the Kingdom of RISOTTO Antico Mulino is the place you have to go if you wanna try a real Italian risotto. There are many kinds of risotto but this time we tried 3 of these: with Mushrooms, with pork sausage (a must in this area), and the Antico Mulino risotto (my fav!). We finished the lunch with a mix of desserts all homemade (OMG!!!). We drank local Lambrusco and of course we finished with a Espresso coffee. Bill around 25€ for person, unbelievable. Top quality food and super reasonable prices. Staff very friendly and polite. Grazie to Alberto, Neve and Sandro to let us feel like at home. We are coming back for sure. GRAZIE MILLE

Il locale è molto bello ed accogliente, i salumi buonissimi, i ravioli con la zucca buoni ma li consiglio con il sugo, il riso consiglio quello mantecato allo sgranato. I dolci ottimi come il prezzo. 1/2 antipasto, 1 primo, il dolce, 1 bottiglia di lambrusco, caffè € 25,00.

Cucina di buon livello, particolarmente riuscite le Sarde in carpione e il risotto con salamella e aceto balsamico. Dolci da non perdere, soprattutto l'elvezia. Il dehors è bellissimo, immerso nel verde. Staff sbrigativo ma cortese.

The food is always excellent, and the staff is friendly and helpful. One thing to keep in mind is that since there's a beautiful outdoor dining area in the summer, it would be appropriate, given that there are more non-smokers than smokers, to prohibit smoking at the tables or, if possible, separate the smoking and non-smoking areas.

I'd been away for over twenty years, and it was a great pleasure to find them exactly the same: the rooms are warm and welcoming, tastefully furnished, with walls painted in soft colors. The cuisine is always top-notch. Their specialty is risotto (of various types), but unfortunately I couldn't try it again because they only serve for at least two people, and none of my companions wanted it. The seafood-based first courses were excellent (spaghetti allo scoglio was sublime), and the desserts were also excellent.

A casual stop on the way. A likely fifth star for the indoor/outdoor setting if enjoyed in the warmer months. The menu is truly unique, offering a wide selection of risotto sauces (the risotto base I chose was truly excellent). I had a "strange" lunch (given the now rare fish and frogs) but it was good. Warm welcome and service. All the homemade desserts were probably very good, if that biscuit I enjoyed with my coffee at the end was any indication. Well done.

A very nice and spacious atmosphere. We ordered two appetizers, one of which was a poor selection of cured meats, costing €14, and a trio of risottos... nothing special, high prices for the quality, taste, and quantity of food. Basically, two appetizers, two first courses, two coffees, two desserts, and water, for €85.

Intrigued by the photos I saw on the website (see photo #1), I decided to go in person. When I asked for the dish I'd previously seen, the waiter replied that it wouldn't be like the photo... The dish arrived anyway (see photo #2). I'll start by saying that if I'd seen that dish on the website, I wouldn't have gone. I decided to try it, and to my immense disappointment, the risotto, not only wasn't good enough for the amount of fried fish, but was also clearly reheated with plenty of butter—yes, because it only tasted like butter—a fried frog (not like the one in photo #1), a catfish (not like the one in photo #1), etc., etc. I'll end by saying: I WON'T GO BACK.

The risottos were good, the only problem was the very poor service. We waited over an hour for the risotto, and besides finding a thread in the risotto that looked like a hair, the waitress's response was: "It's a thread from the plant." Then she went to the kitchen and brought the risotto back with the thread inside, saying: "It's the shrimp's whisker." It's a shame, because the whisker was 15 cm long. Then the waitress argued with us at length about the time we waited, saying we should immediately let them know if we wanted appetizers and main courses together, which we did, yet she continued arguing pointlessly in very heated tones. A restaurant like this is a disappointment, it's not what it used to be.
