We arrived by the tourist train on Monday afternoon in Caselle to find everything closed with the exception of the Caffè Central. So glad it was. The woman who served us went out of her way to make us feel comfortable and was very helpful as out italian is non existent. We had a great meal with 2 very tasty main dishes, 2 sides, half a litre of white wine, 2 large gelatos and 1 coffee for only 29 euros. Fantastic find. Would thoroughly recommend.

Nice typical italian place. Good gelato and coffee. Had a nice and stilted conversation with my rudimentary italian with the server. We had no problem with being overcharged or having to pay with cash.

Breakfast, snacks, and ice cream. Indoor and outdoor seating. On hot days, a nice ice cream is a must. Parking is available 50 meters from the pool.

A café and ice cream shop (with a restaurant) in the center of Casella, overlooking the picturesque square and the Fieschi Palace. The place could use some improvement, and the clientele is often noisy. The ice cream is truly delicious, available in a variety of flavors and served in generous portions!

You have to try this place's hot chocolate with cream!! They're blocks of hot chocolate melted and smothered in homemade cream... delicious! The place isn't much, but the food and service are top-notch in a quaint Ligurian village.

A simple bar in the center of Casella. It has a few tables outside. The decor is basic. I had a herbal tea and some canestrelli biscuits, which weren't particularly fresh. I went to order at the counter because no one was coming to my table. The bartender and waitress were alone. She was nice and friendly, though.

We stopped for lunch after a long walk. The workers' menu costs 12 euros. It includes a first course, a second course with a side dish, wine, mineral water, and coffee. A good selection of four first courses and four second courses, and fast service. Worth a try, even if you're not expecting much, but it's definitely good value for money.

A bar with an enviable location in the town's main square. From breakfast to lunch, from ice cream to herbal teas, everything is good. The only downside is the large area dedicated to gambling (machines), even though it's separate from the rest of the bar. But that's not something I like.

The food was mediocre, as was the service. I think the village is suffering because the train service has been replaced by a bus. Hence, perhaps, the (tourist?) price: €15 for a first course, a second course, a large bottle of water, and a coffee. This is in comparison to two locals who paid €5 for two glasses of Prosecco including stuzzichini...

Cordialità e rispetto non esistono proprio verso il cliente , due volte siamo stati per un drink e un gelato ma la gentilezza della signora bionda non esiste proprio . Sicuramente non torneremo.

Feel we were ripped off as non-italian. Menu outside said 12 euro but we were told 15 for you. Were only then given water - no wine like everyone else. Primi of gnocchi was too strong with garlic and pasta ragu lacked depth of flavour. The veal with potatoes was tasteless and very thin with some potatoes hard and the veal in tomato sauce did not have the depth of flavour it needed. A wedge of iceberg and some tomato lacked any finesse. To round things off told me my card was declined - used both a matter of hours before and after and was fine and basically glared at us until we gave cash. Had to ask for the slip to show transaction not completed - very unprofessional. Stay away.
