We were having dinner on Saturday before Easter in Origen, and the food was great! I had calamari, which were made very soft and tender. Desserts are also very tasty, tiramisu especially. Later after dinner, we couldn't find a taxi or uber so the owner of the restaurant came to us and he called his friend and they drove us to our hotel. That meant us so much because we were travelling with a small kid and it was getting quite late! So, for us it was an unexpected kindness that we will never forget :) If the owner ever reads this, thank you again, we will never forget your help!

Excellent site 👏👏👏. Highly recommended a site to search for it. We had already visited the area once, this time we went to look for the restaurant directly based on a recommendation. Almost every time you go to a place that is highly recommended you have high expectations. On this occasion they were surpassed. It is a place with a pleasant atmosphere. They have high chairs for 🚼. We tried the soupy rice menu. As a second 🥩 entretot and grilled squid. The coffee and dessert are also very good. Very friendly service. In short, everything is excellent. 💯 % recommended 🎖️🏆🏅

Origen is our "canteen" where we are wonderfully welcomed and where we feel good. 🥰 The dishes are so delicious, rich in flavours and quality products; Menu or à la carte, the Tapas are 🔝 The service is efficient and fast, they take care of the customers. 💯 We recommend 100%. 😉

Really good food in Castelldefels! Very reasonable price but the quality is good, everything we ate was delicious!! And the staff was really very nice to us, even though our Spanish is very poor! Recommended!!

We had a bit of time at Castelldefels and decided to stop here for a quick lunch - very good decision! The menu of the day was very short so even in Spanish it was easy to understand, the waiter was super friendly, but most importantly - not only was the food delicious, it was also served fairly quick, even with a rush in the restaurant. If we ever stop by Castelldefels again we’ll for sure come back here!

My experience at this place was having a vermouth around midday. The service was exceptional, very well attended. They have a fairly extensive menu, and everything looks very well prepared. In my experience, I ordered a vermouth rosso accompanied by "Espinaler" chips with their special aperitif sauce. I also ordered some Cantabrian anchoras [anchovies are sold individually]. Both the presentation and the product are very good. I just have to go back to try these spectacular dishes on the menu, which are promising enough to give my personal assessment and experience. For now, I recommend this place, "ORIGEN," to enjoy a good aperitif before lunch.

Lugar agradable para comer. Acogedor y el servicio inmejorable. Los 2 camareros Paco y Alba, extraordinarios, vale la pena ir al restaurante Origen sólo por ser atendidos por ellos. La comida también está correcta. La única pega es que, en esta época de verano y con las altas temperaturas que están haciendo, no está bien dentro del restaurante, pues aunque tienen aclimatación, el aire acondicionado no funciona como debería y hemos tenido que abandonar el local en varias ocasiones.

Un menú con relación al precio muy bueno, bien servido y rápido. El camarero muy agradable y el local también. Recomendable totalmente.

Tantas opiniones de 5 estrellas me parecen que son de amiguitos... La cocina esta bien, en la media, tampoco para tirar cohetes. Mi reproche principal es la poca cantidad en los platos...un poco racaños. El servicio estupendo, Paco y la chica muy amables y atentos, un 5. El ambiente, le metería un 5, pero el calor que hace este verano se hace insoportable por la falta de climatizacion

Servicio decente, pero éramos los únicos clientes así que no era difícil. La calidad/precio muy mal. Unas patatas bravas por 7€ siendo patatas congeladas y la salsa de bote es un delito. Croquetas decentes a 2€ la unidad, pero por ese precio esperaría algo bastante mejor en calidad y en presentación.

En general la comida (de tapeo) muy bien, el servicio muy mejorable (3 errores en el servicio: un plato no pedido, un plato equivocado y la cuenta equivocada para menos). Resultado propina cero. He vuelto y cómo se dice, fuera el diente fuera el dolor… cambio de camarera y todoo perfecto. Ahora si, calidad, amabilidad y servicio.

We decided to visit the place because of high rating, but it’s surely overrated. Key concern is the staff was very unpleasant for english speakers and we found it impossie to make a simple order so if you are not a Spanish speaker, I recommend going somewhere else
