Romo “Alex the macchiato guy”

It’s a cool idea. A bit commercialized for me. If you’re a tourist this is the spot for you ! If you’re more of a coffee quiet connoisseur might not be the spot for you. Lots of traffic and coffee is alright. Tasted a bit off for my taste. Cinnamon roll tasted microwaved. This place just wasn’t for me and you’d know Alex the macchiato guys taste by now.

This is the world class coffee and cafe. Quality of coffee, highly disciplined baristas & staffs and very well organized rooms inside. I would say this has 5 star customer service + modern place + cozy room. You will be satisfied with the cafe and tastes. I highly recommend for family, couples and even for social meetings. I read employees’ proud and am sure how the owner treat their teams well. It’s just second to none in a word.

Wow, such a nice coffee I had today on this Election Day!!!! I have ordered Latae Extra Hot, and it was perfectly what I have ordered. My first time here, and loved the place, specially Kristine, Olivia they are very good with people. They are very kind and made feel like home for our family by giving coffee what we want. I will be coming back soon here, for a coffee and sure for great folks and ambience.

As a certified coffee snob I am legally required to be a little more than particular about cafes. So believe me when I say Parks is genuinely great - great service, solid coffee behind the bar, and since you’re drinking in full view of the roasting floor the cafe is a really cool space. Imagine the coffee version of a brewery. I just wish they stamped their bags with roast dates instead of “best by” and that they actually hand-poured their pour-overs in something like a V60 or Chemex instead of relying on an automatic machine to handle a Kalita wave. That being said, the espresso is on-point, so if I’m in the area and looking for coffee to drink I’m stopping by.

Great coffee spot for some freshly roasted goodness. It was a lot of space for you to sit and enjoy, it does get busy! The staff could have been a little friendlier and helpful 🤷🏽‍♂️ Picked up a few bags to try at home!

The coffee here is actually pretty good if you are looking to grab a cup to get your day started. The atmosphere and decor definitely checks the boxes of a coffee shop and also the bags of coffee you can purchase allows for you to take home those same distinct tastes this location offers. I have my top tier list of coffee spots and yet I still find time to frequent this location. The iced caramel macchiato is pretty good, but the caramel frappuccino is worth the visit.

Excellent Latte. Very nice sitting arrangements, open and quite spacious including a meeting area with overhead projector. We'll thought out. Good place for hangout or usual coffee grab and go. Worth stopping by, since we stop by on our trip to Austin.

Don’t expect to buy fresh beans here if you make your own espresso at home, even though it’s a roastery. As of Feb 2026 the freshest coffee they have is from November of last year. Not what I would expect out of a a roastery. Other than that it has friendly staff and good service.

The cafe itself is really cute with plenty of seating to work or chat. Chocolate croissant was also solid. We were overall quite disappointed with the coffee - way too bitter with a pretty bad aftertaste.

No vegan options. And a big drop in food quality overall. There used to be really good food when they outsourced from other businesses like bakeries and taco places. Now they just have some really cruddy looking muffins and bagels that look like they were purchased at Walmart. I’m gonna have to start going back to the only other place that has a vegan breakfast option which is Starbucks. I hate going to Starbucks and I used to love going to Parks. I’ll still go for their coffee because their coffee is really good but the food change is very disappointing.

DO NOT USE - This is a scam business and they will make sure you do not know prices. Drivers will upcharge. Our unauthorized staff was tricked into signing for over (10) boxes of product that we will never use. Larry cox and Michael S. refused to talk to us for months then took our machines with no reason given. 11.17.25 - Called / emailed and never received responses 11.25.25 - Called / emailed and never received responses 3.5.26 - Parks coffee will still not communicate and is now continuing to charge us when we did not have service

I drove about 40 minutes to check this place out, and honestly, it was a big disappointment. Most coffee roasters let you sample before buying, but here they expect you to blindly purchase bagged coffee with no samples, no guidance. The girl taking my order didn’t seem knowledgeable at all, and the staff in general weren’t friendly. I even asked how can we taste coffee samples and she had no clue but obviously they do tours but she didn’t know it. They also don’t take cash like what??? When my order was ready, they just called my name and left the drinks on a rack. For a first-time visitor, that was confusing and felt impersonal. Why am I picking up my coffee like I’m grabbing a package instead of being served? I ordered a white chocolate mocha macchiato, and it was hands down the worst coffee I’ve ever had. It was flavorless, bitter, and straight into the trash. Even my 5-year-old threw away his cake pop. That should say a lot. Between the unfriendly service, confusing setup, lack of knowledge, and bad drinks, I literally want my money back. If this style of service and coffee is your thing, maybe you’ll like it, but it’s absolutely not for me.

We drove 40 minutes with high hopes of trying different types of coffee, only to be told that wasn’t an option. The staff wasn’t friendly, there was little seating, and no effort to guide us through the menu. My coffee was supposed to be a white chocolate mocha, but there was no flavor, just plain coffee. The peach tea lemonade was even worse, tasting like watered-down tea with zero sweetness, and no peach flavor despite asking for it full sweet. Overall, it felt like a waste of time, gas, and money.
