconsiderate people!!!

Terrible service. They served a terrible cappuccino which was far too hot -- the milk was scalded and bitter. I also ordered a nitro brew, and after waiting around for 10 minutes, I asked where it was and was informed they were out of nitro. So I paid for a drink and no one was going to let me know that it wouldn't be served to me. Save yourself the time and money and skip this one.

I'm so disappointed in this Starbucks location! The bathroom was an absolute mess. There was no toilet paper, no paper towels, and there was trash all over the floor. The soap dispenser was broken and I had to pour soap into my hand from this huge, open container. There was no napkins, and every single trash can was overflowing.

Worst location and staff at this Starbucks location. The size and decorations are great. However, service is awful. Dirty, non stocked bathroom. Crew didn't help at all and said they are out of everything and need to go to Safeway for bathroom rolls.
