The eternal debate about whether flautas are made with flour or corn is ongoing, and this traditional spot in Ciudad Victoria makes them with flour, but they're giant-sized and delicious. I visited after years of not being there, and I'm glad it's still open. I hope they improve their facilities, although the reason I came was for their flautas, and they didn't disappoint. Very good.

The food was pretty basic, to be honest. The place looks a bit run-down, but it's passable; it'll take the edge off your hunger. The bathroom didn't have water and was dirty. Two flautas, one soda, and one bottle of water cost $240. There's no parking. The waiter did a good job.

In terms of flavor, everything was great… I just needed to try the picadillo (they didn’t have it that day), the customer service was one of the best, the staff was very attentive… the facilities are somewhat old and deteriorated, it needs cleaning, there is no air conditioning, only a fan and a few… I don’t recommend eating there if you have family, it seems more convenient to pick up the order to eat at home!! I will try to go to the other branch, I don’t think I will return to this one!! Very hot and uncomfortable to eat with the family….

I arrived at 9:05 on Sunday, and well, nothing was ready. There was only one very friendly lady doing everything; the others hadn't arrived, haha. She prepared everything for me, but I was waiting for about half an hour, and besides, there was no mincemeat 👎👎👎 Then the owner arrived, seeming all scruffy and grumbling because no one had come and everything was dirty, haha. Obviously, he didn't even say hello.

Clean, simple place with good service. They offer several stews served on a giant flour tortilla; I recommend the pork rind and the pork in green sauce. The fresh orange juice is very good.

No dudo que sea excelente pero a mí manera de verlo el calor les tuvo que jugar en contra pues sinceramente está horrendo, eso combinado con el echo de que no tenían ciertos guisos como deshebrada y que la salsa verde carecía de sal hicieron que no me dieran ganas de volver. La gente es amable y te atienden en seguida pero que ganan si ni siquiera refrescos tenían tienes que ir a el OXXO que está en la esquina a comprar tu refresco ya que solo tienen de un sabor, es lo malo de estar casado con una marca de refresco en un establecimiento de comida. Sin acceso para sillas de ruedas, sin sillas para infantes y sin estacionamiento.

I don't recommend them. The first time I tried them (2016) they were terrible; the only thing that was appealing was the folded flour flauta. It had very little flavor, very little or bad taste, and was already very expensive. Less than a week ago, I gave it a try because I went to lunch with a friend, even though I knew I wasn't impressed the last time, and, surprise, it was no exception. The tortilla was very nice, yes, but the green sauce was flavorless and the chicharrón seemed burnt. With what I spent, I could have eaten better somewhere else. I hope they improve that, because it's too much for them.
