Best fish in Coeur D Alene!! The only negative comment I could leave would be their tartar sauce. And it’s more of a personal preference. They give you the choice of two tarter sauces from their list of homemade sauces. The traditional has too many capers in it for my taste and the rest is an assortment of different taste sauces. You may like their sauces. The fish is good enough you don’t need sauce. I stop here whenever I’m in the area

I really enjoyed this place. Great place for seafood. I had shrimp, which was very good, and halibut, that wasn't! It was too dry for my taste. They also have a ?? "Poke' Bar"??, that I knew nothing about (I'm a poor, limited travel Lad (old man!). Somebody, please help me!) They also have several interesting Tartar Sauces. Very beautiful, friendly, helpful staff. I truly enjoyed this place.

Great causal dining with quality sea food. This was not our first visit to Fisherman Market so I can say without hesitation that the staff are always friendly, welcoming and the food is always consistent. We've had nothing but good experiences here over the years. I got the fish taco plate and split the spicy California roll with a friend. The never disappoint.

Great food at great prices. I got there in the middle of the lunch rush, but the staff kept its cool and got everyone's food to them in a timely manner. I got the fish taco platter which came with 2 fish Tacos, I chose grilled fish over fried, and a generous portion of black beans and Spanish rice. It was excellent!

We were visiting Coeur d’Alene and craving fish tacos when we came across this spot. The restaurant has a really cozy, homely vibe, and the staff were super friendly and welcoming. I ordered the fish taco meal, which came with two tacos, rice, beans, and a fountain drink. I had the cod, and the tacos were excellent; fresh, flavorful, and definitely the highlight of the meal. My only small preference was that there was a bit too much sour cream for my taste. The rice and beans weren’t great, but honestly, the tacos made up for it. They also offer a wide variety of seafood options, so I’d recommend this place to anyone in the mood for fresh seafood. I don’t remember the exact price, which probably means it wasn’t too expensive. Overall, a great spot for seafood, especially their tacos!

My catfish was superb! As good fried catfish as I have had anywhere, even in the South, hot and flaky with a crisp coating. My fries were OK, but not hot, just warm. My wife's Shrimp Louie was OK, but minimal, only lettuce, boiled egg, shrimp, and three cherry tomatoes cut in half with dressing. There were none of the typical vegetables included - grated carrots, red onions, cucumbers, etc. There are no waiters/waitresses. Ordering and payment is done up front at the counter, your name being announced when your order is ready. The atmosphere is lacking. It has an industrial feel, with high ceilings, concrete floor, metal chairs, and an echoing, electric ambiance. It's a good place to eat for a quick, good lunch. There is a great variety of seafood choices on the menu.

3.19.24: I was excited to check-out this place when a friend's mom suggested it. We went in for lunch and I was surprised of the variety the menu had to offer. I wanted to try so many different things and knew for sure I'd have to come back. This time I went with a simple poke bowl and got the Sweet and Spicy bowl. I thought if this was pretty good then they're other seafood probably is too. The Sweet and Spicy bowl was pretty good and I'd say there was enough tuna for the portion given. My favorite part was the sesame sticks--not many places offer that. It's worth noting the edamame was nice and firm and not overly cooked or mushy. My friend's mom ordered the same poke bowl and liked it so much that she came back the next day and ordered it again! The ambience was chill and I liked how the tables were spaced out enough from each other and not all squished up next to the other tables. Service was great and everyone was friendly.

The food was 5 star! Taste just as good as Hawai'i poke!! The fish was so fresh! Loved it! Our cashier was nice, she helped us save by getting basically what we wanted with the special. It was our first time there and hoped to get a little more assistance with where things were. It's never necessary, its just nice to hear a welcome and friendliness. 🙂

I was craving battered fish and chips. I saw a picture someone posted on here of the kids meal and I was sold! I ordered the 2 pc. cod fish and chips with a side of coleslaw and their original Tartar Sauce. The two fish Sticks I was served was not what I was expecting. Their fish was breaded not battered. Though the actual fish was delicious. Fresh tasting and super flaky. The coleslaw was not good. Very bland and bitter. If you aren't going to make it even slightly sweet, at least make it not just taste like a mouthful of mayo. The fries were excellent. And their tartar sauce was the best I have had in a long time. If you like breaded fish sticks with fries and tartar, definitely eat here. If you like a fluffy batter and good coleslaw please eat elsewhere. And tell me where you went.

Decided to come to this restaurant for the fresh sushi. we ordered the chef special and was alittle disappointed on what the chef decided for us... the chef basically gave us strictly salmon..for 80.00 we expected something abit more exotic like eel, squid, octopus.. but they mostly gave us salmon and tuna. if you come here for Sushi I would avoid chef choice and order your rolls separate.

A cool looking spot which is quite busy. The staff were friendly and the food didn't take much of a wait. The lobster roll is pretty good. It is a nice garlicky roll which has a cold lobster salad in it. It was nicely done though more garlic would help it, I think. The grilled shrimp tacos were a bit disappointing. The shrimp were overcooked and rubbery. The seasoning was pretty good. The fries were a nice texture and I was picking up a slightly nutty taste which I liked. They were a bit under salted.

Eaten here multiple times. Although their food is good, usually undercooked or overcooked. Each time we go the service seems to deteriare more. Last time was not fully cooked halibut. Staff likes to stay behind the counters and chit chat in spare time rather than emptying the trashes that are almost always full or cleaning off the tables that are rarely cleaned. At the very minimum replace the womans bathroom toilet seat. A cheap one is only $10. Do better.
